WONDERFUL LOVE STORY, AGAINST THE ODDS HUNTRESS vs VAMPIRE
I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK FOR AN HONEST REVIEW ........ OVER 18 + READING
Gold (25) is teaching her 15 year old sister Lily to follow the Joneses family tradition as a huntress (all the women have special gifts that help them sense their prey-ghouls, zombies,vampires-, men just help research).Lily having a fit because she couldn't go to her friends party, not knowing she is going on this hunt alone but her sister will be watch though a rifle scope for security. At first Lily picked up on one mile north (not what Gold wanted her to find 2 streets over but when she told her to try again she got the right one. Though while watching Gold picked up a strong old vampire where Lily had said and knew she would have to check it out cause one that old and strong could destroy a city in a few days and she couldn't allow that. Her mother and aunt were not in town for backup, since they were on a hunt for a month. Adam Luther owns a bookstore in town and he is a 343 year old vampire who has lived there 12 years, but keeps his self masked so he can't be picked up but had dropped the mask while moving a bookcase that night. When she went to draw him out she sensed another one though blood soaked (having fed) but no slimy feel like the first one she felt,she's in more danger then she thought with no one to call for backup.Adam is thinking he should have know there was a huntress in his town(he doesn't know there is a family of huntress Gold, Lily, their mom,2 aunts, a cousin Charlie and sometimes their grandmother are from that town) but when he sees her , then talks to her he is draw to her and taste her from her wrist thinking she is interested.Gold is not about to admit she could be interested since that would break all the rules in her family. But when Adam discovers and old friend in town and he is killing, he knows Gold will need help and he will also need help to take out this vampire.Richard Okano is one of the most dangerous bast**** in the world, even back when he was mortal. He wants to find her but only has her phone and she has bricked it.Both are having dreams that include the other. Only three hours sleep but when she wakes she has a mark from the bite on her wrist like tree branches, a hunters mark meaning she must kill him or die trying.Adam also finds a mark when he wakes but is more worried about Okano and having him find out about Gold then a mysterious tattoo, he does and internet search because he wants to know more about her and to warn her about Okano. These two natural enemies must decide to fight and let the human girl Okano has kidnapped a week ago (which means according to pattern) he will drain her that night and has been torchering her for a week. Can these two work together, trust each other? Can they find a way around the curse (where one must kill the other)of the mark? What will happen when her mother another returns ?learns of the curse mark?learns of her daughters love of their family old enemy? Can she except it?How can he prove himself to them?

I recieved this in exchange for an honest review and i am mightily glad that i did! This is a brilliant book!!! I was so hooked that i read it in a few hours! I felt compelled to turn page after page to find out more about this action packed paranormal romance!

The storyline in this book is so addictive to read! It is a very compelling book with surprises around every corner, there is the right amount of action, adventure, romance and thrilling aspects! The way this tale is written you feel everything along with them, it produces emotions from you, it made me smile numerous times and i believe that that shows the talent of a brilliant author when you can go with them on the journey from their imagination! I really really hope that this book is the first in a series as i would love to read more of this world and the characters in it.

My view on strong, independant women has always been the same, i love them, love reading about them and you certainly get this from Gold. She is definitely what you would describe as strong, emotionally and physically, like all strong people there is always a chink in the armour, a very small way in to see the vulnerability inside. She has a huge heart and cares deeply about the people she loves, she tends to take a lot of responsibility onto her shoulders but all this makes her the fierce warrior that she is! Then we come to Adam, a scarred vampire trying to redeem himself from the horrors of his past. Although being a vampire he is also a good man, a protective man who tries to keep people safe, showing the honour he has inside that he doesnt see! I loved reading about both of these charachters, they were very lifelike in their feeling and fears and for me that enhanced the reading pleasure even more.

I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to get this book as it is one in a million, loved it !!!

I really enjoyed reading this Paranormal romance! I was able to emerge myself right into the story within the first few pages! Fantastic characters and story line!

Gold, Marigold, is a huntress just like the rest of the females in her family line. They protect humans from zombies, ghouls and vampires. She has some extra abilities like being able to sense when one is around which makes it really easy to clean up the trash outside of Chicago. She senses two vampires, but only one of them is really registering with her. The other one, even though he is an older vamp, doesn't seem to register much. When she meets Adam she almost forgets that he is a vamp. She even let him take a sip of her blood. That sip caused some markings which look like tattoos. Supposedly being Marked means that one of you must die before the markings reach one's heart. She has a hard time thinking about killing Adam even though he had a bad history. For some reason he as able to work along side humans for the past 12 years without calling any attention to himself. She can't help being drawn to him.

Adam has been around for over 300 years. During his early years he was a monster. He killed his victims when he needed to feed and let his bad side run run wild. It has been in the last 50 or so years that he was able to get in control of his vamp tendencies and has been trying to keep his town clean of evil undead beings. He has a bookstore where he has hired and been around humans for the past 12 years without any issues. When he comes upon the huntress, Gold, something changes. He is attracted to Gold unlike anything that he has experienced in the past 300+ years. Vampires don't get sexually excited, but now he is. When he starts to get tattoo like markings on his arm, just like Gold's, things get even hotter between them.

Gold is a hunter and Luther a vampire is normally her prey, however she is finding it very difficult to stick to her normal MO of stake and run. Luther is drawn to Gold in so many ways. His normal caution has blown by the wayside with his fascination with her.

Luther’s past is filled with blood and thoughtless killing, he has become a changed vampire and is making penance of a sort in this small town where he protects the humans from those of his kind and other things that go bump in the night.

Gold and Luther must work together to bring down and even greater evil while fighting their growing attraction to each other. They are now both marked one of them must die for the other to live.

This is fast paced not too much angst star-crossed lovers story. Their normal ways of dealing with one of their ilk seems to have deserted them as they are both drawn to each other. Even as Luther craves the blood running through Gold’s veins he knows that he would give everything up to keep her safe. Their fates are now irrevocable linked on their way to their HEA.

This novel was well written and edited with few if any typos that I caught. I enjoyed this romance more than I thought I would, considering I thought that I was tired of vampires.The characterization and development of the romantic relationship between the hero and heroine were both top-notch in this novel. The romance between these two developed naturally and organically and these two were both very sympathetic characters. The world building with the somewhat supernaturally gifted female hunters was interesting, and the fact that the "curse" could also mate bond a huntress and vampire was a cool addition. This novel uses a variation on the Fated Mate trope which I call the Mate Bond trope. The angst in this novel was about medium and the stakes were very high, which is one of my preferred narrative structures in a romance novel. I recommend this romance to any reader who enjoys paranormal romance, even if you think you are tired of vampires.

I received and arc for my honest review.

I thought the book in general was very well put together. It was believable and the characters blended well.
The story flowed nicely and is easy enough to follow.
I enjoyed the tried and tested formula of the hunter/hunted with a few loose threads of story that tie it all together in a nice little bow at the end.
One of the reasons I’m only giving it a 4* is because I don’t really want to label this as a sexy paranormal romance - the raunchy scenes (although very descriptive at the certain times they did pop up) just felt very hurried and rushed, like you had to think of a quick way to describe a dirty dream in 3paragraphs - it just didn’t really get you feeling connected at that particular point in the book.

The book is worth a try if you like the whole ‘Vampire genre’ the story and it’s descriptive settings make up for what you’re lacking in the romance area.

I couldn't get into the story but am sure lots of readers will. Marigold, known as Gold is a member of the Jones family who protects their town from supernatural attacks. She and her family can sense when supernaturals are around and have reflexes that give them the upper hand when fighting against the enemy.

Adam is an old vampire who has changed his ways and grown a conscious over the time he has been a supernatural. He now also protects their town from supernatural threats including another blood thirsty vampire.

When Gold and Adam meet the unexpected happened and they are drawn together by dreams and a mark on both their arms. While Gold's family tells her the mark means either he dies or she does, there is always hope that it will work out in some other way.

Gold is a hunter who is descended from a long line of hunters who protect the world from paranormal monsters. Some how she finds herself in an uneasy alliance with Adam, a vampire, when they unite to combat a mutual enemy. But can a truce last between a hunter and her prey?

This was a quick entertaining, stand-alone, enemies-to-lovers story with a great HEA. My interest was captured early and maintained throughout the book. I enjoyed the slight differences in characteristics of vampires which added interest and enjoyed another strong female lead from this author.

As a fan of Ms. Rudolph’s, I was curious about a book that wasn’t a Sci Fi-romance. I was not disappointed. The characters of Gold and Adam are wonderfully written and I felt an empathy for them from the very beginning. This story is refreshingly different from most vampire boyfriend stories that I have read. There is also the question of how they were going to find their happy ever after. I thought it was a great resolution at the end. No spoilers here. It was a page turner for me and kept me up much later than I usually am. A great read.

Marigold aka Gold is a vampire hunter she protects the city from all kinds of supernaturals she has been dreaming of a vampire and they both have the same mark so when she meets him she doesn’t kill him actually she is attracted to him. Adam is an old vampire he’s three thousand years old he has changed his ways and now he protects humans from his own kind and when he meets Gold he is very attracted to her but there is danger in their city so they both work together but can things work out for a hunter and a vampire?. I loved this story it’s a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This was a surprisingly good story that draws the reader in immediately! Both of the characters had their issues, yet each had something inside that made the reader hope they could find acceptance in each other. It looked like maybe they were beginning to find it. Grab your copy and see!

After reading this book I had to take a little time to compose myself and get my thoughts clear in my head before I put them in a review.
Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. Vampire hunter, Gold Jones, job is to hunt down and kill vampires like Adam Luther and ghouls. Adam has changed over the years and is no longer the evil vampire he used to be but now helps keep his town safe from other evils.

I did enjoy this book but did not fall in love with it like her other books. It was well written and I liked the characters but it was slow to build up and felt like it needed a little more. But overall it was a good book.

Took me by surprise

This is not my choice of genre but I adore the author
I picked this up to read without reading the blurb and I am glad that I did

A very quick and unexpected romance .... well it was for me..
A simple vamp/vamp hunter romance. It is not enough to convert me to the dark side, but I might not be too hasty to shun other books in the same genre if I trip over them. :0)

Really enjoyed this, a little different but a good read.
Adversaries Gold (huntress) and Adam (reformed vamp) meet on a fighting, hunting night and they are drawn to each other. Gold tries to fight the pull, but things happen for a reason and fate is tricksy.
They end up joining forces to fight an evil that is hunting and hurting humans. When that evil attacks Holds family, all bets are off for Adam and he puts himself in mortal danger to save Gold and her family.

I liked this story. The concept was interesting and fun to read. Gold made me laugh. I loved her family and thought her interactions with Adam a hoot. I liked the bit of mystery and the thrill. It was a steamy but not nasty fun read that hooked me from the beginning and kept me reading to see what Adam and Gold would end up facing and what they would decide in the end (who would live or die). It was fun watching them hunt the bad guy.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Adam has a thirst for Gold, literally, but what brings them together is more than the danger that lurks. Adam is a "reformed" vampire that pairs up with Gold to find a killer, but what they found changes their lives forever. Lots of drama, suspense and heat that will have you reading the book till your're done.

I enjoyed the forbidden paranormal story!. It's a fairly quick read with action, mystery, suspense, angst, danger and passion. This is a fast paced read about a vampire hunter and a reformed vampire. It's a very addictive read that sucked me in. Marigold and Adam are drawn together but are suppose to be enemies. All of sudden marks appear on both of them. What does this mean? I love the characters!

Huntress Gold (FMC) is on the track of a Vampire - Adam except hes not exactly like any other Vampire shes come across before. They say opposites attract and they certainly do with these two enemies. They both manage to put aside all that when they need each others help and then the sparks start to fly between them. A pretty good read i think. I liked it

Gold was a huntress and it was her job to rid her town of anything supernatural. Adam was a vampire. When he first saw Gold he was entranced with her. Their unnatural attraction to each other couldn’t be helped and sometimes love does conquer all. Interesting read

have read other titles by this author and this is just as good as those. The author did a great job with giving these characters life. The chemistry is undeniable and steamy. The storyline flows smoothly from beginning to end.
