My Love and His Loyalty: A Hood Fairytale
A woman’s Love comes straight from her heart, a man’s Loyalty comes from the pit of his soul and together that’s one of the most powerful combinations on earth but in a world full of jealousy and hate it proves to be somewhat impossible.
Trina is a natural born hustler, who will do anything to see her family win. When her husband is brutally murdered she did the only thing she knew how to do and that was to survive. She steps in as the head of the family business and with her kids by her side the Shaw family is headed for excellency. He vowed to never give his heart to another woman, that is until he set his sights on the naturally beautiful Starr and they connect in a way that neither has ever felt before. When Stone’s loyalty to what he is trying to build with Starr is tested and leaves him with a decision that may cause Starr to never give them a real chance, will he do whats and be the man he is trying to convince Starr he is or will be fall back into the trenches of his doggish ways?
Slick was the brains of the operation; he could get you any kind of information that you needed straight from his cellphone. He made sure to keep the family on their toes and enemies at arm’s length. When the dead end relationship with his current girlfriend Kimmie proves to be more than he is willing to deal with, he up and leaves just in time to run into the gorgeous Paige. Too bad Kimmie has a secret that could very well put the whole family in danger and ruin any chances that he may have at happiness.
Chaos is the baby boy and adopted by Trina and Trav when he was 12 years old, he was subject to things that no young boy his age should ever have to go through. His troubled past keeps him from loving anyone who is not family, including his long time situationship with the sexy Megan who would give anything to be a permanent fixture in his life. Too bad the only thing Chaos can do for Megan is keep her satisfied in the bedroom anything else is completely out of the question. Tired of waiting for Chaos, Megan attempts to move on with her life but secrets and drama push these two right back into each other’s arms, but can Chaos be what Megan needs in her life?

This book was really good. I loved all the brother even though they was crazy. I loved the fact that they all found a girl that make them happy. I can't wait for part 2 because that ending was something else.

The Shaws were a hot mess. Mama was right, when she stated that with her boys', there was never a dull moment. It seemed as if each and every single one of them had commitment issues, when it came to settling down. I felt that that was about to change, because the boys' just needed the right type of women, to make each and every one of them commit. All of their ex's wasn't behind anything but their status, and their pockets.
I can't believe that Baby would lower her standards in sleeping with a married man.... she should've known that it was only a matter of time that Joc's drama would come her way. She had a man that would have cherished her, but just like her brothers, she had commitment issues on settling down. Baby did have a legitimate reason, with turning only 21, however, a good man that genuinely loves you is hard to come by, but she will learn.
I'm so happy that MaMa found happiness again after her husband was murdered. It was only a matter of time, that Knowledge would get caught up to how he betrayed the Shaws. Wayne and MaMa was watching his every move. Knowledge could run, but he most definitely couldn't hide, with a woman half his age. I know the drama is just beginning with the Shaws. Let me start on part 2, because I can't wait.

LOVED IT!
This book was good those brothers are a mess and Baby is spoiled...now I love momma Trina and glad she getting her happy back. Can't wait to get started on part 2. Besides the few typos awesome story truly enjoyed.

Ms. Nikki Brown has proven that her writing ability is not a fluke!! Ms. Nikki Brown once again came locked, loaded, and shot a bulls-eye with this one!!! The relationship that the brothers had with one another and their mother was great to see. While they each had their flaws and quirky personalities the one thing that they all had in common was the love that they had for Trina and their loyalty towards one another. Their sister Baby was the epitomy of a young girl raised with all boys. They catered to her every whim and spoiled her rotten all while giving her the princess treatment that she deserved. I was a little perturbed with her spoiled ways at times but at the end of the day I had to remind myself that she was only 19 years of age and she was entitled to show a modicum of immaturity. At the end of the day, however, when it came right down to it she was just as on point and ruthless as her brothers and mother. She didn't pull any punches and she was determined to charter her own course and determine her own destiny without the aid or guidance of a man. I think I like Blaze for her but I also understood where she was coming from about being tied down while she was so young. The only character flaw that I saw was her willingness to deal with a married man. I hate the era of the side chick and for her to denigrate herself and allow this man to have what should have been considered priceless, I just felt a wave of disappointment almost as if I was her mother or big sister. The fact that you enabled me to empathize with the plight of everyone of the members of the Shaw family stoically speaks to your writing ability and the gift that you have to pull each reader into the world you ultimately create. I think of all of the boys Chaos and Stone were my all-time favorites. Their no-filtered mouths and no-nonsense approach to saying exactly what they were thinking made for many moments of comedy. The level of treachery and disloyalty that flowed from Johan, Kimmie, and Knowledge appeared to be limitless. For Knowledge to kill the man that had been nothing but loyal to him all in the name of gaining power to impress a woman who clearly only looked out for self was absolutely freaking disgusting. If that wasn't bad enough then to see how Kimmie declared that Profit was her soulmate but wanted to stay with Stone because of the lifestyle that he afforded her was yet another example of what some women will do for material things. They weren't the main characters but these two women definitely took the cake when it came to how scandalous some females can really be. As for Wayne and Trina's relationship made me feel a certain way but then I had to remember that the living have to keep on living even after you lose the one person that you loved with your entire being. Travis was deceased but the impact that he had on all of his boys and his wife was felt throughout the entire story. All in all I think you have another winner on your hands Ms. Brown. I must say that you gave us a 5-star book and because of your dedication to your craft you have proven that you are here to STAY!!! You are making a gallant effort to follow in your mentor, K.C. Mills' shoes and I must say that you are WINNING!!! In a nutshell if you didn't get the message that i was trying to convey go and get this book immediately because you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Since part 2 is out, I thought I would reread part 1. I had forgotten how bomb this book is. Nikki Brown never disappoints when it comes to giving us sexy leading men with swagger out of this world and a story you just cannot put down.
The Shaw brothers and their mother Trina are nothing to play with. And they each have found a love interest that they're trying to build on and strengthen. But their sister, Baby, has a secret that causes major drama at her 21st birthday party.
Grab this wonderful street love story and you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to dive into part 2.

Amazing story go read !!
Great storyline will have you laughing at the foolishness. The shaw clan don't play no games and they cuss like sailors. Trina is the boss and after her husband death she runs a tight ship with her kids along for the ride. Stone,slick chaos and baby are all crazy. Snakes are popping up trying to take them down but they are ready to handle it together.

Stone, Slick & Chaos
Banger from the gate!! I could not put my Kindle down while reading this book. It had everything from drama to sex. The characters interaction with one another especially family was on point. Seriously waiting on part 2!!
