Stalkerific H is obsessed with h on first sight and kidnaps her. h resists at first( she was a bit shrill) but eventually falls for him.
H has come up the hard way in life and has criminal business ties, however with the h, H is sweet, protective and dominating in turns. The sex scenes were super-hot too with some bondage elements!
Recommended to anyone who enjoys stalkerific H's and h's who fall for them!
4.25 stars! Taking away some points bcos the H was a mafia guy( not my thing!) and the h was a bit irritating in the beginning.

I love the idea behind this book. I love the idea of a rich, hot alpha seeing the h and immediately becoming obsessed with her, investigating her, having his security team watch her, in short, stalking her until he took her. I also liked the idea that he would take her and keep her captive in his penthouse apartment, spoil her and shower her with pleasure. Sounds pretty good to me. The thing I didn’t like was that the H didn’t seem to care about the h’s feelings. I wanted him to be as obsessed with her as he was but I also wanted him to show that he cared for her as more than an object and be more patient with her. I also wanted the h to soften towards the H earlier in the story. She’s very feisty and argumentative. While I love an argumentative h, I don’t love it when the h argues just to argue.
Other than that, I did enjoy this book (on my second time reading it) and rec it for those who are ok with the triggers, like argumentative h’s and love an obsessive anti-H.

I love this series! I highly recommend checking out Ms. Slater's work to any fan of the dominant alpha hero. Such diverse characters with faithful, possessive, jealous heroes who are way over the top commanding alphas. Fire & Vice is now an auto-buy series for me and I can't wait to read the next book! .

This is the third book in the Fire and Vice Series by Nikita Slater. Tyson King is a rich powerful man and he’s set his sights on Claudia Cantore who is new to his city. He’s been making plans to possess her but that all changes when he sees her enter the city’s most dangerous illegal gambling den. He knows Claudia isn’t really who she says she is and that her life is in danger. He knows the safest place for her is with him so he “kidnaps” her from the club and brings her to his penthouse. Claudia is on the run from dangerous men and she knows if Tyson has figured out her identity so will others. She’s stubborn and doesn’t accept Tyson’s help easily so he’s gonna have to convince her. Tyson is hot AF and even though I wanted to strangle Claudia in the beginning she did grow on me and became the perfect woman for him.
**Sidenote : I’m not too crazy about the cover, the female looks like she has no nipples. Lol

King is not a man to mess with and he is such an incredible Alpha!! I loved all their interactions and Claudia's fire! The book was fantastic and I'm going to be on a Nikita Slater binge now!! Tyson King deserves his place in my harem!!

Good read with good characters and well written. Story progresses well and ends well with several twists and turns which keeps it interesting.
My only complaint: Claudia started off strong and feisty like I like my heroines but ended up succumbing to Tyson's sexual/kink when she tried to run away from Tyson and was tricked into being caught by him and held captive in his cabin in the woods. This seems to be a pattern with many of these types of stories whereas the alpha male character uses sexual/kink to "control or teach their hostages a lesson." Becoming a man's submissive in novels becomes predictable after a while.
I actually would like to see an author expand upon a heroine who doesn't cave into the dark side of the alpha male who use his sexual/kink to coerce and control the heroine. A heroine who chooses to become his partner; not one controlled by the number of sex toys and bondage apparatus that she is exposed to resulting in numerous O's. Having great sex and being in love are two different things.
Claudia falls in love with Tyson quickly....she goes from being his hostage and hating him to loving him with the addition of a few sex toys and numerous O's. Unfortunately, women in these kinds of books can become diminished as people until the end where they do get the opportunity to redeem themselves. This author is good at making sure that her heroine's do redeem themselves by the end of the novel. Everyone likes an HEA; Slater delivers that even under the darkest of story lines.

I read this when it was first released and didn't realize I hadn't left a feedback. If you are a fan of Ms. Slater you already know how awesome her books are. If you haven't read her books, give them a try, just pick one, you wouldn't be disappointed. I have read thousands of romance novels from all Genres and Ms. Slater is one of my top 5 Authors. Her novels are a little bit more than your typical romance, but after reading the same kind of novels over and over you want something different and she certainly doesn't fail to disappoint. They are all unique in their own way with Alpha Heroes and Bad Ass Women who keep them on their toes....Enjoy! I know I did...lol.
RE: The Fire and Vice series are all standalone novels but still linked by the Characters as most of her books are. I love that, gives you a chance to find out what the other characters are up to. It's a must read series for anyone who loves Mafia Romance or Just Romance with an edge...lol. Ps: this one is my favorite of the series.

Claudia and Tyson’s story is a battle of wills. Alpha male takes on headstrong independent female who doesn’t want to controlled. After fleeing one relationship to be thrust into the arms of another man unwillingly. Claudia learns that all submission to the right man isn’t as bad as she thought. claudia! that sneaky little minx. innocent but street smart. shes running away from an enemy but becomes someone who tyson had fallen head over heels with and in love at first sight. reading about his extravagant lifestyle i can easily imagine this story as a movie. the part sitnikov (from savage vendetta) played in this book was awesome haha. i didnt expect tyson to be such a loverboy at the end as i was imagining someone more controlled but enjoyed the read regardless.
This series, though i had read them in different order, is absolutely a must read for mafia romance lovers. i love how it all goes together but is still great as a standalone. im glaf to have finally read tyson's story

Tyson is a man who gets what he wants and he wants Claudia. Claudia is on the run from a monster ex of hers and she constantly is looking over her shoulder and not setting roots anywhere because he always seems to find her. Tyson is her protection and he refuses to put her at risk. Even though he's an Alpha who truly cares about Claudia, he is overbearing and Claudia does not need another man telling her what she can and cannot do. This is a great read!! You love to hate Tyson and my heart just hurts for Claudia. I would definitely recommend this book!!

That was few years back but I never wrote a review so recently I started to re-read the series and decided to start reviewing them one by one. I enjoyed the sassy Claudia and King is so hot and absolutely amazing as he knows what he wants and never waver from the thought that he wants her so he just takes her. Excited!!!

Just Brilliant! This story hooked me right from the beginning! I just LOVE the controlling, dominant Mafia bad boy and that is exactly what Tyson is. He wanted Claudia so he took her and claimed her....so scorching hot!! With some seriously sizzling sex scenes...this was definitely a page turner! So many bad boys in this book, I just can't wait to read more in this series!!

Not really my type of book.
I didn't like its is written as the author tells the story. I think the story should have been told from the main female character POV.
Therefore it was hard to connect with the characters.
The storyline is ok, I didn't read the other books in the series so I don't know if there is any connection or if this plot is a continuation of previous books.
I found myself loosing interest with the female character at about 30%

Wow! I am impressed! I don't usually read interracial novels because 90% of the time the author is harping on the color of skin as opposed to telling a story.
HOWEVER, Slater NAILED this awesome story! She identified and developed the characters beautifully! And the storyline??!!!! Fabulous!!!

Now this is a way to write an interracial mobster romance! Mrs. Slater is up there with some of my favorite Authors: Suzanne Steele; Sienna Mynx; Mallory Monroe; Pepper Winters and Willow Winters!! This book is fabulous. A Billionaire and a beautiful girl who is on the run. This book is perfect, it has everything you could possibly want. Claudia has caught Tyson King's eye and what he wants is what he gets. Nothing stands in his way. There is some scorching, sinful sex, throw in dangerous mob men after Claudia and you have an outstanding book. Read it today, you will not be disappointed!

The smexy scenes were hot. I would have preferred to read about his stalking of the heroine and more development in their relationship coz it seems like the heroine is always running away or need to be saved. I liked Fear In Her Eyes better.

This is my first book I have read from Nikita Slater, and it definitely will not be my last! I really enjoyed Tyson and Claudia!! Wonderful dialogue, amazing chemistry and I loved every minute of their story. I highly recommend this book!!

Wow, this was intense! Claudia is on the run from her ex, but when Tyson sees her, he wants her and he always gets what he wants. This was a dangerous steamy story!
