One former Navy SEAL. One woman in search of her kidnapped brother. One ancient lost city in the cloud forests of the Andes.

Former Navy SEAL Logan O'Connor is big, rough, and a little wild. He thrived as a SEAL...until he trusted the wrong woman. After a horrible betrayal that almost left him dead, he now works for his best friend at Treasure Hunter Security. He doesn't like the sand, the jungle, or the mosquitoes, but he gets the job done--protecting archeological digs and expeditions. What he likes even less are liars. As he finds himself heading to Peru with a cool, classy CEO in search of her kidnapped brother, Logan knows one thing: Sydney Granger isn't telling him the entire truth.

After the death of her father, Sydney is trying to learn the ropes as CEO of Granger Industries while her brother runs off to research a pre-Incan culture. But one ransom demand leaves her terrified¬--a lethal black-market antiquities syndicate has kidnapped her brother. The only people she can turn to is Treasure Hunter Security, and that includes big, annoying Logan, who makes it clear he doesn't like her.

As they are swept into a deadly adventure into the cloud forests of the Andes, tracing the steps of the mysterious Warriors of the Clouds, danger dogs their every step. Logan and Sydney are drawn closer together, secrets are uncovered, shots are fired, and both of them might just find something more valuable than treasure in the depths of the forests.

Note to readers: This action-adventure romance contains a lot of action (think treasure hunts and a wild race into the Andes mountains), cool offsiders (sexy former Navy SEALs) and a steamy romance (lots of sexy times between a former SEAL and a classy CEO). This is treasure hunting Navy SEAL style. So if you like it fast, and fun, and sexy, this is for you!

I confirm what I said in my review of the previous book (#2): these books are wayyyy too short. It would be much better if they're longer giving the author time to develop the characters, the story and everything in between!

This is not as bad as the #1 and comes on the same level and #2.

The story is interesting: the heroine, Sydney, is looking for her vanished brother who was looking for a extinct pre-Incan culture in South America with the help of THS.

Sydney is cool, composed, an ideal CEO of a big company. Logan is everything Sydney is not: unkept, rough, wild. But, as they say: opposites attracts! LOL

Obviously, there're some unsavory characters who want to kidnap Sydney, who shot at the team, unabush them and threaten them. The pace is fast and furious as usual.

All in all an enjoyable short read!

This one was fun, but honestly too fast and short. Things felt like they happened over the course of 2 days, and for the H/h to go from deeply disliking each other to in love was a stretch.

But the adventure was fun!

Unexplored is the third book in the Treasure Hunter Security series and what a series it is.

Action, suspense, mystery, danger and romance are just some of what to expect when diving into one of Anna's books. Don't forget the humour. Logan just cracked me up with the things he hates. The treasure hunters are called upon when protection is needed and ancient artifacts are sort after but they go into alpha mode when trying to protect.

But let's not forget the sexy, alpha men and women who protect and find their someone else even though they are players beforehand.

A great read for some much needed me time.

Well the Treasure Hunters Security gang are back and this time it's the somewhat hirsute Logan who steps up. Although admittedly he does struggle to understand their latest client Sydney. Cool, aloof and very much in control Sydney needs help as her brother is missing and yet again the villainous Silk Road seem to be involved. So into the humid sticky jungle of Peru they go but what they find is not at all what they expected . The hunters become the hunted in a race to find a treasure that turns out to be quite a knotty problem!
With this series I've mentally journied to Egypt, Cambodia and now Peru. It's a straightforward romance in many ways with characters easily accepting the attraction between them although admittedly Logan had issues with trust. However it's the historical and archeological details that enthral me. I'm constantly finding myself googling places and now I want to visit the land of the Cloud Warriors but alas that journey will have to wait. If honest I thought the ending of the first book Undiscovered perhaps a little too fanciful but loved what the author does here because who knows what secrets lie waiting in the jungle Still there are at least three more members of THS with stories to tell and if they are as entertaining as this book I will be a very happy reader

I love me some grumpy heroes, man. LOVE THEM. Logan certainly fits the grumpy bill. He's quick to jump to conclusions when he first meets Sydney and he's not afraid to be a little growly around her.

Oh course, being cranky doesn't stop him from noticing that they have some unexpected chemistry together. His scowls do an excellent job of warning the others off, too.

GRUMPY HEROES! YESSSSS!

Balancing out Logan's rough edges is Sydney. She's...not entirely what she seems at first glance. She may seem like a bored socialite with ice in her veins, but Logan riles her up fast enough that her icy mask drops quickly and the two of them are going toe to toe.

I like a woman who can hold her own in every situation.

This series is fun. We have mysterious locales and dangerous situations. And then there are the sexy couples steaming up the sheets. Or wherever it is they happen to get it on. *thumbs up*

It was the classic Mrs Anna Hackett’s story with like every time a little twist to add suspens and mystery to the story.
Logan is the brooding sort alpha hero, he was used and betrayed by a woman, since he can’t find in him to trust one again.
Sydney has learned to put a mask on her face, hiding her feeling and who she really is from her family and all those around her, so much it has become a second nature for her and she appears as an ice queen.
The plot brings them together in what should be an out of her usual path road for Sydney but she keeps up and it intrigues Logan, he soo realizes she is not what she seems to be.
This story is their journey to trust another as they have secrets and wounds.

UPDATE: this was an audio re-read for me with an UPDATED 4-4.5 Satisfied Stars review.
I recently purchased the audio version of UNEXPLORED as part of a books 1-3 set. My husband and I listened together over the course of a few weeks, a chapter at a time, with cups of coffee on our deck. Stella Bloom voices the books in the Treasure Hunter Security novels well and we both were very satisfied. Treasure Hunter Security series, read by Stella Bloom, gets his stamp of approval. He said the novels are fairly realistic (preferring them over the Amelia Peabody Mysteries we listened to earlier) and he enjoys the “sexy” bits. 😉 I love the action & adventure “Indy Jones style” of this series and am happy “Going along for the Ride.” We’ve just completed the 1st 3 books and although I own this series in e-format already, am considering purchasing additional THS audios.

MY RATING GUIDE: 1= dnf/What was that?; 2= Nope, not for me; 3= This was okay/cute; 3.5= I enjoyed it; 4= WE LIKED IT A LOT; 5= We loved it!; it was great! (I rarely give 5 Stars).

Logan O’Connor/MMC is best friend, once SEAL team buddy, and now full time team member for Declan Ward’s Treasure Hunter Securities private security consultants company. Logan and a few other team members are sent on a job into the thick jungles and mountains of the Andes Cloud forest to protect a wealthy and very connected East Coast business owner. Their client, CEO Sydney Granger/FMC, has requested their aid as she searches for her kidnapped brother, a historian and ancient cultures anthropology expert in the Andes mountains. It soon becomes apparent that the kidnappers are part of a black market antiquities mercenary group that THS has dealt with before. The gang kills indiscriminately and are known for their greed and utter ruthlessness. Logan and the team must locate Sydney’s brother, and then somehow retrieve him.

UNEXPLORED, bk #3 in the TREASURE HUNTER SECURITY series, reads like an action-filled Indiana Jones novel but with 2 protagonists sharing the action - Logan O’Connor is teasingly called Wild Man and Grumpy Pants by the women on his team. A retired military SEAL, Logan is large and tough, a smart alpha male who prefers action over words. He is not impressed with their client, Sydney Granger. His first impression is that she is nothing more than a beautiful but spoiled, rich East Coast society woman. He has little patience for her. Sydney correctly identifies Logan’s opinion of her. In high-society circles and as a woman CEO, she has been judged before but it has made her strong. Sydney is determined to find her brother, and she has a few surprises of her own.

I really enjoyed UNEXPLORED. It was fast reading, angst-free, high-octane adventure into the jungles and high plateau ruins of the Andes mountains. I recommended it for anyone* who enjoys Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, or Relic Hunter escapades, and/or enjoys reading novels with romance, HEAs and plenty of action & adventure. UNEXPLORED can be read as a standalone title as there are no cliffhangers and it has a complete HEA but the secondary characters continue to overlap from books #1 & 2 and throughout the series. Each story is best enjoyed read in order. I look forward to reading UNFATHOMED/#4 featuring a new adventure with the TREASURE HUNTER SECURITY team.

Anna Hackett has authored action-adventure romance novels in a variety of genres - contemporary, paranormal, dystopian, and space opera/alien. Treasure Hunter Security is her contemporary romance series. I find them all DELIGHTFUL!

Reader Cautions* -

VIOLENCE - Yes. This is an action-adventure novel with Bad Guys - hand-to-hand battles, and gun fights but not described in a dark, gruesome, or graphic fashion. Think Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider.
SEXUAL SITUATIONS - Yes. The 2 main characters’ growing attraction develops rather quickly into steamy intimacy.
PROFANITY - Yes. Strong language used - former military.

Not recommended for readers who prefer Clean fiction or for YA.

2.5 stars.

The Treasure Hunter Security squad are back, and this time it’s Peru! But don’t pack your gear for the Incan trail just yet, because we won’t be visiting Machu Pichu. Instead the archeology here is all about the pre-Incan Chachapoya, also known as the Warriors of the Clouds, and the action follows a set of hidden clues that should hopefully lead to a missing brother as well as hidden treasure and plenty of danger.

The archeology is what I love best about this series, and the sense of place each book manages to capture as the action jets to a different part of the globe each time. It’s not just pretty set dressing, the culture and landscape play an integral part in the action, and I really enjoyed this aspect of the novella.

Sadly, I can’t say the same about the rest of it. I didn’t like Logan at all, found Sydney pretty forgettable and had a few issues with certain moments of the plot. I get that Logan has trust issues, and very good reasons for those, but the way he treats Sydney is awful. First he dismisses her as an ice princess who doesn’t feel anything, then he demands she give him her full life story. He knows nothing about her or what she might have been through in life that could have made her the person she is, but still, he feels entitled enough to demand and intimidate her life story out of her. Not cool. He didn’t improve enough for me to ever like him, so I have no idea what Sydney sees in him – other than instant attraction.

And it is instant. This is a short read that takes place over a short amount of time and is packed with travelling and action. These two are thrown together and somehow that’s love. I’m not convinced.

Nor am I convinced that a quick Googling of Silk Road would bring up a few hazy stories of the secretive bad guys and a link to Treasure Hunter Security. Not without wading through a stack of stuff about the actual Silk Road, anyway (both historical and its current incarnation). Then there’s the incredible way Sydney manages to ride and trek for ten hours straight, yet still manage a marathon night of sex and is also able to walk without pain the next day. What kind of work is she doing as a CEO? That’s some serious training she must do during her time off. Throw in a bout of entirely unlikely sex during the danger, danger, we’re-all-going-to-die-if-we-don’t-run-away moment, and let’s just say this book didn’t really win me over. The end was also far too cheesy for me, not to mention wraps up far too quickly and conveniently.

Overall, if you’ve been loving the series so far, I’m pretty sure you’ll find plenty to enjoy here. Personally, though, this one didn’t quite work for me, but I’m still curious to see where these books head next.

'You ignite me Logan '

I didn't like this book as much as others in the series, not because there is anything wrong with it, simply because I found Sydney difficult to like.
I did however love Logan, a typical growly Alpha who has no idea how falling in love is possible! You cannot help but fall for him and his confusion.

Original review: https://myshelfbooks.wordpress.com/20...

2020 is going to be the year of this reader finishing all those series I have started and then forgotten about them. Yes, I know I said the same thing last year; but this one I have a good feeling about it. The amount of them is so big, that I know I won’t be able to fulfill this New Year Resolution; but I will do my best. Some of them are not going to be so hard, due to the length of their stories. One example is Treasure Hunter Security: short, to the point and very fast paced. Let’s see to what remote place we travel this time!

The heroine of this story is called Sydney, the new CEO of Granger Industries who is still learning the ropes of that job. Her life gets a bit more exciting when she receives a call from Silk Road telling her that they have kidnapped her brother and demand a lot of money in exchange for his release. A quick Google search shows Sydney that the natural enemy of the kidnappers is the company called Treasure Hunter Security. She doesn’t give the idea a second thought and runs to hire their help. There she meets Logan, an ex-SEAL and one of the most vaulable members of the security company. The soldier is grumpy and has trusting issues and zero problems to express them clearly. Will the adventures looking for the lost brother polish their differences or ruin the mission in the attempt? The answer is in Peru…

Before picking a book, you need to set your expectations for it at the right level. The books of the Treasure Hunter Security are not great books that you will remember your whole life, but they are awesome books to keep you fully entertain during the time it takes reading them. And that is a huge achievement. This third book is no exception. It’s action packed to its fullest, from one ruin to the next. From a shooting in a hotel, to a car chase to dangerous hikes and much, much more. I think the author calls it “action romance” and I couldn’t agree more. Yes, I know the story has its shortcomings and random small plot wholes now and them; but it is so easy-to-read and entertaining that dismissing them feels natural. Perfect book to read with a bowl of popcorns between your legs (unless you live with a hunk. In that case use him instead).

If there is something I LOVE about this saga are those cultural snippets the author gifts us in every story. It is not a Wikipedia article, though. The story is not drown with a sea of data to look smart. Just a few fragments to put the reader in situation and to pike their interest. This time we are presented with several details about the Chachapoyas, also known as the Cloud Warriors. I had never heard of them, but thanks to this book now I have several details to look cool among friends in a conversation about ancient ruins in Peru. I just have to drop the more outworldly details used in the story, or instead of cool I would look like a crazy person. All jokes aside, the fact that such a quick reading has still time to teach you something is remarkable and worthy of a warm applause.

Maybe, the weakest link of the story are its characters. They are not bad, but you could say they are “mass manufactured” ones. Nothing new in the genre. Just the proper traits to make them work in the setting chosen for the book. I must admit that Sydney has been the most enjoyable female counterpart from all the three I have read so far. She is not a damsel in distress like the ones we have in the previous books. She is quite capable of defending herself. As a result, we have been regaled with several unexpected and noteworthy action scenes. I was a lot more hesitant about Logan in the beginning. It even bothered me his grumpiness about Sydney not telling him everything. Are you serious, you big oaf? Are you trying to tell me that in order to trust a person you have just met that person has to spill all their secrets in front of you? That is a bit unnerving and idiotic. Thankfully, that stone heart of his softens rather quickly and he grows on me. The romance between those two characters is nothing for the history books, but it didn’t give me a headache trying to make sense of it.

Always a joy to read this kind of books. Anna Hackett’s style is just what the Doctor prescribed against boredom, so I will need to check more of her work. I’m not starting another saga by this author until I finish this one, though. Please, send me all the strength of will you can spare, because mine is easily distracted by hot covers.

Another formulaic addition to the series - read on KU

I don't love this series but I do like it more than taking a chance on another unknown book or author. These books are very predictable. You know what you will get and roughly the order it will come in. The MCs meet. They go on an expedition together, if that wasn't where they met, and within 48 to 120 hours they are declaring their love for one another because they are in mortal danger and are afraid they won't get to say it again. And just as they are about to die, some supernatural force or formerly thought to be extinct animal comes in to save the day. (Yes, this is a spoiler if you haven't read the prior books but if you have it isn't a spoiler; please know this happens through book 4, at least.) All the books end around the 85% mark, too. (I'm not a fan of this. It's so she can have a chapter or two of the next book at the end. Usually, this wouldn't take up as big of a percentage but these books are so short that it adds a fair bit to the book.)

There isn't much meat to the story at all. The author does just enough research to throw out some names of places and some people in history. It seems each book becomes less detailed.

The first definitely had far more than this one. Aside from the first book, she hasn't done enough research to make the books that adventurous. (Update after book 4, it did have a few more details than 2 and 3.)

And then there is the issue with the Silk Road. Firstly, in the US, an entity is treated as singular. So, the "Silk Road keeps..." not "keep." Similar errors are scattered throughout the series. I'm guessing this author is British or Australian since this is correct in British English but when you are writing a series completely in another country with that country's readers are your target audience, it is proper to use their grammar rules. (Have learned she is Australian.) But my bigger point is that they always seem to be one step ahead. They know where the group is going before they get there or even start their journey. If that is the case, why do they need our characters? It would make sense for the bad guys to be following the good guys but they are constantly in front of them. It's a continuous plot hole.

Luckily, all of the characters are likeable and I do want to see the flip side and see the female member of the non-office team meet her man. I also want to see Darcy and the FBI agent hook up. You know that's coming and I haven't read the blurbs of future books. Morgan is next but it looks like there is a ways to go to get to Darcy. Of course, the books are short enough that won't take long.

One of my favorite things about this series is Declan's supply of pink bandaids.

I like that I can fly through Anna Hackett's books while gaining great enjoyment. The characters are fascinating, the storylines are fast-paced, and the action-adventure and history lessons hold my interest. I can become bored quickly if a book does not capture my attention and Mrs. Hackett's books have delivered. "Unexplored," tells the story of former Navy SEAL and rough man, Logan O'Connor, and the former CIA-turned CEO, Sydney Granger. Sydney is pouring the death of her father while trying to maneuver the family corporation as its new CEO. Logan's relationship with a certain woman has left more than a bad taste in his mouth. The "woman of his dreams" almost got him, and his SEAL killed. Now, he will not let any women he does not know close to him unless it is for fast and sweaty sexy time. He especially despises women who lie to him. Sydney receives a call from the notorious Silk Road stating that her brother has been kidnap and she must come in person with the monetary ransom. Sydney does her research and discovers that only one group beat Silk Road, Treasure Hunter Security. Logan is attracted to Sydney but pegs her as a rich society ice princess who is not all she claims to be. Sydney is also attracted to Logan but thinks he's a rude Neanderthal with no manners. The action-adventure is fast-paced, the history lessons slow the pace down but not too much to not hold my interest. The sexy scenes range from slow to rough! Logan and Sydney are like oil and water in their personalities and taste. However, when thrown together in dangerous situations and shaken, they tend to complement each other. I enjoyed the story and look forward to continuing the series.

I'm starting to detect a pattern (and I don't mean the somewhat formulaic stories) for this series.
Amazing location. Cool story ideas full of promise and potential.

And then the telling of the story lets it down. Not sure if the writing was rushed or if it's simply due to the shortness of the story not leaving a lot of room to flesh it out.
But really mostly its the farfetched things that bug me. Like Sydney briefly glances at a few notes about the cloud warriors and suddenly she's the expert? Same with regards to Silk Road, a quick Google search and she's lecturing the THS guys on them, knowing full well that they've tangled with these guys before (since that was reason for her contacting them in the first place)?

Their romance felt a bit rushed, even though I liked them and liked them together, it was a bit weird to watch the complete 180 they pulled from literally one moment to the next.

I could go on, but anyways.
Overall it was enjoyable adventure-packed quick read.

Even though this more adventure-action with a touch of SciFi I have to say that some of the guys definitely give of a PNR/shifter vipe. Half the time I was expecting Logan to burst out as big old Grizzly bear or something.
I already had this thought when reading the spin off Team 52. But here the vipe is even stronger. Like the Wards are wolves, Logan is a bear, Morgan a cat of some description (mountain lion maybe), Hale a panther and Ronin a fox

It kind of pains me to give this two stars, as Anna Hackett has brought me a lot of joy in the past few months with her fun romantic adventures. But this book is the first time I've read something of hers and just felt a bit... icky. Normally, Logan would be the type of hero I'd get behind - cranky, scarred, and in need of some true love to perk him up. And Anna Hackett ordinarily writes this kind of hero very well. Logan though is just unpleasant, and he's so unfair to the heroine (whose name I've forgotten... So, that's not a great recommendation either), and I just could not wrap my head around why these two would fall in love. There's a really jarring "we're running for our lives but I have to quickly bang you" scene that felt all kinds of wrong. She gives up her job as CEO for this guy, which I would have accepted more if the groundwork had been laid that she hates her job, but I didn't really get that impression. Forgettable heroine, you deserved better.

So far, I'm a little underwhelmed by the THS series. The team members don't have the same chemistry as the rest of Anna Hackett's crews (Team 52, while not perfect, does a great job of getting you excited for stories before the books are out). But damned if I won't keep reading, because Darcy and super agent's book must surely be amazing, right?

The Thrills continue in Hackett's third book of the Treasure Hunter Security series! This adventure takes us to the mysterious cloud forests of the Andes. After her father's passing, Sydney becomes the new CEO of Granger Industries, instead of her brother, who has run off to research a pre-Incan culture. Suddenly she receives a terrifying call that her brother has been kidnapped, and his life is in danger if she doesn't come imediately and pay the ransom. Sydney hires Logan from Treasure Hunter Security to help her rescue her brother. Former Navy SEAL Logan O’Connor is rugged and wild and he makes it clear he is not interested in the buttoned up executive. He has been betrayed before and he isn't interested in risking his heart again. But Sydney has secrets that surprise Logan and he has definitely met his match with this strong, intelligent, and sexy woman. But danger lurks all around them and as one clue leads to another, it is a race against time to rescue her brother before the lethal kidnapers catch up to them, or the mysterious Warriors of the Clouds kills them all.
Stella Bloom continues to narrate this fun, adventurous, heartpounding, and sizzling story. She delivers all the excitement, emotion, wit, and steam, bringing these characters and story to life, beautifully. This is a quick listen but packs so much fun and adventure! I can't wait to listen to the next books in Teasure Hunter Security series!

I suffer with a terrible case of book hangover, especially after I've binge read a series, which is why I try very hard to salad spin my tbr pile that I don't binge too much.
Anna Hackett's series are the worst temptation for me, it is so very hard not to binge her stories. I lost the fight after finishing Unchartered and here I am feeling a little fuzzy headed and totally in love with Logan and Callum, (along with a huge girl crush on Morgan, it's very tempting to jump straight into her story as I know it's up next).

Newly minted CEO Sydney Granger‘s still grieving her father’s death and learning her job when she gets a call one night saying she has to pay antiquity thieves, Silk Road a ransom to retrieve her brother from Peru. Using skills from her former job, Sydney researches Silk Road and decides to hire a firm that’s defeated them… twice, Treasure Hunters Security.

Guilt-ridden for falling for a ‘honey trap’ before he left the SEALS, Logan O’Connor rudely decides Sydney’s lying before she opens her mouth. On the job, Logan and Sydney are attacked by Silk Road thugs, after seeing her fight back, Logan decides Sydney’s ‘honey trap’ and roughly restrains her, learning she’s a former CIA operative but sure she’s hiding more.

Unfortunately, Logan’s openly hostile and rude demeanor in the initial client meeting was fine by the company president and client set the tone for suspending investment in the leads or logic for this outing because why else would Logan be tagged as her primary contact or share a room with her (?) when a female is part of the security quartet accompanying her. Never mind!

Let's see, so far in Treasure Hunters Anna Hackett has taken us to Egypt in search of a muthical lost city and to Cambodiato explore a hidden temple and now to Peru to locate the remnants of an ancient civilization. Can you say adventure? These books are absolutely jammed packed with mystery, intrigue, suspense, danger and lots of spicy sizzle. The action is fast paced and hard hitting.

I am going to say upfront that I loved Logan O'Connor in all his glorious dishevelment and grumpiness. You name it, he hates it...e.g. sand and horses. Sydney Granger is Logan's antithesis; cool, polished, moneyed and sophisticated. She's his perfect foil. She proves that she's not who or what she seems as THS treks to Peru to find her missing brother. Logan senses there's more to her than meets the eye and he's determined to suss it out. Once again Silk Road rears it's greedy, ugly head with almost fatal consequences. Logan and Sydney find the love they didn't know they were looking for.

Unexplored - Treasure Hunter Security Book 3

This is another action packed romantic adventure with the Treasure Hunter Security group. Logan, Declan's best friend and coworker has found love with their new client Sydney Granger. She hires them to help find her brother Drew before Silk Road threatens to kill him and ask for a ransom for his release in Peru. As it turns out it is a ruse to get Sydney to come to Peru and lead them to her brother and recover a treasure that he found. Drew leaves clues for her and THS to find him and they have to fight off Silk Road men along the way. As Logan and Sydney fall in love they find Drew and the treasure and almost lose their lives. This exciting adventure ends well with them getting their happily ever after. I cannot wait to read the next book in this suspenseful series and highly recommend this book.

ok. I picked this series back up because I just wanted a quick and easy read to distract me from real life. I'm coming back to this series with the open mind that this series is just not as well developed as her more recent series and we can celebrate the growth of the author.

Book 3 of the series follows Logan and Sydney. Another Treasure Hunter Security team member "bites the dust" and falls in love. The length of book makes the characters have to be insta-love, but it worked better for this couple than the previous two somehow. I do like that the author throws in a 3rd POV here and there because it let's us get to know the thoughts of other team members, who will eventually get their own books. I'm more intrigued about how they are going to stop the Silk Road group, but I'm sure that won't be until close to the end of the series.

This was a short, fast-paced, sexy story, with the next member of Treasure Hunter Security to bite the dust! Sydney Granger has inherited the CEO position of her family's company after her father dies. Her brother is off hunting ancient artifacts in Peru when Sydney gets a call that he's been kidnapped by Silk Road. She hires THS and accompanies them to Peru to save her brother. Logan O'Connor immediately dismisses Sydney as a society girl - but she's really not and she proves herself on their trip and starts to earn the attention and respect of Logan. There was lots of action and interesting info about archaeology as well as some sexy times between Logan and Sydney. I'm enjoying this fun series.

Again I really enjoy the book, action packed and fast. The plot has s a bit repetitive compared to the previous two books, but if the recipe works.
What I am really missing is the build-up of sexual tension between the characters. For someone that has been so scared by a betrayal, it felt like Logan gave it up very quickly. I would loved some more details on his previous heartbreak, it would explain more of his personality.
I also got the sense that the author was rushed to finish the book, because a lot of details are missing for me. Like why Silk Road attacked in the hotel… if the aim was for Sidney to lead them to Drew… why not just observe.
But I still enjoyed the book enough to keep reading the series.

She comes the Treasure Hunter Security for help to find her brother Drew.
He only sees the Ice Queen facade initially.. But there is more to Sydney Granger than he first thought.
It becomes clear the Silk Road want her as bait for Drew who has eluded them.
There are broken rope bridges, Hale playing with new toys and miracle creams before the story finishes, with Logan completely smitten.
It is exciting seeing the THS team uncover remarkable things worldwide.. It is a pity nothing like those discoveries happens in real life.

Unexplored

Unexplored is a good story with angst, sexy times and suspense. Logan the leading male, is my favorite character.
He is sexy, an alpha and brooding. Sydney his leading lady, is his opposite in every way she is high class, sophisticated and has a sense of humor. They are absolutely perfect together. Their relationship will build with explosive chemistry from the beginning. On a mission to rescue her brother, Sydney will find friends, family and her love. Logan will let go of the past and learn to trust himself and Syd. WhloHappy Reading!!
