Sexy shifter Will Harkness has always been a lone wolf. When a beautiful witch stumbles into his path, will he be able to resist the holiday magic?
From USA Today bestselling author Tasha Black: Tess Lane has just completed a magical task that consumed her every waking moment for years. Though she longs for a way to use her special skills in the regular world, Tess’s magic comes with a price that makes sharing it with others all but impossible. The unbelievably gorgeous guy she meets when visiting her sister’s new family for the holidays certainly makes her wish otherwise. If only she could stop breaking things long enough to get to know him better.
Will Harkness has always been a lone wolf. Surrounded by a large and loving foster family, Will skirts the edges of the madcap career success his siblings have enjoyed, preferring to live a quiet life filled with simple pleasures. But when his brother Derek’s wife brings her voluptuous but accident-prone little sister home for the holidays, Will’s feelings suddenly get complicated.
When the two are thrown together with the mission of baking two hundred apple pies during an epic blizzard, Tess can hardly resist the pull of her magic. Will the shadow waiting in the snow snuff them out for good? Or will these two loners learn to open their hearts?
Bake This! is a steamy and light-hearted holiday romance novella, set in the world of 300 Moons. It tells a complete story that may be read alone. (But fans of the 300 Moons series will enjoy a chance to catch up with Derek, Johnny, Darcy and their mates!)
Meh, not awful, but meh… The most annoying thing was that there were people at the farmhouse, who haven't been introduced yet. Darcy and Finn were there together, and while Darcy was in the previous books, her fiancée wasn't. I had to look it up, they get together in book 5. They only make a brief appearance, but it still annoys me. Though it's definitely a "me" problem and a personal pet peeve, I absolutely will not read a series out of order if at all possible. It's small, unimportant, and not even relevant to the story line, but it still bugs the shit out of me. Tess annoyed me she broke literally everything she touched but still never stopped trying to "fix" things…in someone else's house…who she just met. It was just weird, she wasn't cute and clumsy and broke things, she tore then apart and then fucked them up…it was just so odd. The only thing that saved this from full-on hate was a few funny lines, and an I Love Lucy-esque scene with pies and a conveyor belt. Other than that…meh…
Great world build. Both main characters were well written and I enjoyed this little shorty A LOT. Tess & Will had me grinning so much my cheeks started hurting. Tess is like a walking disaster looking for a place to happen. It seemed like the more Will tried to help the more things went wonky.
The intimate scenes are sweet, romantic and adult.
300 Moons has officially become one of my favorite series!
Absolutely loved this book even though I haven't read anything connected to the main story. Tess goes to stay with her sister and her new boyfriend on a farm where the family takes in fosters kid with special abilities. She's meets Will a werewolf and a total dish. Love that she's terribly accident prone and when she uses magic has to tell complete truth as a back lash to using magic. Will definitely look into reading other book that are about the family. Great insta love HEA.
Tess is a witch who has come to visit her sister for the holidays. Tess is sweet, helpful, but oh so clutsy. Everything she tries to help with or fix ends up a disaster. Will is a wolf shifter, one of the Harkness clan. He is somewhat shy but very patient. Will has volunteered to help Tess fix a big mess she created. Together they are something to behold, or at least read about! This was a fun book with a touch of magic, a touch of action, and a whole lot of love and laughter.
I have always been a fan of the quiet, the odd, the outcast, and the loaner finding their HEAs. This book certainly has all of that and so much more. I love the characters, they are so endearing in their need to help, but not necessarily fit in. And how amazingly perfect were they for each other? The author did not need an excess of danger and action to carry this story with all of the little hiccups along the way. This book is a fantastic addition to the series and a wonderful taste of the holidays. I can’t wait to read more!
Bake This! A 300 Moons Novella by Tasha Black ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I absolutely enjoy reading the 300 Moons series they are a phenomenal page turner and they entertain us with so much imagination, they always have a sexy gorgeous shifters and a fierce and intelligent sexy woman! Another excellent addition to this series by Tasha Black. I will tell you my requirements for paranormal romance stories is very simple. Just give me a gorgeous, faithful, protective and sexy Alpha male shifter who finds their fated mate for a HEA and I will follow you anywhere. All of Tasha Black storylines far exceeds my simple needs. WOW all I can say is her books are amazing, creative, enthralling and I have enjoyed reading everyone of them.
I've loved reading the 300 Moons series from the very beginning. Each new book pulls you into their mother's family clan and makes you feel like you are part of them. In Bake This! We get to read inside the world of Ms. Harkness she takes care of the children who family can't because they shift to young and they can't handle their animals yet. Each child is handled by Mrs. Cortez and her role in their everyday lives wasn’t like their mom's, but it's just as important. Mrs Cortez is a tiny woman and she holds the child in her warm arms and whisper a sweet song, though no one can ever remember the words. “Three hundred moons, she would say “And then we wait,” Mrs. Cortez replied. “Magic always has a price. We’ll find it out soon enough. all believed it. There are twists and turns throughout the book it will put you on the edge of your seat. Tess Lane is a witch, but she would like to change a few things about her magic. She had just completed a magical task that took every waking moment for years to finish. Tess’s magic comes with a price that makes sharing it is almost impossible. The Will Harkness is a gorgeous wolf shifter she meets while visiting her sister’s new in-laws for the holidays. Will has always been a loner even though he is surrounded by a large loving foster family, he prefers to live quietly until his feelings for his accident-prone voluptuous sister-law becomes complicated. When they must make and bake two hundred apple pies. When Will is call away, Tess can't resist the used of her magic. Then Will returns and a real bad blizzard hits. Is this the work of evil waiting in the snow to kill them all.
There are some intriguing questions answered Bake This. This series gets deeper with every book. Tasha Black I absolutely love your books please keep them coming. I will keep reading Tasha Black books until I can't read or listen to a book! Tasha books are scorching hot, spicy, compelling and absolutely intriguing! I know you will love them when you read them for yourself and find out!! Even though I received a ARC for my honest opinion in a review, I love communicating with other readers.

Finally the bumbling female gets the guy! Tess is Hedda's witchy sister who is married to Derek from the first 300 moon book. Will is Dereck's brother and they are part of the abandoned shifters that Kate Harkness has taken in and raised as her own. It's an odd assortment of shifters but they're closer than blood relatives due to their circumstances. Will is a wolf shifter and Tess can't stop dreaming about him. She's consumed with thoughts of being ravished by Will but knows as a big curvy woman Will will never look twice at her. Tess is also a tinkerer and loves machinery. So when things breakdown Tess offers to fix them, the only thing is...she never quite gets them working again. When she insists she can fix the convection oven they need to bake over 200 pies she gets everything back together only to break the oven door. It's the last straw so she says she will finish making the pies herself so the others don't have to suffer for her mistakes. Will offers to help her and the rest go off back to the main house to wait for Christmas. Well, you can imagine how that goes, but it's not that simple, bad things are going on and Tess and Will have to figure it out. It's really quite an odyssey. Can't wait to read the next book!
Tess is visiting her big sister, brother in-law and all the new in-laws on Harkness farm. It's a bit overwhelming considering Tess has had no other contact with anyone but her sisters in so very long. And she can't seem to stop having these little accidents every time she tries to help out around the farm. Enter Will Harkness, the lone wolf of the family. He can't take his eyes off his new sister in-law, the curvey beautiful bumbling witch. Another accident has him volunteering to help Tess make 200 pies. Hey let us not forget about the evil shadow attracted to all the magic. Really, this is the genius that is Tasha Black! Every one of her stories has been awesome to read! Lots of fun and surprises along the way with awesome characters and stories. I cannot say enough about this author!! Simply AWESOME!! She's a favorite and I would gladly read anything she has written knowing I will be as thrilled with the story as I have been with everything else I have read by her! You cannot go wrong with this author! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND each and every book she has!! Every Series! So if you see it's by Tasha Black, Read the book!! You will not be disappointed!!!!
Mmmmm! "Bake This!" is yummy ;) A smoking hot, steamy PNR must read novella full of fun and magic with a 'curvy' girl witch and a hot & sexy shifter! ... I was hooked from the start, did not want to put it down, and then left craving more at the end ;) ... Ms. Black has a way with words and brings it every time. Never a carbon copy, always a fresh storyline and awesome descriptions that transport the reader into the magical world she's created! ... Well defined characters that are easy to relate to and witty dialogue will keep the reader engaged and turning pages! ...This fantastic stand-alone is from the amazing 300 Moons series and I highly recommend this book & the whole series! ... Fans of fiction who love contemporary romance and paranormal with a touch of mystery do not want to miss out on this!
Who would have thought that baking pies could be so sexy and erotic? Well if you have a hunky shifter like Will Harkness, it certainly does. He is the right mix of sweet and tangy and with magical Tess by his side it feels like an extra luscious dollop of cream. Beautifully written as always, Tasha Black gives us a tantalising glimpse into the Harkness clan christmas traditions. This family should be a role model to every parent out there... maybe Kate Harkness can write a manual on how to raise kids and help them become the respectful and loyal adults of tomorrow. Magic, pure magic that's how I can describe this book.
This was my first in the 300 Moons books series, it will definitely not be my last. What an entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable book. The characters are so fun and believable. The story is compelling. Tess goes to stay with her newly mated sister for the Christmas holiday. Like her sister, Tess is a witch but an accident prone one. She is set up with a shifter, Ethan, but he is ok, however there is another shifter there that just seems perfect, Will. They are all staying at a farm that has been home to supernatural misfits. Tess tried to fix things but just keeps making a mess of things. Her magic requires the price of truth when ever it is used and this leads to some fun with Will. Tess agrees to help make 200 apple pies for a fundraiser. The oven malfunctions and Tess just has to try to fix it, it does not go well. This draws Will and Tess even closer. This is a sweet and funny story. I love the magic and shifters. I look forward to many more.
Tess Lane is a witch and she is spending the holidays with her sister's boyfriends family. Tess just wanted to be helpful but everything she touches goes wrong. It's time to start baking the apple pies for the holiday but one of the ovens is not working correctly. Tess decides to fix it but that doesn't end well. To top off the holiday Tess's sister is trying to fix her up with her boyfriends best friend but Tess is just to shy to talk to him. Tess knows she could fix everything that went wrong with her magic but magic always has a price and Tess does not want to risk the cost while visiting with others. Tess notices that Will appears to be a lot like her, he is standing on the outside of the group just listening like she does. When things really go wrong Will offers to help Tess with the pies and the sparks start to fly. I love this book. The characters are amazing the story is original and it made me laugh out loud.
I have read the Books 1-4 of the 300 Moons Series and each book seems to get better and better (and each book is a great book, a standalone but is more fun when read in order). I really enjoyed reading this book -- the characters are delightful and playful. Magic and shifting, passion for work and desire to be useful. Desire for acceptance and for love. I love the characters found with the pages. I particularly love Kate Harkness, foster mother and, in many cases, the only mother to the kids of Harkness Farms. Bravo! I am looking forward to the upcoming books in the series (I am a fan of the other series written by the talented Tasha Black).

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinions. In this book we journey to the Harkness farm for the holiday.Tess Lane has come to visit her sisters new family but things aren't going as planned she keeps breaking things way to make a good impression .Sexy shifter Will Harkness likes living a quiet and simple life but its anything but when Tess is around she's gorgeous and accident prone.Tess is a witch and as with all magic there is a price whenever she uses it.When it comes to her and Will getting closer that price will actually help this couple open up to each other.I really enjoyed this story it is sweet and cozy paranormal that you can't help but curl up with .A fantastic holiday romance I will definitely be recommending it and the rest of the books in this series.
Christmas Magic For Tess and Will! 3.25*****Spoiler Alert!
Tess Lane, one of the disbanded witches of the shifter wolves and the spell-enchanted mine, arrived at Harkness Farms to meet Derek' s family with Hedda. As she attempted to fix broken items and trouble shoot, she created more havoc in her wake. She repeatedly has sexy visions about Will Harkness, shifter wolf, who was always by her side. As she casted her spell to save her 200 apple pies, the worst snow storm struck the Hollow with the shadow demons in tow, and Will is still by her side. Great story with a rapid six hour wedding proposal; one for the books.
Loved Will' s patient character, and Tess' knack of creating havoc out of her desire to help. An Okay-Read!

Bake This! was an awesome read. It was fast, but very fun. The characters were very relatable and the story just molded itself to my senses. Everything scene, every chapter, just flowed from one to the next without giving a feeling that I had to stop at each one of them. It is a great story that you can read on it's own, or in continuation in this series. Of course, it's nice to know the history of all the main characters, so as a follow up story it is the best to read it this way. If you love sexy shifters, climsy witches and a story that is bigger than what it seemed at first, you will love this book from this series. Happy reading!
Cute and steamy shifter holiday story. Tasha Black’s books are always so cozy, so it’s unsurprisingly that her style works really well for a Christmas romance.
Minor spoilers to follow: Romantic novellas can be hit or miss because the author has very little time to convince the reader that the couple belongs together. The plot twist in this one is pretty funny while explaining why the romance moves as quickly as it does. It’s very cute and well done.
Disclosure: I received a review copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion. I was not financially compensated for this post.
The truth and nothing but the truth, lol. I like Tess, she's smart and clumsy, her magic is great to have, the price for using her magic makes for a hilarious, upbeat, entertaining tale. Will is perfect for her and they share an instant attraction. I like the connection of the previous characters and I enjoyed reading this addition to the series. Through the calamity of Tess, these two team up and save the day. Loved it and couldn't put it down!!
It's 2 short!! All the other ones r long enough but 4 this 1 for sum reason. Why would the demons try and get him now B4 the spell is even off yet? She had issues with fixing things cause she tried not 2 use her powers cause of her consequences of telling the truth 2 any questions asked. Will knew sumthing is going on between them but not sure what it is. It's good that they tried 2 get 2 know each other better. It's good that his wolf wanted 2 claim her but was he sure she was his mate or not? His wolf wanted her 2 b more than anything.
God, I just can not stand this bumbling moron of a h any more! She's a f'ing idiot! She's spent, by the sounds of it, her entire life trying to be a miss fix it, only to continually break things... and she still walks into a strangers house and repeatedly insists she can 'fix' things, even tho she is still just breaking shit!!!! Time to grow the fuck up!!!
Tess is Hedda’s sister and she is currently at the Harkness farm for Christmas with Hedda, Derek, Neve and Johnny. Ethan tells them Ed just had a stroke and his wife Dottie won’t be making her brownies and cookies for the auction to raise funds for the fire station’s roof. The scene with Tess making the pies by herself was great and so is the curse that happens when she uses magic.
Tess has not had an easy time of it. Her magic often goes awry and as with magic there’s a price to pay. Her price is truth which tends to cause awkward situations. Will is drawn to Tess on an intimate level even though he hasn’t hit 300 moons yet. The shadow demon loves to cause havoc which they solve. It’s a fun read set around family celebrations.
