Reviewing this book would be like reviewing economics itself because it presents economics in its true sense. It lives up to the title and presents Indian economic development after independence underlining the strengths and challenges. However, most of the chapters were very general, so i couldn't gain much knowledge. The book is easy to read as it is made for high school students.
