Death's job isn't really his favorite, but it's not like he could change it. It doesn't help that he's attracted to his opposite who seems to detest his very existence.
Update 8/2018: I finally found the author’s Twitter account & apparently she is going to start printing and selling the 1st volume of the comic probably this September-October. Just letting you know in case you’re like me & want to own a physical copy. Don’t know all the details yet so I’m not sure which countries she’ll be shipping to. In the meantime I’m just gonna keep waiting for updates to the series & continuously draw panels from the comic b/c I’m in LOVE w/ the artwork. _____________ Review: This is the most beautiful, adorable, sad, happy, sweet, and perfect webcomic I’ve ever read! The artwork is amazing (the cover image on Goodreads does not do it justice)! I love stories about gods, and a story about Life and Death’s rocky yet everlasting love for each other is the best thing ever 💕😭 The comic is still ongoing but I’m marking it as read, and since I’m all caught up now after binge reading it all in one go, I’m now going to be impatiently waiting for new updates like every other sorry soul (no pun intended) addicted to this comic. If you’re reading this and you like comics I’d highly recommend checking it out. _____________ This is a discontinued Webtoons comic. You can still read it on the app but the story will remain incomplete, although, the creator did give it a final send off scene. The creator mentioned in 2021 that they no longer feel motivated and comfortable creating it for reasons you can read on the final upload page.
A Matter of Life and Death was one of the first webcomics I read back in...2015? 2016? something like that...who recently came to an (expected) early conclusion due to several life changing circumstances the author have gone trough in the past two years or so. Which is a risk both the artists and readers might face whenever they get invested on a, foremost, free webcomic.
However I think the abrupt conclusion and questions left open shouldn't keep people away from experiencing this webcomic because AMoLaD is a funny, melancholic, romantic, and angsty story that captures you from the first pages and combined it with a very pretty and unique artstyle, it makes for a very pleasant and engaging read.
I hope the author continues creating the type of stories she really feels like telling.
5 estrellas🌟🌟 ¡¡Que comic tan hermoso!!

i was very intrigued by the premise of a romance between the god of life and god of death so i had high hopes for this story, and despite having fun reading it and loving the art it kinda dissapointed me. the plot felt very messy and many things didn't make much sense and that really bothered me, but i really liked the dynamic of the characters. since the comic was discontinued it also felt like a let down because many plot points felt unresolved
This is the comic that made me fall in love with comics in the first place. It's such a weird but passionate and deep story, with many secrets that the author keeps unfolding with each chapter and characters that catch your interest within just a few pages. I've been reading this comics for years now, and I can tell you, it keeps getting better.
I loved the artstyle, it's just amazing! I loved the story, the concept that Life and Death fall in love has me completely fascinated *-*. I need more updates from this webcomic.
One of my absolute favorites. Cannot get over that art 😍😍😍 - Imagine the gods of this world, imagine them as people, now imagine that they are just as emotional and sometimes, stupid, as us. They make mistakes, fall in love, keep secrets, but when something goes wrong, it shakes the world. The stakes are high when Life and Death begin a journey of hate, friendship, and love, across the cosmos, and surrounded by some very interesting gods and goddesses of emotions, and abstract ideas. Start in the middle, delve into their past, and work your way into the future as Life and Death work to figure out their feelings, and hide away some of their darkest secrets. Can they unravel the knots of fate and love before their friendship is too late to save? - side note: If anyone actually reads my reviews, please check out this comic, because it is absolutely masterful. It is one of the webtoons I truly consider worth reading again and again. The art is gorgeous, and the story is unique and stunningly complex. The only reason why I would put it out here to actively read and support this comic is because the author is considering abandoning it due to the lack of support it has. They are losing faith in their ability to continue with this story, and they need support. If anyone would like to take time from their day to read and support this comic in any way, I highly recommend it, because not only is it something you will most likely love, but by reading and supporting The Snipster, you are giving them the hope to continue, and boosting their self confidence. positive feedback and genuine support can make someone feel better, and pull them out of negative thoughts. Whether or not they continue is entirely up to them, but even the smallest boost can make their day, and in the end that's what matters isn't it? This comic makes my day, and the days of many others, but the author has to deal with negative feedback and the grueling struggle of continuing something that is barely getting seen. Seems a little unfair, so if anyone would like to help another in a fair trade of happiness, then go ahead and read this comic, because I can almost guarantee it will make your day. That's it. Don't feel obligated, just putting it out there. ciao loves!
It's a really good story, how we can see these two characters develop the relationship and all. It's sad that the author leave it, she tried her best and all, but she's incredible and I'll continue to follow her stories, cause she's going to start a new webtoon/story.
Now for the scenery, it's amazing how she could manage to develop every scenery it's wonderful, amazng it takes away all your imagination, she just put it in another level.
The secondary characters, how the personality for most of them are so detailed and also how they fit, even though I didn't have any idea like that, are unique.
It's an amazing job, visually unique and the story is cute and intriguing.
It was abandoned... I can't believe it. It was an incredible story with beautiful drawings. I am so sad. I hate when stories with so much potential are just left without ending. There is nothing worse an author can do to readers.
