Hito Steyerl

Her principal topics of interest are media, technology, and the global circulation of images. Steyerl holds a Ph.D in Philosophy from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. She is currently a professor of New Media Art at the Berlin University of the Arts.

This essays collection from Hito is one of the most thought provoking books about media, institutions and culture that I have ever read. Is only a 4 star review because although it very articulate and well documented is feels dense on some parts.
