Murmuring Cove

Perilous secrets push Bay Rutherford to seek employment and a quiet life for her family at her ancestral home, Briarleigh. It becomes evident that, even there, determined enemies threaten her peace of mind. But, once she hears the murmurs on the wind, will she follow their promptings? After an altercation, Flight Medic, Mack Blackwell, is given a leave of absence. He returns to his hometown of Sugar Land to help his uncle restore and open the town's first Inn, Briarleigh. Yet, building a new life out of the mistakes of the old he soon finds out is anything but easy.

I loved this beautiful story of falle2n, imperfect people and how their lives were impacted by God's loving Grace. Annie Cole relays the timeless message of God's love in a fresh way. She grapples with difficult topics with a compassionate sensitvity. This book will stir your heart.

A very enjoyable read. Loved the faith in God the characters held or came to hold in this book. It was not preachy but faith was a part of the characters lives. Being from the south and having visited Louisiana made it fun to read as well.
