Aside from convincing his three year old daughter the importance of eating vegetables and his older son the necessity of space in relationships, retired MMA world champ, Logan "Unbreakable" Kellar, has one important goal in life right now, and that's making sure his pregnant wife knows how much he loves her. However, when their family vacation takes several unexpected turns, unforeseen decisions will have to be made. Will Logan be able to take the sucker punches life throws or will everything he knows as family become just a blear?
One day, I will read about The Kellars and their extended family and not shed a tear. Sheesh! I love this series because each new story feels like one, long epilogue. And this family keeps growing and growing and growing!
Hopefully with the next one, someone else will end up preggers. Give Maxx's uterus a break!
I am in love with the Kellars. Not just Logan, but all of them. They are such a special family and I want to be blessed enough to belong to that family (could you arrange that, Xavier?). Maxx is such a strong female lead that just reading about her makes my backbone grow a little. Logan, oh Logan, he tries so hard to be the perfect husband, father, friend, uncle, brother, and he thinks he messes up all the time. But we, the readers, know that that is what makes us love him. He doesn't realize that perfection is not possible but he tries so hard, how do you tell him he can't be perfect?
This episode of the Kellars story had me in tears shortly after I started the book. But along the way, I experienced anger (how do you do that to your children?), joy, laughter, but Xavier always brought me back to the tears. But that's not always a bad thing. Guess you'll have to buy and read the book to understand what I mean. ;)
I want to go on vacation with each and every one of these characters! Even though I laughed quite a bit with this one My heart broke as well, but once again things worked out the way there were intended to.
Oh my! Get all of my favorite characters together on a trip and all the amazing things happen. There are some surprises and twists that kept me on my toes. I'm so in love with all of them. When I want to be a part of their world, I want to be a part of this amazing family that they've built, I don't want to let go. Perfection!
This is a big love story. Maxx and Logan are the biggest part of this family expanding beyond blood. It's about a deep abiding love that has choices being made in the name of love but sometimes selfish. Not wrong but poor execution. I loved seeing everyone in vacation with all of the fun and banter that goes along with it. Really wanted to smash Dean and Jude's mom in the mouth. No child should ever have to go through that. Yes, Dean needed closure but this was a sad way to do it. Once again Xavier Neal has opened her heart and soul to give us readers a reason to smile, laugh, cry, give eye roll and swoon with all of the love and forgiveness in this story. Faiths total acceptance of Jude shows the heart of a child is the purest love ever. All of them make up a family I would want to be in. My family is pretty good.
O.M.G.... What was that? How good was that? Jude and Grace...little bit was right, there were two!
O.M.G. Can this series get any better? This time, I was laughing so hard, this was just too, too, too funny... Logan man, you will always and forever stay bae. Man I wan me a Logan and a Dean for sure... And Maxx, can you actually spell lucky? Can you? This was for sure the epitome, best ever and I don't know if I want to shattered this little bulb I am in🤔😤🍼... I actually was hoping that Maxx had twins since her dad was a twin, but I guess not, but who knows with MS. Sneaky Neal here, she might throw a wrench and give the Kellars another run for their money😜😜 Ok, let's take the plunge and read the last book
I have a few mixed emotions on this book.... I loved it but I'm sad it's the last book in the series. The emotions were flying around . Rage one minutes then complete utter despair the next. Shear joy one minute then complete and total ugly crying. Complete shock at Lydia.... well not complete , who didn't see that one coming??? Can you say beotch?? In the end, this book and series really came through with emotion and girth. It kept you interested and wanting to binge read everything( which I did )
I'm so in love with the whole Kellar-Hart clan it's almost too much for me to bear! I love the growth of Maxx, Logan, Erin and Luke. The additions of C.J., Tony and Stuart made their family grow. With the addition of the Kid and Maxx and Logan getting married, made the series that much better. I just can't get enough of the crew! And this novel just tops off the continuation of the love and drama and always to remember when family say "I gotchu".
I just can't get enough of this family. Ms. Neal I am a fan! I happened to read the two books in the Hockey Gods series and loved them. Next read I read Gamble, wow!, That directed me to Dean and Megan's story and now Logan and Maxx. I recommend the entire series. Love it!
Well, I love the whole gang actually! They laugh and joke, but the are also so full of love and support to one another. Can't wait to see what the Fam gets into next. Loved this series!
If you have not read this series you are missing OUT!!! Logan, Max and the rest of the gang have what I call a phenomenal family Dinamic that is both loving And hilarious at the same time but let’s not forget scorching hot romance.
Blear is another “KO” for Xavier Neal! She instantly pulled me back into the Kellar family, and I was so happy to be with them again. Maxx is expecting their second child, and she and Logan are doing better than ever. He and the entire extended family take a vacation to help Maxx relax before her delivery. As they are just beginning to enjoy their time together, unexpected events occur which will again change the family dynamic in the Kellar household.
Maxx and Logan have grown so much since the first time I met them in Blind. They have conquered so many obstacles together. Neal does a phenomenal job of accurately depicting how exhausting motherhood can be and the guilt we all experience when we feel like we have nothing left to give. I’ve always loved Maxx, but I loved and respected her even more in Blear. She’s such a good “Momma.” We also get to see an incredibly vulnerable Logan. He realizes he isn’t unbreakable, especially where his family is concerned. There is nothing sexier than a man who adores and loves his family and will do everything he can to protect and cherish them.
I loved being with all the characters from the previous novels again. Neal continues to show readers the importance of family, and it’s much more than blood that creates that unconditional bond. It’s the love, joy, and sadness we share that truly makes a family. This is an emotional read, so you might want to have some tissues handy…but be assured…it’s not all sad tears, there are happy ones too. I love being with the Kellar clan anytime I can, and I know their stories will end at some point, but until then, I’m going to gladly soak up every moment I have with them.

WHOOOOOO!!!! The Senses Family is back, and ready to play!! I have loved this series since the beginning, and I swear the books just keep getting better. And the family even funnier. I devoured this book so fast cause their are so many twist and turns in this one.
We have the Kellars gearing up for a family Vaca to let lose and have some very needed R&R. Especially after everything that has happened. Logan wants Maxx to relax before the new baby arrives and he's trying really hard to be more involved in the kids lives. My poor Maxx is all over the place, her dang hormones are literally everywhere! But she does have a one track mind on one thing though....... And who doesn't love sex while being pregnant! **** insert cheesy grin ****
The rest of the gang though... I just couldn't get enough of. Erin is a trip in this one. I think she needs another book with my man!! ** HINT HINT XAVIER ** And you have to love Luke and all of his healthy habits, but I swear I would at least try to drown him a few times.
There is some serious stuff that's about to go down in this book that I'm not willing to talk about. It had me screaming, and wanting to knock someone out. And then I wanted to cry for this other little character so many times. Xavier hit me in feel goods in this this one, then stomped on my non existent balls.... Well played Xavier, well played!
All I know is that I must have more of this family! I am seriously going to miss them when the series ends, let's just hope we can get a few more out of her! Happy Reading Everyone!
A family vacation for the Kellar/Senses family is just what they need. Only when a revelation comes to light it throws the Kellar family into turmoil. Are Maxx and Logan strong enough to fight? Or will the stress all become too much?
I'm a huge fan of the Senses family and there hasn’t been one book in this series yet that has left me disappointed. Blear is no different; Xavier Neal takes us on vacation with this wonderful extended family where blood isn’t what ties them together and shows us just how true it is that blood does not always mean family!
When times get tough or life becomes complicated, this family pull together and support each other. They say things as they are and each in their own way give the love, support and advice without an ounce of hurt or regret.
This book is full of humorous as well as heart breaking moments. They are balanced perfectly and it makes this story an easy enjoyable read with that added drama/suspense that a story needs.
My love for these characters has only grown more and I didn’t think that would be possible. The ‘kid’ Dean has grown into a bright young man that you admire. Kellar has stepped up to the challenge of being a husband, father and lover and proven himself over and over. Maxx is the glue that keeps the family strong and together. As one they can beat anything and as one this family will give help wherever they can even if it proves to be their biggest challenge yet.
To fully enjoy this series, I recommend reading this series in order starting with Blind.
I really cant say enough great and amazing things about this series and this author! She is, and will always be my #1 favorite author. Her books pull you into the characters and the story lines. I laugh and cry and curse at these books.
Logan "Unbreakable" Keller is seriously a one in a million man, thankfully lol. I've fallen in love with him and yet i still want to take his face in my hands and shake some sense into him sometimes over the crap that comes out of his mouth or the actions he takes. You can actually feel his love for Maxx and you know that even when hes screwing up, he honestly doesnt mean to and will do everything and anything possible to make things right with her!
Getting to know this couple and their family members has been a time i will never forget. Each member of this family makes it what it is and nothing would be the same if even one of them disappeared. Every book in this series was a must read for me. You cant leave out any of them. I just had to know how each of their journeys to happiness went.
This peek into their lives now, after everyone has had their Happily Ever After, shows that even after a family bond is established, there is always more that can happen and will happen. It also shows what it means to REALLY be a family, blood or not, and how everyone pulls together to get done what needs to be done and that love really can create a real family and keep it together.
So we have another Senses story and this may be my favorite Maxx and Logan one. It starts with everyone taking a vacation together. That right there kind of makes me jealous lol. Not only are all the couple's able to afford this outrageously nice place but the fact that they are all able to go together. There's small problems before they even leave but nothing that can't be handled. When they get there something happens that may cause problems but no one sees it coming. I absolutely loved this story even though Logan isn't exactly my favorite character in this series. I know that that's weird being most of the series is about him and Maxx lol. Basically if you have read any of these books and care about any of them you really need to read this one. It's told from Maxx and Logan's povs but the story is about the whole family.
I was given an eArc in exchange for a honest review. Thank you.
The family is back together! This book is full of twists and turns. Not gonna lie, also had me tearing up and yelling at my kindle about what was going on. Have the tissues ready! This book of course has all of the awesome humor that we have come to love from the Kellar family. Their bonds have never been stronger. Logan wants Maxx to relax before having the baby (when does Maxx ever relax??), The Kid and Pretty Megan grow as a couple, Erin is freaking hilarious, C.J. is the man we all love, Stuart and Luke are still to die for and are hilarious. Faith is just as spunky as ever (no denying she is Logan's). The gang is just how they should be. I can't say much without giving anything away, so if you loved the Kellar family before, don't hesitate to pick this book up and fall in love all over again.
I have feel in love with this whole series. I feel like I am a part of the family. I love being able to see into Maxx and Logan's life again. This story shows the real strength that we can get through anything as long as we stick together with the ones we love. Sometimes there are never enough words to describe how a book makes you feel. Everything you think of is inadequate for how you truly feel. This is one of those books. Xavier, I love this family like they are my own. I can't say thank you enough for bring this story to life and sharing it with us. I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us, with Maxx and Logan! <3
This is my review and how I see it. This story is a continuous of Logan and Maxx Kellar's story along with family and friends. In this story Logan has booked a much needed vacation for the family and it is not without it rough starts and almost tragic ending.
As Logan is navigating his way through being a more present father and husband to Maxx, someone from the The Kid's past makes an appearance and Maxx does not see it turning out well for her family and she it right in a way.
This story will make you tear-up and be angry all at the same time and it does give us a happy ending. It will be interesting to read about Dean's friend Blaine and Jackson, which I hope they will have their own stories somewhere down the road.
Blear picks up right where we left Logan and Maxx. Logan is trying to prove he's invested in Maxx, who is extremely pregnant. All of the Senses gang is back together for a family vacation, a chance to get away and reconnect. When everyone is together, there's no telling what will happen and some words can't be unsaid once they are out. Once again, we are reminded of just how much the Keller family is.
Once again Xavier Neal brings this group of larger than life characters together with lots of laughter, tears and plenty of steamy moments. Blear is much more than a companion novella, it gives you a full book experience.
Received this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Wow, I really enjoyed this book from beginning to end. I don't think I will ever get enough of Logan and Maxx. I don't want to give anything away, but there were some unexpected things that happened in this book that had me all in my feeling a few times. I am so glad that there was a happy ending. This was a great series and I look forward to hearing more from the Kellar family. Great job, Xavier Neal.
I don't know where to start without giving to much away! Let me tell you I think this is the best novel yet in this series. Logan and Maxx take your hearts from the start. This story rips your heart out of your chest a little at a tome, then puts it back in the same way. It will have you laughing and crying. I'm excited they got another story and their love just continues to grow so much. I'm excited to see their next big adventure and where it goes. Along with their family and where the next road takes them.
