I read the first book. It is 2 books in this one. After the first one , His Big Beautiful Woman, I stopped. This had the potential to be a great story. The character development was off. It was confusing at times. It needed more to be added to the story to make it exciting. It didn't hold my attention. It was boring. This author can get better with time.
This was an engaging read. The author shows every disappointment can be an appointment elsewhere. The story begins with heartbreak, followed by a serious case of depression but the supporting friends characters are able to threaten the main character to rise from the ashes like the proverbial Phoenix and take flight with another. An engaging read
So glad this was .99, in the first book the Heroine move from California to be with her boyfriend in New York. He had been distant before she got to NY. My question is why would she even move. Book 2 was kind of all over the place.
