ELEMENTS OF DRAGONS

Twin flames were hunted and killed due to their magical powers, but they have re-emerged in the Otherworld as Drake Obsidian and Morgan Amethyst allowed their love, passion, and desire to bind them in a powerful union that reignited real magic back into existence. Alongside their supernatural friends they must fight against the Master who is opening the gates of hell with ritualistic sacrifices to harvest souls.

As the cosmic lightning struck them, ancient magic was released deep into the earth, awakening the dragons who have slumbered for over a thousand years. Called to serve Drake, the last of the Dragon Lords, their magic reverberates through the Otherworld as secrets from Morgan’s Spirit Walker blood stalks them.

The laws and rules of the magical world are changing as their love rewrites them. Family bonds reveal long lost relatives and traitors who will try and save or kill them to gain the magical powers in their blood.

Can they discover who the Master is before he opens the last gate of hell?
Who can be trusted in this shadow world of Fae?
Will their love survive or will magic tear them apart?

Drake and Morgan would kill and die for each other, but who can they trust as they journey deeper into the Otherworld.

Where's The Girl Power?

So even though Morgan has all these powers and more training Ethan is like instantly more powerful than she is and when she goes to battle with Drake she either makes dumb mistakes or gives him all her powers and makes herself vulnerable?

In every battle scene it seems to be the weak women hiding and the strong men fighting and even though Morgan is on the battlefield she's often more of a hindrance than a help. Strong men are great, but the days of wanting to read about a damsel in distress are long past and I don't see the point in the women even having powers, especially Morgan, if they never going to get to use them to kick ass with the guys.

Also there's a time a a place for sex and Morgan and Drake don't seem to understand the when and where of that. There's an excessive amount of sex scenes in this that only served to slow down the plot.

While I loved the relationship between Morgan and Ethan overall I was disappointed in the second installment in this series as Morgan was portrayed as a lot stronger character in the first novel. In the first novel they stood side by side there was none of this leaving her at home crap or being the weakest link on the battlefield stuff. In this book despite her growing power she was more of a damsel in distress than anything else and I found that seriously dissatisfying.

HOW TO STOP EVIL.Second book of the series and this one we get to know the characters more personally. POVs Morgan, Drake, Ethan, Theo, The Master, Sage, Balthazar. We get a better sense of their powers and personalities, their strengths and weaknesses. The battle against time rages as the small group of warriors and their dragons, ogres, shifters, et cetera, fight to stop the seven circles of hell from opening. They are getting closer but the danger increases dramatically. On to the third book.

Dear Reader,

Elements of Dragons is the second book in the paranormal romance series The Otherworld Chronicles. If you loved book one, then we pick up exactly where we stopped, and the adventure continues…

I loved researching the different solstices and equinoxes, weaving all the folklore into the story to bring it to life. My personal background is in genetics, and I really enjoyed considering how magic evolved through our genome, taking my theories a step further.

I hope you enjoy it, and join Morgan and Drake on their journey through the Otherworld.

A continuation from Elements Of Flames, twin flames Drake and Morgan continue to grow in power and love. More battles with the evil Balthazar occur but once again they do not defeat him. The really cool part is Dragons are introduced in this book as Drake is THE Dragon Lord!!! I found myself skimming over sex scenes, as they were the same as the last, but there are some great reveals in this book and a great next step in this series...

I LOVED this book! It is even better than the first one!! Twists and turns in a new fantasy land with our heroine being kickass as always! And oh the surprises!! I am telling you, if you even remotely liked the first of this series, you HAVE to read this sequel. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I could not put it down! And, of course, just as steamy as always!

Loving this series. It's mostly Drake and Morgan's story still but we're getting more from the others too. Sometimes it's a bit much when all the characters start piping in but I just can't get enough of Ethan, Sage, Theo, even The Master.

I am 5 starring it because the story was great. I feel it needs more editing though. The sentence structure was sometimes off and the wording as well. Still worth reading though.

Loved it

This book is another amazing book by CR Robertson. I thought the first one was brilliant with characters that you love and are deep and involved with a complex plot. This one built on that and just got even better. I am now starting the next book.

Disappointing

Excellent plot but poor storytelling. The book reads like someone telling you about a story that they heard. With better writing this would have been an epic tale.

An amazing story of standing up and fighting back no matter the odds.

The love between two people not only wakes up their own magic, but also the buried magic in the world in the form of two dragons.

Real characters with a real story and absolutely enthralling story line.
