Really good
I chose five stars as the book is really good and tells the story as it happens There is no dramatisation at all so it's real but sometimes I dont't think it's necessary to put so much in like, they set the cakes on the table and there was blue icing on the cakes. It's not relevant to the story sometimes things are repeated such as there was juice for the children to drink and we all sat and laughed together .Sometimes it's a bit repetitive and I gather from how things are described that the writer is middle class and lives a very comfortable life. As much as she does a great job fostering I would like to read books with an insight into children placed with carers maybe who haven't been as lucky or fortunate in life . However this aside as that's my personal opinion the story is good the boy is placed short term and doesn't show severe issues until he is adopted then things change .I cannot say much else as it will spoil the story but we'll worth the read I couldn't put it down and it was sad as well as happy .
