I never wanted to be anything other than a defense attorney. My father was a defense attorney. He was in and out of my life, but when he was there, he talked about how beautiful the law was. I wanted to see it the way he did. But I never imagined following in my father’s footsteps would would mean finding death threats stuck under my car’s windshield.
But it did lead me to Gray Wolf Security and the hot, sexy, former-Navy SEAL who would turn my world upside down and make me see my profession in a new light.
Scarred by his sister’s brutal past, Alexander hated me on sight because of my profession. But that did nothing to tame the almost animalistic passion that sparked every time we were alone together, which was all the time.

Tierney and I seem to butt heads when it comes to our opinions of the legal system, but despite our differences of opinion and her stubborn streak, I can’t seem to get her out of my mind.
And I must get her off my mind.
Since I was assigned by Gray Wolf Security to protect her, it’s got to be hands off…no matter what. David, my boss, has very few rules, but one of them is that operatives may not become involved with their targets. Yet, that one rule is proving very hard to follow.
Can I keep Tierney safe and keep my hands to myself? Maybe.
But if she comes on to me, all bets may be off…

The story line too thin to connivence me why they both are in love. Did the memory of David necessary? The defense lawyer n her boy guard, it should be interesting but it didn't.
I m no buying it. Alex n Tienry p, even talking about ash n a David, who is the main character? Alex, tienry, David or Vanessa? I m not sure.

I read the first 5 books is this series and absolutely loved them. Didn't know that there was a spin off to the series so I was happy to find them. I only have 2 out of 5 but will try to read the others. This one had ne hooked from beginning to end. I admire Alexander for what he and his family went through. With Tierney she just had my heart from the first moment. I wish I had book 2 but I'll just wait patiently. Thank you for writing a amazing series and I look forward to more in the future. 5 stars for sure.

It's a simple setting, Tierny is a lawyer receiving threats, Alexander is an operative that hates lawyers. Of course, there's something that brings them together and they end up falling in love. I liked that the story is simple, but interesting, and is set in a way that makes it credible. Some of the things that they do seem a little amateur, they are supposed to be highly trained people, and make a few very silly mistakes, but at the end they manage to save the day.

This is a spin off from Sinclair's Gray Wolf Security Series, this series is about GWS 2 which is located in Austin, Texas. David talked Ash into turning their family home into the head quarters to another location for GWS 2. David would run the office along with his wife Ricki. This series is about a new set of employees.
Defending Tierny is about Alexander an ex Navy Seal and Tiery a criminal defense attorney who has been receiving death treats. She seeks out help though GWS 2 and is granted bodyguard Alexander. Alexander does not care for Criminal defense attorneys, his sister was attacked, her attacker was let go on a low bond and then fled the country. Alex blames the defense attorney and he would rather not be subjected to protecting Tierny. Well once these two get to know eachother Alex's view begin to change. Can he overcome his one rule and see Tiery for who she really is ? Will he break David's one rule don't sleep with the client? Well your have to read Defending Tiery to find out.
In Defending Tierny we will get Alex, Tiery, Ricki and David's POV. It was a nice to get 4 sides to this story.
So I suggest you give Defending Tierny a try it can be read as a standalone but if you want more of the background story I suggest reading Gray Wolf Security Series first.

New beginning
Grey Wolf Security has expanded with David at the helm. GWS 2 has a group of new operatives who have baggage of their own. With this new business the new cases have come rolling in from all over Texas.
When Tierney hires GWS 2 to look into death threats she's been getting, she had no idea what she would be getting.
Alexander has a past with defense attorneys and when he is assigned to protect Tierney, he has a difficult time putting his personal opinions on the side. But then he gets to know her and sparks begin to fly, until the beating. Will this case be the end of GWS 2 or will the operatives end up like the originals from Grey Wolf?

Excellent!
A great start to a new series by Glenna Sinclair. This is a romance with a lit of suspense. The plot is very well written and the characters are complex but humane. Alexander and Tierny are quite the couple. It is interesting that Tierny's name is from an old movie star's name from the 1950's. Love the name and the movie star. The stories concerning the other characters are very intriguing also. So ma y stories in development. A very good book. Keep up the good work Glenna Sinclair.

Another great book from Glenna Sinclair. I read the whole first Grey Wolf Security series and loved it. I love how she reinvented the office in a new location and put some time between the series so the old characters had development. The main couple in this story are well written and complicated, and the plot has enough loops to keep you turning the page.
My only complaint is the long excerpts from a previous book. She already gave a background on the situation so if you had not read the first book then you were caught up.

Nice
If you read the original Gray Wolf series there are a couple of 100% identical scenes here that make this one feel a bit lazy on the author's part. One I thought was completely unnecessary and the other might be helpful for background, but could have been told from the other prospective, making it feel less stale and lazy. Otherwise, this has the suspense and romance you'd expect, but not as much sexy time.

Interesting
A defense lawyer being threatened, a protector with a sister recovering from a brutal assault end up with their perceptions changed. The lawyer is put to test and learns to really look at all the evidence, the protector finds love and the sister finds a way to live again.

Love this series!
I really like the way this writer brings each member of the team together , fraught with all the experiences and insecurities each as an individual possess'. The strategically infused protective tactics of each protecter to client is intriguing. All in all I really like the camaraderie displayed. Anxiously waiting to begin the next book, in the series!

Suspense-Action-Sex
Alexander was assigned to protect Tierney because she was getting threats in her life. As a criminal lawyer threats were norm, but these felt different. As Alexander checked through Tierney's clients, one stood out like a red flag, the young man charged with B&E and suspected kidnapping, she was currently defending. Great book

Another home run by Glenna. I truly enjoyed this beginning to a spin off of Gray Security and look forward to what comes next in this series. Nice seeing David opening his own firm and bringing in new players to the Gray Wolf Security team.

There was some spelling errors, but not enough to detract from the story. I liked it but I guess I was hoping for something more. Would I read from this author again? On KU... yes but I don't think I would pay to read them.

I love this book.
Alexander and Tierny are a very unique couple. I love how they got together. I was so happy for his sister. This book is really interesting. Different from other books I have read.

October 31, 2016I like that this was a quick read, good introduction to Gray Wold Security 2, you do not have to read the first series to get this one, as I have not read that yet. I like that the story is told from multiple perspectives. It was a good romance with some action both in and out of the bedroom.

I enjoyed this series. This book was not as interesting as the others but it was still a good story. Worth the time, the romance was well done and the best part of the book.

Good read
The story was written well. It was believable. Alexander was just stoic enough but with a heart. Tierney became a different type of lawyer because of Alexander

Great to see the spin off of this series. Getting a small update on how the original crew was doing, was great, and this series is just as fun as the first.
