She loves me. That's what she told me. I've already lost enough people in my life and I can't bare the idea of losing her too. I couldn't handle it. So I have to break it off. I have to walk away before it's too late. I have to keep telling myself I don't love her. And maybe one day I'll actually believe it.

Friday is the continued story of Axel and Marie while also showing the parts of Hawke and Francesca that was skipped over in books 1-3. This whole series has been fascinating and gut wrenching. There is so many insecurities the men are dealing with, thinking they are like their father's and that they do not deserve love. Unfortunately for Marie and Francesca, this just brings heartache their way. It's almost painful to witness them being torn in two by the love's of their lives, but then the ending is just so much sweeter as a result of it all.

Axel, has such a fear of losing people he loves that he can't believe that he is capable of loving anyone long term. When Marie tells Axel she loves him for the first time, he responds in the worst way. It's so obvious Axel is in love with Marie, except to himself. He knows he's miserable without her but doesn't believe he can be the man she needs. It takes the possibility of losing her for good before he finally realizes he can't live without her. Once he does, man did he redeem himself. The ending was beautiful.

As for Hawke and Francesca, I almost forgot that I already read their happily ever after in book 3 since Marie and Axel's story had to go back in time. You get to learn that Hawke never forgot about Francesca and what he was up to while they were apart for those two years. Some of it made me so mad, but some was incredibly sweet. You learn about how he looked after Francesca without her knowledge that just showed how much he truly loved her. The fact that he thought he was a monster and didn't deserve her was ridiculous. I may have to go back to their book 3 and re-read their HEA. I did not like seeing their struggle again after already reading their beautiful future.

Next in the series is Kyle and I can not wait to read his story. If anyone deserves to find their forever, it's him.

Another night I couldn't sleep because I could not put down this series!
I am so into it, that I keep reading at any chance I get!

Axel is in hell because of leaving Marie. After she tells him she loves him, he bolts and can't see himself being in love because of what happened to his father. Now, Axel is miserable and can't get over Marie. No matter what.

Axel and Marie's relationship have a lot of things in common with Hawke and Frankie's. It is crazy seeing when one couple is good, the other is miserable. I did love how we saw Axel grow and mature. He faced his past demons and became a better man, mostly because of Marie.

I also enjoyed the fact we saw a sweeter side of Hawke. He was pulling for Marie and Axel the whole time, and played matchmaker to help....

I loved this series. I can't wait to read the next one!

I received a copy of Friday in return for an honest review. The Timeless series has been a read that leads you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Love, lust, anger, despair and even hate all combine into a great read. So with all the bumps in the road that Axel and Marie faced, it was great to see Axel finally get his head on right and Marie, well stubborn will lose out when faced with a hell bent and committed Axel. For those yet to read this series, the stories are not stand alone, you'll need to tighten your seat belts and begin your ride with Monday.

Another book I whipped through. Even though I knew what was going to happen, I still enjoyed the story. Good grief, there were so many spelling errors/wrong words it was distracting.

Who knew that the story of Axel and Marie would be so complicated however that’s what we get here moving into the second installment of their story. We left off with Marie telling Axel how she felt since she was sure that he reciprocated yet it’s too afraid to either acknowledge it or act on it, so he runs. That destroys her and destroys chance for happiness. and for him as well.

We watch the girls finish college and graduate, and we see Hawke continue to pop into the picture both to keep tabs on Frankie and her well being but to also try to help get Axel and Marie back together. His intentions are in the right place but it’s rarely helpful or successful since no one knows truly why he and Frankie broke up and no one wants to listen to advice when they’re miserable either. It’s sweet and makes you really want to root for him, but so sad because you know that there’s only more pain and sadness for everyone involved.

This story takes us to New York – after Axel managed to help Marie get a job at Prada. I’m a bit confused frankly as i’m a new yorker and i’ve spent years of my life working in fashion to really understand 1) what her job is there at prada (they don’t have a magazine and never did) and 2) get how it was that she was able to get such a high paying job out of college as entry level jobs (which is what she should have with no high end fashion experience). she could never afford an apartment on her own, never afford designer clothes, especially since rent it high and entry level pays like nothing. but that’s just one of many inconsistencies i’ve found in this NY element.

Regardless, she’s got a job that she likes, Frankie seems to be on the right path to find a location for her bakery and open that up (inconsistency #2 as her location is on Lexington and fifth, and um…..those street run parallel to one another, they don’t intercept)/ Axel some how manages to find a job in NYC so they’re all there living their dreams.

The challenge now of course is that the girls want to move on with their lives and the boys are harping on their ladies. We know that this is going to end in heartbreak if things aren’t done in the right way, and with these guys, the right way is going to be the long game.

What’s nice about this story is that we get an element of Frankie’s bakery inception that we didn’t see in any of the previous books. We know that there were people helping her to get it set up etc, but we didn’t know what Hawke did for her that she still doesn’t know about from the beginning. We also get to see what prompted the engagement that led off one of the prior installments of Hawke and Frankies stories and that’s a really sweet bit to this.

I enjoyed this series for a few different reasons but what i love most is that there’s a way to contnue it through the eyes of Kyle – the guy that had Frankie’s attention for a while, and yet Hawke got in the way of that. So….i’m off to read Saturday, (on a sunday – whoops) and i’ll be back to tell you how that one goes

JFC…does the author do any research?? Myrtle Beach is 10 hours from NYC. It’s also south of NYC. One does not come down to NYC for an interview from there, nor is it a two hour drive… Truly this is worse than the whole “IV league school” from the last book 🙄🫠

I really hated this couple in the end. They lied to and deceived the couple in the first series (you know, their BFFs and family)…even when they both knew that couple was still in love with each other. They both had opportunities to change the dynamics of that H/h situation but failed them, terribly. However that couple did everything in their power to help this couple out. To find their way back to each other every time they fucked up. This H/h continued to lie even after they’d been helped because they thought they knew what was best for that H/h. This H, a man who said the absolute most vile things to his sucidially depressed sister which made her attempt to take her own life, never even admitted to self how horrific his words to her were ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS…much less the things he said to his h. I could rant more but I won’t. This pair isn’t worth it.

Axel is such an immature guy. Marie should have dropped his ass and moved on. He uses her over and over and she always takes him back.
I was so over him and didn't care how they got their HEA. After everything he did and her forgiving him they deserve each other.
All the misspelled words was very distracting. At one point the were talking about how the yard needing mowed but they didn't have a mowlawner? Really? How do you not catch something so obvious? Maybe you need to invest in someone else to do your proof reading.

The series isn’t written in order. First the storyline goes in order than the next book backs up to fill you in with more details but you already know the outcome from the previous 3 books. Words left out of sentences - what happened to proof reading? I’m on book 6 - story is moving forward from where book 3 ended!

Missing storyline between Friday and Saturday

At the conclusion of Friday, the notes say that Frankie and Hawke have found their way back to each other, references Kyle. The version i have downloaded does not include the story of how Frankie and Hawke got back together, and no mention of Kyle!!! Not sure what is wrong.

childish characters

This book is poorly edited and drones on and on with repetitious behavior by weak characters. The male characters especially are immature. No strong woman would ever put up with their wishy washy repetitive bad behavior.

This is the fifth book in the Timeless Series. I like them. This is still Maria and Axels story.

Once Axel realizes he is in love with Maria, he freaks out. He breaks it off with her because he is afraid of losing her, just like he has lost everyone else in his life. Its too much pressure. He was only supposed to be a playboy, never to all for the girl. He doesn't know how to handle his current situation and lets hope he can figure it out before its too late.

I like this series so far. Happy Reading :)

This is what I was looking for when it came to Marie and Axel's story. It was mainly all about them and it gave a deeper look into everything between them. This time around I did enjoy the little snippets of Hawke and Francesca because they did not overpower their story and it showed how much they were there for them and the many attempts to open their eyes and talk some sense to both of their BFFs.

Denial. Denial. Denial. Axel does not believe he can be more for anyone including the one woman who has meant more than any other flings of women he has hooked up with in the past. The fifth book Friday in the Timeless Series entails his hesitation about love and getting too close with anyone and how afraid he is that history will continue to repeat itself when it comes to people he holds dear to his heart. We learn that the words "I love you" is his kryptonite.

Marie has always had a thing for Axel and when they were finally a couple she felt nothing could tear them apart but after confessing her love to him things turn downhill quick. How can the one person you have strong feelings for continues to keep breaking her heart? She did what she had to do regardless how much it would hurt. The want to be with Axel will always be there but it is enough to just be two people in a committed relationship without saying and/or expressing those three words people in love would like to hear and feel?

When we were together, we always made something beautiful. When I was inside her I felt whole. As our bodies moved together the pain was shaved off. We fell into each other, finding comfort the only way we knew how. She wasn't my drug, She was my cure.

The chemistry between Axel and Marie were pretty hot and intense when they were together but a woman can take so much of her heart breaking and being taken advantage of. We also get the random moments that they share but they both interpret the situations differently. I could not help but want to just shake some sense into these two. No one said that love was easy and their story of needing to move on will have you wanting more for these two. This book was written just right to understand who they were as a person and as a couple especially since we should already know the outcome to their story. ;)

In the next book of the series, Axel tries to live his life without Marie but he quickly sees that while it might he thinks is best for her, it might be the worst thing for both of them.
Much like the first couple, Axel and Marie suffer a break up because of the man’s insecurities and then that aha moment goes off and he tries to win her back. Unlike the first couple though, it only happens once. And unlike the first couple, while it may be frustrating to see Axel keep denying his love for Marie, I can understand it. They quickly became my favorite couple of the series because with them, I wasn’t just rereading the same things over and over again.
Axel got a lot of baggage that he is carrying and I love that Marie is the one that makes him face what happened in his past. It’s obvious that what happened with his Dad is going to cause problems with Marie. You would have to be blind to not see that. What I like the most, and something that EL Todd does an amazing job in, is how his father’s decisions molded the people that Axel and Frankie became.
Marie has her own things that she needs to work through. I like that she doesn’t just give into Axel and his problems that she makes him face what his problems are and that he is not the man that he is better than the man that he thinks that he is. My favorite scenes with her though are the ones where she protects Frankie’s honor and snaps at Hawke for what he’s doing to her. As we know, he doesn’t exactly leave her life but Marie hates that he thinks that he can just essentially stalk her but not be with her and make her happy. It’s a fair point and I know that we all wish we could have a friend that would defend our backs like her.
While I did like Marie and Axel as a couple better, I felt it was a little repetitive to how the first couple went. I would have liked to have seen more of a difference between the two sets because it felt like it was just too much the same. I hope that with the next couple there is more differences.

I love this series.

It starts off where they aren’t together Axel and Marie and they try to get on with their lives.

Marie tries and starts dating again, but all she thinks about is Axel. He has broken her heart but she still thinks about him.

Axel can’t believe what he did. He tries and moves on but all he does is think about Marie. He tells Francesca and Hawke that he doesn’t love Marie and they are telling him different, and he doesn’t like that.

Hawke and Francesca are still broken up but Hawke always keeps tabs on Francesca. They both try and get Marie and Axel back together again, but they are both being stubborn.

In this book you find out a lot of interesting facts between Hawke and Francesca.

Jealously is a curse and Axel can’t handle it.

The books goes to where Francesca opens her bakery and how Axel proposed.

Everyone needs to read this series, you will enjoy it.

Friday is a continuation into how Marie and Axel's story began.

At the end off Thursday we were left wondering how Axel made it up to Marie, because if you've been reading the series so far you'll know how it ends. Axel is scared and doesn't realise his feelings equate to love despite being told by numerous people,He's just fearful after what happened with everyone he's loved in the past so he pushes Marie away.

This one tells us how Marie and Axel overcome all the fears they have and are able to forgive and to be able to trust, how to move beyond everything and move past it all,we also get an insight into bit and pieces of Frankie and Hawke apart.

I received this book in return for my honest opinion.

There are times when I wish the weekend didn`t come soon and this is one of those times. Axel and Marie have captured me like Hawke and Frankie with their up and downs towards love. I have to say Marie is one strong woman for going through this with Axel. The times they are together are hotter than ever but like any man Axel is scared. The love Marie has for him is beautiful and applaud E.L. Todd for showing us that no matter how scared you are there is a woman there to help you conquer anything. Cannot wait to see what else E.L. Todd has in Book 6 dreading when this series ends so beautiful.

Friday is a continuation of Marie and Axel’s story. While their book Thursday was ok and simple, Friday was so much more. Their story was given more of a life in this continuation, with so much emotion from it all. Marie and Axel were sweet and sexy together. At time acted a little childish, but what grown up doesn’t once in a while? While we get glimpses of my favorite couple Francesca and Hawke along the way. This book so much more of how deep and how far Hawke would go for Francesca, that’s why I love the guy so much. Can’t wait to read more.
