Paradigm's End

Rate this book
Serving as a magistrate, Mark spends half his life condemning the dumbed down dystopian society he thinks Britain has become. He spends the other half living it. It is the not too distant future and the Great World War still rumbles on. At least it is an entertaining war though, especially for those like Mark who have not had to face its grim horrors directly. That is until his comfortably numb existence is shattered by the arrival of one man in his courtroom and a staggering piece of news. Now locked in a downward spiral of guilt, drink and drug abuse he is forced on a journey that will shape his future forever.

Paradigm; A model of accepted assumptions, concepts, values and rules that a society accepts as it's reality.
