Sebastian Dramatic. Hyper sensitive. Emotional. I know what they say about me. But I don’t give a shit. Buck taught me to never be ashamed of who I am, to never hide my true nature, and I will be respected for it. My kindness is often mistaken for weakness. I use that to my advantage. Mother and Aunt Enid rely on me to take care of them, even though they don’t see me as a capable man, one who can take care of himself. They are wrong. Buck was the one person who saw my true nature and harnessed it in order to maximize my strengths and hone my skills. He knew the real me, what I’m capable of. But he’s gone now, and I’m left searching for someone to believe in me.
Ashley What a difference a few months can make. My sister Clover found the love of her life in Range. I couldn’t be happier for them. The men who live at Buck’s Junkyard have become my second family, my brothers. But I want more from one of them. He’s sweet and kind, maybe too kind to give me what I need, but our bond of friendship is solid. I long for a savage beast that can take my body to heights unknown and never let me fall, not a shy worrywart that’s afraid to take what he wants. I want my hero to be more than just a sandwich, even if I have to force him to make the move we both want.
While helping Sebastian grieve the loss of the only father figure he’s ever known, Ashley catches the eye of a dangerous deviant hell-bent on having her for himself. With the lives of their women at stake, Sebastian and the other Junkyard Boys set aside their differences and fight together to save the women they love.
WOW !! If you thought Range's story was a rollercoaster then you ain't seen nothing yet !! Sebastian and Ashley's story is AMAZING !! The impression we were given of Sebastian in the first book was that he is meek, timid, weak, quiet, a plethora of things which are in no way who he is !! He's actually the complete opposite, i'd even go as far as to say he's the most dangerous of the "Junkyard Boys". Everyone thinks they know him, he thinks that everyone's always thought of him as weak, but again, in this, he finds out the truth...... This was an absolutely amazing story, i'd even go as far as to say i prefered Sebastian than Range. It was great to see him being strong, helping and loving Ashley (eventually), and realising that he was worth more than he thought. Then we get to Ashley, who learns, through her own silly mistake and jealousy that she needs to change her ways. This was absolutely AMAZING story !! I absolutely loved and seriously hope Max gets a story soon, he deserves some happiness xx
Im loving Sebastian and Ashley’s story more then ice-cream and donuts. This book has a little bit of everything you’d want, we’re given the sweet and gentle side of Sebastian mixed with the action and suspense provided by Mitch. I enjoyed seeing Clover and Range still moving forward and how all the sisters interact with each other. Max’s story has me intrigued and I will definitely be heading on over to his next. I’m hooked on these Junkyard Men that’s for sure.
SH took me on a helluva ride with this wild romance. I ended up reading this in one sitting and don’t regret it all.
Ashley is a wild woman, who lives for all the fun and excitement she can handle. Yet she longs for what her sister, Clover, has found with Range. I adore how Ashley grew so much compared to when I first met her in Junkyard Boys. She may have a wild streak, but her heart is pure gold and her sass game is strong.
It’s always the quiet ones to watch out for and Sebastian is 100% proof. He is the thinker of his group of brothers - sensitive, worrier, and protective but also has a hidden dominant side that comes out. I loved seeing him in all his glory and go from being a “momma’s boy” to the man that would burn the world to save the woman he loves.
SH cranked up the suspense and action in this one. Once I started, I seriously couldn’t stop. I loved how Ashley was there for Sebastian in the beginning and he flipped the script when she needed him in return. I enjoyed how this talented author packed in humor and emotion with just a dash of angst all while continuing on to build this world around Buck’s boys. The more works I read by this talented queen, the more I want. Range may have caught my attention but Sebastian won a piece of my heart with this story and I am excited to dive into the next book of this series.
When I read The Junkyard Boys (first book in the series, Range and Clover) I was drawn into their world and became intrigued with the characters. I was thrilled that Sebastian was the next one of the boys to be featured. Once again I found myself totally sucked into their story! For me, this one was even better than the first! I can honestly tell you it’s because of the complexity of Sebastian and the dynamic between Ashley and him.
Sebastian is not who you think he is. Is he sensitive, a bit worrisome, and quiet? Sure he is! But those are just a few of the layers that make up his complexity. He’s dedicated, trustworthy, strong and has a fire in him that nobody expects! He wasn’t always that way though. The day he met Range (book 1) his life changed forever. He was used to getting bullied because he was different and raised by a single mother and an older aunt who is quite colorful! Kids saw him as a sissy and an easy target. Range would introduce him to the man who became his father figure. He feels like he owes so much to Buck and the fact that he took him in and made him a stronger man. Buck saw into the heart of who he was and nurtured that fire and drive. He taught what it meant to be a real man and how to protect what’s yours. How do you go on and keep those lessons close to your heart when your whole world is crumbling apart?
Ashley hasn’t always been easily understood either. She’s a wild child at heart and loves to have fun. She’s more outgoing than her sister Clover but not as strong minded as her sister Shelly. There is a part of her that is the perfect balance of them. Ashely has always had a strong personality as well. She’s not afraid to say some of craziest stuff just to get a rise out of someone. She is a feisty and a spit fire!! But those are just a few layers that make up who she is. She has a soft heart and a kind soul. She is trying to figure out what she wants out of life and how to get there. Especially after the chaos that surrounded the boys a few months prior. It’s a tough thing to get your head around when you’re constantly trying to figure out where you belong in the first place. She’s not the same in the aftermath of it all. Some want her to take sides and to make decisions she’s not ready for. She’s in a tug of war she feels like she can’t win.
Sebastian and Ashley have a lot going on by themselves, but together it’s even more as one thing after another threatens them all. Their attraction to each other builds and their feelings are mixed in. The question is, can their relationship survive the storms that are threatening to take away the chances they have to be happy? What happens when some psycho decides that their love isn’t going to stop him from getting what he wants? Can Sebastian win this battle? Can Ashley help him to heal?
Creative adoration (positives): Once again Sharon created a set of main characters that draw you in and capture your heart. They are so raw, real and have many layers to them. It’s their likability that makes you want to stay in their world a little longer and learn even more.
Creative indifference (negatives): I can’t call it a negative really, but I wish the next one was done right now! But I have to behave myself and wait patiently.
Creative appraisal (overall): I really loved this book! When I read books in a series it’s important to me that each book is better than the last one. It makes the series as a whole more meaningful and successful. With each book that comes out I find myself anxious to see how it all plays out.
Hello Sebastian you sexy beast. He comes off as super sensitive, being raised by woman can do that to a man, but let me say this; it's the quiet ones you have to watch out for. Ashley is Clover's sister, she also seems to be the wild one. I loved her instantly. Ashley and Sebastian have this connection that is deep. I feel like it's because she was there for him when he needed her the most, when Buck died. Ashley may be wild and goes for what she wants but when she is done she is done. And with Sebastian putting up all the walls around him it's very hard to get him to open up. When they finally give each other a chance it's explosive. I was so happy when they happened. Not just because the sex was amazing but because I truly felt they needed each other. With outside influences though it's easy to forget what you have and trust in that.
SH Richardson is an amazing author. If you haven't read the Junkyard Boys STOP GO READ IT PLEASE. This series is so amazing and refreshing. I'm a fan for life. She sends me into a book coma and I have to recharge my emotions before I read again. I always come back to this series. I honestly wish I could unread this book to read it again.
Yes! Yes! Yes! SH Richardson has done it again! I didn't see much hope of her topping Junkyard Boys, but I think she may have with The Scrapyard Man! This book has it all! Mystery, intrigue, suspense, angst, romance, chemistry, hot sex and best of all one sexy alpha male!!!
Of all the boys Sebastian is the quiet one, the calm one, the sensitive one. Of the 3 sisters Ashley is the crazy one, the partier, the one who flirts her way thru life, not wanting to settle down and thinking there isn't a man that can tame her! That is until Sebastian comes along and shows her the man he can be behind closed doors! He's confident, cocky, determined and a god in bed! He's all she ever needed and never knew she wanted!
However there looms a quiet danger from her past, a danger she didnt even know existed. Will Sebastian come riding in to save the day, or will it be too late?
I recommend to anyone who loves a steady flowing storyline, tons of humor, lots of sexual chemistry and a wonderful story line! I cant wait to read more from this amazing up and coming author!
Okay so I thought I loved Range, but honestly I fell in love all over again with Sebastian. Love how each of the guys is different. While I didn't agree with how Ashley and Sebastian handled the "fight" they had in the beginning of the book, they definitely learned their lesson. Loved how Sebastian was actually completely different than I originally thought. He was just what Ashley needed with his dominant and steady side to counter balance her wild side. I felt bad for him being that it seemed everyone was hiding secrets from him. I'm not sure what to think about Max and really hope he gets his own book. I couldn't believe that he just threatened Ashley after she was attacked by Mitch and practically forced her to lie to Sebastian. Loved this book very much and will definitely be buying the paperback to add to my collection!

Having read the first book in this series, I was totally in love with Range. Sebastian, while nice, wasn’t really my kind of guy. Til Sharon Hall-Richardson released this instalment. Now I’m in love with Sebastian, a bit in love with Ashley and fighting the strong urge to mother one other character. Readers will know who! I was shocked to discover The Junkyard Boys was a debut novel, the quality of the writing was so good. This book, however is miles ahead in terms of polish and style with the same gritty realism that makes you want to wash away the sweat from their American summer despite reading in Wales in October. If I could “one-click” books before their titles were even released, this series would be one of my first.
After reading The Junkyard Boys I hoped each one of the brother would get their own story, so I was thrilled when I heard The Scrapyard Man was being released. This book was excellent, and it had me hooked on each and every word. Although this is Sebastian and Ashley's story, we meet up with everyone from the previous novel. This book had it all, there were well developed characters, action, steamy sex scenes, romance, and family which all came together to form an interesting storyline . The novel also touches on grief, dealing with loss and abuse against women. This was a great read and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series.
Man oh man how I loved Sebastian! He comes off as the shy boy who worries to much about everything! Always with the health reminders and what ifs. A sensitive mama's boy. But boy did he have me fooled! Once you get to know him...out comes that sexy ass Alpha who will rock your world! He is everything a girl needs.... sensitive, not afraid to show his feelings, rock your world in the bedroom, and protective! Ashley has no filter and acts in the moment....a complete opposite of our thinker and planner Sebastian. When they come together it's like fireworks! Loved the second installment of the Junkyard Boys. So ready for more.
I loved The Junkyard Boys, but I love The Scrapyard Man even more. Sebastian is one of a kind and you can't help but fall in love with him. Ashley is a strong spit-fire that doesn't pull any punches. I love this book and I recommend it to everyone! You will not be disappointed! Along with a HEA, you will also experience so many laughs. I love the brotherhood interactions. They stick together, when needed the most. I also love the way we meet the family of Sebastian. Suzanne his mom is an amazing woman. His Aunt Enid, not so much, lol. I can't wait to read more of SH Richardson's books to see what she has for us next
Sharon Hall-Richardson has done it again! I loved this story. Sebastian and Ashley have liked each other since the met. They just never acted on it until now. Omg! I loved them as a couple. His nickname "little worm" or "little inchworm" for Ashley was so cute. Their relationship wasn't perfect in the beginning, but when you care and love someone as much as they do, you work things out. Through tragedy and all, they came out stronger then ever. I'm really glad I got to see the real Sebastian. He is a wonderful guy and Ashley is one lucky lady. Thank you for another amazing story. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone
Strangely enough I didn't dig this one as much as the first book. Although I loved the duality of Sebastian's personality, I just felt some of the dialogue was cheesy and over the top.
I meant to mention in Junkyard Boys that I didn't love the nickname Range gave to Clover. The nickname Sebastian gives to Ashley is even worse. The names just feel uncomfortable to read. I couldn't imagine someone actually speaking them.
That being said, I do want to read Max's story. He needs to get hisself together and I want to read how that happens.
You gotta watch out for the quiet ones!! I thought Range was hot. Sebastian is giving him a run for his money! For a seemingly polite, quiet man he sure suprised me! Ashley is a party girl and Clovers sister. She definitely keeps Sebastian on his toes! We get to see his take charge alpha side. Also got to catch up with Clover and Range and the other Junkyard Boys. I'm waiting, not so patiently, for the stories of the rest of the boys! Loved the twists in this one, kept me reading and wanting to know more!
Hold on to your hear!!! This series just got a whole bunch better!! You can never judge someone by their cover. Everyone saw sebaston as a worry wart, over cautious, a mommas boy but how wrong they where. Ashley is a free spirit and loves life but she wants what her sister found. When these two finally give into what they feel will a fight and a bad decision tear them apart forever or will love stand the storm. I can't wait for max's story. The emotions just roll of the pages. You fall in love with these characters.
Sebastian was picked on and bullied in school but with the help of Buck he learned a few tricks and was able to stand up on his 2 feet. Ashley thought she knew Sebastian but 1 mistake cost her and put her in danger with the wrong man. Now tensions are high when a stalker wants Ashley for himself and will do anything and hurt anyone to get her. Can Sebastian protect her and keep her safe for himself with out pushing her away again.
I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book. This is book 2 of the Junkyard Boys by the author.
What a powerful book! This book is the second in the series concerning The Junkyard Boys and this is Sebastian's and Ashley's story. Most of the characters from The Junkyard Boys are back in this edition. Sebastian is the thinker and diplomat of the "brothers" but is just as manly in his own way. Ashley is Clover's sister and the party girl but quickly learns about Sebastian and his ways. This is a must read is one is a reader of SH Richardson's work. Now on to the wedding!
The quiet ones are always the ones you have to watch out for
I did not think she could top Range and Clovers story but wow I was so wrong . The boys are still reeling from the loss of their dad, Max is spiraling and a new love blooms . having to deal with a crazy man, and misunderstandings make this book keep drawing you in with each page. The love these boys have for each other and their women prove just how good the lessons their dad taught them stuck.
This is the 2nd book in the Junkyard Boys series and we are happy to get to know a little more about the Junkyard boys. The story of Sebastian and finding his love was one I wanted to throw my kindle at times! Learning more of the families was an added bonus that made the characters even more real to me. I truly believe Ms. Richardson has an amazing series for us and look forward to more! So much to learn about these Junkyard Boys!
I absolutely loved this story!! Ashley and Sebastian are amazing together!! Ashley and her smart mouth and rebellious self, mixed with Sebastian's quiet polite, but secretly alpha in the bed demeanor. They are the perfect match!!! This book kept me very entertained from beginning to end and I was very happy with the ending! HEA books are my all time favorite reads!! I can't wait to read more!!!
I voluntarily agreed to read this book and this is my honest review!!
This book was fabulous!! Ashley and Sebastian's story is absolutely breathtaking because Ashley reminds me of myself. And Sebastian reminds me of my husband. SH out done herself on all the sex scenes. I lived in the moment just like I was there while they were playing out. Needless to say a cold shower didn't even help. I would highly recommend this book to a friend or even a complete stranger that likes the hot and steamy vs suspenseful and dramatic!! Loved Loved Loved!
I came across this book on face book on another authors page. I read the blurb on this story and had to have not only this book but the first as well. They were so wonderful I devoured them in a day! I look forward to more books to come( I'm dying to to know what happened to Max!)
This book is great. The storyline is fun, sexy and keeps you interested as you dive a little futher into the world of the junkyard. I loved Ashley's character but Sebastian really shines in this book, he is just one of those characters that you want to know better. I am excited to see what comes next.
The quiet ones are always the ones to watch out for and Sebastian does not disappoint🔥
I could not wait to read Sebastian's book after first meeting him in Junkyard Boys, Range and Clover's book. After really getting to know this sweet man who wore his heart on his sleeve I absolutely LOVED him and couldn't not get enough of Sebastian and Ashley.
I enjoyed this, the second book in this series, very much. Sebastian is a very complex, liveable, Alpha male with the sweetest side. He was the p perfect counterpart to Ashley with her sassy, sexy self. I LOVED their dynamic and their story. Looking forward to Max's story.
This is the second book that. Have read by S. H. Richardson and I enjoyed this book a lot. It has everything a girl could want: flirting, a hot man and even hotter sex. Sebastian and Ashley are a great couple and I enjoyed watching the move from friendship to a relationship.
Absolutely loved seb and Ashley story. Love the three sisters. Hope there is more to come, this book is well worth the five stars and would recommend this series to anyone.
Another great book by this author. The first book will always be special for me. But this book was still great. Now I can't wait for Julian or max's book. Hope there next.
I'm new to this author and I love this series. All of the characters are great and the secondary characters are well formed. Ashley and Sebastian are an awesome couple. I can't wait until Julius and Max get their true loves.
