Phobic and the second book of the spin of series Phoebe Reede: The Untold Story #2 and was another great addition to the series. Phobic continues where the first book finished and has the couple relationship hit a bump in the road over a big misunderstanding. My heart hurt for the couple over the pain and hurt they were experiencing for not being together.

Phoebe is still a feisty and headstrong character that had experienced so much pain throughout her life. My heart hurt for the character with the pain she experiences while she competes at the racing track. I enjoy the resilience that the character has and the way she raises above the challenging encounters that she experiences throughout the book.

There were times throughout the series that had me wanting to hit Beau and I felt my heart break for him at the send of the book. despute being frustrated by beau throughout the series I still adored the character and found that I really enjoyed reading about him.

Phobic is about Phoebe returning back to the United States to compete in a racetrack tournament and one of her rivals being the person that left her heart broken Beau.

Overall, I really enjoyed this story and found that I can’t wait to find out what else is going to happen throughout the story. My heart broke for the characters throughout the story and had me having more questions to be answered then when I first started the book. This book is great addition to the series and another great book written by the author.

Phobic is book two in the Phoebe Reede series and you will need to read book one prior to reading this book. Also, be warned you will find spoilers from book one in this review. Book one had ended in a slight cliffhanger and we pick up right where book one ended. Be prepared, Phobic is not a light or quick read and will have you on a nonstop ride from page one and wanting more when you arrive at the end.
Phoebe had made her decision to still go to the US and to take on the racing contract her parents negotiated for her. Life is not easy for Phoebe now that she is back in the US. Things she thought, just are not what they are and the many different twists and turns will find yourself enjoying every corner. She couldn’t let them down even though she is broken up over the break up with Beau, she needs to prove that she can do this. Things are not easy for Phoebe; especially once she arrives and discovers who one of her teammate is. Along with that fact, she has to deal with many of the other drivers who feel she doesn’t deserve her spot on the team and that daddy bought her way in. So she not only is dealing with being away from her family, she has to deal with a team that doesn’t want her there. Will Phoebe be able to stay professional in this male dominated business and prove herself while dealing with unexpected and unpleasant surprises or will she end up returning home?
The attention to detail is awesome and the author has really done her research with things for this book. Plus, you get so involved in the characters that you feel like they are friends as you take part in what is happening. There were plenty of times that I was yelling at Beau and even Phoebe for things they are doing. Why can’t they just listen but then we wouldn’t have this wonderful book and series . It was great catching up with some characters from the Declan series and not so great learning about others. As like book one, this ends in a slight cliffhanger, too. Now to try and patiently wait for the next book because I need to know.

I just couldnt wait to get stuck into this, the second book in the Phoebe Reede series after the major cliffy at the end of Phase and OMG it was absolutely everything id been hoping and waiting for and so so very much more...

I started this book and read it in 4.5hrs as I was so hooked straight from the very first page. The characters of Phoebe and Beau are so well written and developed that you cant help from getting emotionally involved with them, they get you all tied up in knots as the storyline progresses and you get all the feels and thrills as they are going through each and every situation. It takes a truly talented writer to do that and Michelle Irwin is a genius at working her magic on you by telling such a gripping and entertaining story that it leaves you absolutely reeling, and with such a massive book hangover that you don't know how you'll cope until you can get your next fix when the next book is released.

There were so many moments in the story that got me on the edge of my seat and willing things to happen, I was even cusing out loud at one point at the stubbornness of Phoebe and Beau and the lack of communication between them both, they drove me absolutely crazy but im a stubborn woman myself so I do totally get where they both were at as it's so hard to let go or back down even if your wrong about something.

I just cant wait until the release of Beastly the next installment of Phoebe Reede's story to see what else life has instore for her.

An absolutely brilliant read! 5 Amazing Stars

OMG Michelle has done it again! This story smoothly continues from book one so it is best to read Phase first.
Phoebe arrives in America to start her new stock car racing career but who should she see quickly, Beau! Things don't go smoothly at all and the only person even remotely friendly is Xavier, a young member of the team.
The storyline in this book is a little more developed and more threads are unravelled. Michelle Irwin's mastery of suspense comes to the fore in this book! Be warned it is a cliffhanger and you will want to read the next book! She expertly builds up character profiles and her setting descriptions are so easy to visualise I'm sure I could paint a picture of each place.

I can't wait to read book three.

Beau is holding a huge grudge against Phoebe. His actions are really harsh in the book. Phoebe does her best to cope. She has huge hurdles to overcome. She doesn't even know why either. I loved the come to Jesus moment. The end of Phobic was completely unexpected for me. I'm looking forward to Beastly.

Phobic by Michelle Irwin

I was pulled into this series by a sweet, Southern hottie named Beau. By the end of Phase, I was craving more Beau; wanting to comfort the sexy, sweet man. The story of Phoebe and Beau continues in Phobic and to say their relationship hit a bump in the road is a huge understatement. Their relationship was detoured and spun out of control by deceit and jealousy. This part of their story is angsty and hard on the heart. I love the way Ms. Irwin pulls the reader into the story, spinning the web of events to keep the reader’s heart in the grasp of both Phoebe and Beau.

Again I will say; I love Beau! I’m claiming him as my own. He feels deeply and is truly devastated by the turn of events with his Aussie girl. When she shows up on his home turf, he fights between trying to hurt her and protect her from their coworkers. Beau is sexy and sweet, heartbroken and loyal, showing the latter with his relationship with Cass. He truly is a good man, but a well-placed lie hurt him deeply and tore his heart apart.
I truly adore Phoebe, she’s strong and resilient, trying to confront her new career path in the U.S.; on the same team of the man she loves and crushed her heart. Lies and miscommunication abound between the two and neither of their souls is unscathed by the pain of the loss of their love. Luckily, the reader has insight into their hearts and knows that no matter what; Phoebe and Beau truly loved each other.
Other people try to help pick up the pieces, but they can never quite find all of the shards of their broken hearts. Cass adds another twist, being pregnant and Beau’s fiancée, but not all things are as they appear. Then enter Xavier, the shy young man who wants to replace Beau in Phoebe’s heart. Ms. Irwin twists and turns her characters in the most heart wrenching and delightful ways. Keeping the reader guessing as to what really happened to the relationship of Beau and Phoebe. The plot is well constructed and flows flawlessly leaving the reader at the end of this book with even more questions. I can’t wait for the next book in this addicting series.

*** I voluntarily reviewed this book, I gained no monetary incentives nor was I specifically requested to review the book, these are my honest ramblings and I hope you enjoy reading them - kat***

Well - I hit the ground running literally with this book - yep I was walking and reading ( oh how dangerous - I know but luckily where I live is quite quiet so nobody to walk into and not many cars - I did stop while crossing the road!)

Having finished book 1 I couldn't wait until I got back so I read the book while walking to work, and agh having to put it down while I was working nearly killed me.

Phoebe was left with her heart in tatters at the end of book 1 and then when she is given a chance to head to the US and drive in the Stock Car racing circuit. Her plan is to show Beau that he messed with the wrong Aussie chick, she will show him who is the boss on the circuit, but when she arrives at her new team's headquarters she gets a shock.

With her heart guarded she tries to be brave, but Beau treats her as if she is the villain in their failed relationship, making it hard to get along with the team - dare she put her life in the hands of people who think her a princess who bought her way into the team?

With one friendly face in the crowd, young apprentice Xavier, Phoebe tries to rise above their viciousness and callous remarks, but soon realises that being a woman in a man's world can be quite an uphill battle.

With sexual harassment, old fashioned ideals and the sight of Beau's 5-month pregnant fiancee the next year will prove to be the toughest fight she has had.

Phoebe was a great character, rising above the challenges set, she tries to forget Beau, letting Xavier get close, it doesn't feel the same as the passion with Beau, but he seems sweet and safe...

But all is not what it seems, Phoebe soon finds out that she has trusted the wrong people, and that someone she called family has betrayed her in the worst way.

Beau - well I wanted to hit him from here to next Tuesday, but by the end of the book, I was sobbing for him. But that is all I can say without spoiling this series for new readers.

The action is mostly in the pits, not much track time in this book, but there are a few major twists and turns that will keep you glued until you finish it once you start the book - I was up till the wee hours when I got home from work, BUT I will Warn you - this book will leave you with a book hangover, with a cliffhanger which will make you want to hunt down ms Irwin and demand she writes Beastly now! - but she assured me we will only have to wait till early next year.

I will be hounding her so she sticks to that promise.

5 Stars!!!

I was given this book in turn for an honest review.

Phoebe Reede is determined to turn her USA trip into a success. Homesick and humiliated she fights to prove her worth. With deceit and secrets in her path can she and Beau find each other again? Or is the damage irreparable?

This book left me feeling full of hope and then absolute torture! I was unsure whether to love or throttle Michelle Irwin! Why you ask? Because this author has a way of dragging you into a story, keeping you hooked, intrigued and completely involved to a point where you find its 2.30am and the book suddenly finishes leaving you begging, demanding and crying for more! Michelle Irwin is truly amazing and its clear she puts her heart and soul into each of her books.

Phoebe is as strong, fiery, determined and as witty as ever. She is a young woman you can look up to and take a few lessons from, although she is clearly Declan Reede’s daughter and follows his tradition of making a few wrong choices that lead her into deeper trouble rather than giving her the safe path she so desperately needs.

Beau in this book frustrated me and had me questioning the man I had discovered in the first book Phase; I was unsure if I would possibly even admire the man again. As the story progressed, I found myself falling deeper and deeper into their story and found the man I had come to love and adore. It was clear he was struggling to keep his southern charm and caring nature hidden and that he was acting a different man to hide the hurt and betrayal he felt.

Phobic is going to put you through one hell of an emotional roller coaster! You will be screaming in frustration one minute then screaming in joy the next and just when you think they may have found the path they so desperately deserve and desire; within the blink of an eye everything changes and Michelle Irwin in a talented, beautiful and yet frustrating way leaves you in shock!

Although this book ends on a cliff hanger it is so magically done it is with no doubt that you will join the masses in awaiting the release of the third book in Phoebe Reede’s Untold Story series. I recommend this series to readers who enjoy young adult, suspense, romances.

I cannot wait for the next book in this amazing series!

This book was given to me for an honest review.

OMG. I am so angry this book because it is a cliff hanger. A cliff hanger and I wasn't prepared for the cliff hanger. I thought it would be something I would say ok I can wait a while for, but NO I need to know now what is going to happen. This book starts where it left off in the last one and it had me from the beginning again. I loved Beau and Phoebe at the beginning. Knowing they were trying to work it out being cross country, but you know what happens. Lies, Lies, and situations that happen because of lies. It makes these two fall apart and for that it saddens me, but it also puts a wrench in plans is Phoebe's parents decide to let her move to the states for a racing career. Great right? Phoebe and Beau can work it out. Oh no we have a marriage being planned with a baby. Lets not forget Xavier that come into the picture to try to help Phoebe thorough all of this.

There are so many twists and turns in this book that it had me on my toes through the whole book. I hated seeing what lies do to people that are so much in love. Adding Cass and Xavier in this book was actually pretty genius. I loved what they added to the story. You can still see the youngness in Phoebe, but at times I see her all grown up also. Beau was a butt part of the time but when he got his act in place he turned out to be the guy that we all love. The ending is not what I expected, but I will tell you I can't wait to see how this is going to play out. This book is one that I couldn't put down for the life of me. The characters played the roles perfectly and did what they needed when the time was right. I also think there is a back story with Xavier and his step dad Bee. I think something from the past is going to come out.

I just want to know when the book comes out to complete this series. I can't wait long because I need to know what happens.

I have been waiting for this book. Well worth the WAIT, but it's killing me now waiting for more.

After finishing Phase I was really looking forward to finding out more about Beau and pheobe and where Phobic was gonna take me.

I was gripped from start to finish, the turbulence of this story was phenomenal, it was gripping trying to work out how on earth it all fell apart, and who was the cause of it all. I had my inkling and I was right in the end.
This book will make you laugh (Angel) she just says as it is. It will break your heart, and it will definitely keep you wanting more.

I love how independent Pheobe was in Phase but Phobic shows her softer side, no matter how strong she tries to be her heart rules her.

I cannot wait until book three. I told Michelle when I finished Phobic that I sat there for half an hour in despair. Be warned your emotions will take a battering.

Ahhh that cliffhanger!! I don't want to wait for Beastly! This book definitely had some twists. I was so angry in the beggining and everything Beau was saying and doing...I couldn't believe it. I wanted to throw my kindle at the wall. I'm glad some tbings worked themselves out. And Xavier.... that little shit. Ahh I can't wait for the next one!

PS. I want more Angel. Team Angel and Phoebe.

Wow! Took my breath away! So many emotions that will take your breath away. Phoebe's loneliness from her family leaves her vulnerable. Then with the way everyone is treating her and especially Beau makes you want to punch them yourself if you could. And the heartache and pain she endures from her first step into her new future is almost too much. Phoebe's best friend, Angel, will make you laugh and cry. She's a breath of fresh air and can give Phoebe a good kick in the rear when it's needed and it's needed.

Beau's emotions are all over the place, one minute he hates Phoebe, but then he doesn't. He has more important things going on his life, that need his attention more. His racing isn't just his first priority, his family is, and his family needs him.

When Phoebe finds herself in a dangerous situation, it's Beau who saves her but nothing changes between the two. But as she goes through everyday, she finds one person who doesn't hate her. She and Xavier spend time together working on the Honda she bought from him. Xavier has been her rock and her friend when she needed a friend.

When true love calls, things become clear and some things are not as clear as we need them to be.

All the characters have so much going with one another. All the suspense is intriguing and keeps the reader engaged through the whole read. This was a great story. Very fast paced, danger, lies, secrets, betrayal, desire, hope, tragedy and love. That's a whole lot to take in, but Michelle writes with an eye for the readers heart and the journey is an absolutely wild ride.

4.5 from this reader! I am once again reminded why I love reading Michelle Irwins books! Aside from the VERY many times I, the reader, wanted to smack someone in this book, I loved it. This will definitely be one of those OMG would you both just look at whats going on and talk to each other!
Phoebe has sucked it up and gone to the US to follow her heart and possibly get a little revenge. She doesnt have any idea what she is walking into. Between a greaseball for a manager, teaming up with her now engaged (and soon to be a father) not so long ago ex, a whole new racing team, and her own self doubt and heartache Phoebe is barely on solid ground before her problems start.
Beau is fuming, hurt, and now engaged to Cass. As soon as he realizes who is the new driver in the US he is shocked. How could she do this?
And then theres Xavier. Sweet, caring timid Xavier. Will Phoebe give him the chance to fix what Beau broke? Or will she just have to continue alone? It is nice having a friend finally on her side after all. And maybe Xavier is exactly the safety and security she needs.
Warning: These are SERIALS! That means one book does NOT end. The story is continued in the next book. Small things get resolved but the main story does not end....

I'm pretty sure Michelle got me to feel every feel there is to feel while I was reading this book. There's awkward embarrassment, and frustration. So much frustration. And rage. And bliss. And the love and understanding and shenanigans that can only come with unyielding friendship. And the love of family. And then, she reminded me that not all love stories get a happy middle in their series.

Because, that bleeping bleep of a bleep left me hanging. At the end of book 2, with no book 3 readily accessible. Seriously y'all, this is the cliff hanger to end all cliff hangers. It wrecked me. Destroyed my world. I'm barely even slightly exaggerating. FML, I need book 3. And you, reader of this review, you need to get started on this series. IMMEDIATELY.

OMG!!! This series has me all wrapped up! I can’t stop reading and oh my god, that end!

In this second book of the series, Pheobe is ready to face everything, even if she has to face her feelings everyday.
She sure is strong and determined, I love that about her. Well, she is Declan’s daughter after all.

I think everyone that read Declan’s books knows who Bee really is, and with that stepson of his, Pheobe really is in trouble.
I just want to see if Beau will figure it out. Can’t wait to continue.
Michelle sure knows how to keep me focused on her books. She’s an awesome author!

Phoebe moves to America to pursue her dreams. Not the original happy ever after dreams but the I'm determined to see things through dreams.
Phoebe goes to drive drive in an American team hoping to eventually bump into Beau, the guy who broke her heart, and convince him to take her back. Only she meets him sooner than expected in her new driving team, on day one with his new pregnant fiancé. All the team hate her immediately and think that's she's easy. Every time Beau and her are in close proximity to each other they alternate between love and hate. She keeps telling herself he's got a new girl and there's no hope but still she can't seem to stay away. The only thing stopping her is Xavier, the only one who's been friendly towards her and she decides to take a chance on him. Thinking that what she needs now is safe and steady instead of wild and passionate. Xavier is naive and ultra conservative. His family is weird, his mum radiates how a woman should be and looks down her nose at Phoebe for not doing woman's work. His dad, well, he's just creepy and there's something about him that gives you a shiver down your spine.
I love this book, I love Phoebe and I love Beau. You can feel the seething passion that resonates between them and deep down I kept routing for them to get back together. This book ends on an almighty cliff hanger and I'm eagerly awaiting the next part.

***I voluntarily reviewed this book for Katsindiebookblog, and I gained no monetary incentives nor was I specifically requested to review the book.*** What happens when you start to realize you are more like your father than you anticipated? Like father like daughter! Things obviously didn’t work out as planned with it came to Phoebe’s US trip, she found love, just to have it thrown back in her face. However, who’s fault was it really that caused all this drama? With Declan’s company working out a way for Phoebe to go back over to the US to work the Stock Car racing there, Phoebe knows she has a lot to prove. Especially once people start realizing who she really is. Is she only getting things handed to her because of who her daddy is, or can she really run the tracks like she claims? Not only is she having to prove all of that, she’s working on revenge because Beau broke her heart. But why is he acting like she’s the one to blame, shouldn’t it be the opposite? The story gets juicier and juicer! It seems that the only person, outside of family members (Maybe??), Phoebe can trust is Xavier. He seems to be the only one that gets and understands her. Phoebe finds out more about herself and the people around her, leaving her wondering who she can and can’t trust anymore.
Yet again, you get sucked into this beautiful and crazy world Michelle has written for us. With such a great story line with many twists and turns, and ups and downs. And once again, you get sucked in with a cliffhanger, I’m thinking Michelle does this on purpose! This is so not fair at all I tell ya!!

4 Stars!!

Book one, Phase, ended on a serious cliff-hanger. Phobic is the next book in Phoebe’s life journey. This time she is back with a vengeance and looking for revenge. She heads back to the states to start a career as a stock car racer and guess who her teammate is…her ex, Beau.

Beau and Phoebe are complicated but that makes them so much more interesting. They don’t make it easy on the reader with all the angstiness and frustration, but you can’t help be read and wait for them to finally figure it out.

As with book one, Phobic ends on a cliff-hanger, but don’t let that deter you from the fascinating story and characters.

This book picks up right where the last one left off. THANK GOD  because that was one heck of an ending.

Phoebe and Beau frustrated me beyond belief. If they would have just stopped a second and listened to each other they would have realized. They needed to calm down and talk but everytime they were near each other emotions ran way to high. I wanted to scream, I wanted to punch a wall, throw my Kindle....
Finally it happened they uncovered all the lies, they learned all the truths and all was happy in my Beau and Phoebe in world.
I love to get worked up like that when reading. I was sent on a wild ride of emotions. I loved it!! An author who gets you into a story that much has a true talent.
BUT then I am hit with Holy Sh#t ending. Now I am seriously dying for the next book. OH. MY. GOD!!!!

PHOBIC continues on from the cliffhanger in PHASE, where Beau broke up with Phoebe before she could surprise him with the news that she was moving over to the US to race and to be with him. She decides to go over anyway, determined to race for the next fourteen months and do her best to move on from Beau.

I loved Beau in the first book, but I was so angry with him in this book and I had to keep reminding myself that he really was a nice guy who was just doing shitty things. I had a fair idea about why he broke up with Phoebe, but even knowing that, it was still hard listening to all the cruel and hurtful things he would say to⎯and about⎯her. I get it, he wanted to hurt her the way she had hurt him, but the way he lashed out at her and toyed with her emotions was terrible and my heart was breaking for her before I even hit the 5% mark.

Phoebe was very loud and in-your-face in the first book, and I noticed that her personality had toned down considerably in this book. Heartbreak made her a little softer in some ways, and I found I liked it. Don’t get me wrong, she was still tough when she needed to be. However, I was surprised that she didn’t go ape-shit when she and Beau discovered the truth about their breakup. But maybe that’s just me; I’d built up that scene so much in my head that nothing short of hell on earth would have satisfied me.

“I told you once that love can destroy you if you let it, and it has, Beau. It’s broken me.”

PHOBIC is told in only Phoebe’s POV and it cannot be read as a stand-alone; you have to read PHASE first. Michelle Irwin is one of those few authors that, when starting one of her books, I have to prepare for it. I have to make sure that my housework and blogging responsibilities are up-to-date because I know that once I start, I won’t be stopping. I only put this book down when I absolutely had to, and I ended up reading it in one day. Be prepared for tears and for a cliffhanger that comes out of nowhere; a cliffhanger that has me both desperate and terrified for BEASTLY, the next book in the series.

* Note: This book includes scenes of sexual harassment and sexual assault, which may be triggers for some people.

Arc received for an honest review.

If you want a book that will suck you in so completely that you forget to eat or sleep than Phobic is definitely what you need to be reading!

Phobic is the second book in the Phoebe Reede series and picks up where Phase left off.

Okay, I've been thinking about this review all day and trying to work out how to tell you all just how much I loved this book without retelling the story or giving away any spoilers. So here goes...

I LOVE THIS BOOK lol

Phoebe is absolutely awesome! She's a kickass, straight talking, take no prisoners kind of girl but with a really sweet soft side.

Beau: well, in typical Michelle Irwin fashion I was bouncing between loving him and wanting to knee him in the jewels.

This was one of those books that had me feeling so many emotions, at points I was cracking up laughing at Phoebes very blunt way of talking and then others I felt the gut wrenching pain that she was going through. I think it's a real testament to an author when they can pull the reader in and make them FEEL the characters emotions and this is something that Michelle excels at.

Normally my focus in books is on the guy, but with Phobic it's Phoebe that has stolen my heart... She has quickly become one of my absolute favourite female characters.

I really can't wait to see what comes next in this series.

If you haven't already started this series then you really, really should... You won't be disappointed.

REVIEW
Holy Smokes!! Yea this book is sizzling and I am not sure if one is in the frying pan or the pot. This book picks us up pretty much where book one left us. Phoebe is heading back to the states although she hasn't let her family know of the turn of events with Beau. Now on top of that where she has been sent to drive is none other than the same race team as Beau. Things don't go as smoothly as Phoebe plans however. There is one there however who does take a shine to her and that is Xavier.

Just when you think all is fine and dandy well think again.

So many things transpire in this book my emotions were on overload I literally didn't stop reading till I was done and then went back a chapter to make sure I didn't miss something. All I can say is please tell me when is the next book?

WOW!!! Michelle Irwin has done it again! She just keeps getting better andbetter. Sit down, strap yourself in, and get ready for a roller-coaster ride of emotions! Then when you least expect it, BAM!! Michelle throws in a sharp curve and the story ends!! Evil woman!

I wanted to slap Phoebe and Beau and tell them to quit acting like adolescents. To really talk to each other. I knew that wasn't going to happen anytime soon because Phoebe is sooooooooo much like her dad. The sparks were flying hot and heavy from the minute they first saw each other. Things happened that made me cry for Beau. I so want a HEA for these two.

I never cared for Xavier. He is passive-aggressive. Phoebe infuriated me with the crap she let him get by with. I realize she was trying to make things work but... Like Angel told her, she had lost her spark.

I loved the story from beginning to end. I urge you to buy Phase and Phobic. Better yet, start at the very beginning with Declan Reede: The Untold Story. You don't want to miss a minute of the action!

Pholic by Michelle Irwin is book two in The Phase series.
This book is not a stand-alone.
Phoebe is a strong young woman who knows what she wants. And that is race cars in the US.

I really liked this book and give 5 Stars. Thank you Michelle Irwin.

Every relationship has it’s bumps and slumps but this just crashed and burned. All over a misunderstanding of an epic proportion.
Phoebe Reede had left Australia to drive on an American racing team to make the summer fling she had pay for dumping her and using her. She is a force to be reckoned with. So, rather sit out another season at home her family wanted for a while to get a way into the American arena.
Phoebe being in love was the perfect way not knowing things had already started to go south in the worst way. She knew this was a big undertaking not only for her career as a driver but as a way for the family to get their foot in the door of American racing.
Knowing her dad was overly protective and would pull the plug blowing their big chance she couldn’t do that after talking with her bestie, Angel, she decided to show that two timing American race car driver a thing or two. One, what he was missing by messing around on her. And two, beating his ass on the track.
Little did she know that when she gets to the new team she would receive the surprise of her life. She would be so broken by it she loses that spunk she was so known for and what she had come to America for in the first place to find herself.
I love this story until the end. It’s a cliffhanger in the true sense of the word. I have never been a fan. But, that’s me. I get on going stories the dum, dum, dum then nothing. I like a clean ending for me. With an intention of what is to come but this always makes me feel like it was as incomplete thought. Remember just me. Would it make not want to wait for the next book with on pins and needles heck no. Because I am. It had me from beginning to the end. I give this book 5 stars. I was give this book by the author for an honest review.

What just happened? O.K. sooooooooooo I was really digging Phobic and getting into the grove of this book then BAM! The end of this book took me by surprise. I NEED THE THIRD BOOK NOW. I have all kinds of thoughts in my head about where this is going to go and I am driving myself crazy about it!

Phoebe takes a leap and joins a racing crew in the States with the intent on being with Beau. However, a dirty rat causes a bit of trouble and Phoebe's world is turned upside down. Now faced with the hatred of the man she loves, Phoebe must endure the same stigma she faced while racing in Australia. All the while watching the man she loves move on. Luckily for Phoebe, she finds a friend in Xavier.

Beau is trying to move on from the betrayal he feels, but he can't seem to let go. Then tragedy strikes and he needs the one person that he loves the most.

Phobic was soooooo good. Phoebe and Beau drove me crazy in this book. We finally have clarification as to exactly what happened and I am so made at a certain character. We also learn some things about a character that totally changes our perception. Phobic drug me though the coals. I cannot wait for the third book.

Here Phoebe takes a risk in following her heart, which back fires big time. It leaves her in a country without family and friends, in a job where she is resented and tormented and Beau is with someone else. One to never give up, she digs her heels in and works her socks off. Beau gives off mixed messages: engaged to another woman but still paying so much attention to Phoebe. The pull between them is strong. Phoebe though is determined to move forward and Xavier fills a gap in her life.

There is certainly lots of action, tenseness, sparks and animosity here that keep you on your toes and have you reeling. There was no chance to be complacent or relax throughout this installment. It provides a further insight into Phoebe and shows the incredibly strong woman she truly is.

This is turning into an incredible series that has me completely hooked and desperately wanting more.
