The relationship between Hassan and Nazariah started off all wrong but following along you could get a sense of what was building. Without having something to hold over Dominique besides assumptions made by Hassan you still feel like she was getting played. Then again if she’s as bad as he put it, she’s playing him again and about to show out seeing that the cats out the bag.
I hated the back and forth from both couples but I think Kyhree and Amina would be better to follow along with seeing neither of them were attached. The ending has me wondering if she’ll make it or if the wife is getting her husband one way or the other.

this is not it
I could not get with this book. It was very confusing in certain parts. Like I forgot who was speaking. I know it’s not real but come on this is just too annoying. I couldn’t get through the entire book without rolling my eyes and putting it down. I barely finished this book and won’t be reading the other two. Someone recommended this book on FB and they lied 😂

Poor Amina did not deserve that. I truly feel that Dominique is not as sick as she says she is. Maybe I am wrong but only time will tell. Great start to the series. Starting book 2 now.

Good book
Oh my God?!! What a ending! I have so much to say but whats really on my mind issssss, was this retaliation from Mario, or was it Dominique The sick wife? I don’t know how to feel about Naz and Hassan relationship, I mean I want them together but I can’t get over the wife no matter the circumstances and dynamics of their relationship. It’s just all Soooo wrong but the heart wants what it wants.Then the kicker is Anthony is in the mix SMH what a mess. What I will say is I don’t think Dominique is going to let this go so easy. After all she was a scammer, and conniving, the only reason why she was with Hassan to begin with was to take him for all he’s got. She seems like the type of woman to be better conniving and full of deception. And then this illness I wouldn’t have believed it if Hassan didn’t say he spoke with her doctors. And then you have Amina and Khyree... they are too much but they seem to fit together. These relationships are happening so fast. What was supposed to stay in the Dominican republic has trickled over to the streets of Miami. The Knight brothers are going to go crazy once they hear what happened. I need to know who is behind the shooting, and if Amenable is pregnant and if She will survive this traumatic event. I’m so glad I don’t have to wait for part two because it’s about to get real.

Good Beginning
The story was good. I got sucked in immediately. Naz was moving really fast in her relationship with Hassan. She didn't take no time finding out who he is or what he does. Imagine how she felt to find out he's married. Naz couldn't be too mad because she didn't ask and didn't stop seeing him once she found out. The story gets even juicier when she finds out who his wife's related to. Now her friend Amina is strange. She's playing hard to get but she's more annoying than anything. One thing she wasn't was careful and could be pregnant. They're all funny because it's only like 3 mos. And they've got all this drama. Well the end was good and left me wanting more. I can't wait to read on and find out about Amina.

I know the saying "You can't help who you fall in love with" can sometimes be true but Hassan and Nazariah should've ended their other situations before they decided to get together. Anthony don't seem like he is going to go away easily. Especially learning why Nazariah left him alone and what Hassan done to him. Hassan claim's Dominique is a scammer. I believe she's still lying about her health. I also know for a fact she's not going to walk away. Dominique is sneaky and cunning. She's up to something. I'm glad Amina and Khyree stopped playing with each other and finally got together. However the way this ended. Lives are about to change drastically. Somehow Nazariah and Amina lives are in danger.

Idiosyncrasies...
First off, I love Miss J’s books. However, this particular book is frustrating me because I don’t particularly like the characters. Amina and Zariah are immature. They’re both stubborn for no reason at all which is a sign of foolishness to me. Then, the Knight brothers have to be the dumbest drug dealers ever. They’re too lackadaisical about what’s going on in their empire. They should be doing more to get to the bottom of what’s going on. So they’re just not believable to me. Now, I do like the plot of the book, just not the actual characters.

Just ok!!
Nothing was spectacular about this book. It's like two couples met and they fell in love quickly. Khyree and Hassan were rude as hell and acted like they ran everything. I found myself skipping pages just to push the story along. I wonder does the wife really have cancer or if it's another scheme. I wonder was she the one that shot at the girls. Hopefully, Amina will pull through but it didn't sound good.

Couldn't put it down!
Wow is all I can say! I couldn't put this book down. Read it in two hours. First I would like to say that I liked how Hasan pursued Nazi. Even though I was a little shocked to find out he was married. I was definitely hoping that Khyree and Amina got together. I believe that that hit was meant for the, both. Can't wait for part 2 because Hasan and Khyree are definitely going to wreak havoc!

Their relationship moved fast, but i think it's wrong for what they are waiting on smh. I'm not going to spoil it just read for yourself. Amina and khyree got a strange relationship lol but is funny lol. I can't wait for part two cause I got a feeling who did it.

Hassan and Kyree are about to lose their minds. I hope Amina and the baby are okay. Poor Nazriairah will be lost with Nina hurt. Got a feeling she's going to blame San tho. Dominique and Anthony are delusional tho. I don't trust Dominique.

I enjoyed reading this love story. I can almost bet that what happened to Amina was done by Dominique, Anthony or Mario. My money is on Dominique cause she's trying to get Nazariah out the picture. On to book 2.
