A wonderful love story that even after 30 years of being apart there love was as strong as ever and if you truly love someone time doesn't even matter!!!! Another Beautiful book by Mrs. Jackson so ready for October 4th "The Rancher Returns" have a great weekend and happy reading...
Really sweet story of how uncle Corey finally finds love of his life Abby, after being separated for 30+ years. Short and had some really beautiful moments. Unsafe as both move on (duh) Can't wait to read about Madison and Stone 3/5
CHARMING romance between two people who despite their 30 plus years of separation...NEVER stopped loving each other...and are determined to NEVER be apart AGAIN...no matter the obstacles...but will Abbie's daughter Madison come between the reunited lovers or will she give her blessing to them?!
This book was originally in a compilation, but Brenda Jackson released it as a single. I've read the entire Westmoreland series and I have to admit that this story was my very favorite with Dare/Shelley coming in a very close second place. Great, quick read!
I have tried to read all of Brenda Jackson's book. I don't know how this one got pass me. I enjoyed i very much. The only thing about it was, too short.
A love that spans 30 years. Corey Westmoreland met Abby Winters 30 years ago when they were both in college. They had an instant attraction. Corey knew that Abby was the one for him. Abby felt an obligation to submit to her parents' expectations and gave up the one man she would ever love.
But 30 years later fate will step in and reunite them in an unbelievable fashion. Even Abby married as her parents wished, she never had the love that she felt with Corey. Corey knew there was only one woman for him so he never married and never allowed any woman up on his mountain.
When he sees his one love again he is determined to never allow anything to separate them again.
I am so glad to read a story that features nature love. I felt bad for Uncle Corey and the life that he had chosen to live. I rejoiced with Corey and Abby. To me the story ended abruptly I would have one to have read more hopefully there story will continue in Stone's book.
I read this short story twice. I was happy to get this story. I read Stone Cold Surrender first awhile back so I had to reread it again after this. I wish the two books came as a combo since they fall right into place at the same time. It’s great to know that true love does not have an expiration date.
This was a sweet mature love story, a reconnection of two that first loved each other at 18 but could not have each other until they were 50. Life got in the way, as does parents, but when it’s true love it comes back around tenfold. Ps, I almost threw my phone at Corey proposing while, “on his knees” okay, sir! 🥵
This was a great second chance romance. Corey never stopped loving Abby. When she finally popped back in his life, 32 years later, she knew she never stopped loving him. This was such a cute novella.
So glad I’ve finally gotten around to this book! It was such a sweet second chance romance! And made more sense due to the fact that I read Book4 in the series score this one!
