I started writing as a child, and won my first national writing award in sixth grade. I edited and wrote for my high school and college creative writing magazines, but then life got in the way and didn’t write fiction for years—I wrote for hire. Magazine articles (in music and travel), advertising copy, corporate newsletters and software manuals paid the bills. I have always been interested in the discovery of a person’s true nature and sexual identity, and began exploring different literary genres and structures to tell those important stories.

An excellent read

I always enjoy books that get me involved in the story. This is one of those books and one of those stories.

Granted, I have an excellent imagination but even with that it takes talent to pull me into a story.

This is the story of one person's journey from sadness to joy and all that occurred throughout that journey.

On occasion I have had to reread certain sections when I got confused as to whom was speaking. But that could be my problem with attention span. Regardless of the occasional misdirection on my part it was a pleasure reading this story and being part of it.

In a very short span in the life of Kevin and Katie they went from boring to ecstatic and from dull to full of life.

I highly recommend this book and want to thank the author for the effort and talent imbued in this story.

Thank you.

this was such a refreshing read, the story overall was a wild emotional ride that was pleasant till the very end. Despite its flaws I firmly believe this deserves a 5/5 and that this was money well spent. The major gripe I had with it was that sometimes it was a bit over the top in regards to certain themes, like putting it on there a bit much, but still a great story.

I enjoyed your novel Karin Bishop and will definitely check out more of your works as this was just great.

What a horrible book.

This one was really bad. 700+ pages of nonsense. The medicine is horribly written and badly researched. The book is rife with homophobic anti-lesbian tropes, bizarre and brazen misogyny, transphobia, transmisogyny, misinformation about intersex people. It's oddly vouyeristic and has a disturbing and weirdly sexually charged tone to it, which is even more offputting as the protagonist is 14. The protagonist is also insufferably pretentious. None of the book makes any sense and it just keeps going.

A Beautiful Story

This is the story of Kevin becoming Katie. It is amazing to watch the journey of this neutral person becoming the beautiful Katie. I loved every minute of it and all the characters were great.

Normally I want to know what happens next to a character. But honestly, this book ended so perfectly, there is no need for a sequel. It was just amazing.

Check it out!

What a fabulously wonder if you wonder read.

I have never found myself so enthralled in such a story before. I love to read book that you can't put down even for something so mundsnr as eating, sleeping or relief. It wasn't just one character that carries you through the end. I not to short cut through Epilogue and I'm so glad because sorely wanted dividends that don't always get.

Fashion Class

Another fantastic read from Karin she really explores the characters and storyline is amazing. I have to say that I have now read all her books on Amazon she is by far the best author I have had the pleasure to read regarding transgender issues and romance.

A wonderful read

This is such a well written book and such a interesting story. A times it’s a bit of a tearjerker too. The characters are well developed and you do get a feeling of getting to know them well. Definitely, one of my favorite novels.

A love story

Well written even if overly long, feel good story which supports that there is no pure males or females in this world. We are all mixtures of the two genders some more so than others.
