Heather's husband has been neglecting her and, although she tries not to show it to anyone, it's a big problem. She has needs and wants that her husband hasn't even tried to satisfy in far too long. Now she's even in trouble at the library for complaining about her home life to one of her coworkers.
Samuel spends a lot of his time at the library. He can get the homework from his college classes done there far better than at home. He sees Heather there all the time, and frequently loses a few minutes of work to watching her bend and stretch as she returns books to the shelves.
He offers to listen to her problems and give her a shoulder to cry on, but Heather wants more than that. She wants him to prove that he finds her desirable, and to tell her what to do about it after she's convinced.
