To someone on the outside it seems like some people just naturally win the lottery by a stroke of circumstance, they are a money magnet. In reality, even if money was handed to someone on a silver platter, they have to manage to keep it and allow more in. That has more to do with a strong money mindset than with being lucky.
After Cassie Parks realized she could change her money beliefs to become one of those people who easily make and keep money, she spent years figuring out exactly how to change her money mindset. Now that she has, her money mindset supports money coming into her life easily and sticking around for the party. Parks has spent the last two years teaching other people how to manifest more money into their lives whether they were entrepreneurs, employees or unemployed. The step-by-step process Parks teaches is the basis of Manifest $10,000.
Directions to the intersection of abundance, mindset, ease, and grace is what you will find in Manifest $10,000. Using inspiring stories about people who have manifested more money into their lives, and providing instructions and analysis about why others haven t been successful in the past, Parks will guide you through the process of learning to manifest $10,000 into your life in the next 90 days in a way that feels simple and fun."
I have been following Cassie's work for a while and this one hits it out of the park. It explains not just the "what," but the "why" of her manifesting system and how to use the system to put an extra 10,000 dollars in your life. I know where mine is going. Do you?
I received a copy of this book from the author, Cassie Parks, in exchange for my honest review.
I have dabbled with this in the past and have an idea of how this works and have personally been able to achieve some things using this technique. If you have been on the fence about the law of attraction, this book is a great place to start. This book will definitely open your mind to the possibility of how manifesting works.
The easy conversational language of this book makes it a quick read although I think you would like to take it slow as you might want to spend time mulling these concepts over. One of my favorite concept Cassie talks about is how to step into the state of beingness rather than a state of doingness.
The book has seven short chapters. The first half of the book talks about your money mindset and are limiting beliefs. The second half gives you a blueprint of what, why and how to use the system to bring in extra $10,000 in your life in 90 days.
The author also makes some excellent points about how mindset can shape your success and how you can work on your mindset to achieve your financial goals.
My favorite quote from the book: "where attention goes, energy flows."
I read this book after interviewing Cassie Parks on my podcast, Financial Fluency where I really enjoyed speaking with her about her various income streams such as real estate, coaching and being an Amazon author with 7 books under her belt. I immediately wanted to read one of those 7 books and get a feel for her writing. The writing style is candid and conversational. Cassie uses a lot of examples and stories both from her own life and from the lives of past clients who have struggled with and eventually succeeded to manifest money and goods into their lives.
Because the term manifest and manifestation gets thrown around so much these days I feel like it can refer to a whole lot of things. So I’m going to head on over to Meriam-Webster to get a solid definition.
Manifest: 1: readily perceived by the senses and especially by the sense of sight. Their sadness was manifest in their faces. 2: easily understood or recognized by the mind
Manifestation: 1a : the act, process, or an instance of manifesting demanded some manifestation of repentanceb (1) : something that manifests or is manifest (2) : a perceptible, outward, or visible expression external manifestations of genderc : one of the forms in which an individual is manifested Hate in all its manifestations is wrong.d : an occult phenomenon; specifically : materialization 2: a public demonstration of power and purposemeetings, parades, and other such manifestations — H. M. Parshley
So I guess the use of the word manifest and manifestation in the context of this book would be to take the idea of what you want in your mind and materialize it into being in the real world. Let's go with that.
So, I have heard of the Law of Attraction (aka LOA) before, so I'm not entirely unfamiliar with it, but I have never watched the movie The Secret and have only skirted around the ideas of manifestation myself. There are plenty of scientific psychological studies that show the ways our thoughts really do influence our behaviors and habits and the ways our behaviors, habits and daily focus can influence the outcomes of everything from job interviews to first dates, so why the heck not? This book starts with the premise that you know about the Law of Attraction and have tried to manifest money and goods before but have not been as successful as you would like. If are not familiar with the Law of Attraction and have not tried to manifest money and goods into your life before, you are not really at a disadvantage in this book. You can definitely figure out what she is talking about through context clues.
The meat and potatoes of the book is a series of exercises that Cassie wants you to do on a daily basis across the span of 90 days. There are certain things that you focus on in the first trimester or month, the second trimester or month and then the third. Each exercise only takes about 20 minutes per day and she wants you to put that 20 minutes into your calendar each day so you will do them all without fail. At the end of the 90 days, Cassie is completely confident that you will have drawn to yourself, earned or in some other way created an extra $10,000 above and beyond what you normally earn during that time.
So I broke it down: $10k/90 days = $111.11 dollars per day or $3,333.33 extra per month. An easy way to keep track of this is to look at what came in over the past 90 days or roughly 3 months. If you get a paycheck, this is super easy. For those of us who freelance and sometimes have wild fluctuations in our income, this might take a little more adding up, but I just got that number and am writing it on my calendar today. I'll come back and update you with my results in 90 days! I can say that during the two days I was reading this I did get a free drink from the barista at Starbucks and two people sent me free copies of their books, so that's a start!
You manifest. I think the book has some really good ideas on how to get the money but to sum it into failing to get money as if it is just wrong manifestation or wrong visualization is just really really suspicious. One thing to imagine the money is in your possession, another is to believe it is there for you even when none is there. Manifestation is just so confusing and too many grey areas.
I'm more of a "make a plan, take action' type of person, but I do strongly believe in the power of mindset, and this book really covers that. It makes some really excellent points about how mindset can shape success and gives good tips on how to adjust your mindset accordingly. I think I'll combine it with some of my "take action" type things.
I'm going to give this a go, so right now I'm only reviewing the book and not yet the process. I think it's okay so far, the language is very intimate but the layout was a little repetitive. I think there should have been a better step by step process. But I'll come back in 90 days and see if it works.
Although I am in the Manifest 10K Facebook group, I have learned so much from reading this book. I will add scheduling 20 minutes a day onto my calendar because I know that I can dedicate that much time towards manifesting money. Furthermore, I will be rereading this book at every stage during my 90-day journey because I will get to revisit some of Cassie's tips.
