A captivating enemies-to-lovers/arranged marriage fanfiction featuring Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, set in the universe of A Song of Ice and Fire. The Wolf Maid is forced to wed the Dragon Prince to bolster the political alliance between the North and the Crown, and she is far from pleased about it.
Lyanna is fierce and wilful, while Rhaegar is swoon-worthy. I also adore the supporting characters, and one of the highlights of this tale is the friendship between Lyanna and Jaime Lannister.
I have no choice but to read fanfiction on Archive of Our Own while I wait for George R.R. Martin to complete A Song of Ice and Fire, a task I seriously doubt he will ever accomplish.

I just adore this fic
(a minor qualm again aka the imagery for the symbols of the houses was a bit too heavy for my taste, slightly overdone, but otherwise trifling in the grand scheme of things)
4/5th? reread (I honestly don’t remember)
- Will ashotofjac ever finish the sequel? The world might never know but rest assured i WILL BE there to read it
- i a d o r e jaime and lyanna’s friendship
- OG stark siblings i love them
- 🖤rhaegar The Husband and king that you are🖤
- the writing is so poetic it never fails to blow me away, i distinctly remember one line saying “the heaven sheds their woes”….it’s raining…wtf😭
- slightly skimmed over some parts this time around

If I could put 10 stars, I would! This is an amazing story. I’ve read it several times just to chase the great feelings it brings!
