Colbie Kay has managed to jump to one of the top spots on my favorite authors list. I have yet to be disappointed in any of her books and I can honestly say that this is another awesome book that Colbie has written.
This book had me on a roller coaster of emotions. I'm pretty sure I felt every major emotion could can feel while reading this book. My stomach was in knots and my heart was in my throat. There is nothing like a book that has you so on edge.
Dawson has hardened himself. He used to be someone that wore his heart on his sleeve. He was trusting, loving and nicer to everyone. He thought he found the love of his life. Her name was Grace and she managed to break him, now he's hardened. After trying the rock star bachelor life he has decided that it isn't for him, he wants to find his one true love but can he open himself up to anyone? Can he trust anyone again?
Then he meets Emery and there is something about her that draws him in but instead of being nice and getting to know her better, he is a complete jerk. They have started a war between each other and it makes it a bit difficult with her being his band's manager. Will he be able to move on past the hurt Grace caused? Will he be able to open up to Emery? Will he let her in?
Things get complicated and someone is out to get one of them. The truths he learns are ones that will floor you. I highly recommend this book!!! Colbie did a wonderful job with it and I can't wait for more in the future. I know that it is bound to be another hit. I just know that the rest of the band members stories are going to be doozies and I am seriously dying to get them!!!

A terrific story
This was an interesting, exciting, and intriguing story that you won't want to miss! I loved the characters, the angsty drama (which I usually don't like! Lol!), the suspense, mystery, and the fantastic HEA. I would really like to see the rest of the band get their stories.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and great author.

This book is good and you get to see how Emery and Dawson became a couple. Dawson's ex girlfriend is a straight up crazy chick and you will find out way when you read this book. Sicily is a cutie patootie and she wuvs her family.

I loved this book. As soon as it hit my kindle I had to start it.. And I am so glad that I did. read this in only a short amount of time and loved every minute of it. The wait was so worth it for this book. Not only do you get Saving Dawson but you also get the prequel novella Saving Grace.
My emotions were all over the place. Dawson is a guy who wears his heart on his sleeve but after being hurt in the past hes trying not to let it show to much. Hes tried the bachelor route and decided its not for him. He wants that "one" special person and he thought at one time he found it in Grace... But after she broke him in walks Emery... this chick... Jesus I want to be friends with her. Shes sassy, spunky, not afraid to tell the band exactly what she thinks and how she feels. But with Dawson there is something about him she cannot place but she sees the pain behind his eyes. Dawson acts like a grade A jerk (I have more colorful words to really describe how he acts towards Emery) that I want to just throttle and tell him to suck it up and show her the real you.
But like all rising rock-stars life is never easy. What happens when Dawson, Emery and her family are threatened? Will she give in and walk away from Dawson and the band or does she stay and fight for what she wants?

I loved every page of this book. Once I started reading, I couldn't put my kindle down. Life may not always be perfect, but it's what you make of it. That is exactly what Dawson and Emery do. He in a band with his "brothers" and she a single mom, becomes their manager. Dawson instantly has feelings for her, but tries to fight them off by being mean to her and by trying to push her away. She likes him too but isn't sure what to do. Just because your first love doesn't work out, doesn't mean their isn't someone else's out there for you. Dawson and Emery realize that and go for it. I couldn't get enough of those two and also the other guys from the band. This was my first book read by Colbie Kay and I was very impressed. Highly recommend this book to everyone

Just happened upon this author one day while searching for this genre of books and wow I am so happy I did. Saving Dawson is a book about a rockstar who's band was set up with his brothers not by blood but by tragedy. And Dawson found himself immersed into a band which pretty much saved him. Dawson however has more things going on that he doesn't know if he can handle or not. Maybe Dawson just needs to let some things go. But one person had gotten so deep it would break him to lose her. Grace was that person. Now Dawson needs to move on. Can his band help him to move forward? Read this one to find out.

Another amazing read by Colbie Kay that takes you on a journey of an emotional roller coaster. The characters of The Betrayed are super hot. Dawson being the man he is with his words, voice and the oh my moments that will turn you on. Emery is the perfect match for Dawson. She is spunky, strong and her sass is something to look forward to in this read. There is so much more to Saving Dawson than meets the eye. Will Emery be able to read Dawson in the right light? Will these two be able to have everything they are looking for or will the surprises keep coming? Fabulous read and I claim Dawson.

Five stars!
After reading the Prequel Saving Grace I knew that this wouldn't be an easy ride for Dawson......he is still hurting big time......but there is no denying the instant connection between Emery and Dawson. Dawson wears his heart on his sleeve and he falls hard, I don't think Emery is too far behind!
I love this band of brothers too, forever protective of each other.........and I love the fact this series crosses over with the Satan's Sinners MC.....Jacey is a force to be reckoned with and her relationship with Bear makes me smile big!!

I liked Emery and Dawson, they were cute. The issue I had "spoiler" was when Grace's parents went to jail..how was that possible? They had cameras in their home, so they had Grace on tape, Grace had also seen a therapist who seen the tapes so she knew what was going on. This information would have been enter in court, Grace would have been put away not the parents. Let me I make a suggestion, I know this is all make believe, but come on....remember what you write, because people like me will go back and say...duh....didn't you just write.....so how is that possible???

Can I just say how much I love Colbie Kay. I haven't read anything yet that I haven't liked. I loved he plot twist with Grace. I was waiting for this book after I received an Arc of Saving Grace. It was well worth the wait. If you haven't read anything from Colbie you need to get with it and start with City Lights and go from there. I cant wait to see what's next from Colbie I hope its about Colton

As soon as I received this on my Kindle app I started reading it. I was hooked from the start. I was heart was broken from the events that went on in this story. At one point I wanted to just punch Dawson and tell him to get it together. I was also not expecting some of the twists that turned up in the book. Loved this story from the start, it pulled at my heart strings at the events that happened to Dawson. Great book & story, thank you Colbie for the ARC.

In walks Emery there new band manager. Now you have to wonder. Can these two who have both suffered a hurt find a happily ever after or will the past destroy the future.
This is a great story and I was pulled in by the first chapter. Love Colbie Kay books.

I am a huge fan of Colbie's and I was anxiously awaiting Dawsons story. Emery was a great addition to the story. It had its ups and downs like any other story, any other couple. Emery brought Dawson back to life after a failed relationship in the past and it was for the best. Dawson was rough around the edges to her at first but softened up after he realized he was being too hard on her. And I absolutely loved how she intertwined her other series into this book.

Pretty exciting place to be as the band really starts to form and get recognized. Dawson really has a big heart but Grace is pulling away.
Dawson is lead singer and he can't get over being betrayed. The book gives us a glimpse of Grady and Sarah's boys as Dawson is the main H of the story. We enjoy Dawson!!

A Must read!
Oh Dawson! I loved everything about this book. Colbie Kay gives us everything needed for an amazing story. If you love a book with lots of emotions, sexy rock stars, some mystery and love then you'll love this book.

a great way to start the series heartbreaker but then you will be shocked at the twists which keeps you on the edge of the seat waiting for what is next . I can't wait for the next book for sure
