Bridget wants a family, more than she ever has before.. Now that her two older brothers are married- to women from the year 2006, no less- and her younger brother spends the majority of the year in Denver at school, Bridget decides it is time for her to find love herself. But she also wants something she has never had a chance to have before- an adventure.
Justin is frustrated and lonely since his sister and her roommate have married and moved to an entirely different year. They used to visit each other all the time, but now it is just him and his son, Garrett. When he finds that Bridget, Nicky, and Kimberly’s new sister-in-law, would like to write him, he isn’t sure that it’s a good idea. However, he decides it wouldn’t hurt to write to a woman who lives in 1893.
Then Bridget actually shows up in his time, he is instantly attracted to her, and that scares him. He has a good job, and his son has a promising future. He doesn’t want to leave this time period, and he knows Bridget wants to go back to her own time . Things could never possibly work out between the two, could they?
Another great book in this series. This is Bridget and Justin's story. Bridget, in search of love travels to 2006 using the time travel keys to meet Justin, her Sister-in-law's brother. Then Justin, his son Garrett and Justin's parents travel from 2006 to 1894 to visit Nicky and Kimberly in 1894. When they want to return to their time, the keys have vanished and they are "stuck" in 1894. Now they must adjust to simpler times and a different life style. I love this series and this just might be the best book yet!
Really like this series. No need to read the first two to follow the story. The author does a good job recapping without taking away from the story. Justin is in present time while Bridget is in 1893. Bridget is lonely being the only single on the family farm and decides without telling the rest of the family that she would travel to see Justin and see a bit the future. What could possibly happen? Love the details and reactions.
Bridget watched her brothers marry women from the future. She was curious about the future and curious about Justin the brother of the women her brothers had married. She started writing him and found she wanted to meet him. So she took a trip to the future to satisfy her curiosity. When she agrees to take Justin and his family to visit her family things get complicated.
I’ve really enjoyed reading about the Callahan family and their life on their life on the ranch. Now we get to experience the other side. Bridget travels to the future, meeting up with Nicky’s brother, Justin. This book packs a little more adventure. It’s an exciting, sweet, and clean romance. I definitely recommend reading this book.
I was hoping things would turn out the way they did. I think it was the best for everyone. Such an exciting story. One never knows what’s around the next corner. On to book 4!
Bridget realised that she needs an adventure before moving to Denver to start the next part of her lifestyle plan. Prepare to be amazed by the twist and turns her decisions make in her life.
I really enjoyed this book. I truly like the characters, and they become more interesting with every book in the series. I’m looking forward to the next one....
What a Twist to the Story. I didn’t think this would happen. But I can’t wait to find out what happens next…. Hopefully there is another book to read in this series.
I loved reading this series Time Travel/Mail-Order Brides Romances. After I read the first book, I knew I had to continue onto the second book. I was abit disappointed when I got to the end of the second book to discover that the third book was not yet available. I have to say I was thrilled when the Winds of Time did become available and enjoyed reading it immensely.
Zoe Matthews has done it again. This book is just the right length to read on a flight or to pass around to family and friends. She has a light genera for all ages with return of the characters from her previous books and many more added you'll find yourself putting off chores so you can find out what happens next. I truly enjoyed this book, and again look forward to the next one in the series.
I read the other two stories. The first story was nicely edited. The second's editing was so-so. This one was poorly done. The editing mistakes just jumped out at you everywhere. Wrong gender. Wrong character. Wrong word. I don't know how so many mistakes were overlooked. The closer to the end of the story, the more mistakes that interfered with the plot.
It took 3 books to do it, but all the adults are married now. Though the series is nice reading, I would put an age level on it as tween-high schoolers.
1 - read in order 2 - if you like to stay away from books with lots of typos, this series is not for you! 3 - seemed to be less typos than book 2, the most expensive on Kindle.
I enjoy romance, time travel & the past, so enjoyable story.
I have gotten addicted to this series! Such an interesting concept and we'll written characters. I've enjoyed each book and this last one of Justin and Bridget is great! Hope to see more in this series to come!
After I finished "River of Time", I immediately had to get "Winds of Time" to find out what adventures Bridget goes on. Bridget has been a secondary and minor character thus far in the series, so it was great to get to know her in this book! I also liked getting to know Justin, Nicky's brother.
