Python 201 is the sequel to my first book, Python 101. If you already know the basics of Python and now you want to go to the next level, then this is the book for you! This book is for intermediate level Python programmers only. There won't be any beginner chapters here. This book is based on Python 3.

Great book with tons of examples to help in your own projects. This book is cookbook style with a vast range of libraries and modules introduced. A personal favorite of mine is the PRAW reddit API wrapper that I discovered through this book which has taken my "redditing" to a whole new level. :)
I highly recommend this book for intermediate python programmers. Currently use it as a reliable reference to visit concepts that I need quick code for.

Read this in my Python Book Club. It is a decent tour of various libraries with a lot of usage examples. I liked the breadth of the examples, but many were too simplistic. While they were fine for demonstrating syntax, many examples left us wondering how to make use of the libraries in "real" code.

I am not a python developer but it is always good to get a glimpse of other languages. Most of the books are focused on trivial things such as how write if and for statements. This book contains advanced features; you may read it as a list of python recipes.
