Castaway on a savage, alien world, I am trying to reach the emergency beacon to call for help. Everything on this world is trying to kill me from dragon-like creatures, to torrential storms, to the radiation that is slowly cooking me from the inside out. The only thing keeping me alive is Venturi, my alien boyfriend. And he’s taken me to his village…
Part three of a serial. Beware of cliffhangers and hot aliens.
Annie Nicholas hibernates in the rural, green mountains of Vermont where she dreams of different worlds, heroes, and heroines. When spring arrives the stories pour from her, in hopes to share them with the masses one day.
Mother, daughter, wife are some of the hats she happily wears while trudging after her cubs through the hills and dales. The four seasons an inspiration and muse.
I am IN LOVE with this series. First of all, holy smokes. Annie did not hold back on the steam with this one.
Nextly, as with the other two installments, the imagery is spectacular. Also spectacular is Wendy's voice; so sarcastically funny, I absolutely love it!
I have a feeling part four is going to be phenomenal! Not to mention this installment opened the door for the possibility of other spin-offs about other members of the crew...I hope! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HAT HAPPENS!!!

DELIGHTFULLY ENTERTAINING SCI-FI ROMP Title: Venturi Part Three Series: Crashlander Designation: Book Three of Serial, NOT a Standalone, Cliffhanger Ahead Author: Annie Nicholas Reading Platform: Kindle Unlimited My Rating: Five Delightfully Entertaining Stars***** RELEASE THE KRAKEN! Oh my! It's official! I'm completely in love with Venturi! It's absolutely delightful! I adore science fiction, totally smitten with sexy aliens, and completely addicted to romance, but up the ante with a little action and adventure, and I'm in heaven! And that's exactly what Annie Nicholas has given her readers in Venturi, and she's done it Annie Nicholas style with lots of cutesy humor, clever banter, instant attraction, dreamy romance, and some hot as haydees alien/human sex. Of course, a fabulously sexy sci-fi romp from the extraordinarily talented Nicholas shouldn't surprise me in the least since I'm already a huge Nicholas fan, and have been for several years, or more specifically since her Angler Series which was AMAZEBALLS, and if the first two installments of Venturi are any indication of what's to come, Nicholas most certainly has another hit on her hands! And yes, I did say installments, so be forewarned, this is not a standalone story. This is a serial with multiple releases and cliffhangers. I have no idea how many there will be but in the blurb, Nicholas states the complete serial will be available as a box set in October. I truly enjoyed the first book but I loved, loved, loved Book Two! Venturi is an exciting, clever, imaginative, fast-paced, well-crafted science fiction saga with a generous amount of danger, drama, action, adventure, humor, and romance. I can't even begin to imagine anything written by Annie Nicholas that doesn't contain humor and romance; it's just a given. The narrative is beautifully written in the first person with his and her perspectives. The dialogue is smart, snappy, well executed and flows effortlessly. But my favorite component of this story is the fascinating and totally engaging cast of characters. I became completely invested in the crew and their journey. I actually felt as if I were experiencing their terror as they crashed onto an unknown alien world. It was really kinda scary, so much so that my heart began fluttering wildly in my chest. The female protagonist of the story is Wendy, the plucky and extremely capable pilot of the spaceship, who lived on a space station near Saturn her entire life and has never even set foot on a planet until the crash. Heck, she's never even had a bath in water...until now! And wouldn't ya just know, her very first water bath is with a sexy alien! Hubba! Hubba! After all, water is a very scarce commodity in space, used only to cook and drink. We're briefly introduced to the male protagonist in Book One but in Book Two, we discover a lot more about him, including the fact that when he sees Wendy, he has a very unexpected reaction to her...because she's his mate! Oh my! His name is Venturi and he's very tall with a lean swimmer's body, violet eyes with cat-like slits for pupils, lots of hunky muscles and dark skin...no scratch that since he doesn't exactly have skin, he has hide covered in a thin layer of black fur. Of course, when he looks at Wendy or touches her, he develops spots on his body. What? Yes, they're mating spots. They verify that Wendy is his mate. Oh, I almost forgot, he also has two hearts....and...wait for it...a long tail, almost like a lion. Huh? Yup, definitely a tail, and he really likes the color pink which is the adorable skin color of the beautiful, curvy female creature who just crashed onto his planet, Crashlander. I was immediately drawn into the story during the opening scene of the first book, where a small group of humans ventures out of our solar system to test the first ever spaceship capable of lightspeed... and almost immediately crash into an unknown planet. What? Yup, the very first flight. Apparently, Dr Pherb, the inventor of lightspeed technology, is not as good at flying or controlling the ship as he is at inventing the technology, much to the dismay of the actual pilot who now must guide the crashing spaceship and attempt a landing on the strange green planet. Green???? Good luck with that because they crash and not everyone lives. Oh no! And FYI, they aren't alone! There are all kinds of species inhabiting the planet, some friendly and some who are quite dangerous and just want to eat the humans for dinner. Oh no! Although there was no actual romance in the first book, Nicholas really got down to business in the second and we have lift off! Venturi recognizes Wendy as his mate, and strangely, Wendy is more than a lot attracted to Venturi. Now, if they can just overcome the language barrier so Venturi can convince her to accompany him to his village so his people can implant some sort of device under her skin which will prevent her from dying from radiation poisoning, then maybe he'll be able to claim her as his mate. And the sooner the better as far as Venturi is concerned because he wants pups! Unfortunately, Wendy has other things on her mind, like reaching the other half of the spaceship, which separated during the crash, so she can activate the rescue beacon to send a signal to Earth...and maybe they could eventually be rescued. Well, she couldn't be rescued because she'll die from radiation poisoning from being outside the spaceship unless Venturi can somehow make her understand she needs the implant. Sadly, she may be eaten by a dragon first. Oh dear! In Part Three, our story resumes as Venturi races against the clock to save Wendy. Time is his enemy. The savage natural predators and harsh environmental conditions of the planet continue to impair the journey back to his people, the tassuone. If he can't get her to their healer, she will die. Against insurmountable odds, Venturi manages to reach his village with Wendy aka 'When-di'. His tribal chief finally agrees to allow the village healer to proceed with the implantation of the organic bioprocessor which will not only cure the radiation poisoning but also includes some sort of translator technology allowing them to now communicate with each other. Venturi learns there are still eight human survivors at the crash site, of which seven are female. This could be very good news indeed for his tribe. His people are in desperate need of more females for mating, but will the chief and healer of his tribe be willing to share their resources to save them? We'll see! Stay tuned folks, there's more to follow in Part Four! I can hardly wait to find out if the remaining humans are rescued... if any more of the tassuone tribe find their mates among the seven human women...and if Venturi gets those pups! lol...! Well done, Annie Nicholas! Your personal love for science fiction translates well in this delightfully cute sci-fi romp!
Did I like it? No, I loved it! Will I read more? You bet! Just as soon as Nicholas releases Part Four! Would I recommend it? Absolutely! Was I entertained? Completely! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read! Oh, and if you want to know about my 'release the kraken' opening comment, you'll just have the read the series! You'll love it!
Book: Venturi Part Three: Alien Romance (Crashlander) Author: Annie Nicholas Publication Date: 9/19/2016 Reviewed by: Tammy Payne- Book Nook Nuts My Rating: 5 Stars
REVIEW Wow part 3 and it is wickedly good. Wendy and Venturi are trying to outrun all kinds of creatures and end up in the trees above. But just when things are going good and these two have figured out a way to communicate the heavens open above and heavy rains begin. Venturi senses something is wrong with Wendy although he is unsure what and with them not being able to speak to each other, it is up to him to get her to his village to their healer but can he.
He knows he has to she is his to protect and she has shown him that she is accepting of him in many ways and very hot ways too.
Yes there is a cliffhanger but rest assured it looks like the next one will come out within a month or so. I have enjoyed all three stories so far and I am awaiting more.
I was gifted this book for my honest review Annie Nicholas
I love this series but this installment felt ridiculously short. I felt like I was just getting into it when it abruptly ended. For some reason, I thought this was to be the conclusion, but apparently part 4 will be the end. I'm really looking forward to that because although I love the world Annie Nicholas has created, these cliff-hangers are driving me crazy.
Aside from that, which I realize is not a big deal for everyone, I really haven't any complaints. Somehow, Annie Nicholas manages to make Venturi sound sexy. He's an alien with pointy teeth, big claws, and a tall! He's barely humanoid, certainly a different species, and yet he and Wendy are destined mates. And the weirdness of that whole issue is probably what makes this story so fascinating. It’s worth reading.
Another thrilling and sexy addition to this incredible series!!
Part 1: Crash-landing on a planet; Wendy needs to hike to a distant piece of wreckage to activate the emergency beacon for a possible rescue.
Part 2: Alien Venturi saves and seduces our intrepid Wendy.
Part 3: Venturi saves Wendy again, and is now permanently etched with the mating spots as Wendy is his mate. The communication barrier is very dangerous right now, and Venturi is frightened at how fragile Wendy seems. He must take her to his healer as the poison from the planet is killing her.
Back at his village, fearing contamination, and wary of giving a precious bioprocessor, Venturi finally convinces his chief and the healer to help Wendy. But will the bioprocessor accept Wendy and vice versa? And if so, will she accept him as her mate? Long term – can they activate the beacon, and/or save her shipmates.
These two struggle to survive and to fulfill their bond– in this sensual, exhilarating tale!! Write faster Annie Nicholas!!!!

Title: Venturi Series: Crashlander Destination: Part Three., 55 Pages Author: Annie Nicholas Reviewer: Ingrid Stephanie Jordan Genre: #SciFi #Aliens My Score: #5Stars☆☆☆☆☆ ♡•°•♡•°•♡•°•♡•°•♡•°•♡•°•♡•°•♡•°•♡ Well this is just a good one too, yes there little short stories but I got news for you they keep you going like you're on the edge of your seat every single time I reckon that the volume 1, 2, 3, all add up to one book. Geezzzzz I can't wait for volume 4. Oh I definitely recommend this volume 3 all the volumes in fact. Wendy aka When-di is a human who crash landed. Trying to survive the different creatures on this planet may be the death of her even this planet is poisonous to anybody that's on it. When-di almost succumbed to this if it wasn't for her mate Venturi‘al Durab i Pallopa taking her to Ne’flav the healer. So this is a short review for a short story. Did I mention a cliffhanger? A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.
Fascinating is the organic microchip that helps the extra-planet species to survive the radiation of the second sun, all the rest is about the mating, so ok...nothing new, but still I'm looking forward to read the end.
Distance to home it was so exciting. The story moved along at a faster pace and our hero and heroin we're finally able to communicate their thoughts to each other. I love the direction that this installment went , and the conflict it caused with whether or not the other humans could be saved , and why the village should puts so much effort into the humans survival.
I have really enjoyed the series. This part really shows how much both have begun to trust one another and rely on each other. I love how kind and loving Venturi is towards Wendy. There is a such a sweetness about their relationship and plenty of heat too.
Well... he almost lost her but with the help of his people she is safe and can now communicate with him. But can they make it to her people before the radiation get them too?
