Arrogant, cocky, and yet irresistibly charming, he’s exactly the kind of man I shouldn’t be reaching out for. A dangerous mafioso who isn’t afraid to taste forbidden fruit.

Miss Merikan is the pen name for Kat and Agnes Merikan, a team of writers, who are mistaken for sisters with surprising regularity. Kat’s the mean sergeant and survival specialist of the duo, never hesitating to kick Agnes’s ass when she’s slacking off. Her memory works like an easy-access catalogue, which allows her to keep up with both book details and social media. Also works as the emergency GPS. Agnes is the Merikan nitpicker, usually found busy with formatting and research. Her attention tends to be scattered, and despite pushing thirty, she needs to apply makeup to buy alcohol. Self-proclaimed queen of the roads.

They love the weird and wonderful, stepping out of the box, and bending stereotypes both in life and books. When you pick up a Merikan book, there’s one thing you can be sure of - it will be full of surprises.

Santo and Lucrezia's story :) Standalone spin-off from the Guns n' Boys series.

This was SO much fun to write. Sexy and fast paced, gives a good glimpse into what was happening in the background while Domenico and Seth's love affair was blooming.

Blood and marriage is pretty accurate. Maybe add naughty smutty bits.

This was just a quick spin-off from a M/M mafia novella these authors wrote. It kind of highlights the events of a secret couple that must have been in the background of that story. An arranged marriage, and a secret affair romance. Add in some mafia happenings, and some bad guys and you have this story. I enjoyed it, but I kind of wish I had read the series it spun from first.

Lucrezia Bruni is the daughter of an important Sicilian mafia family. To forge a stronger alliance, she must now marry Seth Villani, son of the retiring Don and a man she’s never met. Having a sense of loyalty and duty to her family, she acquiesces to her father’s wishes. However, upon time to meet her betrothed, someone else captures her attention, opening her eyes to the reality of her predicament.

“His lips, so cold in the beginning, were warming up fast, and I slid my arms around his neck, wanting him even closer. This kind of passion was something I’d always wanted to avoid at all cost, but here I was, surrendering to it with the man I couldn’t have.”

Though Lucrezia wished her future husband to be a kind man, she didn’t expect a complete lack of connection between them. Adding to her doubts is Santo Villani, the groom’s cousin who treats her like a real person and not just a pretty face. From he moment they met, there was a spark and Santo continues to act on his feelings despite the consequences.

“I promise…” He licked his lips, his face no less tense than throughout our walk. “I will keep an eye out for you. I’m sorry. I know your situation is an impossible one.”

The turmoil surrounding the coronation of Seth as the new Don creates havoc among the family structure. Alliances and motives are tested, as lies and greed rise to the surface. Knowing she has limited options, Lucrezia relies on Santo to keep her protected and on his intellect to find a solution to their situation. In the midst of blood and violence, their chemistry is palpable, especially with Santo’s overt sexuality and sense of romance.

“Oh, God, yes.” I shuddered, pushing back so I could take in more of him. We were a very tight fit, but each time he dove inside me, he somehow reached deeper, as if my body made space, coaxing him into its deepest, darkest secrets. “I want it all. I want to feel you all night.”

In knowing Seth and Domenico’s perspective all along in this series, I wondered about how Lucrezia and Santo came about. It was interesting to read how Lucrezia tried to connect with Seth and also discovering how Santo inserted himself in her life. Now that Santo’s character has added dimension, I am curious to see how he will continue to affect the overall ongoing issues affecting Domenico and Seth. Also, Lucrezia’s character impressed me with her resolve and willingness to choose the more difficult path.

As always, the writing duo of Miss Merikan offers a dynamic story full of intrigue, passion and sacrifice. I recommend Blood & Marriage as it definitely adds to the mounting series arc.

This review contains spoilers for the first three books in the Guns & Boys series.

Honestly, though, if I hadn’t already read Seth and Dom’s story, Blood and Marriage would have pushed me to do so.

The narration in this one is very fast-paced, and the whole story is told from Lucrezia's first person-past tense POV. I found this to be a brilliant choice. It made the book special; it almost resembled a memoir!

So....Lucrezia Bruni..."That manipulative, stuck-up, exploitative, bloodsucking leech!" This was me every time her name would come up in Guns n' Boys . I hated her, for the sole reason that she married Seth, when he belonged with Dom. Clearly.

But now...
"I moaned into the kiss, holding on tightly to his shoulders, overcome with an emotion I couldn’t name.

I didn’t want him to leave today.

I didn’t want him to only be a fleeting presence in my life.

I didn’t want to marry Seth Villani.

Lucrezia Bruni is a complex and multi-dimensional character . First of all, she's really young. Like 18 years-old young. But as the daughter of a mafia boss, she has seen and lived things that most women will never experience in their whole lives (thank God for that). She comes off as the shallow Instagram queen, or the girl who only cares about clothes and make-up, but it's mostly for show.

In reality, Lucrezia is a smart woman. She keeps her head down, and plays her part. She accepts an arranged marriage because this is how she can survive. At the same time, she's romantic, and mourns the Prince Charming that will never come. Or so she thinks.

There's also another weird thing going on with her. It's like she belongs to a different era. Her clothes? The way she talks? The way she carries herself? I don't know what it is, but it intrigued me, and, at the same time, told me to keep my distance. Sorry, I didn't mean this to be a character study, but Lucrezia Bruni is one interesting MC.

Santo and Lucrezia might be different, but they have an important thing in common: they 're bound to their family duty, and there seems to be no way out. There is a lot of passion, and this sense of forbidden love. I LOVED how protective and possessive Santo was (although I wanted to punch him the first time he opened his mouth).

One of the best things about this book is that we get to see A) what happened "behind the scenes" so to speak, while Seth and Dom were on the run, and B) some of Guns n' Boys main events from a third POV (including that first, dreadful, wedding night).

Overall, this was a great spin-off story that fills in some blanks, sexy, not too angsty, and perfect for a Saturday read. Recommended!

4.5 stars. Guns n' Boys never disappoints. It's my absolute favourite series, this author duo also my favourite authors. They never write the predictable, they never write boring, they just write great stories that I totally get immersed in.

Now ... to the story at hand: Lucrezia's and Santo's story. At first I was a touch disappointed I didn't get Santo's POV, then I changed my mind as I got more and more immersed in this tale. Lucrezia, who I'll call Lu from here on in, was a lovely character, nothing about her annoying, everything about her deserving of a happy ending. And I very much wanted that HEA with Santo right from that first kiss he gave her to the end in Mexico (I was so happy the authors finished it at that point in the Guns n' Boys storyline, I was hoping they would). Anyway, back to the rather delicious man called Santo. I only got glimpses of him in the other Guns n' Boys stories, but here the authors lavish us with freaking how great he is. He is so calm and collected, handled everyone so perfectly, so much so that the dumb arses didn't see him coming. God, Vincenzo was a freaking moron. He was continually poking the stick at the cobra, thinking it wouldn't strike. And Santo was a cobra, a dangerous creature. I think he's perfect as the Don. He has the poise, plus the power to back what he does.

Hahaha, I'm getting off point here, because I really, really liked Santo. I pretty much guessed that wasn't Seth kissing Lu at the beginning. Santo went for what he wanted - Lu - and got her.

I also enjoyed immensely seeing the other side of the coin. We got to see how Seth felt about the whole marriage business in the other books, how he saw Lu, what he did while engaged, then what he did right after marrying her. Then in this book, we see Lu's POV, which just made this whole Guns n' Boys world so much more 3 dimensional. We have a whole world here, depicted so well. I loved reading how she saw Seth as well as Dom. I could perfectly understand why she was so angry with Seth, although everyone who read the other books know he wasn't given a choice. But she was sweet, and didn't want any harm to come by him. She did understand to a point that they weren't really given a choice. And she did calm down afterwards. She really was a nice character.

And I also enjoyed hearing about the storyline concerning how Santo's father doesn't want Dom dead. I think Dom will be the death of Santo's father. He just won't let go. I think in his own warped way, he loves Dom.

I'm digressing again. It just shows how much these authors have wrapped me up in their storytelling. I highly recommend this book, along with all their other books in this series. If you like M/M I recommend you start on the first Guns n' Boys book, if not, then you can read this one as a standalone. It was perfectly self-contained and had all the information you needed.

I can't wait until the next Guns n' Boys' tale. It doesn't matter whose POV it is, I WILL read it :)

P.S. Amazon wouldn't let me post this review. What is so wrong about it? After I got their email, I adapted it slightly, then reposted it, and they still turned it down. Grrrr. It's the first time Amazon has turned down one of my reviews. I did get it as an ARC, maybe that's why, although I did see Amazon allowing other ARC reviews to go up for lots of books, so why pick on this review?

My first Miss Merikan read and what a good way to start.

Blood & Marriage is a spin-off of the Guns n' Boys series and the timeline for the book is the same as in books 1, 2 and 3 of that series.
As a fan of GnBs it was really good to see some of the moments from the outside, like the way people perceived Seth and Dom's relationship.
This book sheds light to what was going on in the Viliani side while Dom and Seth were on the run.

It can be read as a stand alone too and it's definitely enjoyable.

Lucrezia is Seth's fiancé but he's in Germany at the time of the scheduled first meeting so his father makes arrangements for Santo to take Lucrezia to sicily.

Lucrezia has never seen Seth so when she first sees Santo she assumes he is her fiancé and Santo.. He's a made man alone with a beautiful woman at the end of the day so he kisses her.
When Lucrezia finds out she feels embarrassed and decides to take some distance from Santo but it was her first kiss and she feels a pull towards him.
With the passing of months and events in Lucrezia's life Santo becomes her only ally in the Villani family, They develop a connection and Lucrezia knows is wrong but she can't help it.
Seth is good looking and a nice enough man but he barely sees her. And Santo ignites her insides and makes her want more.

Santo and Lucrezia's journey is crazy, dangerous, full of lust but of love too. Lucrezia is Santo's woman and he's going to do everything he can to protect her even if she's not with him.

There were little moments were I was so into the story that I would get mad at Lucrezia "oh you hussy! Your husband could die and you are banging his cousin" but then I was like "Wait.. Seth and Dom.. Ok ok keep doing your thing with Santo"

Lucrezia is very young and she makes mistakes like everyone, what I liked about her is that she was in no way a doormat and when she made mistakes she was mature enough to assume responsibility and apologize. She was very smart too, she knew how to act and what to say to people and often to get her way.

Santo is an amazing character, I love how he didn't followed his dads orders blindly and when he learned new facts he took them into consideration to make decisions.
He is not a good guy, honestly sleeping with your cousin's wife is not ok but he did care for Lucrezia and always tried to keep her safe and make sure she was okay, That I respect.

The only thing I didn't liked, but this is because 1. I'm greedy 2. Santo is the character I was interested in since book 3.
I wanted Santo's POV so bad! The book is not lacking at all, we still get to know him and learn some of his past and the kind of man he is but I personally love him so I would have loved to hear his voice.

Maybe someday Kat and Agnes decide to give us a sequel maybe not, I would love it but I don't need it. This book did have a good ending and I'm pretty sure we are gonna see more of Santo in the GnBs series.

3.5 - 4 Stars

One of my favorite writing duos! I have read several of the Merikan sisters' M/M and M/F books and they never disappoint. This book, which could read as a standalone, is a side story to Seth and Dom's story. But if you have not yet read the other Guns 'n Boys books, get them!! They are totally addictive!

Lucrezia is promised to Seth in marriage by her father. Even though she is very young and naïve, she dutifully goes along with her father's plan. Until of course she meets Santo, who is tasked with escorting her safely to meet her future husband.

Santo and Lucrezia are HOT but their relationship is completely forbidden. Each one of their encounters is laced with danger. I definitely want to read more about Santo: he could have an entire book written just from his point of view! Handsome, dominating and smart, Lucrezia can't resist him.

This is without a doubt a violent mafia romance but yet it is not quite as bloody or strange as some of the books I've read by this duo. Lucrezia is almost an old-fashioned woman, from the way she dresses to her speech to her mannerisms. And even though Santo lives in a world of constant violence, he was sexy and romantic and almost tender with the beautiful Lucrezia.

'Blood & Marriage' is a super fast-paced and spicy read, with all of the trademark sexual tension and wonderfully descriptive writing I have come to expect from Miss Merikan. A great addition to a wonderful series.

Five Bloody Stars!

In Merikan’s Guns n’ Boys universe love always has sharp jagged edges.
Passion intertwines with violence and only the strongest survive being swept away.

 photo ezgif.com-gif-maker_zpsdrnlo46n.gif

In the underbelly of the Italian mafia time has stood still. Woman are a still mere pawns used for wheeling and dealing, the sacrificial lambs whose sole purpose is to suit the male agenda and comply with decisions. Dreams of marrying the man you love are distroyed when duty calls and after all, how else can women serve their family?

Lucrezia, barely eighteen (and each of those years spent seemingly sheltered), knows what her obligations as a mafia daughter are:
Shut up, look pretty, be the perfect hostess and follow your father’s wishes.

Any illusions regarding the marriage she is forced into are shattered when she encounters her fiancé’s charming and dangerous cousin Santo. He tempts and bates, ridicules and teases, bringing her closer to the edge from which she can either jump or fall into the abyss.
It’s impossible not to play with fire when you’re drawn to the heat.

“My life is not an adventure!” I yelled at him, only to close my mouth tightly, listening for whether someone had heard me upstairs. My heartbeat quickened, and I counted to ten, clutching at the towel at the front of my body.
“It could be with me.” Santo’s eyes bore into mine, and for once it was my face that he was staring at.

And what an adventure it is when you give yourself permission to follow your heart (and other parts...)!
Blood & Marriage can be read as a stand-alone, but why the hell would you?
Guns n’ Boys is one of the better crafted universes I’ve had the pleasure of reading and even non MM readers will be titillated and delighted by the exciting plot and charmed by an array of fascinating complex characters you love to hate and hate to love.

For those who frown upon reading an MF book within an MM series, I urge you to forgo any prejudice. From previous books we know Lucrezia , but trust me when I say- you don’t know her at all.

Not only is our protagonist beautifully fleshed out, we also get plenty of back story from Lucrezia’s point of view. There’s more than enough delicious morsels for Dom & Seth (Sethinic? Dometh?) fans to nibble on and after reading this book I realise just how necessary it was to expand the many plot threads.

This book complements the series beautifully.

This is probably the “softest” book I’ve ever read from either Miss Merikan or K.A.Merikan. There was less violence and none of the weirdness I’ve come to expect from their books. Yet, all the things that made me fall in love with their books are still there; the interesting plot, the morally ambiguous characters, the element of danger that makes things so exciting and the kind of sexual tension that makes wombs explode.

I could literally write an entire review on only the chemistry and sexual tension between Lucrezia and Santo. It. Was. On. Fire! There is just something about a forbidden relationship and the secret interactions that elevates every single whispered word and simple touch and makes the whole thing seem impossibly romantic. Their sexual encounters are drenched in eroticism, sensuality and passion. It was torture of the very best kind.

And speaking of romantic. Santo. God. At first what seemed as an A-Grade asshole slowly turned into a man capable of the kind of gesture that makes all your swoony bits squirm in delight. I hate that this almost 200 page book was so short because I just wanted more of this man. I wanted more of his frustration, more of his hardness and mystery, more of his softness… This is just one of those books that you can’t put down because you’ve become addicted to a character.

If you haven’t read the Guns N’ Boys series by K.A. Merikan you will want to before finishing this novel. And if you have read it, this book is a fantastic addition to the series and a look at what happened to the people on the other side of the tale.

While this book is a spin-off of my favorite MM mafia series, it can be read as a standalone. I will say though that it was very interesting seeing the "other side" of what happened when shit hit the fan.

Just like I fell in love in book 1 when in the first chapter, Seth lost an appendage, I believe my words were "THIS is a mafia book". I will say the same for this book. Taking up the ladies side, I imagine this is how it all "really" happens for the daughters of Dons. Being married off to forge bonds between families. Doing what they can for their families the way they were raised to. I think Lu is brave. You may see her as someone weak doing what she's told, but I see strength in her resolve, doing g what she must to protect those she loves the only way she knows how.

I also loved her little defying moments. In the way she'd dress, her wedding dress and her choice of tarts. Even when we see her in the last GnB book with her blue lipstick.

I didn't know what to think of Santo throughout the series, but this book seals the deal for me. I love this character. He's sexy, smart, cunning, & protective. And these two light up the pages. He isn't a sheep to be led and I think he and Lu will make awesome leaders.

I give this book 5*

Seth's Wife P.O.V.

This book gives insight into what Seth's abandoned wife( Lucrezia) was dealing with while Seth's great romantic adventures with Domenico continued to be a hot, lusty, violent, deadly rollercoaster ride in the other books. At the beginning of this tale Lucrezia father has already used her as a bargaining chip and arranged the marriage with Seth's father. As the kids of mafia dons neither Seth or Lucrezia can refuse this union. They don't know what each other look like. Lucrezia's own hot, lusty, violent and deadly adventure begins on the day Seth is suppose to come and retrieve her from her father's home. The man who shows up, kisses and flirts with her is actually Seth's cousin Santo. This Insta-lust then love story fills in the plot of what was going on in Italy while Seth and Domenico was in hiding and running for their lives. Great addition to a great series.

This review contains spoilers for the first three books in the Guns & Boys series.
This book is a companion to our beloved Seth and Dom series. Normally, companion novels never live up to the original cast of characters. This book was well written from the start and had well developed and lovable characters. Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder because this book paints Santo and Lucrezia, who we viewed as the enemy in Guns N' Boyz, as HOT! Their connection was immediate and as beautiful as it is forbidden. What a difference it is hearing about her from Santo's perspective and to hear about Santo from hers. It was so funny to hear about key moments from their point of view as well.  This is an excellently written book and I want more Santo!

I loved this book!!! Not only was it hot as hell, but it was hilarious. Dom and Seth painted Lucrezia as an old maid, but that couldn't have been farther from the truth. She was a gorgeous, vivacious, fashion forward woman. I loved her. While reading Guns N Boys, Lucrezia seemed liked she was just waiting for Seth to come scoop her up, but in reality she was carrying on a hot n' heavy relationship with Santo. Santo was a level#3 book boy. He was smart, calculating, and sexy. Santo and Lucreazia's passion jumped off the pages and definitely gave Dom and Seth a run for their  money. I really enjoyed experiencing Santo's and Lucrezia's relationship from their perspective. I laughed so hard every time I thought about what Seth and Dom were doing while this book was taking place...what a great experience. I know Lucrezia and Seth will end up being best friends and I can't wait. Their fashion and food blog is going to be amazing. Thank you K.A. Merikan for giving us this ARC!!!!

** I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

A very small part of me always wonders what was happening over in Italy while Seth and Dom were on their "honeymoon" after Seth left Lucrezia after he was forced to marry her. Lucrezia has always been a one-dimensional character or speed bump to my boys' road to happiness. I rarely read m/f anymore unless Miss Merikan decides to put one out for the world.

This book was a true eye opener for how little I care or thought about Seth's wife. She always been Seth's wife in my head never had her own identity till now after reading this book. I didn't care for her narration in this book. She came off a bit naive and superficial in this book. I can deal with an aspect of her personality because of that something she shares with Seth. With Seth, their Dom's frankness and craziness that balances him out. I felt there was too little of them out of the bedroom to flesh her out as a character. She was a girl barely a woman who got stuck in an impossible position as female and trying to make the best of a bad situation.

Overall, I always love the flow of the dynamic duo books but this one didn't do it for me. I want to say that I was more interested in knowing more about Santo's backstory to balance out Lucrezia's journey.

I'm sort of disappointed, this was a pretty good story but I expected much more. This is a series and a set of authors that I really enjoy reading, but this story just did not give me the same great feelings as the other ones. I didn't feel that Santo even cared for Lucrezia that much--she just seemed like a fun and dangerous distraction, which is so sad because at the end of Chokehold their story seemed like it was going to be an epic forbidden love story.

This actually explained some things of the other books and now they make more sense. I also was made aware of Vincenzo's horrible fashion style and after everthing that he has done in this book, I'm glad he is dead.

I liked the relathionship. More healthier than Seth and Dom, that is for sure. I only have a problem whit one scene in the beggining. Santo is a decent man and Lucrezia is kind of a Queen.

This is one of my favorite m/f mafia romances. BUT. Even though this is a m/f spin-off from a m/m series published under the authors' other name, I do NOT recommend this as a standalone. This is more of a companion novel for the Guns n' Boys series to fill in the gaps to what happened to Lucrezia Bruni during book two, He is Mine, and when Santo Villani made his claim for Lucrezia when we see him in book three, Homicidal Instinct. And I know not all m/m readers like reading m/f, but I really loved this book and I think it fits in well with the tone and everything in the Guns n' Boys series. I love Lucrezia, and only wish we had Santo's POV in this as well since the entire novella is from Lucrezia's POV.

Content notes include homomisia, bimisia, sexual assault, and references to child sexual assault that happened in the past.

Obviously, this book started off kinda iffy where consent is concerned, but this is a mafia book after all. I do wish we got the story from Santo’s POV as well but I actually really came to love Lucrezia. However, I really loved how the mysterious Santo winded up winning over Lucrezia. We see her slowly finding herself and becoming her own person in this story more so than what we know of her from Seth and Dom's POV.

Santo is Seth's cousin and they're all involved in running their little mafia enterprise in their own way in Italy. While Seth wants out of the business and Dom was the assassin Seth's father deployed on secret missions, Santo really wants the top spot.

I loved that even Lucrezia turned out just a tad more dangerous by the end. She is such an unexpected character and I loved that she can hold her own. Would it be amazing if she also learned how to use a gun or put those developing kingmaker skill of hers to more use? YES. But what we do learn about Lucrezia is that she's no flower standing in the background hiding away from Santo and what the family is involved in. She is ALL in with Santo, even if this is the life she was raised into.

One part that wasn’t so glossed over as I would've expected for a novella was Seth and Lucrezia’s wedding night. We never got any details from Seth’s POV in book two actually, so I’m not sure why it was necessary here?  It was uncomfortable to read, considering everything we already know about Seth (and how much he is NOT attracted to women at all). And we also know that Lucrezia and Santo are endgame. This book IS from Lucrezia’s POV so it does inevitably cast Seth in a bad light. It was just an odd choice to me to include so much.

But I think this is a fun story to go back to knowing that Seth and Dom are looking to find their own HEA, and here we have Lucrezia and Santo falling in love and getting their own HEA. It's also comforting in a way to know that because these characters get paired off and get their own books that we know they eventually have to come together on good terms by the end of the Guns n' Boys series and have to survive the series? But maybe that's just me. The funniest part in this book is how cute I thought it was to see Santo calling Seth a baby bear, and realize that Lucrezia AND Santo have a thing for being secret social media influencers.

*4.5 Stars*
So after finishing GNB-CH I was really excited to see Santo's an Lucrezia's story. Now It's been a really long time since I have read any MF *MM ftw* so I was a bit hesitant whether I would enjoy this or not. I was pleasantly surprised that I did indeed like this book. Not gonna lie I'm so not used to MF sex scenes tho...MM has ruined me lol but I trust K.A Merikan. I enjoyed getting to see more of Santo behind the mask *God these boys will be the death of me* as well as learn more about Lucrezia. I suppose this could be read as a standalone but I think it's better enjoyed if you read the Guns & Boys series beforehand. In that series we don't really get to see much of who Lucrezia was as a person rather than a name mentioned other than she is to marry Seth. But Santo gets involved behind the scenes and the drama...Begins. This book was entirely in Lucrezia's POW which I wasn't expecting but I actually thought it worked out well. Random but I really liked her sister too! she seems fun :D Not gonna lie I was focused a bit more on the events from their points of view from GNB Lol because I'm a hardcore fan . Santo and Lucrezia had their own forbidden love story that I was surprisingly engaged to see play out. They both are bound by family obligations and being together seems like something that could never happen. My only complaint was wanting it to be longer lol but that's okay because if you read the latest GNB, I think we will see more of Santo as least XD Despite being more comfortable with MM than MF I trust K.A Merikan so I definitely had to read this. Thanks Ladies <3 Btw I totally had to go read GNB again after finishing Blood & Marriage tho ^^

Even though this is a spin off from "Guns 'n' Boys" series it is a standalone which I totally loved since this was a first by Miss Merikan for me.
This was a fast paced mafia forbidden romance. This is told through Lucrezia's pov which was harder for me to feel the characters.
Lucrezia, daughter of the Don puts up a front, struggles to make good until she can get away from all the violence, bloodshed, rules and obligations.
She's accepted her fate, biding time.
Only, twisted-fate leads her down a different path during a time of chaos.
I was graciously gifted a copy inexchange for an honest review.

I don't despise Lucrezia as much as I thought! Go figure!

I loved the insight into the other part of the family and what was going on while Seth and Dom were on the run. But I was reading this for Santos, not Lucrezia. I wanted Santo's POV!!!

Still a good book and a great standalone to the G&B series

I'm a bit disappointed by this book, sure I'm partial to Seth and I'm reading the Gun 'n Boys series so I knew some of facts yet...but the Lucrezia's story not worked for me. I didn't like she , naive, at the mercy of all even of Santo, none backbone in her fashionable body . I wanted more action, more scandal , I wanted a crazy heroine .
