'Time seemed to slow down as I saw the bits of debris and dust start to fall over me like a fine grey snow, time took so long as I slow ran from the everlasting disaster above me, then I heard it hit full whack and cave in. I didn't even have time to panic as the floor smashed down behind me, sending out a wave of water in the pipe work which knocked me off my feet. More dust filled the fading air and my lungs as I began to choke on the new found fear that I might die down here!Imagine a world that has been torn apart by war, then imagine a world torn apart by war and Bio Chemical Warfare. Stacie's life has been turned upside down ever since the acid rain fell from the skies and turning normal, loving and caring people in vicious blood thirsty creatures that now roam the scarred and empty streets.As she tries to stay one step ahead of the creatures she wonders if she will always be on her own but in this new changed world wouldn't it be safer to stay ALONE?

Excellent Story Line
I enjoyed this book. The main character Stacie, went through many tangled interactions. This book told Stacie's whole story in one volume which was a very nice change. Too many series books that readers get invested in that never are finished. Lots of monster action with several types of zombies. Marauder groups, good communities, and people trying to survive the new world in the best way possible. There are a few editing and spelling errors but they do not take away from the story or the characters. Very good zombie novel.
