Such a beautiful but painful read. Being able to relate but also compare symptoms, vascular and renal events, familial relationships and reactions. This was beautifully executed and i’m really pleased that others can relate and appreciate a glimpse of vEDS

I am really happy this person wrote their story. I think writing is for everyone and he has a lot to share.

That said, if you are an avid reader, have a public health background, and are looking for something that is substantial - this is not it.

I can't recommend this book highly enough for everyone not only those affected by vEDS. I was hooked from the beginning. It offers a rare insight into life with a rare disease and the emotions that go with it. The writing style is superb and feels as if you are talking to David Malarkey over a cup of tea rather than reading words on a page.
This book definitely deserves 5 stars.

Liked the story, definitely a voice for something I suffer from as well, and no one talks about or has even heard of- and I still learned a lot about it even though my vEDS diagnosis came almost 7 years ago, interesting thought processes and viewpoints, editing needed so I couldn't give it a 5, but would love to collaborate with this guy and write for vEDS.
