Clearly, I am NOT the target audience for this book. To top it all, she has been watching him f*ck around for years as she works for him and now he wants her to have his baby.

Are you looking for a short smutty read, with a filthy talking apha male? Well, look no farther.
Xavier Leigh gave us the alpha experience. He was gruff, bossy and a manwhore. Even though he had his eye on his sexy assistant, he kept their relationship professional because she did a fantastic job. That is until he was tired of the lonely life he was living. Sex and work were what he did. Never having relationships, just sex.
Anya was sweet and kinda naive. She worked for Xavier for 4 years and saw how he treated women. She often felt bad for them at the way he'd cast them off when he was done. For that reason alone, she was apprehensive when Xavier proposed having a baby with him. She straight up told him she didn't want to be like the other women he used up. I loved that she stood up to him.

This book is weird. It had a feel of Alexa Riley in it I think because when the hero decided to pursue the heroine he didn't take no for an answer. But that's it. It was poor written. And something that kept bothering me was . I know it's fiction and we're supposed to overlook some plot holes. But still... Well, this book was beyond the silly I can enjoy.

Xavier Leigh is about to turn forty and has decided he wants to have an heir. The women he dates are not the type to raise his child, but he has has a long simmering desire for his PA, Anya. When he proposes they have a child together, Anya thinks his humor has taken a whack but Xavier goes on to convince her he is completely serious.
Charming story, I liked the build up for this one. Anya is perplexed by the sudden change in demeanor in Xavier and the way he charms Anya is delightful. I liked that Anya was grounded and she seemed to have the same effect on Xavier. Very entertaining.

This was hero, Xavier Leigh (Bastard Boss) and heroine, Anya's ( Bastard Bosses PA) story. Xavier was quickly turning forty years old soon and was discovering that none of the women he was dating were mothering material but his PA would be perfect in that role. Conscientious Anya had been working for Leigh for over four years and he secretly had a crush on her. One day Bastard boss bluntly tells her how attractive she was to him and said he wanted her to have his baby, marry him etc. Of course Anya is shocked because manwhore Xavier dated the models or" the beautiful ones" and she saw herself as plain in comparison to that type.
The story moves fast and it's so hot and sexy! Anya discovered that Xavier is so much more than the man she works for. He was a foster child who pulled himself from a question mark in society to ow a very rich, powerful and helpful businessman. And the things he didn't want people to know about him was what really got her attention.
As with the majority of this author's book, I really enjoyed the connection between the H and h and how they grew to become one!
The story moves fast and it's so hot and sexy! Anya discovered that Xavier is so much more than the man she works for. Absolutely amazing story. Xavier Leigh is known around the office as the bastard boss. He doesn't do love or romance, he loves sex, and it has to be hard and dirty.
Anya is his PA. She is the best PA he has ever had. He has always had a thing for her, but never acted on it. One day Xavier realises that he wants to settle down and become a father. He's made all these millions, and has no family to leave it to.
None of the women he frequently uses for sex are appropriate for the role of wife and mother. He needs someone wholesome and caring and loving. This is where Anya comes into the picture.
He offers her the position of wife and mother of his children. At first she's reluctant but then she agrees.
The book just gets hotter and hotter from that moment on. I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't read it yet. But I will say this. You will NOT be disappointed

This was a good book although I think Anya was a little too bitchy and kind of judgmental also it did remind me of On Her Knees by Jenika Snow. Xavier Leigh is a determined, successful businessman whose employees refer to as the bastard boss. I didn't find him to be a bastard at all as a matter of fact I thought he was sexy, charming, generous and sweet as hell. I just think he was guarded because of his childhood growing up in foster homes and it was hard for him to open himself up to people. He worked his ass off to have a better life as an adult and he was very active in several charities especially ones having to do with children. He's now pushing forty and he's starting to think further into the future and he's decided he wants to have children so he has someone to leave his legacy to. He thinks his personal assistant, Anya would make the perfect mother so he propositions her. Anya is shocked when he tells her he wants her to be the mother of his child after all he's always dated supermodels and she's curvy. Xavier is very attracted to Anya and he knows she's a wonderful person and he wants someone different than the vapid women he usually dates. She's reluctant at first but she finally agrees and pretty soon she starts to see a totally different side to the arrogant businessman she's gotten used to and she loves this side of him. I loved Logan and it was so awesome what they did for him but OMG, the name they came up with for their kid was hysterical.

This was kind of silly and mostly unlikely, but it's a story and I enjoyed the characters. Of course Anya says yes, despite having always hated being gossiped about as his PA, she very willingly enters into the baby making agreement and within weeks they're married, SPOILER AHEAD..

I read this book a while a go but I am going through my books on my kindle and as I am now a blogger putting up reviews to all the ones I've read, This is Sam Crescent and sometimes they are good and sometimes they are fantastic she is my queen of the one click. This was a lovely Sunday afternoon romp, A grumpy boss a plus sized lady the kind that Sam excels at writing stir and we get this. It had it all a lovely story it could have done with it a bit more proof reading, some scenes needed flattening out and grammar needed editing but over all a fabulous book. I enjoyed it.

This is book that will make almost no sense.....in a way of how a cold-blooded bastard of a man whore turned into the devoted and loving husband. And to tell the truth i wasn't looking for sense or mystery i just wanted a book which will make me feel good about the world and just a happy ending. This book gave that to me and that's why it deserved its four star rating.

I really like this story! The storyline is fast paced and the characters describe fully which involved with their background. Cause of their background they even adopted a kid which makes my heart warm.
