Rate this book
Now in paperback! Four stories from the Happy Homicides anthology series (Volumes 1-4). Linda Gordon Hengerer combines her cooking talents and her love of crafts in Dying for Holiday Tea . Although the town is fictional, much of the lore within is fact. Pour yourself a cuppa and settle into a cozy read at the Beach Tea Shop. Love is part of life and death in Dying for Valentine’s Tea , featuring the Powell sisters from the Beach Tea Shop. The wonderful food cooked up by Alex, Dani, and Chelsea will make your mouth water, while you share their concern for a dear friend whose romance with Mr. Right seems to be All Wrong. In Dying for Graduation Tea , the Powell sisters can always be counted on in a pinch. Is that why someone has framed them for murder? Chelsea Powell and her sisters are providing treats for Citrus Beach High School’s Freshman Orientation. Can they solve the murder of the beloved softball coach before secrets are revealed and someone else dies, in Dying for School Tea ? Recipes for fragrant Gingerbread, decadent Black Forest Trifle, Tea Time S’mores, and Spiced Peach Pastries follow each story. If you’re feeling crafty, instructions are included to make Candy Cane Reindeer, Candy Cane Peppermint Hearts, a Peppermint Tray, and a Tiered Serving Stand.

Good stories and yummy recipes!

This set of 4 Beach Tea Shop novellas makes for an enjoyable day of reading and when you're done reading each story there are the recipes to try. What a fun set! Alex, Dani, and Chelsea have been running the shop since Nana Jean's death. They each bring a talent and together the three sisters have not only continued running a successful business, but they're pretty good amateur sleuths too. There's a little romance, a lot of mystery, and some great recipes. Anyone who likes Cozy’s will love this set.

A group of great stories draw you into the well developed characters making you want more!

I absolutely LOVED the stories in this book! The characters are well developed and I loved the closeness of the Sisters and especially how they interact with their Godmother BevAnne who helped to raise them with their grandmother, now deceased. These stories were full of fun, mystery, romance and recipes! These characters and how well they are developed can be carried in as full length cozy mystery! After finishing the last story, I wanted more. Being from Vero Beach, I loved two of the places I frequent was mentioned in one of the stories (in the A group of great stories draw you into the well developed characters making you want more! fictional town oc Citrus Beach) when BevAnne was celebrating her birthday with the girls, it made the story more intimate to me! Loved the references. I am following this author and can't wait for more.

Just Right for Tea Time

What a delightful series of short stories that can be read during a cuppa! There is mystery that keeps you guessing. Friendship to met your needs. And even romance without sexual scenes. What a pleasant way to spent an hour. Plus there is more then one in the book with recipes.

This is a nice collection of cozy Novellas and a short story. Includes recipes and some decorating ideas as well. The three sisters and their adopted grandmother are great characters set in a cute smaller beach town in Florida. Fun and easy reading.
