Elokon became the alpha of his tribe three months ago, and since then, the human towns nearby have sent a dozen women in tribute, and even the women of nearby dragon tribes have sought them out. Elokon’s tribe is powerful and any dragon would be pleased to bear a child of his bloodline.
But neither he nor Siron has seen a single woman that awakens the mating instinct. At long last, the High Dragon has passed down an edict: find a mate, or Elokon will be stripped of his power and banished. There is no place in the Dragonlands for an alpha who will not carry on the old bloodlines.
As the third daughter of an impoverished Earl, Adelina has no dowry and no prospects.
Desperate not to become a priestess, she makes a plan: when the High Dragon’s court comes for their historic meeting with the human king, she will be so alluring that she can steal the heart of one of the richest noblemen at court. She has worked late into the night, sewing herself a dress that will catch anyone’s eye.
During the festivities, she knows she can tempt someone into an indiscretion…
But much to her shock, that someone isn’t human. Furthermore, it’s not one someone, but two. And now that they’ve found their mate, Elokon and Siron aren’t planning to let her go.

REVIEW
New to me author. This is a good story, the characters I liked all but one who meets her maker later.
Adelina is from a poor family, she lives in a place where dragon shifters also frequent. She doesn't want to become a nun or sent to a convent so she chooses to dress herself up with hopes of finding a man. She has nothing to offer aside from herself.
Elokon is Alpha and Siron is his beta. Elokon has been ordered to find his mate.
They are both in shock when they do and she is both of their mates. Now there is one problem. Well maybe two. Not only do they need her to accept what they are. They also need her to accept both of them.
Sexy, Hot, Steamy and a bit of action. Yes this is a ménage book but it's not tasteless. I would have liked more story between the threesome.
“I was gifted this book for my reading pleasure and I am choosing to write a review for it.”
While I found this to be very interesting and entertaining read I would've liked to seen a little bit more build up between Adelina, Elokon and Siron instead of instant hook-up. Overall lots of action, intrigue, courtly betrayal, and of course steamy ménage. I do feel like some parts of the story could've been explains better seemed kinda rushed at the end. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no minority compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
As the third daughter of an impoverished earl, Adelina doesn’t have much chance of obtaining an advantageous marriage. Working feverishly, she fashions a gown which is shockingly appealing, catching the eyes of two newcomers.
Elokon and Siron are the alpha and omega of the dragonflight, a group of shape shifters. They share a special connection and both are stricken by Adelina’s presence. She is the one, the mate for whom they have been searching! Although Adelina fears the two stunning males, she cannot help but be drawn to them, and to a destiny none of them can avoid.
However, many among the dragon shifting contingent are less than delighted by Elokon and Siron’s choice. Adelina is human and unfamiliar with their ways. Will any child born of their union be a shifter, too, or will the ancient bloodline be weakened by her human blood? Unrest is brewing within the dragonflight and it comes to a head as the evil, snakelike Naga seek to destroy the shifters. A traitor in their midst puts all of them in danger.
Filled with magic, mystery, steamy menage a trois scenes, and compelling, driven characters, this book will beckon you onward until you reach the last page. The reader comes to the end, still thirsting for more – more adventure, more love, and justice at last!
this was sexy and sweet all at one time... the dragons were amazing written and yummy.. the human mate was amazing as well.. she was so strong and she loves her dragons so much . This was a wonderfully written and it made me feel as if I was a part of their world and their feelings. I loved it and I'm glad i got to review it
In a time when Dowry's were important to marriages and a third daughter of a lowly Earl could only dream of being condemned to a life at the nunnery, Adelina vows to make the most lovely gown during sleepless nights in an attempt to find a match at the King's ball.
The King has put a ball together in order to celebrate a treaty between humans and Dragon Kind. The Dragon delegation will attend and Dragon Alpha Elokon and his beta Siron attend in hopes of finding a mate before the deadline the High Dragon has imposed on him.
Adelina is resplendent in her gown and she catches the eye of Elokon and Siron, but it's not her decolletage that catches their eyes, but the mating call. Adelina is shocked that she would be persued by dragon shifters, it is unheard of in court. Will she deny the spark of love she feels in favor of a rich marriage of convenience?
The Amazon and review request blurbs made it sound like there would be a story here, and there wasn’t. Bride of the Dragons was porn making a half-assed attempt to dress up as fantasy romance—which would have been fine if the reader was made aware of that, rather than being tricked by a description that was more complex than the actual story. There was so much potential for this to be amazing, but no follow-through: there’s no character development, no romance or world building, and the underlying ‘conflict’ often got side-lined for the sex. I almost feel like what Ms. Coffey published was her rough plot-outline rather than the finished story; the basics were covered fleetingly and there were clearly holes where more information was needed.
Adelina, Elokon, and Siron COULD have been really awesome characters and their relationship had the potential to grow into something strong, beautiful, and worth rooting for. The actuality was that they sprang into the story fully-developed (i.e. they showed no growth, rather than that they were fleshed out and multidimensional) and they got naked together right away. Adelina’s pure-girl-who-needs-to-make-a-good-marriage protests were token at best and basically a page-waster, considering how quickly she gave in to the dragon pair. Her character was also inconsistent, and her actions tended to be at odds with her stated personae: an “innocent” girl doesn’t tell two guys she wants to come with them insider her. The interactions between Elokon and Siron, as alpha and omega, where a bit more detailed, but they also made the reader very aware of missing context and background. The three of them together just…had a relationship and we never got to see it grow or develop. I guess all that stuff happened in one of the random time jumps? Regardless, the lack made it impossible to connect with the characters and didn’t provide much in the way of reasons to pull for them, fear for them, or understand them.
The whole Naga-invasion thing, again, had the potential to be a good plot-driver, but it was so often forgotten and then picked back up again that it was totally ineffective and uninteresting. There were also jumps in time with no explanation or even a solid idea of how much time had actually passed, which was both confusing and annoying. We’re given zero backstory on the characters, the world, or the conflict and there was a glaring lack of context for a lot of what was going on here. Bride of the Dragons was basically all action of one variety or another, but no context, intent, or filler to help us connect with, well, anything. It truly read more like an outline than a finished product. I get the impression that this is how the author writes most of her stories, though.
For me, the only redeeming quality about Bride of the Dragons was the sex. Ms. Coffey penned a few decent trysts between the dragons and their bride. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough (for me, anyway) to carry an entire story. As for the editing…it was ok, but I spied enough typos to make me wonder if the author employed an editor for this. Another run-through wouldn’t be amiss to weed out things like extra quotation marks.
Bottom line: Meh. It’s hard not to judge this story based on what it could have been, because the reality was pretty disappointing. If you’re into shifter romance and don’t mind a lack of plot or character development, you might enjoy this. At least it was short, I guess.
Bride of the Dragons would be a perfect book for the beach/pool. The storyline is not complicated and it is pretty easy to pick up if you had to put it down. So no confusing plotlines to remember. Just a straightforward story with a bit of romance, a lot of sex, some intrigue and action thrown in.
I felt bad for Adelina during the course of the book. She goes from being desperate and willing to do anything to avoid going to a nunnery to being an outcast within Elokon and Siron’s Blue Dragonflight. She had to deal with Fera and Fera’s attempts to drive her out. I think that I actually said “grow a backbone” and “Stand up for yourself” to myself in a fit of book rage. I couldn’t believe how she let this woman walk all over her. I seriously wanted to go into the book and shake her (well Fera and Adelina….but mainly Adelina). But, things do change, for the better, and I was very happy with the end of the book.
I really liked how the author described the ménage between Elokon, Siron and Adelina and ultimately, the love story. See, the dragons mate for life with their soul mates. They know who their soul mates are as soon as they look at them and usually, the feeling is mutual. What was interesting in this case was that Elokon and Siron have to share a mate. They are the Alpha and Omega of their Dragonflight…which means that they balance each other out and they cannot have separate mates from each other. So, when Elokon felt that spark with Adelina, so didn’t Siron and fortunately, Adelina felt it too.
There was a lot of controversy around having Adelina marry them (well technically she married Elokon). Like I said above, dragons marry for love and for life….while humans marry to promote the best bloodlines and humans required dowries to marry. Which is true in the olden days, for the aristocracy required it and the marriages were marriages of convenience….marriages without love. Elokon didn’t understand how humans could do that. He also couldn’t understand the dowry (to be honest, neither do I….lol).
The sex scenes between Adelina, Elokon and Siron were pretty hot. Normally, threesome are not my cup of tea but this one was actually pretty good.
The sub storyline of the Naga was very interesting too and I liked the twist that the author threw in regarding them. Looking back, it actually made sense (read the book to find out what I mean).
How many stars will I give Bride of the Dragon: 4
Why: Great plot, great characters and great sex.
Will I reread: Yes
Will I recommend to family and friends: Yes
Age range: Adult
Why: Sex and violence
**I received a free copy of this book and volunteered to review it**
First off, I do not like erotic romances. They always have shallow characters and stories, with no character depth or characteristics whatsoever. There aren't even believable chemistry between the lovers, despite all the 'actions' because their character build is so shallow. But I have to admit, this is a wonderfully well-written book for an erotic romance (much to my pleasant surprise). Because even though it is insta love, the story itself and the characters are in depth and not shallow, and the book is filled with world building that involved monarchy, dragons, love, and power. The story flowed and wrapped up beautiful despite its short length, making it a wonderful and enjoyable yet not too long fantasy book with royalty and dragons. Which is refreshing and relaxing when someone is looking for a 'break read' from all the other complicated world building books and etc.
I like the medieval tone of the book, and I think the author through this made the world building very believable and overall very enjoyable.
And like I mentioned before, there were no shallow characters. Despite its short length, we can see depth and emotions through the characters, and the old saying: shown and not told. For example, just through the first 2 chapters, we were able to see Adelina's suffering from being the third daughter, 'the unwanted one'. We also see how she is treated horribly by her family, her sister in particular. Overall, this was a short erotic romance that surprised me with its well-written plot-line, world building, and character development. I will suggest this to readers who are just trying to read a short, relaxing and hot fantasy romance story that involves royalty and some forbidden romance.
I didn't hate this, but didn't especially enjoy either.
It had some good aspects, a lot of potential. But at the end of the day, I felt like I was reading a story written by an older teenager. The sort of thing I may have written when I was 16-17.
Immature dialogue, incomplete world building, and fast, juvenile solutions that were easily seen, long before the characters were supposedly able to.
Almost epic in the scale of story. Dragons fighting an enemy of another species, requiring an alliance with the humans to defeat. Completed outside of the story, easy, uncomplicated.
Sweet, simple, uncomplicated, HEA. At the end, all the threads are neatly resolved. How is this achieved? Who the hell knows, it all just falls into place, because it's the end of the tale. When I was a teenager, I would have adored this, been embarrassed by the sex scenes, and gushed over the romance. As an adult ... awkward, disappointed, frustrated by all that's missing, annoyed by what's needlessly included.
I really, really, wanted dragon romance in an epic world! This wasn't it. 16 - 17 year olds rejoice and enjoy.
Coffey’s menage shifter romance hits the spot for conflict between the dragon clan, humans, and other serpentine groups that want control. Not to mention a taste of hot sex between lovely Adelina, the human without a dowry, and the steeled bodies of the alpha dragon, Elokon, and his partner dragon, Siron. They go together, mate and all. The two male dragons know how to share, the leadership of their clan and their female mate. Adelina loves it all. Of course, there’s the brewing war set up by leaks from…that’s the problem. Who’s revealing their location, who’s jealous of Adelina, and who wants the power of the clan? I thoroughly relished Coffey’s quick-moving, high intensity, and steamy account of the magical dragon clan. If only the story were longer…well, don’t worry, the author treats her readers to an extended selection of her writing! She gives a handful of stories along with Bride of the Dragons all in the same purchase. Definitely an author to put on your list of favorites
Bride of The Dragons by Selina Coffey is a romance involving three strong individuals: Elokon, the alpha dragon; Siron his beta, and Adelina the human that is their soul mate. Together they make a strong compassionate team that rules the Blue Dragonflight.
I love strong female protagonist. Adelina's character develops from that of a third daughter without a future to that of a formidable Queen. She enters into the marriage with Elokon fully aware that she is entering a menage-a-trois. Even though the bedroom scenes are steamy, they are respectfully described as between equals.
Unlike other paranormal romances that I have read, Bride of the Dragons includes messages about peace, acceptance of differences, and leadership qualities. These themes are weaved delicately throughout the novel and culminate all too quickly at the end. This is a short book, only 30,000 words and because I was enjoying the read, I was sorry to see it end.
If you enjoy dragon romances, do not miss this one. It is sure to please.
I just love the paranormal genre where everything is possible, like the menage of two dragon males and a human woman.
Elokon is an alpha of the Blue Dragonflight and Siron is his omega, there can't be one without the other and this connection is only between those who become alphas and the ones who are destined to be their omegas. And because they feel what the other feels, they also share a mate. That mate is Adelina, who just wants to find a suitable husband. Never would she have thought that she'd be the married to a dragon shifter.
Selina Coffey has written beautifully their love story. And it is a love story even though for Adelina it starts out as an escape from life in a cloister. I loved how Elokon, Siron and Adelina compliment each other, together they are whole. "...her soul was complete, for she found kindness in Siron and fierce intelligence in Elokon, laughter and pleasure with them both. It was something she could never have imagined, and it had been hers, more wonderful each day." (54% Kindle edition)
Bride of the Dragons isn't just a love story. It is about accepting a stranger into your home and not giving into the fear of unknown. The story has also side plots that include hostile takeover attempt, war and fighting the enemies in all fronts.
Bride of the Dragons is very well written and the flow of the story is effortless. I enjoyed reading it.
This is a wonderful story about Elokon who is the Alpha of the Blue Dragonflight and Siron who is his Omega. Elokon became alpha of the dragons and comes from a very pure bloodline. He has been told to find a mate and at the same time he is working with the humans to ask for their help fitting a common enemy. During a celebration ball both Elokon and Sorin get a glimpse of Adelina and make a move to get her as she is their mate! Adelina is the third daughter and her family does not have a dowry for her so she is at the ball with a beautiful homemade dress looking for suitable husband to keep her out of the nunnery. The ball and their journey does not go as planned and they are faced with evilness, drama, happiness, redemption and forgiveness. Can the dragons convince Adelina that they belong together and the mating is a true connection? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This was an interesting story set in a world where dragon shifters and humans have an uneasy alliance with one another. There were a lot of prejudice following the mating of a human woman with two of the dragon shifter’s leaders, not because she was with two men (although that was initially a concern on the human side of the family) but because some of the dragons thought the alphas should mate with a dragon shifter female to “keep the lines pure” as it were. The young woman at the start of the story seems to hold herself in high regard and won’t let anyone deter her, so it’s interesting to see her become a sliver of the person she starts off as once she’s living with the dragons. I get that there are a lot of differences and that she feels out of place, but as the story progresses, her character just seems to get weaker and weaker rather than stronger and more defined.
The story started out interesting. Although the time period is never given, it seems to take place in kind of an alternate medieval time period, as there's lots of talk about doweries, royalty, and earls. I thought that was an interesting twist on the dragon-shifter theme. However, after the set-up and first few scenes, the book seriously derails.
The big problem for me is simply that nothing is fleshed out. There are so many new things introduced, and then resolved too quickly. The war with the snake people, the pregnancy, Adelina's run away stuff, the magic going on. It's a lot, and nothing feels complete nor actually necessary. The characters aren't very interesting either, and there's no real relationship building. There seems to be a lot more time devoted to Adelina's relationship with Sciron over Elokon, which is bizarre since Elokon is the alpha.
Adelina was the third daughter and planned on finding a mate with wealth that her parents didn't have but two Dragons, Elokon and Siron are Dragon shifters that know Adelina is their true mate. There is unrest with some of the dragon clan, they are not happy with a human as their queen. Someone wants to take the power away from their king and a conspiracy is developing. There will be war with the snake-like enemy and someone is helping them from within the dragon clan! Can Adelina, Elokon and Siron find the instigator within their clan and how deep does the betrayal go? I enjoyed their story and am sure you will too.
As the third daughter of an impoverished Earl Adelina has to find a rich husband that doesn't need a dowry. She decides that she will entice a rich husband during the visit of the Dragon court to the human king. Little did Adelina know that she will find not one but two men that are interested in her!
Elokon, the Alpha of the Blue Dragonflight, and Siron, his Omega, know the moment they see Adelina that she is the one, they have found their true mat. now they just have to make Adelina accept them as her mates. Bride by the Dragons by Selina Coffey is a Dragon shifter menage romance filled with betrayal, uncertainty, lust and love. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.
Although I did enjoy this quick read about characters finding their mates. There were some areas I wish were finished. For example, Adelina wanted to meet a nobleman for several reasons, one reason was so she could help her impoverished family. After hooking-up with her mates you hear very little about her helping her family. Also, what about that awful big sister? She sure did remind me of a Cinderella sister, lazy and bitter. I was looking forward to seeing Adelina deal with her sisters meaness.
I did like the loyalty the mates had to Adelina even though their people did not approve of her because she is human. I thought this was a good 1st story.
This was a great book how two dragon shifter felt the mating call with a human they got pregnant then the alpha had to go to war with the mages but they couldn’t figure out why then the wife found out what some of the people saying he had to find his true mate with a shifter then she found out that was saying they had one last night then she left but the boys were not having that and went out to find her they found her near frozen they warmed her out and talked to he they went back and found out who started the war and who went after their mate
This one just didn't work for me. Elokon and Siron are a pair and are looking for a mate so that they aren't stripped of their position. They discover their true mate and make their move. It is explained that Siron is around because he is more calm and thoughtful than Elokon and only together can they rule correctly. So I didn't understand why when an emissary from their feared enemy shows up, everyone thinks it's ok for Elokon to meet with them alone. If a little sex can distract them that badly maybe they really shouldn't be the ones in charge.
As the youngest daughter, Adelina faces the possibility of life in a nunnery unless she can find a suitable match. Elokon and Siron realize Adelina is their mate when they first meet. Since she is human, Adelina isn't aware of what that means. Will she agree to be theirs when they explain it do her? With a war brewing, the trio find that the enemy may be closer than they thought. I enjoyed this story a lot. Read it from start to finish without moving from my chair.

The first story about the Dragon shifters was ok. It did have a good plot and alpha males with sex scenes that where good also. The second story about a wolf shifter started ok but quickly went in a direction that ruined it for me. I stopped reading at that point and didn't read the other stories. I gave it a 2 because the 1st story deserve a 3 and the 2nd deserved a 1, so it averaged a 2.
Headed to the nunnery Adelina is out to find a husband and finds more than she expected. Elokon & Siron have been searching for their mate but is the timing all wrong with them preparing for war & trying to forge allegiance with humans? Adelina is strong, determined yet vulnerable. Elokon & Siron are exact opposites but compliment each other perfectly. It was great! I loved the amount of emotions they all deal with.
Elokon and Siron had almost lost all hope of finding their true mate until they spotted Adelina at the ball; she however had other plans. Luckily Siron was able to convince her to take a chance on loving them amidst a brewing war. I thought it was really great that some of the omega's traits were rubbing off on the alpha and helped him to see what was happening in his kingdom.

Magical sweetly sexy, emotionally thrilling, action packed romantic adventure filled with danger, mystery and an off the charts hot triad.
Elokon and Siron are scorching hot sexy dragon shifters looking for a mate so that Elokon can keep his place as alpha. Adelina is a sweet, sassy girl with no dowry and no prospects and is desperate not to become a priestess. Sparks fly when the they first encounter each other, loved every twist and turn in this highly entertaining romantic journey.
This is a sweet, and steamy hot shifter menage romance, Bride of the dragons, with lovable characters and so much more. A great story about unconditional love with suspense, action and romance. You definitely want a bite of this deliciously wicked read, you wont be disappointed
I received this advanced readers copy as a gift and I am voluntarily submitting this review.
An exciting story with intrigue, betrayal, uncertainty, passion & romance. Sexy dragon shifters, Elokon & Siron, find their mate in Adelina but things don’t go smoothly. These characters are well written and I enjoyed reading their story and the twist at the end, I did not see coming. Great work Selina. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is a short romance book that is a nice read. The characters are well developed and I liked the premise of the shape shifters and the humans coming together. The book is quite steamy and while this isn't a genre I typically read, I found myself getting caught up in the plot and the story. It unfolds nicely and holds your interest.
