This book provides an excellent foundation for understanding body language. It goes beyond that though by helping you develop insights into the body language of people around you as well as your own body language. There are a lot of tips for improving your body language to support communication with friends, business colleagues, and even enemies.

Julius Fast’s Body Language from over 50 years ago is still better written and more useful, plus it doesn’t cover only visual cues.

Pretty unremarkable although I learned a few things. 3 stars is probably a bit harsh

Trump keeps his elbows locked into his sides: a controlling, blocking behavior. He also has a habit of turning his head from the camera while his eyes remain locked into the lens. He has many strange body language behaviors, but then, he's a sociopath and grew up in a life of privilege where he was never thwarted or told "no." They call him a "ringmaster" in this book. I would use the term "steamroller."

Took me forever to finish because of how boring it was. Didn’t really learn much except that “the art of body talk” just depends.
