Dominant Skin Walker, Monroe StoneCrow’s mate, Eden, has been injured in an attack on the Estate. Not only does Eden not have any memory of Monroe or their children, but she believes she is in a relationship with another and is asking that the man be brought to the Estate. For the good of his Angel, Monroe will comply with doctor’s orders to acquiesce to Eden’s wishes; however, watching another male soothe his mate just might prove to be the one thing Monroe is unequipped to handle, especially while his Estate is still reeling.

After receiving a call that one of his females has been marked by the enemy Megalya, Monroe orders Walker Sentry, Delain, to take Harlow EnemyHunter from the Estate and claim her. Harlow belongs to another Walker though and opting to keep Commander Remy McCabe’s claim on her a secret could be the worst mistake Harlow’s ever made. Now, her only hope is that Remy will return to the Estate and find her in time.

My pack territory is in Central Montana, between Stone Crow Estates and the North Fortress. Born and raised in an untamed location that bridges the gap between rolling prairies and majestic mountain peaks, I am born to a family that also bridges the gap between cultures. My father’s people boast a fiercely proud Scandinavian ancestry while my mother’s tribes descend from two savagely beautiful and unique nations (White Clay and Nakoda) that inspire my Skin Walker series.

I'm a huge fan of MMA, boxing, 30 Seconds to Mars, DMX, Nahko and Medicine for the People, and 21 Pilots (“…sometimes quiet is violent”). I also love to read because it encourages me to write. (I hate it when authors add that they love coffee and chocolate. Really? Who doesn't love coffee and chocolate?) Anyway, I love beer...kidding. I don't love beer but we are engaged in a very serious relationship. (Mom, please don't call me when you read this.)

Please leave feedback….well, only if it’s positive. “Keep in mind that I’m an artist and I’m sensitive about my shit!  (Erykah Badu lyrics!)

No new couples were introduced in this, but it instead focused on the aftermath from the attack. A great read and I got to see some of my favourite couples from previous books.

You know those episodes of shows that are just "filler" episodes? No substance, no real progress, nothing really happens in it & it's just an episode that isn't needed but aired anyway?

Well, meet the equivalent. The "filler" book. A book with a story that has no substance, no real progress, nothing really happens, not really needed and yet, here it is. For $3.99.

I'm almost tempted to return it for a full refund because I'm pissed that I paid $3.99 for this "filler" book. Also? Still no sign of Mason's story nor of Bishop's story on her website. Next two books are about other characters, according to her blog post yesterday.

From her blog:

What’s next for the Skin Walkers….Hmm, (tapping my chin) I do believe Bellis StCroix is running around with a special package that belongs to Monroe. Also, gone on a “special” mission, Legion isn’t even aware of the attack on the Estate. He better get his @ss home soon!

Great Follow Up Book

In a prior book the compound had been attacked and it was noted the Domina was hurt. This book goes into detail of that event and the devastating impact on Monroe and Eden and their children. Also this book completes the story of Remy and his Angel, who nobody knew about. In his grief the Dominant nearly destroys Remy's chance at happiness. It will be up to Remy to find his Angel before it is too late. This was a great book. Two love stories for the price of one. Cannot wait for the next book.

This was a great book that is about two different walkers losing their Angels in different ways and what they have to do to get them back. The battles and pain each character goes through and the fight they will battle to win their loved ones back... this was such a fantastic read..

StoneCrow was under attack by the Megalya. So many people were hurt and injured, even Eden (the Dominia). Because of a head injury she lost her memory from the past few years. Not knowing Monroe, her children, Stonecrow, or even skinwalkers.
Monroe cant believe Eden doesnt remember him, worse is the fact she believes she is dating another man. Monroe has to watch and deal with another man talking and touching his Angel.
Eden doesnt recognized these people she is having to be around, but for some reason she feels something for Monroe. She does not know what to make of it all but she knows something is not right..

Remi has found his Angel but has not had the chance yet to fully claim his mate for having to join his team in searching for the missing keeper and sentry who were taken by the Magalya. He and Harlow plan on completing the mating when he returns but while he is gone Monroe finds out Harlow is in danger, not knowing she is partly claimed he sends another walker to mate and claim her. When Remi returns be can not believe his Angel was sent away with another Walker to ve claimes, he will not let that happen and will do everything to get his Angel back.

Finally my HEA! Not only that, I got two. TWO! Because I am re-reading this series I read a couple of reviews on Amazon, and dang are we all over the place. Loved it hated it! Sometimes it isn't the book that they hate it is actually the characters within. To me, that means the writer is doing her job well. I have not liked a couple of books because I didn't really like the characters or a character in it. The writing was as always, above par, the emotion between Monroe and Eden high, and the urgency for Remy and Harlow intense. Poor Delain ;(
When a series goes for this long, there is always a book or two that just ties up loose ends. And with this author because of the way she is writing the books, what we, as reader's think are out of order, books like this needs to written. This is an amazing world, and as always, well worth your time and $$

Disasters of the heart

The author has really outdone herself with this book. She brought two intersecting storylines together and ran with them. Both are so emotional that they brought tears to my eyes and both had the edge of danger and action that I have come to expect from her Walkers. I love how she kept me guessing at the outcome with every turn of the page and the ending is absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to read the next installment in this series.

Angel Lost is not the strongest book in the skin walkers series

While I have enjoyed the Skin Walker books, this was not my favourite. The books are readable and perfect for those days where you don't want a heavy novel. On a separate note I really really hate when authors make silly grammatical errors. The past tense of 'drag' as in she was dragged out of or into a place is not 'drug' no no no she was not drug out of the building! This is a mistake in a couple of the books. When I read something like: she was drug out of... I want to just scream. I have on the whole enjoyed the books, but a little more care would have made these books great.

I loved it.

The story was very fast paced. It focused on two couples but mainly Monroe and Eden. It so was intense not knowing if Eden would get her memory back and Monroe and the kids worried about her. Then Monroe does the unthinkable and give Remy's mate to someone else. It just kept getting better. And Monroe finally has the traitor. Who will it be. The only thing I would like to have seen more of was when Harley was with the other male. I like to know what was said and done there. Looking forward to the next one

Hmmmm, what can I say about this book? It just seems to be a remake of book 7 of the series. Yeah, it's a tad bit different but shrug.....we already heard their story why do it again? The only real purpose of this story was to push the entire series forward. It seems like she half ass-ed this one. If she wanted to move the story forward she could have done it with some new characters. Oh well. Maybe in the next book we'll get to know some new people.

Good Stuff.

I've read all of the Skin Walkers to date and have enjoyed them all. Lost Angel is just as good as the ones that came before. I enjoy seeing Monroe's emotional side also. He is the perfect Alpha.

All over

I usually love all of Susan Blilers books but I wasn't feeling this one. It was too quick with too many characters and too much happening at once. I was left feeling rushed with the whole thing

So yummy!

Alpha overload and loving it. At first I didn't like how two stories where combined into one book but it was long enough to get a full delve into both. Loved it.
