Here walk in the ass Lorenzo (from the Cassanos Familia) – At 1st he gave her everything she needed, or so she though. Lorenzo started to became very abusive & Catherine decided to leave - but all she did is run right into a crime scene
Now the she considered “Rat “to the Familia’s since the police put her in witness protection –Catherine thinks she safe- She’ll soon find out how wrong she is- when Anthony kidnaps her
He gave me a choice- “Die or be his”
Now my life & death is in the hands of a my new captor who happens to be the same man that who now seem to hold something much more important “My Heart”

First time read from author Willow Winters. This is book 5 but I believe i read some where these were standalone, which I had no problem following the story. I got about 40 percent then I just couldn't get myself to finish. Loved the concept of the theme but the execution just was just NOT there for me. Lots of repetitiveness. The story felt like it skipped all the heart racing build up, exciting, OMG between the main characters just so you could get to the sex. (Dom/sub) Which was hot'ish but felt awkward between them.
It went between Catherine be unwilling in the bdsm (which I wasn't feeling it) to Catherine being willing (and back and forth and back again). She was so LAME. The author had her keep repeating how she was going to escape, blah blah (The author did not convince me at all that this was the case) but Catherine's vagina was having second thoughts! It just was too quick. Anthony felt like a robot. So then the story just started to get boring. Maybe it was the writing or how the characters went about doing things who knows.

Wowza! I have been clamoring to read Willow Winters for a while so when an opportunity arose to receive an Advance Reviewers Copy of BAD BOY in exchange for an honest review, I was giddy with anticipation.
And this gem of a book exceeded even my wildest imaginings!!
In this dark and twisty 5th installment in the Valetti Crime Family series, Anthony, a contract killer, has an attack of conscience when he is ordered to take out Catherine, a bewitching beauty in the Witness Protection Program who crossed the wrong men in the Cassano family. He is deeply infatuated and feels inexplicably possessive of his mark, so he cleverly comes up with a tantalizing compromise. He'll claim her as his love slave and spare her life in the process. Deeply aroused at the prospect of training her to fulfill their most decadent fantasies, he quickly sets his plan in motion. He stalks, drugs and kidnaps the stunning young women, brings her to his abode and when she wakes up, petrified, in a cold damp basement, he coldly offers her a deal...either agree to be his sweet submissive or die at his merciless hand!
At first she is defiant and tries everything to get her formidable captor to set her free. But Anthony is transfixed with his feisty prisoner and is not about to let her slip out of his grasp. And try as she might, she is irresistibly drawn to Anthony. He is a man of many contradictions and sets her traitorous heart aflame. Ohhhh...how I relished this book!!! Where to begin? Well for starters, BAD BOY hit my sweet spot because nothing scintillates me more then a deliciously depraved, emotionally driven Mafia romance that is heavy on feels, passion, excitement and leaves me tingling in all the right places. The chemisty between Anthony and his soft, naughty kitten was ELECTRIFYING, and my heart throbbed for them both!
I loved the fierce battle of wills that soon paved the way to sweet submission. The severe abuse that Catherine suffered at the hands of her former master's cruel, punishing hand was gutwrenching, and Anthony's backstory was equally poignant! This was a couple to root for and each and every moment in this book i was riveted.
There was also the perfect balance of danger, discord and desire. Speaking of steam, the power exchange between Anthony and Catherine was panty-melting hot! I loved how even when he was strictly enforcing lessons in obedience, it was never about physical cruelty but gentle, tender loving dominance. The story moved at a steady pace and the pulse-pounding ending gave me shivers and quivers and ultimately left me shedding cathartic tears of joy!
Bottom line: A spectacular mafia romance with a swoonalicious HEA that gave me warm fuzzies and whetted my appetite for the next Bad Boy romance from the wondrously talented Ms. Winters!

Ok listen up... This is not a typical bad boy romance. I am only 16% in & I already know this is a DNF for me. WTF people!!! This isn't a romance it's a book about kidnapping and punishment until our h submits to her captor or hay she has options. Submit or die... humm let me think both choices suck ass!!!! This is a story from page one about killing, torture and degradation to our h. I enjoyed willows other books but this one, NO just NO!!!! This would have been no stars if the ratings allowed. I'm the first to enjoy some erotic romance and some bdsm, but in those your characters form bonds you want them together. There is no bonds or connection made with our H/h. There is only kidnapping submission or be killed. With those options what's a girl to choose??? Mine is to not finish this crap!! My review goes against the majority, read at your own judgement.

The two certainly have their ups and downs, scary moments too, but Anthony not wanting to kill Catherine opened up a whole new world for them. I absolutely relished this story till the last word. An unforgettable and gratifying read. I look forward to reading the next book in the Valleti familia’s escapades. these books are not about 5he BDSM lifestyle. They are about kidnapping, coercion, deprivation of needs so the victim is dependant on the kidnapper and ultimately gives in for her own survival.When she gives in there shouldn't be desire, want need from the victim. How women rate these books 5 stars and deem them hot and romantic speaks more to the fucked up state of women . How these monsters get called hot Sexy alpha males is beyond comprehension. Want to read mafia romance, read Crow. Reaper,Ghost. These books are disgusting in that they manipulate the reader into thinking they are romantic. I read 2 to try to get to some type of redeemable quality, none was found

3.75 stars, A good dark Mafia Romance read.
I don't really like reading books with authors or bloggers or anything close to home it takes the fantasy part away for me.
That being said it was gritty, edgy and hot.
When Anthony gets a hit request for Catherine after a month of watching her every move he goes against the request and decides to keep her.
Catherines choice is submit or die.
With a Dom, submissive theme Bad boy is a hot read with intense moments told in dual pov's and flows really well.
Would I read more from this author? Yes, I was curious about the other characters and the mafia family feel.

5 dark and kinky stars!

I haven't been in the mood for romance lately, its just not a genre I've been reading, but wow, this book reminds me why I freaking love romance!
Bad Boy was a little dark, a lot kinky and oddly, very sweet. It just worked and it hit all my buttons, definitely one of my favourite mafia romances to date.
While the comparisons to Comfort Food were obvious, I really enjoyed the references as it's another of my all time favourites.
The ending was super super perfect and I want more!

I loved this book so much and I love the sexual tension between Anthony and Catherine and I love that Catherine is a reader and loves reading smut and it's her job aka writing a column, beta reader and I did like dom and submissive and I love that Anthony didn't want to kill Catherine from the beginning and that Anthony and Catherine both have the same fantasy and I love the ending in the book and I read this book in a day and I just love reading willow winters books and I love the spicy scenes between Anthony and Catherine so much but I wasn't a fan of Catherine abusive ex boyfriend lorenzo and I love that Catherine killed him and I absolutely love the valetti crime family series so much and I got a bit emotional at the end of the book when Anthony was shot and I can't wait to read more of spicy Mafia romance by willow winters and I just love all the characters and there different personalitys that they have and Catherine is my favourite FMC in the valetti crime family series and I like the short chapters in her books and I love that this Mafia series is family related except for the women to not get involved in the Mafia aspects is there rule and I love the family get togethers and I just love that I can read willow winters spicy books in a day and I just love her spicy romance books and writing so much and I love that Catherine writes her own romance book about her and Anthony and the rest of the other couples in the Mafia family but she uses a pen name

This is smut if I ever read smut before!! Yummy!! This is the darkest Valetti book I believe. So prepare yourself for the sexiest Dom you will ever meet!!
Anthony is the Valetti hitman (Tommy's brother)(I feel like I had an Italian accent saying that. Ha) He makes a living taking out guys in the list. But this name on the list is a sexy female, and after he looks into said female he decides she is his to keep. He has a kinky side and all he wants is a submissive. I love this story. I thought it was going to be too dark for me but no I actually liked it way more then I thought I would. Anthony had a really jacked up childhood and I think really he just wants control over something. And that is what he gets. I love the story and how they developed. It was realistic not just instant, you can't help how your body responds but your mind you can.
I love the Valetti family (you don't mess with the Valetti's) and the last couple pages made me smile so big. I think Catherine's piece in this whole series being the writer she is is just perfect. I think I want to be kidnapped now!!!!
And Anthony is like a broken child and I think it took Catherine to heal him. This author always has a great dialogue between characters and bringing in past characters to make this feel like on big running book. But these are also excellent stand alone books. This feels like a kick ass tv series, maybe that is next?!?!

I received this for a honest review. I have loved each and every book in this series but this by far is my favorite. This book can be read as a standalone so please do not worry if you have not read any of the other books in the series. This book is a dark romance.. Warning: you might need a box of tissue before you get done with this book.
Catherine was a woman that was missing something in her life. Something she did not ever realize she was missing. She had ratted out the Cassanos crime family and now was in the witness protection program. She was just starting to feel like she could breathe again.
Anthony was part of the Valetti Crime Family and he was hired by the Cassanos to take out a few hits. One of these hits was a female. Anthony had been watching Catherine for a while. She was everything he had dreamed of. She was a real submissive and knew she would be prefect for his sub. The problem was how was he going to keep Cassanos from killing her. How was he going to make her his.
I can to imagine what it was like for Catherine to find out she had been kidnapped and was going to be held against her will to be a slave for a man who wanted a submissive. Here she was playing the real part of the books she had read. The problem was this was real life.
I truly loved Anthony. Though a lot of people might of thought he was sick and twisted, I found him caring and compassionate to Catherine. He truly wanted to keep her safe. He wanted to bring out the hidden desires that he knew she had buried deep down within. They truly were perfect for each other.
Anthony will face some challenges. Not only will he upset his “family” aka mafia but he will also upset the Cassanos. Anthony will work on stripping Catherine down emotionally. Catherine will discover so much about herself. Once she has completely opened up is only then can she be truly free.

Best one yet
Ok, so I was a little afraid to read this one because I seen some of the one rated stars with conflicting thoughts on the book. Being forced is a hard concept to read about in any book, and believe me I'm very open with my reading material, So lets get to the grit of the book shall we. Catherine and Anthony's story was amazing, he did not rape nor hurt Catherine, in any way or form. I felt Catherine truly wanted everything Anthony wanted to give her and more, she wasn't so much scared of being taken, she was scared for a repeat with her ex, she had given trust to a man before and in return it blow up in her face badly. It was exactly what you read, a hard power of exchange, and a perfectly patient Dom who was up to the task. I loved this story to the fullest, and it is now my favorite book in the series. I have read some seriously terrible and hardcore Dom books in my time, where at one point I grow hate for the Dom character, they can be almost cruel and truly almost heartbreaking to read about. but this book wasn't like any ive read before. It was a delicious and tasteful fantasy, with a Dom to literally get hot for in every way, hes Caring and nurturing, and really the perfect Dom, he is exactly to me what a Dom is supposed to be, and I give it to the author for knowing the right way to write such a beautiful fantasy.

Wow! Color me impressed! This is my first time reading Willow Winters but I can say with utmost certainty, it won't be my last. Since I was unfamiliar with Winters' work, I had no idea what to expect...but holy moly...I was shocked, and I mean in a very good way! I thought Bad Boy would be just your ordinary contemporary bad boy mafia romance but I was dead wrong. Bad Boy was about as far from ordinary as you can get. It was one of the most deliciously depraved psychological crime dramas I've ever read... but it was also so much more. Bad Boy is a riveting, fast-paced, well-crafted and well edited standalone romance with a beautifully written clearly defined his and her first-person narrative. The dialogue is smart, raw, gritty, emotional, seductive, well executed and flows effortlessly. But without a doubt, my favorite element of this chilling tale is the compelling cast of characters. They are captivating, complex, well-developed, extremely engaging and sexy as sin. I was immediately drawn into this story by the two protagonists, handsome hitman Anthony Valetti, and Catherine, a beautiful online blogger/reviewer/aspiring writer who is in witness protection. Most people would assume the protagonist of a story would naturally be the hero, but Anthony Valetti is about as far from a hero as you can get. He's not even your typical redeemable antihero....he's dark, damaged and dangerous... an unfeeling cold-blooded monster... until he sees Catherine. And he was magnificent! Anthony has never been one of my favorite names...until now. I'll never be able to hear the name Anthony again without shivering in fear... and then promptly swooning! Oh my! It was FABULOUS! And poor Catherine, she was just a lonely young woman with no family looking for a little fun and wound up in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people... and it cost her everything including her life. But surprisingly, sweet good girl Catherine had a few secret kinks of her own. She may have made some poor life choices but she's far from stupid. She knew she had to play the game and the man if she wanted to live. She just never counted on falling in love with him. Falling for your captor is not exactly a new concept, but Willow Winters' take on the Stockholm Syndrome in Bad Boy was terrifyingly realistic and totally mesmerizing. But please remember, folks, this is fiction and meant to be enjoyed strictly as a little naughty afternoon fantasy. Let's face it, we've all had our own delightfully wicked little daydreams. lol... Guilty! Anthony and Catherine were absolutely perfect for each other and their sexual chemistry was so hot it sizzled. My heart broke for both of these two lost, lonely souls. No spoilers from me but if you're looking for an emotionally gripping, all-consuming, deliciously depraved mafia crime saga filled to the brim with heart-pounding danger, dark harrowing drama, spine-tingling suspense, agonizing heartache, gut-wrenching angst, dreamy romance, fiery passion and steamy sex with elements of BDSM, then this book is most definitely calling your name. Although there is graphic language, explicit sex, and some violent content, there is no rape or forced intercourse, at least none by Anthony Valetti. However, this book is most assuredly not for the meek of heart and I would recommend it for adults eighteen and older.

When I was reading this book and wow! Just when I thought the series could get any hotter! Here comes Anthony! This book is a heart pounding, breath taking ride. It has a guilty pleasure of wanting to be controlled. I was completely and utterly thrown by how much my thought took off after reading some of this book!

Anthony and Catherine
Anthony is the hit man for the Valettis and he’s also the Don, Vincent’s cousin. He has been given a hit of a beautiful woman and he doesn’t want to kill her. He asks Vince if it’s ok if he gives them a monetary offer to buy her as his slave. He describes it as BDSM. He doesn’t want to harm her he wants to make her his submissive. He says he’ll give her the choice of this or death. 3 weeks later Catherine feels like something is off but blames it on being superstitious. She had got caught in something she didn’t want to be tangled in and when she finally escaped she went to the cops for protection. That’s why she’s on Anthony’s hit list, she’s a nark and became a part of the witness protection program. She restarted her book review and blog life under a new name and lives alone in a cabin in the woods. She gets an email asking her about a smut book that she remembers well and I imagine this was from Anthony to see if she’d be into what he’s into. She makes herself cum and then she feels a sting in her neck and a figure tell her to go to sleep kitten. She wakes up in a cell and instantly knows that the Cassanos have her. But then she sees a figure she doesn’t recognize. He tells her that she’s supposed to die but he’d like to keep her as his. She tells him no and sees his erection she doesn’t want this. And then it switches to Catherine where they have hot sex and she accepts that he doesn’t want to talk about his heart to heart. He’s been more emotional since she’s been pregnant. But he finally confesses that Vince and his father told him how proud they are and how much they love her. I LOVED THIS BOOK AND IM SO GLAD IT HAD A HAPPY ENDING. Also Clara Vince and doms sister gets a book. Take me. So I am really excited to read that and prolly get more glimpses of them. I love how much we got to keep seeing of everyone throughout these books. I loved Anthony and Catherine’s Dom and sub complex. I felt like she caved super easily but that made it hot quick. Eccomi oggi con la recensione del libro BAD BOY della serie VALLETTI CRIME FAMILY #5 di Willow Winters. Ed eccoci arrivati al tanto atteso ultimo libro di questa bellissima serie, in ogni libro abbiamo scoperto di ogni componente di questa famiglia, ora tocca al nostro Anthony e Catherine. In questa storia vediamo un lato diverso del nostro temutissimo Anthony, la sua inclinazione per il bdsm, gli piace dominare e sottomettere, infatti ha trovato la ragazza giusta per questa sua indole, ma dietro questa inclinazione c’è una motivazione. Ora le carte stanno cambiando perché avrà un mese per stare con lei visto che hanno deciso la sua sorte. Mettendo a confronto questa storia con le altre diciamo che l’ho apprezzata un po meno, ma solo perché non fa per me il bdsm, ma comunque la storia è molto bella.. 4,5⭐️
Come detto nelle precedenti recensioni amo moltissimo la penna di Willow, mi fa provare sempre intense sensazioni e ti fa innamorare dei suoi personaggi. Non vedo l’ora di leggere qualche altra storia.

They wanted men to talk, he made them. They wanted men dead, he gets rid of them. Then they hired him to kill her. They thought he would do as he was told. They thought he would do his job. They thought wrong.
From the moment he sees her, he wants her. On her knees and submitting to his every command. So he gave her a choice....die, or be his. Now she belongs to him, he owns her. But there is another danger lurking out there, and they want to take her from him. That's not going to happen. She's his and he will kill any man who tries.
This was such an entertaining read for me. I absolutely loved it. Normally my level of enjoyment for bdsm is sort of around the middle, I'm not into heavy bdsm, clubs, etc. And I don't presume to know as much about it as others do, but this book was pretty much perfect for me. I loved the storyline, it was a bit of dark and a bit of light. Good balance. The characters were awesome. I loved Anthony, he has to be my favourite of this series so far. And I really liked Catherine as well, but I just found her a little too indecisive at times about things. I loved that they had such an intense and passionate relationship, it worked for them. This story is packed with drama, suspense, betrayal, kidnapping, and romance. So overall, a very exciting and entertaining read, with a side of sweet.
