*** Terrific, exciting, sexy, unexpected, and timely ! ***
We see a glimpse of Suz and her work.

She's Tanner's twin sister.
Tanner is a closeted Army warrior who is delivered blindfolded to Wild Bluff Ranch's compound. The month long specialized training is over and he's on edge.

The meeting goes well until he's asked if he has issues with gay men. He sat down and his story poured out of his mouth. Justice will be served. With that weight off his heart, Tanner feels relief.

Meanwhile his sister, Suz, former Navy, now FBI operative, is in trouble deep. She's rescued by the team and a new mission is a must.
It's tricky, dangerous, and critically important.

This is a fast paced mission that holds our attention as we are on the edge of our seats. We are shown how this team operates; disguises, alternate routes and plans in place, plus violence and escape. Matthew uses his superior sniper skill.

He and Jazz are more solid than ever. We get to see their conversations and concerns, but mostly their total devotion. We see and learn tips for sexual aides and attitudes that enrich their lovemaking with Jazz's physical limitations.

Yes, as all books in this series, it is a cliffhanger, but some situations are resolved. Each tale can stand alone, but we are happier if we know these men from their ongoing past stories. Next up, Colorado Heat, book 8.
I love these guys more in each book; as they mature, use their expertise for good, and love deeply.
Totally recommend. ENJOY !

And Now For Something Completely Unexpected

A woman invades the world of Wild Bluff! Ah, relax. It's Suzanne, the twin sister of the operation's newest recruit, Tanner, and how both of them wind up at the ranch is a bit of a hoot--with a lot of drama and violence along the way.

Why Tanner is there--and why he has always struggled with his sexual preferences--is quite a twist, and part of it will leave a sickening blow in your heart. But how Suz comes into the picture, and how the men of Wild Bluff react to both her presence and her predicament (which is horrifying in scope) is exciting--and at times a hoot.

There are some holes in the narrative when it comes to the main mission of the book, but you can fill in the blanks from your imagination and your faith in Sara York's ability to ties it all up in a nice package at the end.

Except, this is not the end....

Sara York does it again

This is the 7th book in the Colorado Heart series and it is just as good as the rest. This time the Wild Bluff crew face their most important and dangerous mission - the life of the President is on the line and it's up to them to save him. I was on the edge of my seat wanted to find out what happened and that all the boys where safe. It's great to find out more about their lives and the introduction of two new characters was well done. Can't wait to read the next book.

So good!

What I love best about Sara York's books is how complex her characters are. There is true depth to them and none of the stereotypes. Add to that, you get a well thought out storyline that hooks you in and has you eagerly awaiting the next book. While you do get the initial case solved, there is a continuation of an issue that carries to the next one. Can't wait to see how things develop with Mike, Tanner, and Suz.

A culmination of lives.

Sarah York has carefully woven the stories of the men of Wild Bluff into a saga that is both compelling and deeply satisfying. The levels of emotions that run through her books makes for compelling reading. While always satisfied at the completion of each book, I always look forward to the next book and the next instalment of the saga.
Each character and each storyline is well developed and well written. As the characters unfold, the stories Five a family brought together by experience and a deep seated belief in justice and what's innately right.
This book book is the culmination of the last three books, 5, 6 and 7. The storylines from each book seem to come together here and yet leave the groundwork for the next book.
Five stars for both this book and the previous two. *****

Jesus I love these men. Love this series. Nothing sexier then men with honor, love, loyalty, devotion, character. Everyone single guy at this Ranch knows the true meaning of a hero. They are a true family, some struggling, some broken , but that doesn't matter. They are family through and through. Love the Suz twist, this should be exciting. And I can't wait to see where you take Tanner.

Great

I can't believe it. A girl in the story! In my review of book 6 I said they needed at least 1 kick butt girl. I start reading this one and immediately there's a girl. Loved that.
