Emerald is a performer at Gemstone Burlesque. After a dangerous relationship leaves her uninterested in romance, her career is enough to keep her happy.

Heart wrenching
I actually cried for this one sobbing ugly cry. I put myself in Onyx's shoes and put my brother in Jonah's shoes .The stories of Emerald and Jonah are horrendous especially for her because she had nobody, she had to fend for herself. In a interesting way it's a good thing because in that whole mess in itself it's s showing that "What doesn't kill, only makes you stronger." Jonah's story although it was heartbreaking it's what brother's do. My big brother would go to the ends of the earth to protect me. If he didn't have my parents or his own family, I'm the only thing he's got.

Emerald is by far my favorite Gemstone. Her tragic past mixed with Jonah's had my heart breaking. These two have suffered so much. I actually wanted to cry while reading their story. While all the Gemstones have a touch of sweet this one had the most but it also had the steamy side everyone has come to love in the Gemstone stories. Emerald and Jonah will steal your heart.

I love that two like souls that went through a lot of the same things, found each other.
