The bears from Cartoon Network's We Bare Bears aren't your average wild animals. Discover what makes them so special in this "scientific" report on bears!Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear are here to set the record straight about bears. Humans may think bears are slobby, smelly, and lack social graces, but that's not true! Here, the bears of We Bare Bears share what's great about bears in their own bizarre, yet heartfelt way—complete with jazzed-up graphics and fun (mostly fabricated) facts. This "educational" guide is one fans won't want to miss!
My vision of this book was of a factuäl, informative book about bears with humorous interjexions from the cast of the show. And about 25% of the book was that, and it was great: at least ⭐⭐⭐. Another 25% was the show’s characters talking about how awesome they are, which fits with the theme. But the other half of the book was sort of just a standard television companion book describing the characters and what they do on the show, which fans of the show already know! The show is pretty much the perfect one for our family, but the book seems pretty pointless. I wish they’d really gone thru with what must have been the original conception as displayed by the cover.
I read aloud the Portuguese edition as part of our ongoing foreign language practice at home.
It's goofy. It's engaging. There's plenty of opportunity to do voices. The kiddo would listen to a few pages at a time, and correct my pronunciation. :-D
