The Tiger's Bride by RE Butler
This is quite a sweet story with a big of drama thrown into it. Charisma is the last golden-furred tiger shifter and he is desperate to meet his soulmate otherwise he will go feral. Valerie loves reading shifter romances and is dreaming of a man just like the one from the books. Until one necklace and a spell changes her life forever. Fast paced story, good story line, plenty of drama and steamy scenes.
Mate Hunt by Sydney Lea
I enjoyed this story very much. Love how Eva and Jackson finally found the way to be together. Until past comes back to haunt Jackson and nearly destroys them both.
Love the flow of this story, it is sexy and tense.
Haunted by Love by Lori King
Now this story surprised me. I did not expect this at all. I very much enjoyed it. Shame it is just a short story, it all ended far too quickly. I wanted more.
Joker's Trick or Treat by Audra Hart
I struggled to get into this story. But I'm glad that Joker and Jenniene got their HEA after a century spent apart.

Loved this story. Bloom's world is crumbling around her until she receives a letter than will change her life forever. Freeman does not want to share what he thinks is rightfully his. And then there is this strange attraction he feel towards Bloom. Secrets will be exposed, scary ghosts uncovered and relationships between neighbours put right.

This was an interesting story. It took of straight from the start and for a short story it is so full on till the end. Well done.

I loved this story and love story within it. But I really did not enjoy the old dragon language. I could not relax while reading it.

A story about two unlikely lovers who needs to go into the depths of Hell to fight for their love.
Once Upon a Hallows Eve by KD Jones
Fab story. It takes off from the start, full of drama and action. Love the interaction between Rita and Luke. Enjoyed the ending.

This is a sweet story. Plenty of drama crammed into it too. Glad fate brought Jace and Eva together and they fought for their future together.

Omg I knew this was gonna be epic but it was so much more. I absolutely freaking loved this box set. I mean OMG what's not to love. Do you love shifters? Do you love big sexy hot as sin Alpha men? Do you love chicks with sass? Do you love hybrids? Do you love dragons, vampires, Wolves, fae, and tigers oh my. So many excellent stories in one place. How can you not love it. I mean you got 12 of in my opinion 12 of the best authors out there in one book for like a buck. I would gladly give so much more for just one of these stories. Do you love panty melting sex scenes? Do you love when there's a bad guy who needs his arse kicked? Do you love when there is a happy ending? Then this box set is for you. If you don't like hot sexy guys claiming their sexy mates or bad guys who are need of an asre kicking then this is not for you. If you love a book that can take you away for awhile then pick this box set up you got 12 to choose from.

Paranormal lovers....get ready!!! This is chock full of all things that growl, bite and go bump in the night!! A real smorgasbord of delectably hot shifters who will stop at nothing until they get what..or who they want. And when they do, the pages ignite with pure erotic passion. Each and every character is well written and the story lines will attack you and drag you through to the very end. What a delightful way to bring in Halloween. Scary never looked so good!

Sometimes it's hard to read compilations from various authors because the tone is always changing. That being said, I truly enjoyed this collection of PNR books. Each book, while written by a different author, had a paranormal element, be it witches, wolves or vampires. It was a fantastic Halloween box set and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to experience a variety of new (or new-to-you) authors in the PNR genre.

The Tiger’s Bride by R.E. Butler
This author knows how to write a story with drama. I found this to be a wonderful start to this PNR boxed set; it is a fast paced shifter story, with a good story line about soul mates, plenty of drama and steamy scenes. Even though this is a fast paced story, I found the author was able to put in enough back stories so you don’t over think about the characters past.
Mate Hunt by Sydney Lea
I do enjoy new to me authors; I enjoyed this story very much. Love how the characters finally found the way to be together. I loved the flow of this story, with the intense action and the drama, and let’s not forget the sexy parts. This author knows how to give her alpha characters a great dominate attitude.
Haunted by Love by Lori King
Great Halloween story, I liked this story a lot! You truly can’t have a collection like this without a tragic ghost story. This author gives it to you fast, but not so fast you get lost. Great story of torment, lost lives, curses, and sibling dares. I found this story to be entertaining; had some great love scenes and a few moments that made me smirk.
JOKER’s Trick or Treat by Audra Hart
This is a new to me author; I love second chance stories with sacrifices, packed full of action, fast paced, with just enough back story to complete the story and keep you interested. This defiantly gave me what I love when reading PNR, along with some hot and naughty sex. Very enjoyable story and I really hope this is becoming a series.

This author is also new to me. I love it, another ghost story mystery with a twist. When reading stories like this I am so happy to be a reader. This is so far one of my favorites in this set. It just seems that the stories get better as you go. You’ve got murder, betrayal, magical curses and very hot steamy spiritual sex. I love the characters, sassy heroine meets sexy shifter ghost.
Hunter’s Mark by Melissa Snark
So many new to me author’s in this boxed set. It amazes me that I have not read this author before. Holy moly! I loved the writing style, the action, the sassiness of the heroine in this story. I will be continuing this series, “Her Loki Wolves”.
Tears for Her Dragon by Julia Mills
It took some time but as the story went on, I finally was able to enjoy the story. I don’t know why but it took some reading to truly enjoy this, its probable just me. Even though the books in this series can be read as stand-alone stories, I would highly advise you to read them in order to get the most enjoyment from the series. It wasn’t until characters from the other stories enter this story that I got some enjoyment out of it. I have read from this series before and enjoyed them, but need to catch up to this story in the series.
Dark Lovers by Elle Boon
I was very excited to get to this story even though this author is still newish to me. I have only read one book from this author; I loved it and bought others from either this series or another. I have found her writing style to be fast paced, lots of action, descriptive, with strong characters and some sweet sexy moments. I will be reading from this author again. Even though this boxed set is an accumulation of several short stories, this story is not lacking any description to where you get bored.

I abso-freakin-lutley loved this story; another new to me author with a fan-freaking-tastic story! I am so happy to find such a great writer. This author gifted us with murder mystery, secrets, betrayal, all packed into a fast paced action packed story. Not only that but she gives us the sexy heroine and the bad ass, mouth watering alpha shifter with not just big hands and big feet (winky face).

I have read and enjoyed a few books from this author and I am so happy that to say, this story was a pleasure. It was a great shifter story with solid characters. The heroine did not just stand by while the shifters fight, she was strong, smart, and courageous. This story had just enough back ground story to keep you interested and not bored, plenty of action and hot nakey time.
The Valley of the Shadows by Melissa Bell
Wow, incredible! Again, another new to me author and I am just in love. This story has all kinds of supernatural from shifters to zombies, yes zombies. I really like the way this author set up her story, she gives you little bits of background on each of the characters so you get to see how honorable each of them are. The action keeps you reading in to the late night with the chant “let me finish this one chapter” to end up reading the next. I will be checking out her other series she has such as “Five Brothers Series” sounds like my kind of series.
Hallowed Destiny by Candace Blevins
This boxed set has introduced me to several new to me authors. I found this story to be very enjoyable but I do need to disclose that this story goes over kidnapping, abuse, and rape so for those who have issues with those types of triggers. I love shifter stories with strong heroines and sexy alpha males and this gives that to you. Though this was not my favorite of the set it still is in my top eight. I will be looking into this author and her other series and this series as well.

Demons, shifters, ghosts and vamps...what more could you ask for? Some really amazing stories from some of my favorite authors. Haven't finished them all yet, and will update as I get them finished.
The Tiger's Bride - R. E. Butler - The last golden tiger shifter is looking to find his mate before time runs out. They never expect the danger they face. Really enjoyed this one, fairly new to this author.
Mate Hunt - Sydney Lea - Jackson finds his mate unexpectedly after a long time and doesn't plan on letting her slip through his fingers ever again. There is a rouge wolf running around and he has some issues for sure. I really liked how this one ended and would love to get to know more about Sam and his sister. Pretty new to this author as well.
Haunted by Love - Lori King - A ghost/raven shifter never expected to be solid again, but he is. If only it can last more than one night. This was awesome!! I didn't know she even wrote shifter books, but now I just have to go find them.
JOKER's Trick or Treat - Audra Hart - Joker is a former slave/blood wolf/immortal having a really crappy week and about to get the surprise of his life. This was hard for me to get into but I ended up really enjoying it. First book I have read by this author.
The Haunted Mate - Bryce Evans - Bloom has just found out that she is in her grandmother's will. There are some pretty tough rules to follow but she plans on giving it a go. Freeman is all alpha and sometimes a total ASS!! lol I really loved this one! Bloom is so strong, smart and feisty. Would love to see more from this pack and its neighboring pack as well. Also more RJ! :)
Hunter's Mark - Melissa Snark - Victoria is a shifter and Daniel is a hunter. He needs her special skills to help him find a friend that has gone missing. He also wants another date. Maybe he can get both, maybe not. He offers her some ghosts and she is up for helping him out. These two were fun to read about. I loved that he didn't know everything and didn't pretend too. I am so glad she was able to help the girl and thought the giant ghost was a fun twist.
Tears for Her Dragon - Julia Mills - I loved this book. Kyran is black dragon/banshee and Caitlyn is a banshee gypsy. These two have been through so very very much bad stuff, and when they find each other it is truly magical. The only thing that confused me was the epilogue, but that just made me want to go read more from the author. Will have to do that very soon!!
Dark Lovers - Elle Boon - So much love for Creed and Raina!! So what happens when the son of Satan/angel meets the Vampire princess/shifter?? One heck of a good book. Raina is taken from her home only to find her mate in Hell. Then Kellen shows up. I love Kellen and Creed. I need these two for Christmas, please!!! So many great one liners and a wonderful story as well. I want to know so much more about Kyrene and Live. I was really enjoying Kyrene maybe we will see more of Live in the future??

WOW!!!! What a epic read!!! I love shifter stories with Lori King and Elle Boon being some of my favorites. And while I loved all these stories, Audra Hart and Bryce Evans stories were tied for my favorites!! I really, really, really hope they do more with their stories, especially Bryce!! If you love stories with all types of shifters, then you NEED to get this book! Find a nice comfy chair, have a glass of wine handy and dive right in to what is a wonderful world of shifters!

This is just one of the stories in this collection and it's Lori King's story. I loved it. It was short, sexy and left me wanting more. Each story in this collection is great and I"ve even found some new authors. Of course, there are some of my favorites like Audra Hart, Elle Boon, Bryce Evans and Sydney Lea. If you love paranormal stories, pick this book up and settle in for a wonderful time!!!! No a bad story in the group!!

So many spectacular stories filled with ghosts, ghouls, shifters, and more in this perfect box set made just for Halloween! I loved each and every story too. From Lori King's Haunted By Love all the way to, Elle Boon's Dark Lovers, and each book in between. Bryce Evans had a great story too. I honestly couldn't put this down until I had each one read. Short (but not too short), a few a bit spooky, and some with some great unique type of paranormal creature that had me enthralled.
You will for sure think Shifters Hallows Eve is the PERFECT type of Box set filled with many great stories that fit the Halloween theme beautifully! I loved how each one was different and completely unique. They were all very captivating and I can't wait to see what else is in store from each of these authors! This is a wonderful collection of stories fitting to be read not only during the Halloween season, but anytime of year. This collection has stories written by my favorite authors. I could review each story individually, but I will just talk about two of them.
The first is Haunted Love by Lori King, This is a really different kind of book. Gideon had waited many years for Eden. Now that he has her, he will not let her go without a fight. I loved how Gideon remained untouched and spoke the way he did when he was cursed. It was like we go back in time only we didn't. Edens snark was funny.
The second story is Dark Lovers by Elle Boon. You can't get any darker in the Paranormal world than the son of Satan. Like wow! I was so happy that Raina didn't know what was happening to her until she was safe in Jenna's realm. I love the Fae btw. The fact that the Iron Wolves, Vampires, the Fey and Creed all team up to save Raina just makes me happy and read forgetting to do things like feed my kid or myself.

And all of this was written by twelve amazing authors; Audra Hart, Bethany Shaw, Bryce Evans, Candace Blevins, Elle Boon, Julia Mills, KD Jones, Lori King, Melissa Bell, Melissa Snark, R.E. Butler, and Sydney Lea. Not only did I enjoy the twelve stories that this boxset includes, but I found twelve new authors!

WOW!!! This box set of paranormal stories are amazing. If you love sexy Alpha men and sassy funny women, then this box set is definitely for you. This box set as ups and downs, action, romance, funny moments and sexy hot moments. These authors did really great with putting their stories together to keep you reading and wanting more. THE TIGERS BRIDE BY R. E. BUTLER
I love it when the heroine of a shifter story likes reading shifter books and longs for them to be real. Its like their future inner beasts are giving them an insight into what their future might hold. Good job with this one as a spell is going to call Valerie to her mate whether she is ready to believe yet or not.
Charisma is almost to the point where he fears he will go feral from living without his mate. Being the last of his kind he is at the point where he will do anything to get her to appear, even go to the local coven for a seeking spell. The spell will be cast on his mothers medallion and once cast, after his mate has been drawn to him, he will have 24 hours to complete the mating or she will disappear from his life for good and have no memory of him. The first meeting doesn’t go too well for him though – not to self Charisma next time don’t shift right in front of her when she has no idea your kind even exists.
After going to a flea market with her mother Valerie is drawn to a medallion with a tiger on it. Once in her hand she feels it belongs to her and that she is needed somewhere. Then after the woman selling it comes over all funny telling her she needs to put it on before sundown she swears she hears a tigers roar. Thinking her imagination is running away from her, especially after the books she’s been reading, she takes it anyway longing to put it on. When she blacks out and is transported to another place and sees a tiger turn into a man she starts to think it may have been a mistake. Well that is until she gets a closer look of the mouth-watering man that is. His explanations sound unreal but after reading so many shifter books she had always thought she would jump at the chance if one was real and thought she was his mate.
Passions collide, to be expected with mates, but danger lingers with some of the coven. Dark magic is closing in and Valerie is soon to be in danger. Lets hope Charisma can get her through so they can have a future.
MATE HUNT BY SYDNEY LEA
Eva is back in her hometown after being away at college. One person she isn’t sure whether she wants to see or not still has the ability to make her heart race. The man from her past that she fell for hard, not that she thought he’d noticed. Though to be fare he may have stayed away for a reason – 1 he is 8 years older than her and 2 he was the deputy sheriff for her father. She always felt a pull towards him and after her college roommate filled in a few blanks on shifters she got the impression she might be his mate with how he acted. Well he did make sure to mark her with his scent when she went away, enough that it would stick around for a while. This theory did have its drawbacks when she visited and bumped into him with another woman though. Feeling crushed she stayed away longer but now she’s back face-to-face with him and doesn’t know what to do – especially with the heated look he gives her.
Jackson knew Eva was his mate from the moment he saw her but her being younger, not having lived yet, he let her go ever hoping she would come back. Now she has he has to pull out all the stops to woe his mate. Shame a rouge wolf is in the area causing trouble. With him being alpha he needs to take control of the situation but it comes at a cost of ignoring Eva on their date. This in turn makes her run back to Cassidy’s place, his beta that was amusing to say the least. When he comes banning on the door she doesn’t want to let him in but its not because Eva’s upset its because she knows they’re going to have sex. Well with being mates they won’t be able to help themselves. Eva might be mad to start with he soon changes her mind. Temperatures are soon rising high with these two but with dangers looming they need to keep their eyes open for what’s coming their way.
HAUNTED BY LOVE BY LORI KING
This was a funny mix of ghostly pasts and present day/night naughty fun. Eden’s sisters have given her a birthday dare to spend 12 hours in Black Castle. She may seem confident when in the car and telling her sister to drive away but when she starts to head out in the dark her natural fears start to rise. Everything is amplified when the sun goes down. When she makes it to the castle after hearing weird noises on the ground level you might think she would turn back but it doesn’t stop her from making her way up to a balcony to set herself up for the night. Her only friend being a nosey raven who seems to like to listen to her talk but maybe not sing. Though the real reason is a bit simpler, he couldn’t hold his shift without turning back into his human ghostly form.
Gideon has been living a cursed life for over a century. Trapped in his crumbling home living half a life as a ghost/raven shifter. The first time he saw Eden she was a child but he was drawn to her, ever waiting for her to return. Now she is close enough to touch, if only he could. For years the only time he felt anything was when he was in his raven form. Now he is close as Eden enters his home, staying until he fears he might shift in front of her. While trying to catch his breath he rests outside the room only to shock himself with the fact he can feel the coldness of the wall. His senses seem to be returning and his ability to touch come forefront. Feeling elated he gets pulled back to Eden, his need too strong to deny, where she is currently trying to do yoga on her head. The moment she sees him she screams. Shock lasts for a moment but fear doesn’t really enter her mind the longer she is near him. Seems fate has pulled them together for a reason and they should just go where it takes them. Shame they aren’t the only ones alive in the castle. Dark forces are at work to cause Gideon and those he cares for pain. They need to stay together to battle what’s coming but what happens next is uncertain. Is Gideon in his true body for just a short time or can they break the curse. Will love prevail?
JOKER’S TRICK OR TREAT BY AUDRA HART
Zeke has a yearly ritual, one of self-pity for the love he’s lost. A century has past but he can’t let her go, she was the one, his mate. Being a shifter makes it that much harder to let go. So every time Halloween comes around he drinks himself into a stupor. Holding off on giving into his need for blood, something a bit dangerous for his kind. His friend Tara, a vampire witch, knows he needs to be sated to tells him to pick someone and be done with it. Blood and sex go hand in hand but it’s different this time. When a female party girl offers herself to please him his thoughts are twisted with a scent he thought he’d never smell again, Jenniene his mate. Past and present collide until its over and he sees it was all in his head. Well maybe not, as when he looks up he stares straight into the eyes of his mate, his very pissed off mate mind you. Though she doesn’t really have a leg to stand on as she lied to him back when they were together about what she really is and has let him think she has been dead this whole time.
Jenniene knew it was going to be difficult facing Zeke again and ask for his and the Twin Raven MCs teams help. She just didn’t expect to see so much of him enjoying another women’s mouth. Anger aside she knows she needs their help with the little girl she carries. A rare shifter breed, a sabretooth just like Zeke’s leader Blood – don’t mess with him! She needs them to understand the danger coming not just for the child but mortals alike. A ghoul army thinks the child is the key to opening the veil between worlds and ending the human race. As the danger mounts so does her need to explain the past. She knows she can’t take the hurt back and doesn’t expect to be forgiven but he needs to know everything, even if he doesn’t like it. Seriously girl you think he doesn’t want you! He has spent a century mourning your so-called death and not been able to let go. Deep down I think he might have felt she’d come back somehow. Together again but is this going to be a trick or treat with them this time round? I’m going with treat. Liked that all the other paranormals gave the story a bit more of a twist as you never really know who someone is, what they can do or what is going to happen next.
THE HAUNTED MATE BY BRYCE EVANS
To say Blooms day goes from bad to worse would be putting it mildly. First she gets evicted from her house and then gets news from a solicitor that her long lost grandmother has died and she is needed in Tennessee for the will reading. You might think this could be a silver lining thing going on but when her car catches fire with her in it after she arrives you start thinking maybe not. It appears that when her grandmother Rose died she left her house and a fifty percent share in the land and business for Scott Butler Farm to Bloom. She will get a million dollars but only if she stays and works for a year, if she leaves she gets nothing.
The one person in the room who is not so happy about a stranger coming in is the person who got the other fifty percent share in the business, Freeman. It seems Scott Butler Farm has always been linked to their families and Roses wishes were for it to continue, with a little help from another lawyer RJ. Seems this town is a little different than most with a shifter pack in tow at the farm and a vampire helping Bloom out – not that she knows what they really are yet. Freeman doesn’t want Bloom there, well he doesn’t want to want her there but as she is he tries to man up and deal with it. Doesn’t work so well with him, hot and cold and then hot again with this wolfs feelings but the moment his sees things a little clearer, that Bloom is his mate, his views soon change.
Hot and heavy when they both let go and give in to their desires but with a mysterious ghost causing trouble if he won’t believe her she will leave and he’ll lose her for good.
HUNTER’S MARK BY MELISSA SNARK
Loved the chemistry between Victoria and Daniel. They might have been on a case together but it didn’t stop the sparks from flying, well after a few misunderstandings get sorted out first. Mainly why he didn’t call her after the one and only date they had.
Victoria is a wolf shifter, priestess spirit-speaker and Daniel is a hunter. Their kinds have had a treaty for past 30 years mainly due their fathers and only work together when the need arises. The need this time being that Macan Guffin has gone missing, possibly due to a ghost as similar disappearances have happened all within the same area with the same family generations back.
This is almost a story of two parts as along the way to finding Macan they try to help a resident ghost at their hotel, Charity. A ghost who won’t move on without her husband Joseph who she knows was murdered too. Seems dark forces are within the hotel keeping them apart, created due to the demise of a truly wicked person – a murderer perhaps? Helping them might give them clues for Macan’s whereabouts. While searching his room they come across some notes explaining a bit more about the man who was lost years before. Talks of a monster might be a clue, as it seems Old Skelly protects the gold mines he was looking for. He might be only bones but he packs a punch. Now all they need to do is find Macan, help Charity and her husband Joseph move on, banish the dark forces from the hotel and take on Old Skelly. All in a days work with these too. Here’s hoping the next time they set off it won’t be so chaotic.
TEARS FOR HER DRAGON BY JULIA MILLS
Kyran has been drawn to Caitlin for days with no real clue as to why. He just knows that his dragon feels very protective of her so needs to watch to keep her safe. At first he thought he was unseen but she soon opens the door and says he might aswell come in – well if her guard dog Duke will let him.
Caitlin has felt his presence from the moment he was outside; aside from sensing with her gifts as a banshee/gypsy witch hybrid, she could also tell that he’s her mate. She just needs him to stay around long enough for her to tell him. He does spook easily, with good reason though as he has only recently escaped the clutches of the evil Eve O’Baoille and doesn’t want to go back – well other than to kill her that is. He’s in luck really as Caitlin has as much, if not more, reason to want her dead for what she has done. Kyran soon learns that Caitlin is someone who won’t give up easily on what’s hers – case in point climbing a mountain to convince his stubborn ass that they are meant to be together and together can take down Eve. Well if outside forces and friends turned enemies don’t get in the way first.
His brethren were a fun mix at the end that lightened the mood after a bit of a messy scene with another witch. Hope I’m not the only one a little confused with the epilogue, though I really want to know who is in that box. The old dragon language and his Scottish terms slowed me down a bit with trying to figure out what he was saying but after a while I got the gist.
DARK LOVERS BY ELLE BOON
Well this one was a hot read that took you to the depths of hell, quite literally. Raina doesn’t have a good start with being kidnapped by a vial creature and when she figures she’s in hell things look worse. Seems she has been chosen to be Satan’s new toy to play with. When she fears she’s going to be attacked by the creature a saviour appears. She can’t see him at first but his voice and presence make her inner wolf sit up and take notice. Figures she’d get dragged to hell to find her mate, let’s hope he can get her out.
Creed could sense his mate the moment she was brought to his father’s realm and knew he needed to think fast to get her out. Good job his angel mother is on his side to lend a hand. Well at first he thinks he’s safe when they leave hell but when the Fey Queen pops up saying they got sent to her realm he’s a bit wary. Raina too until she senses her brothers on her and realises she must be their mate. Chemistry is seen from the start and its not long before they have the need to mark each other. They just have to find a way to outsmart the devil to keep each other safe. How hard can that be?
Interesting mix of side characters. Thought Raina’s brothers were a bit crazy in a fun way which is good as they are mated to a bit of a bonkers Fey Queen. Kellen the Iron Wolf alpha was fun and had a good bit of banter with Creed – though I think that’s more to do with Creed as its how he acts with most other characters.
ONCE UPON A HALLOWS EVE BY KD JONES
With shifter killings happening in the area the only link alpha Luke can see is that all of the dead brought something from the same Halloween specialist gift shop in town. To figure out whether they are behind it Luke decides to take over his fathers’ furniture shop opposite for a while to check out the owner. First impressions count a lot and he doesn’t make a good one with her.
Rita and her friend Mindy, being neighbourly and wanting a closer look at the shirtless hunk across the street, go to make introductions. Mindy gets a welcome hello but as soon as Rita says she’s the owner of the specialist gift shop his personality changes. One sniff and he all but turns into an asshole in front of her. Wanting to just forget the whole thing she tries to brush it off but with past rejections rearing their ugly heads it gets harder. Deep down she knows she wants to give him a second chance but doesn’t really think he will. She shouldn’t worry too long though as he can’t seem to make himself stay away.
Luke can’t believe she could really have anything to do with the killings. He also has can’t understand at first what his wolf is trying to tell him when she is close. When he gets his beta Riker to look into her he realises she is being targeted too for some reason and more importantly that she is his mate. Now he just needs to figure out who the killer is, stop them and then try and win over his mate. He has some bridges to build with his manners but his charm and need to protect her soon win out. Passions are building between them but danger is on the way.
THE WOLFS GHOST BY BETHANY SHAW
Jace went to broker a deal with the mountain pack but things soon turned sideways. With his pack mates’ dead, him injured and on the run, there’s not much he can do before help arrives. Logic would have him run to his packs territory but a pull towards a disserted house soon has him changing direction. For some reason he knows if he gets there he will be safe, he just needs to get there before being caught.
When something crashes through Eva’s front window she is not impressed. Especially when she sees the mess. She can’t believe a wolf shifter would dare enter her home knowing what she could do to them but something about him makes her pause. She can tell he was running from the pack outside not with it and the saying enemy of my enemy is my friend pops into her head. She can see he’s injured so levitates him upstairs not before noticing his very naked body in the process making her blush. Once awake she soon finds herself explaining whom or rather what she is – a ghost. Once a year though on All Hallows Eve she gets her powers and form back. For 95 years she has wanted revenge against the alpha – Atticus – of the mountain pack for killing her and her family. Seems Jace wants revenge too but not as much as he wants her when he realises she is his mate. But how can a ghost trapped within the house she died in be mated to a wolf? Can the mate bone bring them together? Lets hope they find out before trouble comes crashing through to destroy them both.
THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOWS BY MELISSA BELL
Being the only child and daughter of the grand alpha of the Colorado’s Central Custodians Division tradition dictates that they have a tournament of sorts with the eldest unmated sons of the alphas of the north, south, east and west on All Hallows Eve to decide who will become the new grand alpha and her mate. They must enter the valley of shadows, pick a gift and present it to her. Whichever she picks the man will be her mate and she does have four fine men to chose from. Boon from the east who is all about honour, Eos from the West who is a bit of a playboy, Hunter from the South who is a protector and Ronin from the north who is a doctor.
Seems Rainah is not so impressed with being sold off to the highest bidder as she sees it. I love it when the heroine of a shifter story likes reading shifter books and longs for them to be real. Its like their future inner beasts are giving them an insight into what their future might hold. Good job with this one as a spell is going to call Valerie to her mate whether she is ready to believe yet or not.
Charisma is almost to the point where he fears he will go feral from living without his mate. Being the last of his kind he is at the point where he will do anything to get her to appear, even go to the local coven for a seeking spell. The spell will be cast on his mothers medallion and once cast, after his mate has been drawn to him, he will have 24 hours to complete the mating or she will disappear from his life for good and have no memory of him. The first meeting doesn’t go too well for him though – not to self Charisma next time don’t shift right in front of her when she has no idea your kind even exists.
After going to a flea market with her mother Valerie is drawn to a medallion with a tiger on it. Once in her hand she feels it belongs to her and that she is needed somewhere. Then after the woman selling it comes over all funny telling her she needs to put it on before sundown she swears she hears a tigers roar. Thinking her imagination is running away from her, especially after the books she’s been reading, she takes it anyway longing to put it on. When she blacks out and is transported to another place and sees a tiger turn into a man she starts to think it may have been a mistake. Well that is until she gets a closer look of the mouth-watering man that is. His explanations sound unreal but after reading so many shifter books she had always thought she would jump at the chance if one was real and thought she was his mate.
Passions collide, to be expected with mates, but danger lingers with some of the coven. Dark magic is closing in and Valerie is soon to be in danger. Lets hope Charisma can get her through so they can have a future.

Eva is back in her hometown after being away at college. One person she isn’t sure whether she wants to see or not still has the ability to make her heart race. The man from her past that she fell for hard, not that she thought he’d noticed. Though to be fare he may have stayed away for a reason – 1 he is 8 years older than her and 2 he was the deputy sheriff for her father. She always felt a pull towards him and after her college roommate filled in a few blanks on shifters she got the impression she might be his mate with how he acted. Well he did make sure to mark her with his scent when she went away, enough that it would stick around for a while. This theory did have its drawbacks when she visited and bumped into him with another woman though. Feeling crushed she stayed away longer but now she’s back face-to-face with him and doesn’t know what to do – especially with the heated look he gives her.
Jackson knew Eva was his mate from the moment he saw her but her being younger, not having lived yet, he let her go ever hoping she would come back. Now she has he has to pull out all the stops to woe his mate. Shame a rouge wolf is in the area causing trouble. With him being alpha he needs to take control of the situation but it comes at a cost of ignoring Eva on their date. This in turn makes her run back to Cassidy’s place, his beta that was amusing to say the least. When he comes banning on the door she doesn’t want to let him in but its not because Eva’s upset its because she knows they’re going to have sex. Well with being mates they won’t be able to help themselves. Eva might be mad to start with he soon changes her mind. Temperatures are soon rising high with these two but with dangers looming they need to keep their eyes open for what’s coming their way.

This was a funny mix of ghostly pasts and present day/night naughty fun. Eden’s sisters have given her a birthday dare to spend 12 hours in Black Castle. She may seem confident when in the car and telling her sister to drive away but when she starts to head out in the dark her natural fears start to rise. Everything is amplified when the sun goes down. When she makes it to the castle after hearing weird noises on the ground level you might think she would turn back but it doesn’t stop her from making her way up to a balcony to set herself up for the night. Her only friend being a nosey raven who seems to like to listen to her talk but maybe not sing. Though the real reason is a bit simpler, he couldn’t hold his shift without turning back into his human ghostly form.
Gideon has been living a cursed life for over a century. Trapped in his crumbling home living half a life as a ghost/raven shifter. The first time he saw Eden she was a child but he was drawn to her, ever waiting for her to return. Now she is close enough to touch, if only he could. While trying to catch his breath he rests outside the room only to shock himself with the fact he can feel the coldness of the wall. His senses seem to be returning and his ability to touch come forefront. Feeling elated he gets pulled back to Eden, his need too strong to deny, where she is currently trying to do yoga on her head. The moment she sees him she screams. Shock lasts for a moment but fear doesn’t really enter her mind the longer she is near him. Seems fate has pulled them together for a reason and they should just go where it takes them. Shame they aren’t the only ones alive in the castle. Dark forces are at work to cause Gideon and those he cares for pain. They need to stay together to battle what’s coming but what happens next is uncertain. Is Gideon in his true body for just a short time or can they break the curse. Will love prevail?

Jenniene knew it was going to be difficult facing Zeke again and ask for his and the Twin Raven MCs teams help. She just didn’t expect to see so much of him enjoying another women’s mouth. Anger aside she knows she needs their help with the little girl she carries. A rare shifter breed, a sabretooth just like Zeke’s leader Blood – don’t mess with him! She needs them to understand the danger coming not just for the child but mortals alike. A ghoul army thinks the child is the key to opening the veil between worlds and ending the human race. As the danger mounts so does her need to explain the past. She knows she can’t take the hurt back and doesn’t expect to be forgiven but he needs to know everything, even if he doesn’t like it. Seriously girl you think he doesn’t want you! He has spent a century mourning your so-called death and not been able to let go. Deep down I think he might have felt she’d come back somehow. Together again but is this going to be a trick or treat with them this time round? I’m going with treat. Liked that all the other paranormals gave the story a bit more of a twist as you never really know who someone is, what they can do or what is going to happen next.

To say Blooms day goes from bad to worse would be putting it mildly. First she gets evicted from her house and then gets news from a solicitor that her long lost grandmother has died and she is needed in Tennessee for the will reading. You might think this could be a silver lining thing going on but when her car catches fire with her in it after she arrives you start thinking maybe not. It appears that when her grandmother Rose died she left her house and a fifty percent share in the land and business for Scott Butler Farm to Bloom. She will get a million dollars but only if she stays and works for a year, if she leaves she gets nothing.
The one person in the room who is not so happy about a stranger coming in is the person who got the other fifty percent share in the business, Freeman. It seems Scott Butler Farm has always been linked to their families and Roses wishes were for it to continue, with a little help from another lawyer RJ. Seems this town is a little different than most with a shifter pack in tow at the farm and a vampire helping Bloom out – not that she knows what they really are yet. Freeman doesn’t want Bloom there, well he doesn’t want to want her there but as she is he tries to man up and deal with it. Doesn’t work so well with him, hot and cold and then hot again with this wolfs feelings but the moment his sees things a little clearer, that Bloom is his mate, his views soon change.
Hot and heavy when they both let go and give in to their desires but with a mysterious ghost causing trouble if he won’t believe her she will leave and he’ll lose her for good.
HUNTER’S MARK BY MELISSA SNARK
Loved the chemistry between Victoria and Daniel. They might have been on a case together but it didn’t stop the sparks from flying, well after a few misunderstandings get sorted out first. Mainly why he didn’t call her after the one and only date they had.
Victoria is a wolf shifter, priestess spirit-speaker and Daniel is a hunter. Their kinds have had a treaty for past 30 years mainly due their fathers and only work together when the need arises. The need this time being that Macan Guffin has gone missing, possibly due to a ghost as similar disappearances have happened all within the same area with the same family generations back.
This is almost a story of two parts as along the way to finding Macan they try to help a resident ghost at their hotel, Charity. A ghost who won’t move on without her husband Joseph who she knows was murdered too. Seems dark forces are within the hotel keeping them apart, created due to the demise of a truly wicked person – a murderer perhaps? Helping them might give them clues for Macan’s whereabouts. While searching his room they come across some notes explaining a bit more about the man who was lost years before. Talks of a monster might be a clue, as it seems Old Skelly protects the gold mines he was looking for. He might be only bones but he packs a punch. Now all they need to do is find Macan, help Charity and her husband Joseph move on, banish the dark forces from the hotel and take on Old Skelly. All in a days work with these too. Here’s hoping the next time they set off it won’t be so chaotic.
TEARS FOR HER DRAGON BY JULIA MILLS
Kyran has been drawn to Caitlin for days with no real clue as to why. He just knows that his dragon feels very protective of her so needs to watch to keep her safe. At first he thought he was unseen but she soon opens the door and says he might aswell come in – well if her guard dog Duke will let him.
Caitlin has felt his presence from the moment he was outside; aside from sensing with her gifts as a banshee/gypsy witch hybrid, she could also tell that he’s her mate. She just needs him to stay around long enough for her to tell him. He does spook easily, with good reason though as he has only recently escaped the clutches of the evil Eve O’Baoille and doesn’t want to go back – well other than to kill her that is. He’s in luck really as Caitlin has as much, if not more, reason to want her dead for what she has done. Kyran soon learns that Caitlin is someone who won’t give up easily on what’s hers – case in point climbing a mountain to convince his stubborn ass that they are meant to be together and together can take down Eve. Well if outside forces and friends turned enemies don’t get in the way first.
His brethren were a fun mix at the end that lightened the mood after a bit of a messy scene with another witch. Hope I’m not the only one a little confused with the epilogue, though I really want to know who is in that box. The old dragon language and his Scottish terms slowed me down a bit with trying to figure out what he was saying but after a while I got the gist.
DARK LOVERS BY ELLE BOON
Well this one was a hot read that took you to the depths of hell, quite literally. Raina doesn’t have a good start with being kidnapped by a vial creature and when she figures she’s in hell things look worse. Seems she has been chosen to be Satan’s new toy to play with. When she fears she’s going to be attacked by the creature a saviour appears. She can’t see him at first but his voice and presence make her inner wolf sit up and take notice. Figures she’d get dragged to hell to find her mate, let’s hope he can get her out.
Creed could sense his mate the moment she was brought to his father’s realm and knew he needed to think fast to get her out. Good job his angel mother is on his side to lend a hand. Well at first he thinks he’s safe when they leave hell but when the Fey Queen pops up saying they got sent to her realm he’s a bit wary. Raina too until she senses her brothers on her and realises she must be their mate. Chemistry is seen from the start and its not long before they have the need to mark each other. They just have to find a way to outsmart the devil to keep each other safe. How hard can that be?
Interesting mix of side characters. Thought Raina’s brothers were a bit crazy in a fun way which is good as they are mated to a bit of a bonkers Fey Queen. Kellen the Iron Wolf alpha was fun and had a good bit of banter with Creed – though I think that’s more to do with Creed as its how he acts with most other characters.
ONCE UPON A HALLOWS EVE BY KD JONES
With shifter killings happening in the area the only link alpha Luke can see is that all of the dead brought something from the same Halloween specialist gift shop in town. To figure out whether they are behind it Luke decides to take over his fathers’ furniture shop opposite for a while to check out the owner. First impressions count a lot and he doesn’t make a good one with her.
Rita and her friend Mindy, being neighbourly and wanting a closer look at the shirtless hunk across the street, go to make introductions. Mindy gets a welcome hello but as soon as Rita says she’s the owner of the specialist gift shop his personality changes. One sniff and he all but turns into an asshole in front of her. Wanting to just forget the whole thing she tries to brush it off but with past rejections rearing their ugly heads it gets harder. Deep down she knows she wants to give him a second chance but doesn’t really think he will. She shouldn’t worry too long though as he can’t seem to make himself stay away.
Luke can’t believe she could really have anything to do with the killings. He also has can’t understand at first what his wolf is trying to tell him when she is close. When he gets his beta Riker to look into her he realises she is being targeted too for some reason and more importantly that she is his mate. Now he just needs to figure out who the killer is, stop them and then try and win over his mate. He has some bridges to build with his manners but his charm and need to protect her soon win out. Passions are building between them but danger is on the way.
THE WOLFS GHOST BY BETHANY SHAW
Jace went to broker a deal with the mountain pack but things soon turned sideways. With his pack mates’ dead, him injured and on the run, there’s not much he can do before help arrives. Logic would have him run to his packs territory but a pull towards a disserted house soon has him changing direction. For some reason he knows if he gets there he will be safe, he just needs to get there before being caught.

Once awake she soon finds herself explaining whom or rather what she is – a ghost. Once a year though on All Hallows Eve she gets her powers and form back. For 95 years she has wanted revenge against the alpha – Atticus – of the mountain pack for killing her and her family. Seems Jace wants revenge too but not as much as he wants her when he realises she is his mate. But how can a ghost trapped within the house she died in be mated to a wolf? Can the mate bone bring them together? Lets hope they find out before trouble comes crashing through to destroy them both.

Because when you finally get a break evil has a way of making trouble...what will happen? Is there a long term future for them? Who is out to ruin their forever life?

Ok another author I know and love... The story is about Bloom and Freeman... Blooms grandma dies and leaves her with an inheritance. But in order for her to get it she needs to follow the instructions on the will.. She is defy to try but I jerk of an alpha male named freeman will make difficult but totally worth the headache...you get a big emotional ride when trust gets questioned but in the end will they be stronger together or apart?
Hunters Mark - Melissa Snark
Melissa Snarks Loki Wolves series are awesome... There's a mystery to solve and you have a strange combination to solve it.. a wolf shifter and a hunter working together to find a missing hunter. Can they do it? Can they fight the steamy chemistry between them? Are they going to be able to be to do anything being that there are Ghost? Seriously it's a fun read with a lot of things against them.. But in the end will they uncover the Missing person and still be together?

I have to say this book was very interesting to read.. I love PNR books but Scottish men are so hot to me.. Lol and then she went and made him shifter.. I swooned.. From the beginning to the wedding to just plain fate literally tear worthy.. The story is of Kyran and Caitlin finding healing and fighting the obstacles that hurt or stand in their way.. Will she heal his pain? Remember she is truly gifted with sight, but what does she see.? It's a book not to miss..the characters really inspire.. Thank you...
Dark Lovers by Elle Boon
I love Elle she is a genius in her stories and this one was no exception. From beginning to end your kept at the edge of your seat. Where you find good you will always find evil because that's just life. Ying and yang effect.. I loved that she brought my guys from the Iron wolves like Kellen.. But what is amazing is how the emotions began even before Creed met Raina. There was an unspoken connection.. But he will keep her safe at all cost.. But safe from what? Or who? And why? And to add more you get The funny fighting between Kellen, Damien and Lucas which was really entertaining . While the danger is real the romance doesn't lose heat.. This was a fun book that brought adventure in new characters lives but also brought back some favorites heroes.. Every book Elle writes only addicts you more and more to her writings. Like an addiction

Love this amazingly fantastic book... An Alphas is faced with conflict when dead shifters keep showing up on his land. After looking closer the only connection is a costume shop bag.. Luke comes to the conclusion that maybe the killer is the owner or someone there.. What he definitely didn't expect to find was that the owner was not only not the killer but his mate.... But being the alpha male he is he screwed that whole first impression thing.. Now will have to finds ways to win her heart while finding the real killer.. Read and see what happens..

Another author need to me but very captivating story.. The story is about Destiny trying to solve the puzzle that her mind has set. She needs to know what is real.. But danger is every where .. In comes This sexy as sin Zeke to protect her and try to give her closure but after everything is closure best.. See Destiny was kidnapped and thinks her mind is going crazy and seeks to find the truth with Zeke by her side.. Great fast paced read with an emotional roller coaster...

Dark Lovers by Elle Boon
I love Elle she is a genius in her stories and this one was no exception. From beginning to end your kept at the edge of your seat. Where you find good you will always find evil because that's just life. Ying and yang effect.. I loved that she brought my guys from the Iron wolves like Kellen.. But what is amazing is how the emotions began even before Creed met Raina. There was an unspoken connection.. But he will keep her safe at all cost.. But safe from what? Or who? And why? And to add more you get The funny fighting between Kellen, Damien and Lucas which was really entertaining . While the danger is real the romance doesn't lose heat.. This was a fun book that brought adventure in new characters lives but also brought back some favorites heroes.. Every book Elle writes only addicts you more and more to her writings. Like an addiction
Once upon a Hallows Eve by KD Jones
Love this amazingly fantastic book... An Alphas is faced with conflict when dead shifters keep showing up on his land. After looking closer the only connection is a costume shop bag.. Luke comes to the conclusion that maybe the killer is the owner or someone there.. What he definitely didn't expect to find was that the owner was not only not the killer but his mate.... But being the alpha male he is he screwed that whole first impression thing.. Now will have to finds ways to win her heart while finding the real killer.. Read and see what happens..
The Wolf's Ghost by Bethany Shaw
Bethany is new to me but what a beautiful read.. The story is about a wolf on the run from some crazy wolves, who happens upon a rundown house. He does know why but it's calling to him.. Inside he finds a woman trapped and sets to help only to discover she is his mate... Now he not only has to protect himself but her at all cost.. Why was she in the house? Who and why was he running from?
Valley of the Shadows by Melissa Bell
Mrs Bell is yet another author new to me. Her story is truly an adventurous read about battles by knights which in her where wolves but not just any wolves Alphas sons to get the hand in marriage of a powerful Alphas daughter..They are forced into a mate hunt. But things have a way of happening .. Read and see trust me it's got a twist of events.. Ps there's Zombies..
Hallowed Destiny by Candice Belvins
Another author need to me but very captivating story.. The story is about Destiny trying to solve the puzzle that her mind has set. She needs to know what is real.. But danger is every where .. In comes This sexy as sin Zeke to protect her and try to give her closure but after everything is closure best.. See Destiny was kidnapped and thinks her mind is going crazy and seeks to find the truth with Zeke by her side.. Great fast paced read with an emotional roller coaster...

These books are wonderful alpha-male shifter books that revolve around All Hallow's Eve. Watching as shifters find their soulmates, their one true loves, and their tails of woe (pun intended) at times, they end in HEA's and leave you smiling and yearning to read more. There are 12 books in the series, written by all kinds of wonderful authors. I hope to find a collection of these authors again in the future. I found a whole lot of new authors that I have not had the pleasure of reading before and I cannot wait to find more of their books to read! Seriously hot romance scenes, that have me wanting to reread this for Halloween!

Brilliant mix of love stories from the last golden furred tiger shifter to ghosts & an MC. Each story is complete & leaves you wanting to find out more from the individual authors . My personal favourite was haunted by love , after being dared by her sister Carly , Eden has to spend a night in black castle , a ruin of a mansion near their grandmothers old home . Cursed to live in castle black Gideon first watches Eden as a raven then as a man , Eden thinks he is playing a part for halloween but is incredibly attracted to him , when she finally believes him the man that cursed him tries to take Edens magic & destroy Gideon once & for all . Theres something in here for everyone & even though all the stories are short there is no lack of depth to them & the characters in them .

We have another winner just in time for Halloween. No matter your heart's desire, you will probably find it in here. There are witches, vamps, ghosts, shifters, among others. All of these stories are well written and fleshed out well based on the length. You never feel like you only got a snippet. Although, they will probably leave you wanting for more. If your favorite author is in here, now is the time to give the others a try. Even if you just know you like Paranormal, by all means, give these people a chance. You won't regret it.

An excellent boxset chockfull of interesting stories from authors who are old favorites and some who are new to me. A few of my favorites were:
A Tiger's Bride by R.E. Butler (one of my all time favorite and go-to authors), Tears for Her Dragon by Julia Mills, Haunted by Love by Lori King, The Haunted Mate by Bryce Evans, Dark Lovers by Elle Boon, and Once Upon a Hallow's Eve by KD Jones. Really though, all the books were great in their own way and I recommend reading all of them.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this boxset and my opinions are my own.

Mind blowing
With having not read some of these authors before I didnt know what to expect but to my amazement each of them know how to make you feel like your inside the book living it and escaping the real world. I highly recommend reading this and hope you love it as much as I did

Many are part of other series but enjoyable. I am however biased as there was a new Julia Mills Dragon guard story in this collection which I love ♥♥♥♥♡

I really liked this collection of stories. Each of them we fun to read. The authors did a wonderful job.
Mate Hunt by Sydney Lea
Eva returns home after years away with the plan to keep away from the man that broke her heart. However, it doesn't take long for Jackson to find her, she is his mate after all and she is finally home. With their relationship still new, a threat appears that could ruin their happily ever after. Jackson just got his mate back, he won't lose her again.
The Tigers Bride - RE Butler
A lone golden-furred tiger shifter is all that is left in the world. He needs to meet his mate by All Hallows Eve or he will turn feral and won't be able to change back into a human. He asks for some help from a local wiccan group for a seeking spell. It works and me meets his mate. With a time stamp on the spell, he needs to convince a human that she is his mate, outsmart a traitor and plan for a future he wasn't sure he'd get.
Hunters Mark - Melissa Snark
Can a wolf shifter and a hunter work together to find a missing hunter while trying to ignore the chemistry between them. Can they overcome many obstacles that are put in their way and make it out ok? I liked the premise of this book but I did feel like there was a lot going on in it.
The Wolf's Ghost by Bethany Shaw
A wolf on the run is drawn to a rundown house. It is calling him in a way he can't describe. Inside he meets his mate who is trapped in the house. I liked the authors take on the two paranormal beings and how they figure out their happily ever after.

What do you do if you keep having visions that you can't explain. You know somethings to be true, but yet you get visions of others. Well if you are like Destiny, you feel like you need to go back to the spot the spot you were kidnapped to see if she can figure it out or get closure. There she sees something that she can't explain. She runs into the man that stood by her as she recovered from her kidnapping. With him by her side she is able to figure out what happened that night and if she is going crazy. I really liked the protectiveness the Zeke showed towards Destiny.

Luke decides he needs to meet the owner and find out if they are the killer. Luke is very surprised to find the owner is a she and his mate. Having made a very poor first impression, Luke has to set out and find a killer, apologize and woo his mate and also protect those that he cares about. I really liked this book!!!
The Haunted Mate by Bryce Evans
I really enjoyed this book. I have read many paranormal books but this one caught me off guard on a few different things. Mrs. Evans changed up a few of the traditional themes that seem to be very prevalent in shifter books. I liked that she kept me on my toes. For example, while there was jealousy on the part of Free, it wasn't an issue when Bloom hung out with Buck. This isn't the case in most shifter books I have read, it seems like the female can't even look at another male.
Dark Lovers by Elle Boon
I read this book and it wasn't a new concept but yet the way Mrs. Boon wrote it, it felt like it was. The concept of light and dark and good and evil. I loved the protectiveness that Creed showed Raina even when he hadn't met her, he just sensed her in the beginning. I also love the bantering between Kellen, Damien and Lucas. This was a fun book that brought in new characters but also brought back some favorites.
Jokers Trick or Treat by Audra Hart
What would you do if the woman you loved and you thought was dead suddenly shows up very much alive and needing your help. This was the premises of the book. While I liked this book, there were places it dragged especially in the beginning.

I found this book to be interesting. I loved the fact that the female character was shown as being very strong even though she was blind. I also really liked that both main characters were able to see inside each other to see their true being not just what was on the outside. My only real issue with this book was sometimes it was difficult to understand Kyran.

This is a brilliant collection of great stories from varied authors. I couldn't pick a favourite.... but I really really liked Bryce's tale, nor did any disappoint me.
If you love paranormal then you'll love this set, there were lion shifters, wolf shifters, vampires, ghosts, dragons, banshees and Tiger shifters and so much more.
Some authors I didn't know and will be happy to look for more of their work.
Great job authors, well worth the read.
