Have You Tried Sketch

Rate this book
A collection of insightful, smart, and darn funny comedy sketches. Remember that sketch show you grew up with, the one that was always on TV? Maybe it was Monty Python’s Flying Circus, maybe it was SNL, or Kids in The Hall, or Key & Peele—I don’t know, you tell me. Well, this is just like that, except in written form, so you get to cast whoever you want in any role. Ah, the Theater of The Mind! This book includes future classics such as "Midwestern Anthropology", "Ink The Pope", and "Game of Bones". It touches on topics from zipper etiquette to the culinary temptations of firefighting, from serial-killer envy to what a pope does when he lets his hair down. What a rich, perfectly inappropriate, often downright gross-out tapestry—and yours for so little money!

I adore some good sketch comedy — especially weird absurdist humor. If you like to laugh yourself silly reading a script, this book is for you.
