Great source, but the visual aids in the book are so small, making the text difficult to read.

I have read a few books on coding, and they all follow this format: “coding is easy! Even your dumbest cousin’s dumbest pet monkey could do it! With a hangover! All you need to do is plumb the depths of the ethereal realities of duality as it applies to metaphysical partitioning of reality!”

This book explains what various languages do, why they do it better than others, and what the hell makes them necessary. In a way that’s clear and engaging. All you need is a computer and the ability to read and this book walks you (very practically) through a number of drills that give you knowledge and experience… and also an understanding of what you know. Solid, solid stuff. Highly recommend.

This book requires a download, which requires an account with the affiliated website, which requires employment or university details... So that's ended the book before I've even started, really.
