The men in this series have a remarkable kind of strength
I have really been enjoying the make heroes in this series, they have a low key, laid back nature compared to do many of the Alpha heroes being written these days, and yet their genuine caring, supportive nature is addictive.
The prologue of Jackson's story continues the scene in the previous story's prologues, and fills in more details about what happened to set these events in motion.

Too short and missing some character development. Ending is abrupt and there is not enough to pull it up to a 4, due to the abruptness of transitions and the ending. good premise though.

This is the third book in the Secret Baby Bear Shifters series and I was a little disappointed in this one. While we get a lot of background about Olivia and her past relationship there was almost nothing with her and Jackson. Jackson rescues Olivia from a bad scene at her friends wedding and they spend the night...Olivia, Jackson and her son Max. This book ends with no real closure....Olivia does not fall in love with Jackson.....does not know he is a shifter or that he is Max's father. The book just ends with Olivia agreeing to go on a 'real' date with Jackson and at first I thought I might not have gotten a complete download of the story.

Conversation felt flat and cringeworthy between the h and H when they met at the wedding. But the worse was when the h decided to go back to the H's place, WITH HER KID, after just meeting him! TSTL.

Partridge called together a meeting. Apparently, due to a mix-up at the lab, shifter sperm donors’ research-only specimens were inadvertently sent to the sperm banks for use, with successful outcomes. Dodson University was offering to pay the new fathers a stipend in return for not being involved in the child’s life. Unfortunately for the university, that was not going to be an option anymore!
Olivia Hendricks, her child, and her roommate were heading out for the wedding of their friends, Kate and Ben. The wedding was lovely. At the reception, Olivia was dancing while holding Max in her arms, when she almost collided with a big man standing on the sidelines. Jackson introduced himself and Olivia felt very relaxed talking to him. Even shy Max accepted the stranger.
When it was time to go home, Olivia couldn’t find Lisa, her roommate. Her fellow bridesmaids helped look around – and a drunken Lisa tumbled out of the bathroom door with Olivia’s ex-fiance, Derek! This is the 3rd story in the series. This is a big improvement compared to the others. I liked the story. I liked the Prologue idea that she’s done because it explains things much better as we went along in the series. Olivia is out of a bad relationship of her cheating ex-fiance, Derek. He’s a douche plain and simple and honestly gives her the excuse that “men do these things”. He’s very manipulative and he easily guilts her into sorta giving him another chance by calling her a bad mother for spending time with Jackson. This comes from a guy who sleeps with anything including her roommate who she thought was her friend. I was fairly annoyed with Olivia for giving up so easily because she hurt Jackson who was a nice guy in the process. She’s lucky he’s very forgiving. I liked Jackson’s character a lot. He was sweet and a very understanding man and considered Olivia’s feelings before his own. Ok I was confused that the shifter issue didn’t really come up. I mean he sorta mentioned the bear thing but that could have easily been a joke. Olivia said nothing and that was it. So, he didn’t come out and say “Im a bear shifter”. This was a bit of a cliffhanger and we're left with him asking for a date and nothing about him being Max's father. A wee bit disappointing.

Jackson has just found out that he is a father. He goes to a wedding and sees Olivia and his son Max dancing to the music. Olivia stumbles and Jackson catches her. She is attracted to him, but does not trust her judgement in men because Derek her ex cheated on her after getting her to go to a sperm bank to become pregnant because he is sterile. And now at the wedding, Olivia and others see Derek and Lisa (her roommate and supposed good friend) tumble out of the bathroom where they have been having sex. Derek tries to persuade Olivia to take him back, but Jackson turns into his bear and chases Derek away. Then he goes back to Olivia and she decides that she can trust him after all. I love Becca's books. Hope there are more in this series. I was given this ebook as a free ARC for an honest review.

This novella is the third book in the Secret Baby Bears series. I like that this series has an interesting twist on the typical secret baby storyline. Jackson is a not standalone. Hot and steamy sex so definitely 18+.
While parts of this novella were good and I liked Jackson, the story is incomplete. While the author did fix some of the issues with this story, she didn't fix enough in the published version for me to rate this higher.
The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that info here. Be aware that this is an "insta-love" storyline and events move extremely quickly. This is a novella so settings and characters aren't as well described or as developed as they could be. But you have to expect that in a novella and suspend your belief a little more than usual. But there are just too many holes left in Jackson for me to give it a higher rating. I will continue to read more of this series, just to see where this twist on the typical secret baby storyline leads. I just hope the rest of the novellas are better written than Jackson was.

Both her and Lisa are bridesmaid at a wedding, which her douchebag of an ex is a Groomsmen. Seriously someone needs to slap him hard. She meets Jackson who both her and her son Max bond with quick. Jackson is such a good guy, he doesn't pressure her into anything and is thoughtful when it comes to Max. And when her heart is broken again he helps her out. But that ex of hers knows how to get into her head. Arhhhh I really wanted to shake some sense into Olivia at one point. It was frustrating reading Olivia and Derek conversation. I mean come on woman!!!!!! I like Olivia she deserves so oooo much happiness but in that conversation I think she needed a slap. Jackson being the awesomely Bear that he is, I nearly wanted to slap too, but he saved himself hahahahahah. Bear shifter why can't they be real?

What a wonderful and entertaining book this is and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. What you will find in this book is a single determined mother (Olivia Hendricks), her son (Max), a cheating lying ex-fiance (Derek), her best friend (Lisa), a determined to be a father bear shifter (Jackson), drama, intrigue, suspense, a wedding, meeting Jackson, a friends betrayal, Lisa moving out, Olivia refusing all contact with Lisa, Derek bugging her, threatening to call police, Jackson at her home, eating, a kiss, bedroom, intimacy, sleeping, a knock, Derek, wants to move in, going out, a bear chasing Derek, Jackson coming in, telling Olivia about overhearing a conversation Derek had on phone and telling her she must work on her people skills, he wants a real date with her. The story-line and plot is well thought out and written. The characters have needs and desires according to their personality. I would recommend this book to people that like to read a well written entertaining bear shifter romance.

Olivia is at her friends wedding. She feels like a mess because of all the stress in her life. She runs into Jackson who realizes that Olivia's son is his son and his bear knows Olivia is his mate. The two enjoy dancing at the reception. When it is time to leave Olivia looks for her best friend and roommate for her ride home. She catches her friend and ex-boyfriend in the middle of sex. Feeling betrayed by her friend she goes home with Jackson who promises he is just trying to help.
He gives Olivia the support she needs to deal with her cheating ex who wants her back and her friend who betrayed her. Olivia is very surprised when she is told that Jackson is her son's real dad.
This is a short sweet story that unites a new family.

I was given a copy of this novella in return for an honest review. I have read other work by Ms. Fanning, so I know she is a good writer. So I was surprised to find several important explanations omitted that would have made the storyline hang better--like explaining Lisa's involvement in an important scene. Other than that, the story was very good and I enjoyed it very much. It was told mostly from the viewpoint of Olivia (Max's mother), and the focal point of the romance. Jackson has tracked her down to locate his baby and found a beautiful, loving woman with an incredibly beautiful child--his child. A result of sperm donation, but HIS CHILD! The story deals with how they are building a relationship in the aftermath of Olivia's breakup with her fiance for his infidelity. Then said ex- returns. Of course, love is never smooth and you'll have to see what happens then!

4 stars This is a very good contemporary bear shifter romance. Jackson , a bear shifter, finds out due to an error at a sperm bank that he and a few of his clan members are now father's. They are offered a stipend to forget the children exist, Jackson wants a chance to know his child. Olivia is a single mom who has suffered through a recent betrayal. She has a little boy who is larger than his peers. Jackson and Olivia meet at her friends wedding. Ms. Fanning does a good job building the characters. Personally I wish the book was a bit longer because the couple hit it off quickly but they have obstacles to overcome. I received a free copy of this book solely in exchange for an honest opinion. I enjoy reading this authors books.

In the third book we meet Jackson and follow his story of finding his son and the mother he was born to. Olivia thought her life was going good, fiancé and a baby they decided to have together after it was found out he couldn't have kids, but all that changed when he cheated on her. Left on her own with her son, Max, she thinks living with her friend Lisa will be better. At wedding of a friend changes everything for Olivia and there she meets Jackson, who her son takes to right away. I loved that Jackson didn't give up on Olivia and Max, even when she gets confused about her situation. Another good read from Becca Fanning and the Secret Baby Shifter series.

This story in the series follows the story of Olivia, a single mom who currently broke up with her fiancé.As a bridesmaid at her friend's party, she witnesses her best friend Lisa hook up with her ex, and eventually starts to date Jackson. But no struggles come to an end easily and her ex does not want to make her life easy with his intrigues and malicious plotting.
Nice short story, although I have a feeling like this one is not closed and I want to know more about the revelation of Jackson being Max's father explicitly, or knowing more about some hints scattered across the pages.

Good story. While I love most of Ms. Fanning's books, I was a little disappointed in this one. He never told Olivia that her son or he was a bear. The characters are good though, and so is the story. I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Jackson is a bear shifter that finds out the sperm he donated for research was accidentally used for insemination. Olivia received his sperm when her fiancée found out he was infertile. After finding out that he's been cheating on her, she breaks the engagement and makes him move out. She is attending her friends wedding when she meets Jackson, while finding her best friend/roommate having a quickie in the bathroom with her ex-fiancée. Jackson wisks her and baby Max away from the spectacle ... Get the book to get the rest of this endearing story !!

Book three in the Secret Baby Bears series another good short book by Becca Fanning. Olivia Hendricks just wants the day over but it is her best friends wedding and she is part of it! Her two year old son Max is not wanting to be in the Tux he is wearing. Her ex-fiancé who cheated on her is also part of the wedding party,Derek is not a very faithful man even here at the wedding ! Olivia meets Jackson who is Max’s Father, but because there was a mix up at the sperm bank she went to she does not know that and Jackson did not until just recently. Will Jackson be able to make Olivia and Max his family or will Derek cause more trouble? I was gifted a ARC copy for an honest review.

I received a free copy of this book for an honest review - and my honest review is I really enjoyed it, and it followed on from the previous books of this series and my only reason for a four star review is the length. But on the whole it is a is a good but short novella. Jackson along with the rest of his brothers learns he's a father. Olivia lives with her young son Max and best friend Lisa following the split from her ex due to his cheating. What makes it worse is she has to attend her other friends wedding as a bridesmaid where her slimy ex is a groomsman. If I say any more it could well spoil the story, which I hate when reviewers give away to much - so enjoy.

Jackson just found out himself because of a mix-up at the sperm bank she used. How will Olivia react when she finds out? Do they have a chance for an HEA? This was a good read. This is the 3rd short story in Becca Fanning's Bear Shifter series about Shifters who had donated sperm for research, instead it was accidentally used to impregnate women who wanted babies. This is Jackson and Olivia's story. He tracks her and their son Max down at a wedding and things take off from there. It is a stand alone short lunch time read with a bit of heat and some action as Jackson chases off Olivia's ex-boyfriend. 4☆'s for a well told, short shifter story. Jackson searches for his biological son and finds Olivia at her friend's wedding. His son looks just like him and Olivia is everything he ever wanted. Olivia is not in a good place, with an ex-fiancé who wants her back and is trying to prove himself to her. So much heartache for Olivia, but meeting Jackson shows her that a good man is out there. Jackson may be too good to be true though.

Book 3 of secret baby bears series, the beginning sort of felt odd, only because it would be more appropriate at beginning of book one, but I am sure there was a reason it was delayed. Other than that the story flowed as smoothly as the first two. The main characters formed quickly and once again the storyline moved at a great pace. There is more to this story so I am hoping it continues in next book. This ARC was given to me for an unbiased review.
