Holly S Roberts has done it again another amazing story by an amazing author I was gripped from the first word right up to the last I could not put it down she manages to pull you in to her stories and makes you feel a part of them, I fell in love with the characters in this book just like I did with the other hotter then hell books if you love a hit steamy read then this is the book for you xx

Delta Rogue by Elle Boon

“Keep looking at me like that, and I’ll say screw the men pursuing you and fuck you right where you are.”

This is technically the third book in the series so I found it helpful to have a sort of recap at the beginning to give Hailey and Maddox some context. A fellow navy seal Dex betrayed them and their team. Blake was almost killed so his partner Jojo – along with Hailey and Maddox – have been put on alert. You never actually meet the two guys but hear about them in passing. You are mainly focused on Hailey and Maddox in the crazy shitstorm that’s coming their way.

Hailey has been hiding out after her team was put on alert but an errand forces her to come out into the real world. As soon as she does she feels eyes on her so takes off on her bike like a bat outta hell. She loses the first tail but gains a different one in the form of Maddox when she stops. Good job he was following to keep an eye on her as assassins soon show up guns blazing, and then if that wasn’t enough her bike then goes and blows up. Thinking on his feet he needs to get her fixed up and somewhere safe. Good job he has a friend/partner in his ear he can rely on – seems he has been hiding something too.

Seems Maddox is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her safe. He can see how hard it is for her to trust him from the craziness Dex put them through but deep down he can see she does. The chemistry has always been there between them but they held off for fear of not getting what the other wanted. Seems those fears are out the window when back at his. Saying they are both adults and can share a bed without anything happening is amusing to say the least. Especially with the tent he is spouting from his boxers. Just looking at her turns him on, so he is more than pleased the feeling goes both ways. Electric night together but their bubble is burst the morning after when gunfire strikes again. Seems people are after Hailey, for what they don’t know yet, but as long as there’s breath in him nothing is going to harm her. Loved that he went all caveman dominant on her, he definitely wants to cuff and claim his woman. Something she seemed to like a lot too. Fun times coming up as soon as all the chaos around them wraps up.

Arresting Submission by Daisy Philips

On Cat’s way into work she stumbles across something – or rather someone – that makes her feel uneasy. Thinking she is seeing things as the sexy bad boy on a bike couldn’t possibly be her ex Scott – one currently in prison for fraud charges from her last job. She must really need to get some if just the sight of this man is enough to get her going. What worries her though is that her sister’s fiancé Rick comes out looking shifty and passes something to him. She might just be feeling overly cautious but she knows she needs to get to the bottom of it. Especially when she notices the gun this guy has.

Scott lied to Cat once but one look at her again after all these years and he knows he will do whatever it takes to get her back. That’s if she will even let him explain about the past and what’s happening now. After being invited to a celebration for Rick and Maggie – side note it’s to announce her collaring ceremony, seems the sisters into kink – he wastes no time in getting close to Cat again. She may be a twin but she’s the only one that gets him going. Whether she wants to know about the past or present soon gets pushed back as their chemistry of want and need for the past few years comes rushing to the surface. Scott may not be a Dom but that’s not to mean he doesn’t like to get a bit kinky sometimes, especially with Cat – not that she’s complaining one bit. But with dirty dealings going on around them, whispers of the mob rebuilding and staff members creating an uneasy feeling for Cat will they get the chance to clear the air and start again.

Goes down as another off my 2016 Bookworm Bingo Challenge – a book set in a high school.

Aiden works for the Seattle PD but needs to go undercover for his latest case. A drug ring has come to their attention, putting one girl in the hospital and a guy too scared to talk behind bars. He needs to get information to crack the case but didn’t realise that he would want something, or rather someone, else along the way. But with giving a false name and basically lying from the moment they meet what does he really think is going to happen.

Mercy loves teaching and taking care of her kids. She will go above and beyond to see them succeed. When a member of the football teams grades start slipping she knows she needs to confront the coach. Instead she gets landed with his assistant, substitute Sean. One look at him and she almost melts but shaking her bodies feelings aside she goes all guns blazing saying how important grades are not realising he agrees. They make a deal, if she tutors Cole and comes to his game then he will mentor her troubled student Isaac as long as she also agrees to a date. What women would refuse an offer like that!

They get closer though on a night out with some of the other teachers, brought together by someone who would have taken advantage if he could. Good job alpha Aiden aka Sean was keeping a close eye on her. Something he wants to continue with if she will let him. One night of passion isn’t enough, he wants more but with the little fact he has lied to her about who he really is from the start when she finds out will she get past it. Also a little matter of a drug ring to take down, the leader might be closer to key players than you think.

Street Justice by Holly S. Roberts

With a killer on the lose going after prostitutes Detective Lincoln Street is willing to take any lead he can. So when he gets a call about a prostitute just being brought in that only wants to talk to him he wastes no time in going over to lock up. Gets a bit of a shock though when he sees his sexy as hell neighbour inside the cell and realises she’s the one who called. At this moment he can’t believe he has had the hots for a working girl, as he can’t see any other reason why she would be there. Seems she does have a good reason but one she doesn’t feel like sharing right away. Seems she didn’t call him to help get her out but to make sure her dog Daisy – male dog mind you – is let out and fed. Only after she says that he won’t have to deal with her again does he agree – not that he is looking forward to being humped again by the out of control beast. Though he does soon realise the out of control part isn’t quite true if you know the correct commands – good boy Daisy, you did make me laugh.

Shelby isn’t impressed with her night locked up and if she thought that would be the worst of it she should have known pissing off the judge the morning after wouldn’t be good. Seems he has a way of getting under her skin and when the delectable detective Street just happens to be there she then finds herself under his care. One thing about Shelby is that she doesn’t like being told what to do, you will only get a nice response if you meet her halfway, something Lincoln is getting a crash course in. She can’t deny the chemistry between them so decides to go all in and ask for a bit of fun to help burn off some steam. Neither is looking for something serious but feelings still always creep in. With a killer on the loose though and Shelby taking too many risks will Lincoln be able to take charge to keep everyone safe.

Many points at the end where I thought the book was going to finish only to be pleasantly surprised that it kept going. Really liked this one as it was more in depth and kept you hooked with the quirky characters, and Daisy the dog, throughout.

Yes, Sir by Jenika Snow

Brittin is back in her old hometown Stales for one reason and one reason only, to help stop her twin brother Blaine from killing himself with booze the same way their father did. Getting a call from the local sheriffs department saying he had been in another fight she knows he’s on his last chance and if he doesn’t get help now she will lose him. She keeps telling herself that its just Blaine but the closer she gets to town and the sheriffs department she knows she’s kidding herself. She ran and hid from home for a reason and that reason just happens to be the sexy sheriff Lawson ‘Law’ Blackwater, a bear shifter and also her ex. She couldn’t deal with his alpha views on what his woman should be like back then so she left. Doesn’t mean she hasn’t missed him every second she’s been gone though. The question ‘what if’ keeps going round her head, lets see if Law can answer it.

Law knew the moment Brittin was close, his mate he smelt her on the breeze and only getting stronger the closer she got to the station. The effort it took to stay still and let her come in to get her brother without him just rushing to her begging for another chance is almost too much. Seems his desk is getting the brunt of his tension, especially when he smells her desire along with her uncertainty. He knows he has to tread carefully and is willing to do whatever it takes to have her again.

Seems sexual attraction melts both their brains. Even though they need to talk animalistic tendencies do come to the surface for both of them, he might be the bear but they are both a bit wild. Talk about taking control in the bedroom department, or anywhere else they can find, alpha bear to the max. Seems Brittin doesn’t mind the odd scratch and bite from the man who holds her heart. Lets hope he doesn’t crush it this time.

The Lawman’s Lover by Lori King

One word can change your course in life and for Colby it was his mum saying the word Parkinson’s. There was no way he would let his mum and sister go through this without him so first chance he got he moved back home to Montford and into the sheriffs department as the deputy. There might be chaos around him but one face seems to make it better and keep him calm. One look is all it took to make Colby crave a woman from his local dinner Elizabeth more and more. A girl he knew from his childhood who grew up into one hot dream of a woman. He just has to convince her that he’s worth taking a risk on. If he wasn’t serious then he wouldn’t have waited months to make his move, lets hope she’s willing to jump in.

Elizabeth can’t believe Colby, the popular hottie from school, would be interested in her. Since her divorce she has sworn off men and moved back home to live in her parents guesthouse. She doesn’t want a relationship but something about Colby makes her pause to think. He clearly wants to date her and the sexual chemistry between them is off the charts but she wants to hold back. When he broaches the subject of them dating she all but fires him down until he states that she clearly just wants his cock but not his heart. Thinking that is all he is going to get to start with when she agrees he goes for it. How much can he take though when is heart is on the line? She just needs to look a little deeper into her own to see the truth of where hers lies. Talk about forbidden fruit Colby can’t wait to get a taste of though with Elizabeth being the pastors’ daughter.

House Arrest by Lynne St James

This one is a little different then the rest in that the couple are already together and the guy doesn’t need to try and catch the girl. Only thing with this one is that he’s got to try and convince her to let him in more, after a year of dating I think he should be able to stay over for the night.

Anna might be happy with the way things are going with Ethan but he wants more, he wants all of her. After her fiancé was killed in action she refused to let anyone in but Ethan slowly crept up on her. She is letting him in just not as quickly as he’d like. When he surprises her at a house she is showing she has no idea he has an ulterior motive. There have been some break-ins recently that he has been dealing with and all but a couple have been from houses that her company are showing. He wanted to check it out but also make sure she was safe at the same time. When that house then gets burgled he knows it must be an inside job and with her help they might catch them.

After a late night date at hers he stays over for the first time – well it’s the least she could do after the hot off the charts sex session they have. He might cook more often if that’s what he gets as a thank you. It’s the start of what’s to come though when she informs him of a creepy guy she saw outside the house she was showing the day before. Seems she’s stuck with him until they are caught, as there’s no way he’s letting her be stalked and feel unsafe. She really doesn’t like being told what to do but needs to pay closer attention as Ethan is only ever looking out for her. Nothing he wouldn’t do to keep her safe. She may be headstrong but soon realises that she likes having him look out for her and staying at her place. When the heat is turned up in her office you know the culprit will be spooked, making their next move uncertain. They could be closer than you think and if Anna isn’t careful she could put herself in the firing line.

Seducing the Detective by Sherri Hayes

When a similar murder to a case she is working on in another state comes to the attention of Detective Janey Davis lieutenant he wastes no time in getting her and her partner Paul to check it out. With Paul’s parents big wedding anniversary party that weekend though Janey convinces their lieutenant to send her to check things out first and only send him if she thinks the cases are linked. When she gets to the Town of Liberty and meets deputy Kyle Reed she can only be a bit thankful. She may have a case to check out so knows she needs to be professional but she can’t deny the attraction from the moment she sees him, good job it’s the same on both sides.

Deputy Kyle Reed was almost out the door when he’s informed the detective is there. When he sees her and finds her partner isn’t coming it’s almost like the cat that got the cream. With her needing a place to stay for a moment I thought he was going to take her back to his so was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be his sisters bed and breakfast place. She brought out another side to Kyle, one Janey starts liking the more she spends with him. After checking out the drop scene for John Doe the day after Janey finds she works well with Kyle and his team even if she can’t believe how many times people mention the towns hog roast. Seems it’s a big deal and the moment Kyle crowds behind her asking her to go with him you can see her resolve slipping. The hog roast might be fun but things really start to heat up when they get back to his place. From living in different states though can this be more than a one-night thing? From the looks of the case before them they will be brought together again but I think their chemistry will be more of a pull.

Dirty Liars by Sydney Lea

Nikolai an FBI agent has been deep undercover for an Italian mob for three years. His focus can’t be broken away or the case being built will go up in smoke. On the latest job for them him and his partner Travis are waiting in a club as the family got wind of a transaction going down that they need to intercept. When the families granddaughter and her two friends Corina and Harper appear they can only think that she is the target. The other women would just be collateral damage. While talking it over they lose sight of them. Losing the families’ granddaughter is one thing but Harper is what he fears for most. A drunken hook up months before has started something stronger. It’s this fear that kick starts him into action but not before Annabella and Harper find themselves in harms way.

Harper should have known the night was going to end badly. From the moment Annabella said ‘I have a great idea’ she should have just gone home. Now she is being backed into a fence along with her by a bunch of men with guns looking anything but friendly. Seems she has been in the dark for too long and if she thought that was bad when Nikolai comes along to the rescue he shots first when someone attacks him. With her world crumbling around her the only instinct kicking in is to run. It’s a shame people are on her tail though, bad and good alike but what side is everyone really on.

When a gun is pointed at the woman you care about there is only one way to act – well only one way Nikolai was going to. Shame it’s caused his girl to run. With the bad guys on her tail he has to get to her first and back to his place. Something his handler isn’t too pleased about when he finds out he took her back to his real place. Well it was the safest place to go. He needs to explain if she will let him but as he’s been lying since the moment they met he’s not sure she will forgive. Lets just say it doesn’t take too long for their passions to ignite and remember what they are like together. She’s the only real thing that’s been in his life for a while. He needs to get her to safety but with mob bosses closing in will he get her there in time? Also is he willing to let go of the one person he loves for a case? Lets hope the answer is yes because damn they’re hot.

Her Hearts Protector by Caitlyn O’Leary

David’s day goes from bad to worse in the matter of minutes. Being in Las Flores starting to deal with a case against two military officers he can see (along with the chief of police) that the cops dealing with it are corrupt. If that wasn’t bad enough to deal with the earthquake that hits moments later sure finished things off. Chaos is what follows a few days later when the governor tells him that the prison has had a break out. The governor doesn’t know who on the island he can trust with so many cops and prison guards on the take so passes the role of chief of police onto David – not that he can really take it. The island is a disaster with victims of the quake scattered around. They need help and it soon arrives in the form of Doctors Without Boarders. Once they are set up at the hospital he can focus on rounding up the convicts. He’s in for a bit of a shock when he sees past love Sarah step off the plane. Their romance was short but sweet but ended due to his job taking him away. Well that and the fact she shut off all contact so he had no choice but to let go. Seems this time around is going to be different as one heated look is all it takes to reignite that spark.

From the moment that Sarah gets a moment alone with David you can see how much she’s missed him. Time and distance kept them apart but things are changing. Even with danger afoot there’s still time for some chemistry. Could this be a new start of something true or will the island bring them down? Danger is around ever corner with the convicts and when things start to escalate to the point of calling in the navy seals you know things just got really real and really fast. All things said when chaos hits though you really do want David at the helm keeping things on track.

Wow! This is a collection of action-packed goodness! Lots of sexy Alpha men hard up for their strong sassy women. There’s romance, laughter, second chance love and lots of action! There were a lot of new authors in this collection for me, and I can’t wait to read some of their other stuff. Definitely worth a read.

What’s not to love? Alpha dominant, commanding men and women in law enforcement who know what they want and aren’t afraid to go after it. This is a collection from 10 of the best authors in this genre; some were new authors to me and some familiar. One of the things I loved most about this box set was the diversity of the stories.
Delta Rogue (Seal Team Phantom Series #3) by Elle Boon
Although a new author to me, Ms. Boon had me on the edge of my seat. Delta Rogue is the story of CIA Agent Maddox and Naval officer Hailey, both on the run as Mad try’s to ensure the safety of Hailey and keep her alive after several attempts are made on her life. This was a gripping, fast paced, read with a lot of action, drama and a whole heap of sexiness.
Arresting Submission by (Kinky Book Club) by Daisy Philips
Cat was badly burned by bad boy Scott and moved back to open a restaurant with her twin sister Maggie. When Scott turns up again, Cat finds herself right back where she was 4 years ago. But all is not as it seems; Scott is an undercover federal agent who wants back into her life. I found the story to be well written and once again Ms. Philips is a new author to me and I will be looking into her other works.
In His Custody by Fiona Archer
I have read Ms. Archer’s books before and as previous books I found this one was extremely well written and a pleasure to read. This is Mercy and Aiden’s (Sean) story; Aidan is working undercover as a history teacher at the school that Mercy teaches at. This book had passion, romance, mystery and intrigue and a truly alpha male. Aidan is determined to bring down the criminals selling and supplying drugs at the high school. Mercy is an extremely dedicated teacher, who although cautious of people would do anything to help her studemts.What will happen when Mercy finds out that the man she has fallen for has been lying to her?
Street Justice by (A Hotter Than Hell Novel) by Holly S. Roberts
Another new author to me and one I will be investigating further. What a fun read this was! This story had me from the first; it was well written and a deliciously hot read. I have to say there were moments that I laughed out loud. The banter between the hero and heroine was amusing and I loved the twists and turns that were woven into the story.
Yes, Sir by Jenika Snow
Another new author to me and although paranormal is not really my preferred genre however this was an interesting read. This is a second chance at love story, Brittin comes back to bail her twin brother Blain out of jail and who does she run into but the sheriff Law, who she had a relationship with. Will they be able to make a relationship work the second time, or will it be doomed to failure?

The Lawman’s Lover (Crawley Creek 7) by Lori King
I haven’t read any of the previous books in this series and after reading this book I don’t know why I haven’t read Ms. King before.
When ex-military man Cody returns home to look after his ailing mother he is attracted to Bethie; however she is still recovering from a failed marriage.
Bethie does not want to get involved with anyone, let alone the sexy and fun Colby. When a life or death situation forces these two together, both realise that their “plans” for the future may need to be re-worked. This was a beautiful story, emotional and yet passionate and one of overcoming the past and reaching for a HEA that is deserved.
House Arrest (A Willow Haven Novella Book 1) by Lynne St James
Ms. St James is another new author to me. This was a quick read and is about Ethan, a detective and Anna, a business woman running a Real Estate company. Ethan is investigating a series of break-ins to houses on her listings and is checking into her employees. Anna has finally recovered from the tragic loss of her fiancée and is slowly accepting Ethan and the love he has for her. Will that change when she realises he is investigating the very people that she trusts in her employ?
Seducing the Detective by: Sherri Hayes
When Detective Janey travels to a small town where a body has been discovered that may be connected to her case she meets Deputy Kyle Reed who is assigned to work with her. The attraction between these two is instant, but will they solve the crime or let their passion take over?
Dirty Liars by Sydney Lea
When Harper gets involved with the wrong people, it is up to FBI agent Nikolai to ride in and save her. One of the biggest issues that Nikolai’s faces is that any of his relationships are built on fabrication as he cannot reveal hi true identity. Ms. O’Leary is a new author to me. This is a second chance at love story. When Nurse Sarah Kyle arrives as part of the Doctors without Borders team to assist an island devastated by an earthquake, she finds herself running into David Sloane who is an Army MP
Their attraction between these two was electrifying; add in drama, action and danger and you have one heck of a good read.

This box set is perfect to read as the temperatures start to fall and the pumpkin spice coffees arrive. Sit in your favorite chair with your blanket and drink and read. This compilation of works from these very talented authors will definitely get your temperature to rise and make you wish their Heroes would keep you warm at night.

There is not just one story I could pin point as my favorite as many of my favorite authors have taken us back to their worlds. These worlds have become almost tangible to me. With every word, I felt like I was home or at least visiting an old friend.

Delta Rogue by Elle Boon
Love the action in this book! I thought this was a great story, full of action, and sexy romance. I do enjoy a good action book with hot scenes. I really like Maddox aka “Mad”, his sexy alpha hero ways is a defiant turn on for me. Hailey is a wonderful character as well, she is a tough woman by day and a sexy sub by night. This sounds like a great series and I just had to give Amazon a visit and get my one-click on.

This author is new to me; I enjoyed her writing style very much. I loved the twin twist of the story; the heartache, and the mystery.

In His Custody by Fiona Archer
Love this story! Also a new to me author. I thought it was a great story with some very sexy scenes. I very much enjoyed this alpha male and sassy female. I am always a sucker for instant attraction, deceit, mystery, and my ever favorite; erotic sexy scenes.

Street Justice by Holly S. Roberts
This author is also new to me; I enjoyed the detective and crime in this story; this was well written. Shelby is a sassy heroine that I could be friends with very easily. Who names their dog Daisy? Ok, that doesn’t sound as weird as who names their male dog Daisy? LOL, I do love the story and the characters, I look forward to reading more from this author in the near future. Great family aspect, I loved Lincoln’s family, fingers crossed for their story…

Yes, Sir by Jenika Snow
I found this story to be okay; it has a great concept but I felt the author kept repeating the same back-story over and over again. The sex scene was hot but again it felt like a repeat the second time around. I do like that it was a shifter story, the only one in this boxed set, as I have a love for all things shifter. I just wished the story didn’t repeat it’s self.

Another great story to add to the Crawley Creek series! I was wondering about these two and how or if their story was going to be told. Ms. King not only knows how to give us a great action story, but she adds heart and compassion along with hot steamy sex scenes.

House Arrest by Lynne St. James
This was an interesting detective story; I enjoyed the writing style and the mystery. I liked Anna and her quirky attitude, she’s one smart cookie. Ethan is a very patient man, to hold back the way he did, I enjoyed this sweet story; this author is new to me as well, I will be checking out this author some more.

Seducing the Detective by Sherri Hayes
Detective Janey Davis and the handsome Deputy Kyle Reed are both great characters; I liked the case they are working on together, but I need to know how this case ended! Another new to me author.

Dirty Liars by Sydney Lea
I love reading new to me authors, I liked this story. I do enjoy a happy romance, but I would love to know more about Travis and hope this is part of a series. I do find undercover stories very sexy, not only for the alpha males, ok who am I kidding; it is for the alpha males. I also like the strong female roles that are added to the stories.

Her Hearts Protector by Caitlyn O’Leary
Oh, Wow! This story was so great; it has everything I personally love in stories. The action, kept me glued to this story, the love story was sweet as hell. I have to admit (blushing here) the author has given me a book as a gift a few months ago and I had not started it yet, but let me tell you, after reading this I am all hers! I have found me another wonderful author to stalk.

An absolutely fabulous collection of men and women in and out of uniform. I enjoyed all of these stories, discovered some new to me authors and visited with some faves.
Each one I read I thought oh that's my fave...until the next one.

Fiona's story: English teacher Mercy is attracted to Sean the new temp history teacher. He is actually Aiden Shaw, an undercover detective working a case. He finds starting a relationship difficult with her while living a lie about his identity. Will she forgive him when she finds out? Drugs are appearing in the school and he is there to try and solve this case.
I thoroughly enjoyed this one and was thrilled to discover a new author to me, I'll certainly look for more books by this author.

Lori's story: Colby returns to his home town to help take care of his ill mother. Giving up military life to become a small town cop. Elizabeth "Bethie" is someone from his past and all grown up now. He wants her and she wants no man. She's still hurting from her failed marriage.
This is a beautiful journey of love, overcoming obstacles along the way. I fell in love with these characters and was hoping they'd have their HEA.

Holly's story: The cop and his next door neighbour are thrown together in unusual circumstances. An amusing giant 'leg humping' dog is thrown into the mix creating a lot of humour in between sizzling scenes.
I really got into this story and want to know what happens next. I wonder is there more somewhere? I've never heard of this author before so another one to add to my tbr list.

Caitlyn's story: Earthquake! Major damage to an island country, one with a lot of corruption. Captain David of the Military Police finds himself placed in charge of rounding up escaped prisoners after the jail was damaged. Sarah arrives with 'Doctors without Borders' - a blast from his past. Their chemistry sizzled throughout this tale of action and drama involved in capturing these dangerous prisoners. I really enjoyed this story.

Elle's story: Maddox CIA agent and Navy woman Hailey are on the run for her safety. Someone is trying to kill her or kidnap her for information.
Plenty of drama, action and sizzling sex scenes will burn up your kindle.

Sherri's story: Detective Janey travels to a small town where a body has been discovered that may be connected to her case. Local Deputy Kyle Reed is assigned to work with her...instant attraction.
This story was more about the couple than the crime.

Daisy's story: Cat and Maggie are twins running a restaurant. Cat fell for a bad boy....or did she? Scott is an undercover Fed and wants Cat back in his life. This story revolves around money laundering and kinky sex.

Jenika's story: This one was paranormal, the sheriff 'Law' is a bear shifter. Brittin is on her way home to bail out Blain her twin brother who has alcohol problems. Brittin and Law have history, they were lovers 2 years ago. Will they make it work this time and find happiness?

Lynne's story: Ethan is a small cop and Anna an independent business woman who is NOT looking for love. A series of break ins which appear to be linked to her real estate company throw them together. Can they make their relationship work while he is investigating her employees that she trusts?

Sydney's story: FBI Agent Nikolai finds having a relationship difficult when he can't reveal his true identity. Harper gets tangled up with the wrong people and Nikolai must rescue her from the bad guys while trying to keep her safe. Can it work out for them? Will she be hurt in the crossfire?

Love this set!!! Some really amazing authors, even some new to me ones. I haven't quiet finished them all but will up date this when I am finished. Also doing my best not to give any spoilers.

Delta Rouge by Elle Boon - Maddox and Hailey's story. There is a lot going on here and in the midst of it all is a couple that just kicks butt. I love their nicknames - Mad and Hellion/Hales. One of my favorite lines... "I can't live without out my heart and soul. You are it for me, Hellion." Love this series and can't wait to see what happens next!!

Arresting Submission by Daisy Philips - Cat and Scott's story. He isn't who she thought he was. She just knows that he better not make trouble for her sister and their restaurant.

In His Custody by Fiona Archer - Mercy and Aidan's story. Mercy is a teacher and Aidan comes in as a new substitute teacher. This was a really hot story, with a lot going on. It so wasn't who I expected at all!

Street Justice by Holly S.Roberts - Lincoln and Shelby's Story. This one was so funny and hot as well. I really loved this couple and Daisy as well. The ending left me wanting more, and I will definitely have to check out more of Holly's works.

Yes, Sir by Jenika Snow - Law and Brittin's story. Brittin has come home to take care of her twin brother and maybe settle some old history. Law is the Sheriff in town now and he just happens to be a bear shifter. Oh boy, do I need one of him in my bed!!! This one was hotter than hot.

The Lawman's Lover by Lori King - Crawley Creek 7 Colby and Elizabeth's story. I was really excited to read this one. I love the whole series and this was wonderful. Colby is sweet and hot at the same time. Now I am trying to wait patiently for the next one.

House Arrest by Lynne St. James - Ethan and Anna's story. This is a sweet couple just starting out. Wow, can the man cook. He's a cop and she's into real estate. This one left me wanting to know more. Will check out others works by her for sure.

Seducing the Detective by Sherri Hayes - Detective Janey meets Deputy Kyle when a case in hos small town may be linked to a case in her city. This was fast and fun and I want to know more.

Dirty Liars by Sydney Lea - Nikolai and Harper's story. He's with the FBI and she's totally innocent. These two are really sweet! Can't say more, don't want to spoil things...

Her Heart's Protector by Caitlyn O'Leary - David and Sarah's story. I loved these two and the new SEAL team. He's in the ARMY and she's with DWB. They reunite after like 4 years and its wonderful. I love that he knew exactly how long it been since he has seen her. Totally melted my heart!!

Fantastic set!!!! You really need to give these a shot. You won't be disappointed!

Undercover detective Aiden, called Sean in his role as teacher & coach, is immediately smitten with English teacher, Mercy. Together he teaches her how to explore a sensual time in the bedroom. Fiona really knows how to make the reader feel like they know the characters. Great suspense with a little twist to keep the reader on their toes.

Holly S. Roberts
Linc is an overworked detective who is struggling to solve a serial murder. Shelby is his crazy, young neighbour who successfully both baffles and attracts him. The humour in this story is outstanding even with the serious topic of murder in the background.

Jenika Snow
Lawson is a grizzly bear when he shifts and that matches his human size as well. He is the sheriff of Stales and has one true love- Britton! After being apart for two years they try again.
This is a light, fast paced story that also deals with a serious topic- addiction!

Lori King
Colby is a Navy man who needs to makes big changes in his life for family reasons. He ends up living back in his home town where he sees Elizabeth, who went to school with him.
This story revolves around tackling problems and making changes with very likeable characters.

Lynne St. James
A very likeable couple Ethan & Anna and their relationship trials make for an interesting read along with a touch of suspense!

Sydney Lea
This touching story of an undercover FBI agent and his girl has everything a reader could want. Real life characters who go through emotional stress, passion, suspense and a HEA.

These are just some of the great stories of alpha men and their strong women all will entertain and delight you.

Okay so I am the first to admit, anthologies are simply not my thing. I have tried them before, but for me they have always fell short and yes I admit I even struggled to finish the few that I have read.

But Cuffed and Claimed…..Wow, just wow. Simply amazing.

I’d not heard about some of these authors (well most really) so I was a little sceptical going in.
But what I found was an amazing compilation of short stories bundled into this anthology.
Each author provided a great read, showing their uniqueness and ability to keep me transfixed. A cross section of gorgeous mouth watering alpha males, who demanded attention and definitely got it from me.
Each story was emotionally charged, sinfully delicious and action packed.
I would have to say that the stand out for me though was Fiona Archer with her instalment of In His Custody.

In the instalment we get to meet Aidan.
He’s strong, deliciously sexy and very much alpha. Working undercover Aidan must keep his identity a secret entering a high school as a teacher to find the ring leader behind a suspected drug syndicate within the school grounds.
But what Aidan doesn’t expect is to fall for a beautiful blonde woman who works at the same school.
Her name…..Mercy.
They have chemistry.
They are attracted to each other.
But what will become of them?
What secrets will be revealed?
Will Aidan’s cover be blown?
What happens when Mercy finds out the truth?
A must read with a twist that you won’t see coming.

Overall Cuffed and Claimed is a highly recommended read for those who are a lover of the alpha male and a variety all bundled into one.

What a great bunch of stories in this boxset! We have a collection here of stories that contain, cops, and military and anyone pretty much in law enforcement and boy, each one was OUTSTANDING and PERFECT for this collection. I found authors I know and love, like Caitlyn O' Leary's Her Hearts Protector which just sizzles and has such a great storyline. There is also Delta Rogue by Elle Boon which was yummy, intense and smoldering with hotness! Another great author is Lori King which features her yummy novella The Lawman's Lover. Goodness, her books make me squirm..in a good way. And lets not forget the AMAZING Lynne St. James's House Arrest which is heartwarming, sweet, sexy, and perfect! And it contain's Tag's sister! I squealed when I realized who's HEA we were getting!

Now there are also some authors that are fairly new to me, but featured great stories that have me eager to check out other books by them. Like Daisy Philips and her novella, Arresting Submission. I LOVED IT! Sexy as all get out and truly decadent I was really impressed. Another great author but who is also new to me was Holly S. Robert and her novella, Street Justice. Damn! This one was SOOOO GOOD! I will just admit, EVERY SINGLE NOVELLA HERE IS SO WORTH READING! Sydney Lea and Sherri Hayes, and Jenika Snow...WONDERFULLY WRITTEN NOVELLA'S YOU WILL LOVE!

This anthology of law enforcement themed stories was an incredible read. I enjoyed all the various moments that were heart stoppers, blood pumpers, tear jerkers, cheer makers, and ones that just made me smile. These authors really know how to make you feel like you are the one that is in the story. I went through a myriad of emotions as I read these stories and would happily read them again! Take the time to enjoy these stories for a good read no matter what flavor of law enforcement you prefer. The hunks in these stories require your undivided attention and love. They had mine! Loved the Alpha Men in these stories! Yum! Really made me wish I was the ladies in the stories.

What a great set! Unlike most box set/anthologies, this one has full novels! That made me ridiculously excited, I'll be honest. The other thing I love about this set? I read a lot of authors that I haven't read before and love their work so now my Kindle TBR list just got longer!

I love the variety of characters and situations. Despite the theme, there are no two stories that felt the same. Sometimes in box sets, I feel like you get the same idea each time. That's not true of this. Each author brings their full capacity to the table, giving me as the reader something that I didn't want to put down. I read this book much quicker than I expected, lol. I refuse to admit the book hangover that I'm currently suffering, lol.

The Cuffed & Claimed box set is chock full of Alpha sexiness!!
Ten different short stories, ranging in length from 8-11 chapters if I recall correctly.
All of these stories in one little box can't be beat, if you love Alpha cops or military or maybe CIA, FBI type stories, these guys are just what your looking for.
This set introduced me to a few new authors I definitely need to check into reading more of.

My favorites were Delta Rogue by Elle Boon, Arresting Submission by Daisy Phillips, Yes Sir by Jenika Snow, The Lawman's Love by Lori King and Her Heart's Protector by Caitlyn O'Leary.
I liked them all, just these were my absolute favorites, which is pretty good if half the box set is a toss up for which I loved the most!

Such a great box set. Read every story and LOVED everyone of them. Sexy alphas loving their women. This box set had romance, laughing out loud moments and action. Once you start it you won't put it down. Some of these authors I have read before and some I haven't so it was a great time to learn about new authors and to see if I might like their writing styles and let me just say I FLOVE every author. Arresting Submission by Daisy Philips - ok so this was a new to me author & I loved this story.. I live how Cat doesn't always agree with or understand get sister's desire to be with the book club/bdsm group but she's still supportive.. & then she meets her ex boyfriend & learns there's more to him than she knew.. I love the chemistry between Cat & Scott :)

In His Custody by Fiona Archer - another new to me author.. I didn't like the story as much as the 1st 2 but I still liked it.. A story about a detective, Aiden Shaw, who's undercover at a high school to find out who is supplying kids with drugs & to bust them.. he ends up falling for, Mercy, an English teacher.. I loved their chemistry & how he introduces her to bdsm..

Street Justice by Holly S. Roberts - (ntm author) I love Lincoln Street, his attitude towards a peculiar Poodle/Shepherd mix who just loves to hump his leg at any given moment, who also has a quirky, more-than-what-meets-the-eye neighbor named Shelby.. They are thrown together when she's mistaken for a hooker, taken into custody, & the judge (who's her uncle as well) tells Street he's responsible for her until the actual court date.. All the while, Street is trying to find a murderer who's after hookers & kills them ritualistically... I loved this story from beginning to end :)

Yes, Sir by Jenika Snow - (ntm author) Story is about Brittin & Law.. Brittin, a human woman, who moves away from Stales to live her own life away from the memories of her father & also has a brother who seems to be in & out of rehab more times than should be allowed... Law, a bear-shifting Sheriff & also Brittin's ex from 2 years prior... So Brittin's brother is back at the drinking & fighting & manages to be thrown in jail, using his 1 phone call to call her, & Law calls in some favors so her brother doesn't have to stay in jail... all while throwing Brittin & Law together each chance they get.. A great book :)

The Lawman’s Lover by Lori King - So.... I've loved Lori King's Crawley Creek series since I 1st read her books.. & of course this is no different.. Colby Bricker comes back home to North Dakota after so long because his mom & sister tell him their mom has Parkinson's & they don't know how long she has or how long it'll affect her. So he moves back home & works for the Sheriff's department instead of running away back to where he originally moved to.. Then there's Elizabeth "Bethie" Newcomer (formerly Grimes), the daughter of the town Reverend, waitress at the town diner, & also a widow who now lives in the guest house behind her parents' house... Colby is determined to get Bethie to give him a chance & to take a chance with her heart, while Bethie is determined not to get hurt by her old crush who used to be a jock back in highschool... really great read, Lori :D

House Arrest by Lynne St James - (ntm author) Story is about Ethan Price & Anna Taggart... Ethan is a police detective who's been on a case about a string of break-ins that coincidentally are all Anna's realty homes.. Anna is a realtor who took over her dad's business when he decided to retire & along with that came the employees he'd hired before... Can Ethan find the burglars before Anna gets hurt during an open house?? A great read :)

Seducing the Detective by Sherri Hayes - (ntw author) So Janey Davis is a city detective who is sent from her Indianapolis office to a small town called Liberty because of a murder that seems to be too closely similar to their cold case back home... Then she meets Kyle Reed, deputy of Liberty & too good looking that Janey believes he's like all the other good looking guys; conceited & a playboy... Fireworks flare as she decides to give in a little each time... a great read :)

Dirty Liars by Sydney Lea - (ntm author) FBI agent Nikolai has been undercover for 2-3 years trying to get close to the mafia before the agency can take them down. During his time, he meets Harper, who's the head mafia's granddaughter's best friend... In an effort to kidnap the granddaughter, Harper gets in the middle of it & her world is turned upside down: from finding out about her best friend, as well as finding out the truth about Nik.. Can they survive everything being thrown at them as well as Harper trusting Nik with her heart?.. sry but have to say the is the 2nd book in the box set I didn't particularly like... not my cup of tea & seemed kinda slow starting out.. sry :\

Her Hearts Protector by Caitlyn O'Leary - I've always liked this author no matter what book she writes... So of course it's no surprise that I loved this book as well.. About Military Police Officer David Sloane who was discussing with Chief of Police about dirty cops & how his guys ended up in jail when an earthquake hit, causing destruction everywhere (killing the CoP in the process), & now he's named Acting Chief of Police.. Then there's Sarah Kyle, former Army nurse & David's old fling from before.. David is supposed to be supporting the Doctors (and nurses) Without Borders as they try to save as many lives as possible.. Little did he expect to see Sarah again... Will their feelings get in the way of their jobs? Will David be able to catch all the bad guys who escaped the jail during the earthquake? Definitely a great read :D

Who can truly complain in this box set. You got three of the best authors I know like Lori King, Caitlyn O'Leary and Elle Boon, plus some other great authors. Yes some were new to me but definitely not knew to the Dominant Passion. I was given this set as a gift for an honest review and I honestly don't know why anyone would not get it...I will start from the first to the last book..

Delta Rogue (Phantom Series #3) by Elle Boon
Elle you my dear never seize to amaze me. Here you got a faced past suspense with an exciting twist of Romance.
CIA Agent Maddox and Naval officer Hailey are no strangers to each other, but never in a Romantic way but of friendship.. Now it wasn't for lack of wanting..Maddox doesn't do romance but what hailey doesn't know is that she owns his heart..Hailey doesn't do one nightstands and she believes her heart will never get it wish... Maddox's job is to keep the United States safe from terrorist. Under some circumstances Hailey and him are put together under his care.. both on the run as he tries to keep her alive after several attempts are made on her life. After all is said and done will Maddox be able to let her walk away.

Cat knows bad boys are no good but why can't she walk away from Scott. Everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie and she can never trust him...so moving forward she moved back to open a restaurant with her twin sister Maggie. Are things so far gone that nothing will heal the bleeding wounds...

While new to me Fiona Archer story was really exciting. Mercy is an English teacher with a need for excitement. Then in comes this sexy jerk Substitute history teacher named Aidan who pushes all her buttons and heats her core.. But there is two things Mercy doesn't know one he is an undercover detective trying to uncover a drug ring in the school system.. And second Mercy warms all the dark cold places in his life. But Mercy is too sweet and caring and always willing to do anything for her students...she thinks she knows Aidan but she will get the surprise when she figures out he has been lying from the second they met.

Street Justice by Holly S. Roberts
This author is new to me too but the story was so fun and captivating that I will definitely looking forward to more.
I love the interaction between Shelby and Detective Lincoln.. I died laughing reading about Daisy the dog who humps anything and everything... This story fits the stereotype that if you dress and hang with bad people that it automatically makes you just as bad. But after getting to really seeing Shelby detective Lincoln discovered something he is willing to protect just as ferocious as his job.. Or more so..

PNR loved it. Who says that you can't mix a little shifterlove in a dominant romance.. Hello shifters are dominate and confident. But still they are part human and therefore make mistakes. Brittan has come back to her hometown of Stales because things are complicating. But home means seeing her ex bear shifter and sheriff of Stales and the man she stills loves.. Oh man he knows he screwed up with Brittan but she owns his heart and soul and he is willing to do anything to get her to see he is different and determined to win her love and trust again..

The Lawman’s Lover (Crawley Creek 7) by Lori King
I have loved all the Men from Crawley Creek from the first to the last and will never understand why people have not read this series. You get a different set of scenes but the same main concept love and trust are the basic principles to a wonderful future regardless of the past experiences.. Trust your heart.. This story is Colby story with Elizabeth also known as Bethie.. Illness has struck home with Colby's mom becoming so I'll that he leaves his military service to come home and care for her. Now as a cop a blast from the past comes and he is finally ready to take what he wants . Bethie has not had an easy life from a failed marriage to just bad luck but now out of nowhere Colby comes back but she isn't ready for him at all. But love has a way of healing the broken and the lonely. Will these two find the strength to overcome all the obstacles that will come their way..

House Arrest by Lynne St James
What a fun fast read... This is about detective Ethan and Anna who runs a Real Estate company. They come together due a series of break-ins on her property list that Ethan is investigating. Anna has had a lot of tragedy after the awful lost of fiancé she has said she is through with men in general. But a heart can not be denied and slowly she starts accepting Ethan. He on the other hand has to figure out how to tell her that he is investigating the friends and employees she cares for. Lying never results in a good future.

Caitlyn O’Leary I love you... Lol... Seriously people the Midnight Delta series is soul captivating. You get thrill suspense hurt passion forgiveness and forevers. This book is no different in it amazing adventure.. The story is about crossed paths forgotten love undeniable passion and confidence that together they can come out on top.. David Sloane is military police officer and at the present time is in charge of catching a group of escape convicts.. In all the chaos someone from his past but not far from his mind or heart comes to help in the aid with Doctors Without Borders.. His former love Navy Nurse Sarah.. And still owner to his heart. Things get complex and danger is everywhere with convicts willing to hurt or do anything to escape... But put any obstacles in front of this power house and they will only grow stronger but at the end will they come out together...

Each one of these reads was so great that in all honesty I had to read twice in order to come to grasp on why myself or others haven't been introduced to some of these amazing authors. So don't think twice or blink an eye because you will miss a truly exhilarating experience...

Her Hearts Protector by: Caitlyn O’Leary – Can love be found again during a crisis? David and Sarah knew each other years ago but their careers took them in two different directions. Years later, they meet up again after an earthquake which allowed prisoners have escape.
While I liked this story, I did feel like I was at a movie and I got there 5 minutes late and I had to play catch up during the entire book.

Arresting Submission by: Daisy Philips – Cat met the love of her life only to watch him get arrested. Years later, he walks back into her life with a new name telling her he will explain everything.
I really liked the banter between Cat and Scott. I also liked her inner monologue about how her heart wants one thing but her body wants another.
This was a fun read.

Delta Rogue by: Elle Boon – I loved this book. The chemistry between Maddox and Hailey was off the charts. I loved that Hailey was a kick ass woman who could hold her own.
Hailey doesn’t know who to trust. Finding a traitor in their group has made her very cautious and when Maddox comes back and helps her. She doesn’t know if she should trust him or run as fast as she can in the other direction.

In His Custody by: Fiona Archer – Aiden goes undercover as a high school teacher to try and find out who is selling drugs but ends up meeting another teacher who lights his fire. How do you start something meaningful when most of it is based on lies? How do you protect the one you love and also remain detached enough to do your job?
I loved Aiden in this book. He was dominating and controlling but he was also warm and kind. It was a nice mix.

Street Justice by: Holly S. Roberts – Shelby and Lincoln are next door neighbors with completely opposite lifestyles. He is a very orderly cop and she is a disorganized woman. Even though they don’t particularly like each other, they both feel the chemistry between them.
You have the case that Lincoln is working on plus a woman who blows all his warning for safety and add in a horny dog and you get this fun book.

Yes, Sir by: Jenika Snow – I really liked this book. If you like shifter books, this one is for you. Brittin left town after the breakup with her boyfriend bear shifter Law. He was far too possessive, demanding and wanted to control her life. She had enough and left. Year later she is forced to return to help out her brother that will defiantly bring her face to face with Law again.
The part I really liked about this book is even if you take the shifter part out of it, it is about two people who made certain choices in their lives. Years later, they have grown up and realized that their original though process wasn’t worth it, if it meant losing the person you are meant to be with. This book shows the reader the growth these two characters.

The Lawman’s Lover by: Lori King – I loved this book. I am already a huge fan of Lori King’s Crawley Creek series and this was a companion story. Colby has been coming to the diner to chat with Elizabeth. Fresh off a divorce that ended badly, Colby doesn’t want so scare her off but still wants her. Being a deputy, he knows how to read people, so he knows when to push Elizabeth and when to back off. He first tempts her with words, then his body in order to break down the walls that are around her heart. I loved this couple. Also be warned, some of the things Colby says to Elizabeth was hot!

House Arrest by: Lynne St. James – What’s a poor guy to do?? Ethan is a small town detective who is dealing with a rash of break-ins. His girlfriend Anna is the owner of the realty company that the break-in keep happening in. On top of that, Ethan and Anna have been dating for more than a year and she is just as closed off as she was when he met her. How does an alpha detective keep danger away from the woman he loves but yet gets her to open up in the process?

Seducing the Detective by: Sherri Hayes – Detective Janey Davis is sent to a small town to consult on a John Doe and see if it matches up with some other cases she is working on. There she meets Kyle Reed who she needs to work with. Sparks fly between the two and Janey works very hard to ignore it!

Dirty Liars by: Sydney Lea – What happens when an undercover agent falls in love with a woman who is friends with the family he is investigating? What happens when she is put in the crosshairs? Where is his loyalty, to his job or his woman? What is the ramifications from his decision?
I really liked this book. You felt the love and passion that Nikolai and Harper have for each other.

Cops and SEALS and badges galore, OH MY!!! You’ll get all of the letters of the alphabet (and then some) in this anthology. They’re all fairly short reads that will leave you wanting more and have you reaching into your bedside drawer. I highly recommend it if you’re into action and steam both in and out of the bedroom.
*Delta Rogue by Elle Boon - 4 ½ stars - Hailey and Maddox are an explosive team of the trained elite. The danger and suspense in the story was palpable - as was their chemistry. When they connected physically, it was HOT. The sexual tension in their banter leapt off the pages. I wanted a little more to the story, but I have a feeling that it’s unfolding in the series. I don’t think that the danger has been eliminated yet so I’m going to have to pick up the rest of the series and keep going forward.
*Arresting Submission by Daisy Philips - 4 ½ stars - Cat and Scott had a relationship that ended abruptly 4 years ago. When he reenters her life (hundreds of miles away), she’s torn. She believes he’s a criminal, but their sexual chemistry is off the charts and will leave you breathless. The events unfolded a little too quickly for me, but it worked for the story.
*In His Custody by Fiona Archer - 5 stars - Mercy and Aidan are a match made in deceitful heaven...only because he’s undercover and can’t help but fall for the intelligent and sassy English teacher all while gaining intel to bust up a drug operation at a high school. The suspense may be high and the story riveting, but the bedroom encounters are scorching.
*Street Justice by Holly Roberts - 5 stars - Shelby and Lincoln are a match made in “opposites” hell. Sexy, suspenseful and mixed with the perfect combination of humor and levity. He’s on the hunt for a killer and she’s...well, she’s just there - kind of out there in a crazy way. She drives him nuts, but once they are together all bets are off. He likes her brand of crazy anyway. When she’s in the sights of a madman, he’ll do everything in his power to protect her. It ends with more to come, so keep your eyes peeled for the next book in the series.
*Yes, Sir by Jenika Snow - 3 ½ stars - Brittin and Law haven’t seen each other in 2 years when Brittin comes back to town. Law is a bear shifter. Shifters aren’t really my cup of tea, but Jenika penned a good second chance tale for this human and shifter pair. I didn’t care for some of the phrasing, but that’s my personal preference.
* The Lawman’s Lover by Lori King - 5 stars - Bethie and Colby really are a perfect match even if she refuses to see it. There’s a lot to this story (and the series) but it’s so intriguing and riveting, you’ll be sorry when it’s over.
* House Arrest by Lynne St. James - 5 stars - Anna and Ethan are delightful and taking it slow due to her past hurts. When burglaries in their small town turn to murder and Anna is placed in the crosshairs, Ethan will do whatever it takes to get his woman home safely. Suspension and love are in the air.
* Seducing the Detective by Sherri Hayes - 3 stars - Janey and Kyle are both police officers in different jurisdictions. When they meet, there is an attraction there. There’s a baseline for the story but no real conclusion. This one didn’t really grab me and fell in the so-so category for me.
* Dirty Liars by Sydney Lea - 5 stars - Harper and Nikolai were FABULOUS!!! An unlikely match in this fast paced, action packed adventure. Mafia, undercover agents and innocence. I couldn’t stop flipping pages, and this might have been my favorite one in the bunch.
* Her Heart’s Protector by Caitlyn O’Leary - 5 stars - Sarah and David have their 2nd chance story. AWESOME! This is another action packed dynamo.This anthology concludes with an HEA that will leave you smiling and make you happy that you took the time to read all the way through.
I can’t wait to read more from so many of these authors.

All of the stories in this box set are amazing. There is something for every person. I mean, who doesn't want an Alpha man to claim them!!! While I totally loved all the stories, there were a handful that were more interesting for me. Daisy Phillips story is just awesome because I love her series that this is written in. Sherri Hayes delivered a perfect story. And of course, a few of my favorites, Lori King and Jenika Snow and Elle Boon! Each story is wonderful in that they just suck you into the lives of the characters and don't let go. And for the proceeds from the sale of this set to go to such a worthy cause just makes my heart happy. I have family in law enforcement and am scared all the time for them. Ladies, you all have done an outstanding job and I applaud you! Keep writing all these hot, steamy and kinky stories because your readers will keep reading them!

I'm only three books in so far, but wanted to start my reviews!

IN HER CUSTODY by Fiona Archer……

The first short story by Ms Archer is a wonderful mix of intrigue, mystery and passionate, sensual romance too!

Aidan/Sean is your typical Alpha male; an undercover cop, hell bent on discovering who is infiltrating high schools to sell drugs and endanger their youth, while Mercy Jones is a dedicated teacher, with a heart of gold, but a somewhat wary soul.

While Aidan plays his role and works to unearth the true evil behind the danger a Macarther High, he struggles with feelings of betrayal as he hides his true identity from the woman he knows has trust issues, and has quickly become the centre of his world.

Together, Aidan and Mercy make this a captivating read that is sure to have readers coming back for more of Ms Archer’s fantastic books!


THE LAWMAN’S LOVER by Lori King……

Crawley Creek is a true favourite of mine and having met Deputy Colby Bricker in the last instalment, I was definitely hoping he would get his own story.

A bear of man, who has sacrificed his dreams to care for his ailing mother, Colby oozes Alpha male and has a sexy mischievous side that fits perfectly with his overall persona. Elizabeth Newcomer was raised a preacher’s daughter, but life and tragedy have seen her return to Montford after the disintegration of her youthful marriage, and become withdrawn from the possibilities of future happiness.

A man who thinks he isn’t ready for commitment and a woman who only wants to be ‘friends’, will be forced to re-evaluated what they’ve come to believe and meet the truth head on when a near death experience threatens their possible future.

Fun, emotional and passionate, are all great words to describe this fabulous story by Ms King!

Looking to try a few new authors? Interested in spicing up romance with a pinch of kink? This anthology featuring ten authors is one to pick up. The nice selection of stories contain sugar to spice and everything nice. I knew of three authors before I picked up this book. Two authors I kind of knew and five who were new to me. Each of these stories involves an alpha male and a submissive female. Some of the females are feisty and others are bratty. Sometimes the chemistry is hawt and sometimes, it is a slow steady simmer. The stories are all well written and edited. The characters are for the most part, easy to visualize. The men are romantic and they sweep women off their feet. For me, there was only one story which really caught my attention and I was riveted. And it had nothing to do with the kink. It was all about the writing style and story.

Her Hearts Protector by Caitlyn O’Leary is the most memorable one for me. She is a new to me author that I need to add to my list of authors I watch. What I liked about this story is the tightly written tale that was plot driven. The conflict in this story is pretty major. In addition to the huge issue through the constant threat of death, Ms. O'Leary creates admirable characters. I fell in love with David Sloane. He's a guy just trying to do his job and is in the middle of a disaster. He is the type of character who steps up to the plate and inspires. He is what I consider, a real man. Not to be outdone, Sarah Kyle is a strong female lead with her determination and strength in times of need. She embodies self sacrifice and doing the right thing. This story isn't about the rose coloured kinky romance. This is a tale of love at the wrong time reunited at the right time in the wrong place. There is action, life or death decisions and evil threatening to flatten everyone. Creating a story filled with grit and hope in a desolate and demoralizing situation is admirable. To use characters who can be anyone in the world, not rich, not famous is impressive. I loved the bonding between the two characters in the face of their adversity. I loved how they struggled to fight for both love and life. This last story in the book really finished off the book on a high note.

This romantic suspense collection is recommended to kinky readers who are love men in uniforms who protect and love with a spanking hand.
