Natalia stammt aus einer sehr reichen und mächtigen Familie. David ist bei seiner alleinerziehenden Mutter aufgewachsen und musste sich seinen Erfolg hart erarbeiten. Natalia und David kommen aus zwei verschiedenen Welten. David möchte sich an Natalias Familie rächen, denn er hat noch eine offene Rechnung mit ihnen zu begleichen. Für seinen Racheplan möchte er Natalia auf seine Seite ziehen, doch dann kommt alles ganz anders...

Mein Leseeindruck:
Leider kann ich mich den vielen positiven Stimmen über dieses Buch nicht anschließen. Ich hatte mehr als einmal den Gedanken, das Buch abbrechen zu wollen, aber der Roman hat knapp über 600 Seiten, und so wollte ich dann doch wissen, ob und was da noch passieren wird. Leider ist für meinen Geschmack nicht wirklich viel passiert. Ich habe mir mehr Handlung gewünscht; mir war das Buch oft zu langatmig.
Die Finanzbranche ist in dieser Geschichte ein ganz großes Thema - für mich hat es leider zu viel Platz eingenommen.
Auch waren die Figuren mir zu eintönig. Schön, reich, sexy und absolut makellos. Perfekte Körper, perfekter Sex, alles perfekt - das ist leider nichts für mich. Für mich war das unglaubwürdig und auch langweilig. Und leider waren mir die Charaktere auch fast durchweg unsympathisch.
Die Autorin hat durchaus einen guten Schreibstil; den kann und möchte ich gar nicht bemängeln. Mein Problem mit dem Buch ist die Geschichte an sich. Die konnte mich leider nicht überzeugen. Schade.

To put it simply, I inhaled this book! The story was riveting and kept me reading until the wee hours of the night! All In is a Swedish romance set in the merciless world of corporate finance. It is well documented, realistic and perfectly written. But above all, this book is an irresistible roller coaster of emotions that kept me flipping the pages.
David Hammar is Sweden’s most infamous venture capitalist and corporate raider. He is a ruthless and arrogant businessman known for crushing companies and people. This modern-day pirate started from nothing and has been immensely successful. David comes from a tough past, his story was heartbreaking and made me admire him for what he was able to achieve.
He is planning the biggest and riskier deal his firm has ever done: a hostile takeover of Investum, one of Sweden’s largest and oldest companies. This deal is very personal, though and is intended to take revenge on the owners of the company, the upper class family De la Grip. To make things easier, he seeks to get someone from the family on his side and gets in contact with the daughter of Investum’s CEO, Natalia De la Grip, but quickly realizes that she is loyal to her father.
Natalia and David have much in common. Their background is different, but they are outsiders. I felt for them. Nathalia is a corporate finance talent in a very misogynist world. She is a savvy and strong willed businesswoman, who wants to be respected for her abilities. David is prisoner of his quest for revenge. He is convinced that the downfall of the De la Grip family will set him free from his past, even if he crushes Natalia in the process. But he can’t stay away from her. Their chemistry is intense, these two are destined to be together, but nothing will be easy for them.
David is totally flawed, what he did to Natalia was wrong, but I appreciated how his character grew as the story progressed. Natalia is a wonderful heroine, generous, genuine and forgiving.
Natalia and David's journey was deeply emotional, sexy, romantic and compulsively readable. All In is a story to get lost in, with unforgettable characters! And the Swedish virtual sightseeing I did on Google while reading was an added bonus!
This book is the first in a trilogy, but it can be read as a standalone and has a HEA.

Me esperaba mucho más de esta lectura, la verdad. He visto muy buenas opiniones y no voy a negar que el estilo de la autora engancha. Tiene un buen ritmo y un par de giros buenos. Pero la historia es muy previsible, con demasiados cliches tópicos de contemporánea.
Sobran datos técnicos, para mí hay párrafos en los que se nota tanto que la autora se ha documentado y quiere dejar constancia que a mí me ha saturado.
Pero lo peor es la ambientación. que me parece excesiva y, en ocasiones, ha llegado a sacarme de la historia.
¿En serio es necesario que todos sean tan estupendos, tan guapos, tan ricos? Que se repintan hasta la saciedad palabras como diseño, lujo, castillos y marcas? Yo creo que no... pero si hasta el rojo es rojo FERRARI!!! y los grifos de diseño ITALIANO!!!
Por otro lado, ¿es necesario tanto repetir las injusticias laborales entre hombres y mujeres? Paso porque la autora quiera hacer una critica social de un país del que, parece que engañosamente, tenemos otra opinión... pero lo repite tanto y de tantas formas que también me parece excesivo.
En resumen, no está mal, engancha y se lee rápido. En muchos momentos me ha interesado más la historia secundaria (que creo que daba para una historia propia y ha sido una pena que se desperdiciaran los personajes) que la principal. Eso es un claro fallo !!!
Pero no ha sido lo que esperaba... esta autora no creo que sea para mí. Pero si buscáis una historia de traiciones, familias complicadas envueltas en puro lujo... con alguna escena hot.... os gustará seguro

Pues me ha gustado más de lo que pensaba.
Y me he enganchado.
Es cierto que a veces la autora se repite en exceso, sobre todo hablando del machismo que rodea un mundo laboral de élite y la desigualdad aún existente entre hombres y mujeres. A ls personajes mayores y de cuna les da el papel de machistas y cuadriculados empedernidos. A los jóvenes, les regala un poquito más de cabecita. Pero demasiado repetido igualmente.
Perooooo.... a mi lo que me ha enganchado es una historia de amor muy sentida desde el principio, que ha empezado poco a poco sin engaños ni exageraciones y creo que la autora ha dotado al protagonista masculino en "esas" escenas de una sensibilidad "casi" perfecta.
Para mi, el libro que necesitaba leer justo ahora.
Creo que voy a por el siguiente.
Por cierto, ne nuevo portada horripilis que no me dice nada.

2,5 Estrellas.
He leído esta novela porque fue elegida por el Club de Lectura en el que participo y lo cierto es que al principio me intrigaba, pero me ha dejado muy fría.
No voy a hablar del argumento porque ya aparece en el resumen, diré que a mí, mientras leía la novela, me ha hecho pensar en Falcon Crest o en Dallas... y creía que en romántica contemporánea ya habíamos superado esta clase de argumentos.
Lo que sí me ha gustado es que que la autora haya tratado el tema de las desigualdades laborales entre los hombres y las mujeres, me ha parecido honesto y real, y no me encaja para nada con otros detalles de la novela (el lujo, etc).
En cuanto a la historia de amor, es rápida y sexy, aunque me ha dejado con la sensación de que ya había leído antes mil historias con estos giros. Sí, supongo que puede argumentarse que todo está inventado, pero me gusta creer que no.
La novela está bien escrita, bien traducida, su estructura engancha y se lee con rapidez. Pero es completa y absolutamente prescindible.
En conclusión, me ha recordado a las novelas contemporáneas de los 80 (esto en sí mismo es un halago, no una crítica) y me ha sorprendido en algún momento, pero me ha dejado indiferente y creo que una novela que pretende hablar de sentimientos no debería dejarme así.

I received an invitation to read the first chapters of 2 new books being released in 2016, in exchange for a short review.
The first is from author Simona Ahrnstedt, titled All In. This is my first encounter with Ahrnstedt 's work, and while a chapter is hardly enough time to feel connected to a story, I can say this book has started out with a bang! With a lead male sharing traits reminiscent of Christian Grey and the lead female sounding like Lucky Santangelo, (from the Jackie Collins series) this has all the right ingredients for a sizzling read.
The second book I was able to get a sneak-peek into was from author Debbie Howells, titled The Beauty of the End . I had the pleasure of reviewing Howells debut novel The Bones of You which I loved.
Her latest novel once again shows great promise with a storyline that already has me wanting to know more! An ex-attorney with a lost love from his past has surfaced in the most intriguing way...I can see that his quiet life as he knows it now is about to take a drastic turn.
This is definitely going to be a must read this summer!

Generally, this was a good book, with a kind of prestige-ish language, that underlined the story about revenge, romance and Swedish finance and nobility, perfectly. Another aspect of the book that I liked was the foreign phrases the translators chose to keep. It set a certain mood for the book. The one thing that irritated me a little was the ending. I felt like the first half of the book built a strong story that mounted into something I was excited about, but the last 50-100 pages were a steady storyline without any major excitement. The characters were nice. Sometimes it felt like the author was getting close to a cliche, but dodged the bullet at the end. The author also liked to inflict the story with issue upon issue, for the characters. Sometimes it went a little overboard, but personally I didn't mind it that much. I can't wait for the next book, because this was a good novel!

“Само една нощ” беше опияняващо четиво, което с всяка своя страница предизвикваше хиляди емоции у мен! Симона Арнщед бе изградила великолепни персонажи, а взаимоотношенията между тях бяха изключително интересни за проследяване. Любовта, страстта, лъжите и семейните тайни – неизменна част от страниците на книгата, бяха поднесени по наистина завладяващ начин!

Holy Crab on a Cracker! I am soooooo thrilled! What an outstanding novel - you have to read this.
This novel is one fantastic read; and that without using loud tones or an aggressive language. All In shows the world of the rich and goes behind the façade.
You see the glittering sparkle cruelty, tragedy, hate and lurking revenge. Told in an impressive and absolutely entertaining way. The author makes it quite clear to the reader, that she is about to unfold things, that you wouldn´t even dare to dream about, not to mention speaking it out loud. There is a undertone, not much, but enough to make it totally clear that not everything, that people do, is ok and that revenge is one thing, but forgiveness another.
There was more than one scene where I was kicking the ass of a certain person in my mind. And I was asking myself if in todays Swedish society that kind of thinking still excists, or was only used by the author to get some tension into her plot.

I was initially intrigued by the Swedish setting and the contextual world of the financial elite. However, the characters did not live up to their setting; thinly drawn, stereotypical, and immature. The plot was predictable and melodramatic in a cliched way. Also, I think something got lost in the translation from Swedish to English, and it made for jarring moments that pulled me away from the story. Harsh I know, but I purchased this book after reading several glowing reviews. Just my opinion, others may have a more positive experience.

Für die Hauptprotagonistin Natalia gilt zu 100%: Der Stock im Arsch ersetzt noch lange kein Rückgrat ;)
Anfangs dachte ich noch, dass sie ja eine toughe Geschäftsfrau ist, aber sie wurde mir schon ganz schnell so unsympathisch. Sie hat keine eigene Meinung, ihre Familie behandelt sie wie Dreck und trotzdem traut sie sich nicht einmal die Stimme zu erheben.
Ich mochte David. Er entwickelt sich weiter und auch wenn er manchmal sehr arrogant rüberkommt, ist sein Verhalten dennoch nachvollziehbar.
Die Geschichte zog sich manchmal in die Länge, war dann aber doch ganz spannend. Es gab ein paar unerwartete Wendungen.

Наистина обича тази книги! Доказателство за това е, че като я почнах не можех да спра да чета и зареди това я прочетох само за няколко часа. Книгата е интересна, вълнуваща и въпреки че тя разказва една любовта история така да се каже, в нея присъстват и други елементи.
Много неща ми харесаха в книгата (меко казано).
- хареса ми това, че книгата е разказана от трето лице
- хареса ми това, че книгата разказва освен за Дейвид и Наталия, но и за други герои и то отблизо.
- хареса ми това как Наталия се бори за своите права
- хареса ми това, че в книгата се разказва за дискриминацията на жените, за това, което реално се случва в света.
Много неща ми харесаха в книгата (меко казано).

Dieses Hörbuch hat mich fast einen Monat lang begleitet und wurde von Vera Teltz wunderbar gesprochen. Ich habe mich für dies Hörbuch entschieden, da viele Menschen von diesem Buch schwärmten, ich aber aufgrund des Verlages meine Zweifel hatte, dass es mir gefallen würde. Ich muss zugeben, dass ich mit dem Lyx Verlag immer Bücher verbinde, die bei mir keinen Anklang fanden.
Die Handlung erinnert ein wenig an Altbekanntes (Shakespeare mehr oder minder grüßen). Natalia, die Tochter aus adeligem Hause, begegnet dem charismatischen David, der sie zum Essen einlädt, da er dadurch versuchen möchte Dinge über ihre Familie zu erfahren, da er noch eine Rechnung offen hat. Ich verrate sicher nicht zu viel, wenn ich sage, dass sich zwischen den beiden etwas entwickelt, doch Davids Pläne drohen alles zu zerstören.
Überrascht war ich von der Vielschichtigkeit der Handlung. Die Geschichte spielt in der schwedischen Finanzwelt und wir erfahren nicht nur einiges über die beiden Protagonisten, sondern auch über deren Freunde und Familien. Zu Beginn entwickelt sich die Handlung eher schleppend und es gab vermehrt erotische Szenen, die mich beim Hören eher langweilten, da ich persönlich kein Fan vom Lesen dieser bin. Ab der Mitte passieren dann auf einmal so viele verschiedene Dinge, dass das Buch unheimlich spannend wird. Leider machte diese geballte Ansammlung von verschiedensten Geheimnissen auf mich einen eher unglaubwürdigen Eindruck. Mich erinnerte dies an typische, an den Haaren herbeigezogene Storylines aus diversen Soaps, so dass ich teilweise doch auch schmunzeln musste.
Alles in allem ist dieses Buch dennoch lesenswert für alle, die auf Drama stehen und sich an solchen Entwicklungen nicht stören. Mich hat "Die Erbin" gut unterhalten und als Hörbuch ist es wirklich empfehlenswert. Tipp hierzu: Man kann das Buch wunderbar auf der Geschwindigkeit 1,25 hören, was es dann doch etwas einfacher macht am Ball zu bleiben.

Изненадващо приятна, но по-скоро давам 3,5/5 звезди. Не очаквах да ме завладее до степен прочитане-за-една-нощ, но останах много доволна и ще продължа с другите две книги от поредицата 😊

Lo primero que puedo pensar es en como a veces uno puede perderse de una buena historia por no esperar a que arranque. Y lo digo porque es lo que casi me sucede a mi. Empecé a leer esta novela recomendada por una amiga y la dejé en el tercer o cuarto capítulo porque me resultaba aburrida, lenta. Hace un par de noches decidí darle otra oportunidad y oh sorpresa!!! descubro que teniendo un poco de paciencia puedo disfrutar de una historia más que buena.No quiero destripar mucho de qué va el libro, pero si voy a decir que me gustó mucho Natalia, la protagonista. Felicitaciones a la autora por escribir a una mujer serena, pensante, sensible, fuerte y apasionada. Una de esas que no se deja vencer por nada ni por nadie. Y gracias por David Hammar y su poca fuerza de voluntad para dejar de ver a Natalia 😉 Cuatro estrellas para los financistas suecos y su historia de amor y venganza

Ich bin sehr positiv überrascht worden. Ich war neugierig auf das Buch, hatte aber keine großen Erwartungen. Ich meine... Bankwesen. Ugh. Wie spannend kann das schon sein? Wie es sich herausstellte: sehr spannend. Dazu ist das Buch toll geschrieben und Natalia ist eine tolle Hauptfigur, die einem am Ende das ein oder andere Tränchen in die Augen treibt. Selbst die vielen Perspektivwechsel stören den Lesefluss nicht und fügen sich gut in die Geschichte ein. Nichts ist nur schwarz oder weiß (außer Gustaf, der ist eindeutig nur schwarz, den habe ich einfach nur gehasst und seine Frau ist nicht besser... *schüttel*). Alle Figuren sind sehr facettenreich, überraschen den Leser und habe alle ihre individuellen Hintergründe, die man nach und nach entdeckt ohne davon erschlagen zu werden.

Das Ende ist vielleicht etwas überzogen, trotzdem hat mich das Buch positiv überrascht. Und die Charaktere sind alle so toll 😊.

Leider fand ich das Setting eher langweilig und konnte zur Liebesgeschichte der Charaktere keine richtige Verbindung aufbauen. Obwohl das Ganze im letzten Drittel ein wenig an Fahrt aufnahm, konnte dies nicht für die dahinplätschernde Story der vorigen Seiten entschädigen.

Книгата ме грабна още от първите страници. Има прекалено много въпроси, които се развиват в историята и това ми беше страшно интересно - разделението на класи, което все още действа в Швеция (мислех, че навсякъде, където все още има аристокрация е само на думи); закостенелите схващания за мястото на жената и затова, че е едва ли не нейната роля е само да стои за украса, защото е безмозъчно същество; расовата и етническа дискриминация; отношението към умните, но бедни хора, как са много по-низши; семейството със студено отношение към децата, които трябва да се доказват отново и отново и никога не е достатъчно и разбира се насилието - физичес��о и сексуално, което го има на всяко ниво и най-вече как остава ненаказано при богатите и как всичко може да се потули най-ненаказано. И на фона на всичко това нещо, което започва като секс само за една нощ, но обещава да се превърне в любов за цял живот. Определено е от много добрите книги за мен - има и драма и интрига, а разбира се и много отворени въпроси.

Das Buch war ein Reread für mich und es ist genau das passiert wovor ich etwas Angst hatte, dass es mir nicht mehr soo gut gefällt wie beim ersten Mal 🙈
Ich mag das Buch auch beim zweiten Mal lesen immer noch gerne aber diesen Sog den es beim ersten Mal hatte hat leider dieses Mal gefehlt. Auch Natalia unsere Protagonistin hat mir nicht so gut gefallen. Irgendwie sind mir ihre „Fehler“ doch deutlich bewusster gewesen als vorher.

Es hat nur so lange gedauert bis ich es fertig hatte da ich nicht wirklich viel Zeit hatte. Ich fand das Buch unglaublich gut obwohl ich eher negatives dazu gehört habe könnte garnicht mehr aufhören zulesen was nicht daran lag das alle Geheimnisse bam bam bam nacheinander kamen die ich mir nicht so ganz gedacht hatte.

La verdad es que desde el primer momento la historia me enganchó. La intriga tras todos sus personajes, la historia que escondían y un poco el amor prohibido entre sus protagonistas me atraparon completamente.
