During construction work at a bridge something strange is unearthed. Here you read what befell some typical characters and how the evil entity spread. The story is based on Lovecraft's Cthulhu myth and you witness one of the old Gods coming back spreading terror, fear and death. Trashoggoth, Legion arise definitely gives you the creeeps. The characters are well done and the plot is driven forward by the author. The description of the old one is excellent and frightening. The hell of a fine novella. Shudders ran down my spine. I hope we'll never face something like that ever. Really recommended!

Wild and wonderful West Virginia becomes not so wonderful when construction on a local bridge awakens a sleeping giant - literally. This weird short pays homage to the Elder Gods of Lovecraft while at the same time painting intimate portrayals of the lives of the people in a quiet town in the forests of West Virginia. I loved every moment, except for the dog incident. That was just too sad for me.
