4⭐️.
If you are a fan of the art or the romance aspects of Naoko Takeuchi's masterpiece "Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon", then this collection of five short stories may be a good read! It was published in 1993. I hope this will get an official English release in the future.

The first story, "Miss Rain" 3⭐️, gave the title for this collection. The story has a reference to a Cinderella story with our main character Rena, Miss Rain, losing her shoe from the brand Miss Rain. A guy named nick-named K, picks up her shoe and later at school starts a club, The Crazy Society, to meet with Rena again. Rena is part of the student council with two other students. Rena is in love with the student president but he is in love with the other student council member. K promises Rena that he will make her forget him. He asks Rena to dance the last waltz with him in the rain.
(Rena looks very much like Ami, Sailor Mercury.)

The second story,"Boku no Pierce Girl – My Earring Wearing Girl"3⭐️, may be the most provoking story. Yuumi and her twin brother Yuuki are very closed, so close that even their mother thinks it is weird. In the beginning Yuuki thinks: "Say Yuuki, even if you find a girl you like someday, stay with me because we are twins". Yuumi swap places with Yuuki in his baseball team and one guy in the other team starts hanging out with Yuumi which makes Yuuki jealous...Later on Yuumi has stomach aches because of the thought that Yuuki may find a girl in the future. The story concludes with the conclusion that Yuumi is not ready to separate from her twin yet...

The third story, "July Marmalade Birthday" 4⭐️,

The forth story, "Maigo no Swing – The Lost Child’s Swing" 4⭐️,

The fifth and the last short story, "Itsumo Isshou ne – Always Together" 5⭐️, was the best one in this book.

Another Shojo-Manga which I've wanted to read for years. Miss Rain and Maria were planned to be published in German as part of the ‘Sailor Moon presents’ collection many years ago but unfortunately that never happened.

This collection has five short stories. Unfortunately I wasn't a fan of any. Either there were boring or problematic. But it's funny how in each story one can recognise a Chieri or/and Tsuzuki from the Cherry Project or of course Usagi from Sailor Moon.

Read somewhere online in English.

I really loved this.
I went into this manga because I wanted to experience more of Takeuchi-san's work. Since it's a compilation of five short stories I thought that it would be a quick read to get the feel of her other manga. I wasn't expecting to be so touched by this though. It felt like the stories where from my childhood, each page holding nostalgia within it, or like she had told them directly from my heart.
Sweet, beautiful, uplifting.
A must have for any romance and/or Takeuchi fan.

A collection of short stories by the great Naoko Takeuchi. None of them really gripped me, they were short and sweet but very shallow and surface level depiction of romance. One of them had a story about twins who were way to obsessed with each other(very weird), and a majoriy of them had a central theme of unrequired love/enemies to lovers. That is her favorite trope especially writing romance- looking at you tuxedo mask and usagi.
