Marcus Wellington, I hated you in book 1. I really did. The way you treated Madison was downright doubebaggery! I was wishing you got hit by a bus, or caught a life-threatening disease or something! I disliked you something fierce.
But oh man, you were redeemed in my eyes! There's nothing better than a bad boy that get knocked out by love. And I loved seeing you get knocked on your ass by sweet, sassy and sexy Yasmine.
This was a hot, fast-paced, sexy read. Although it wasn't a 5 star for me it was still very much enjoyable and I like how this author stories keeps getting better and better. I'm definitely excited to see what else she has up her sleeve.

Loved loved loved this fighter romance! I enjoyed the first book, but I liked this one even better! Super hot, intense (because people don't seem to understand that honesty is the best policy!), and really romantic. I love books where the player meets his match. This book did not disappoint! Looking forward to more from this author!!
I'm going to be the first to admit I HATED Marcus in the first book, and I figured there was NO WAY I could ever like him as the hero.
I'll also be the first to admit that I was dead ass wrong and A. Cramton made me a lover of "Marcus Fucking Wellington." Of course it helps that we are seeing his POV in this story, so it makes him easier to sympathize with. Plus he actually takes accountability for his actions in False Illusions. So after all that... I admit I am in love with him. Gimmie some of that mixed hottie, yum.
Yasmine is sassy, she's smart, and she's sexy. All the things I love in a heroine. Even though she knows being with Marcus is wrong for so many reasons, she knows it feels right so she goes with it. I love that she goes for what she wants.
I don't want to spoil anything so what I will say is, their first encounters are so friggen' sweet. Marcus is so funny when he's chasing Yas. And Yas is so blunt at times I was cracking up. She is written so well I feel like she's one of my friends come to life in a book. That first kiss though... so sweet and hot at the same time. *heart eyes*
The sex is hot, the relationship is crazy, the happenings can be OTT, and the shit eventually hits the fan... but it was such a fun read. It was a dang page turner. I wanted to know what was going to happen, and I couldn't get enough once things started happening.
Of course we see our favorite first couple Madi and El, we don't get a lot of them, but what we get is good. Something is up with them, hmm find out more in book three with Emma and Chris's story maybe?!?
All in all a great read! I also love that the characters were mixed race and Dominican. I mean it wasn't a big part of the story, but still loved it!
Also the playlist is AMAZING :)

Well after reading this book Marcus has redeemed himself in my eyes. I understand him a hell of alot better now. I no I don't Condone his cheating on Madison it was wrong on every level. But once she read this and understand there relationship you will probably see him in a different light. Yasmin this girl has alot of courage and heart. I adore her. She put her heart on the line and risked everything!!
I love A.Cramton so much for redeeming Marcus. Because I wanted to choke him out in book 1. In False Intentions you get a closer look at why he was the way he was, I caught some serious feels for him. He's this sexy, confident guy, with mad swag. Yep, all the feels. But when he meets Yasmine, who is equally as sexy, confident, who pretty much isn't on Marcus Wellington's fan train. She takes, "I'm not interested," to a whole other level and Marcus just doesn't know how to handle that.
" My first reaction is to say something rude but I'm trying to be a better person." - Marcus
"She cleary is sheltered, that's what I'm telling myself." - Marcus
Hahaha!! I love that the author gave these characters such real personalities. She had me laughing at loud at their push and pull. Their attraction for one another was intense and I loved every minute.
I also loved how the author intertwined characters from the previous book. She did a great job bringing everything full circle.
I can't wait for book 3 because Em & Chris need their own book :)
Marcus was an ass until he met Yasmine. I love a good bad boy redemption story! Bad boys make better boyfriends. Marcus was a monster in book 1... and totally marriage material in book 2. I dont know how A. Cramton did it, but she did. I need more!
I received an ARC of this book through a giveaway from the author.
False Intentions (False Series book two)
A Cramton
Marcus has come up with a plan to get his life back. He's set up a rematch against Yoel. He's procured an apartment not far from Madison’s, and he plans to win her back if only so he can have his old life. Yasmine is moving to New York a few months before her school starts. What she doesn't count on is sitting next to Marcus on the plane and continually running into him. She feels tremendous guilt over her attraction to her brother’s rival and her soon to be sister-in-law’s cheating ex.
When Marcus shows her a completely different side of him that no one knew existed, though, she can't help her curiosity. She promises herself it will only be one night, but one turns into two, two turns into three, and so on, but while they are quickly falling for each other, she still hasn't told him who she really is. When he finds out, will he be able to look past it? When Yoel and Madison learn who she’s been seeing all this time, how will they react?
Book two in a series. Sports romance with a HEA. Mature audiences only.
I really didn't know where this book was going to go once I saw it was about Marcus. You know, he's this big, bad, cheating fiancé in the first book, but we see a whole new Marcus in this book, and we get inside his head on why he cheated all that time (not that there's ever an excuse for cheating, but it was nice to see why he did it). I grew to actually really like Marcus in this book.
My favorite scene, hands down, was Yasmine lighting ALL of Marcus’ boxing paraphernalia on fire in the middle of his apartment when she thought he’d cheated on her! I about died laughing.
I had a hard time looking past the cheating aspect in the first book, so I'm really glad this didn't have that. I loved this book, though. I don't know if there are plans for any others after this one, but I'm not sure if they could beat it!
Did not think I would enjoy this book because I was NOT a fan of Marcus at all. But A. Cramton completely made me fall in love with Marcus. This book was sexy, funny, and at times it was a little emotional. Definitely a must read.
******ARC RECEIVED FOR HONEST REVIEW****** ******4.5 star*******
Marcus has lost the championship belt and his finacee to his rival, Yoel Gonzalez. After wallowing for a couple of months he is determined to get back what he believes are rightfully his. When he goes to a club for the night out he didn’t expect to meet Yasmine. Yasmine is opposite of what Marcus is usually attracted to but there is something about her that makes him want to talk to her. When he tries to talk to her and she quickly shuts him down, he is even more intrigued by her. When a chance encounter brings them back together, Marcus knows this time he’ll be able to get Yasmine in his bed but what he didn’t expect was to start having feelings for her. Yasmine knows starting something with Marcus is out of the question but she can’t stop her attraction for him and she can’t seem to stay away. But what Marcus doesn’t know is Yasmine is keeping a secret. She knows she has to tell Marcus but this secret has the potential to destroy the relationship not only with Marcus but with the people she loves and care about. Will this secret break them? Or will they be able to weather the storm?
I love Yasmine. She was sassy and she called Marcus out when she needed to. She wasn’t a pushover and definitely gave him a run for his money.
After reading the first book, False Illusions, I never imagined that I would like Marcus since he was such a douche canoe in that book. But False Intention your able learn more about Marcus as a person. He’s reasoning for acting like as asshat with Madison was childish but you understand why he acted that way. And Yasmine made him work for her attention, something that Marcus never had to do before.
I love the way A. Cramton writes her stories. Told in dual POV, each chapter is a song title and it ties in very well with the story. I definitely downloaded a couple of the songs. I can't help but root for Marcus and Yasmine. I’m really enjoying this series. And can’t wait for the next book!
Oh Marcus...Marcus...Marcus! You sexy beast. This book killed me all over. I devoured every word and soaked up every moment. I seriously can't stop thinking about everything that is False Intentions. I can admit first going in I was skeptical about how I was going to feel about Marcus because of his attitude and his dick moves in False Impressions. But that wears no burying in this book because A. Cramton knew what she was doing when she set out to redeem Marcus. Because she did it with a dang. Yasmin has a good life. She has a great family and a brother that loves her unconditionally. She's about to start classes for school, so she moves down to New York, to be with her brother as she gets her feet wet before starting school. She couldn't be more excited. One night at a birthday party she sees Marcus Wellington...in the flesh. She knows all about his manwhore ways and how she's to stay away from him. He's no good. But he has no clue who she is or who her brother is. As the story unfolds more and her and Marcus get close. She sees a side of him that most people don't get to see...the side that isn't told in the magazines. And she finds herself falling for him. As mush as she tried to stay away, she can't. Marcus just wants to take back his life. Get his championship back and get his girl back. He wants everything back. But that starts to change a little bit when he meets Yasmin. She's sexy and real with him. She doesn't want his money or even a quick lay. She doesn't want anything to do with him but he's about to change that. But will the secrets she's been keeping explode in his face and destroy everything they've built or will she lie forever? This story was truly perfect. I loved the dialogue, there sexy/fun relationship, and everything about the story was breathless. I'm looking forward to reading more in the series.
EEEK. This is one of the forbidden kinda books. Ya know the one where youre not supposed to hook up with a friends ex? Or your brothers enemy? Yep. Its one of those. Its a little taboo and a lot hot. I was so pissed at Marcus in book one that I thought there was NO WAY he could redeem himself. Well guess what?! I was wrong. I ended up falling for this asshole anyway. But that's okay... You will finally understand why he is the way he is.
Yasmine is a sassy little thing. I love her! This girl holds nothing back! Welllllll..... except for one thing. Youll just have to read and find out what that is. Cause its a little major! I really liked how she was just blunt with Marcus. She shot him down and didn't think twice about it. It was refreshing. But he is a sexy beast and a woman can only resist so much.
I really enjoyed their story. It was funny, intense, and really freakin hot. It was a good read with no major angst or drama. Just a little taboo and whole lot of hot!

Before I jumped in, I made sure to check out False Illusions, the first of the duo/series. It really felt necessary once I started the second, so much would have been confusing had I not read the first one.
Illusions was a bit choppy but I loved El and Madison and how their story played out. Intentions was a mirror image in good and bad ways. The romance between Yas and Marcus is sweeter than I expected, given the picture painted of Marcus in Illusions. He becomes very involved with Yas very fast but Cramton makes it believable enough. I did think the story felt a little too similar in plot and pacing but since I enjoyed the first, it just meant I would enjoy this one.
Great heat and sweet moments, just like the original. Only lacking something truly fresh, but it's still a good read.
Marcus, Marcus, Marcus I did not like you in False Illusions and even though you were still kind of a jerk, I loved you in this book!!
This is about Marcus and Yasmin. If you read False Illusions then you know Marcus is Madison's ex and Yas is Yoel's little sister. This is a double forbidden type of relationship! Brothers enemy and ex's friend! I honestly didn't think that Marcus could redeem himself but he definitely did! I still don't like that he cheated on Madison but after reading his side of the relationship, it made a little more sense. I loved Yas and her feistiness. I loved their relationship and the sex scenes were so hot!! I loved this book!
Loved this book from start to finish! I believe it takes a great writer to make you hate a character in book one and fall in love with him in book two. Marcus Wellington was a cheating jerk. The only thing that mattered to him was him his boxing career and regaining his title from the man that took his belt and stole hid fiance. His only goal is to get it all back until he meets Yasmine. His heart begins to overtake his ego. Yet she holds a secret that can destroy everyone she loves. Amazing second story from A. Cramton. Looking forward to more!
Absolutely loved this book! Marcus may have been hated in book 1 but he's definitely a lover on this one. Total Alpha and in love with Yasmine. I love her craziness and jealous outbreaks and I totally loved them together. TEAM MARCUS!
I LOVED THIS BOOK! I was already a fan after reading book 1 but I absolutely love Marcus and Yas in this book! And I LOVED that we still got a little peak of El and Madison.
This book was nothing that I thought was going to be, it was better. After I read book one and the ending I really thought book two was going to be about them, however this one is following Marcus. He was painted a jerk and a cheat in book one and I was so wrong. He is a character during this book I fell in love with. He was kind and loving and just a very strong guy. I love how the stories interlocked in this book. We were not left hanging and not getting any closure. I am glad this book did not end with a cliff hanger. At the end we had a great closure on both books.
Very strong writer and will read more of her books. I enjoyed this one as much as the second one. There is nothing negative to say. She hooks us from chapter one and you will not want to put this down.
I wondered how this was gonna play out after the first book. And it played put beautifully.
I loved how what was the antagonist of the first book became the protagonist of this book. It kept me on my toes because I didn't know how any of it would turn out.
I was hesitant to read this continuation after learning who the point of views were. But I kept at it, and was pleasantly surprised. False Intentions is the story of basically everyone has their own side to the story. It helped me understand the character more. I wasn't convinced though, that Yas would do that to her brother/future sister-in-law - so that part was slightly not too realistic. But I'm sure it happens, so I tried to overlook that. Because, when you fall in love, it's not always the person you assume it will be with. Love doesn't know the inner workings of conflict.
Overall, the story was told great. The big fight was more exciting in this book and I enjoyed the detail. The steaminess of the book was also up there and hot! I look forward to reading more from this author!

We met Marcus in the first book, False Illusion and I can say with absolute certainty that we all probably wanted to kick him in the d!ck for the way he acted. So you have to love fate when it throws Yasmine into his life.
Yasmine knows who Marcus is from the beginning but is unable to ignore the magnetic pull she has to him. Marcus shows another side to himself that no other women has seen, even his ex-financeè.
I devoured this book and absolutely loved it! I even fell in love with Marcus! I actually ugly cried at one point in the book and became invested in these characters!
Marcus Wellington has had a few crappy months since he lost his girl and his title to his rival. He wants them both back and is trying to figure out how to do that when he sees a woman in an LA club who won't give him the time of day. One chance meeting at a club and the events that unfold after it change everything Marcus knows. Can he get his title and girl back, or do his priorities change as he does? Find out in this awesome read!!!
Loved that we got Marcus's story. I'm sorry but I still don't like Marcus. I loved Yas though. She brought so much to the story with her feisty personality. Loved how the story turned out but still wished we had more of Madison and Yoel. I probably like them too much. I can't wait to read more from A. Cramton
Marcus wants his old life back. Does he really want it all, the belt, the fiancee, and the title or just he just want to be on top. As he sets out to do this their is a roadblock. A dark eyed beauty that when he wants more than one night with her it messes with his head and heart. Yas know that she is treading in forbidden territory. She thinks just one night with him and she will get him out of her system. She is so wrong. This is a forbidden love story that had so many twists and turns. As I read on I thought it would be impossible for Yas and Marcus to have an happy ending. It was a nail biting read that will have you running a rampant of emotions.
