Being part of the drug game, or better yet, being the daughter of the biggest Kingpin on the east coast, love was the last thing on Chasity Logan's mind. After her mother's untimely death, she was forced to fill in the shoes of the Logan clan's First Lady since age fourteen. Being bred by the infamous, Chauncey Logan, she knew the in's and out's of the game firsthand. To many, she was considered a cold piece of work; she was as tough as any hustler on the block. With no room for error, money was her only motive. At least until she met Kyron 'Roc' Tucker. Kyron Tucker also known as 'Roc' was a well-established dope boy who'd made it to the big leagues. With both of his parents gone, Roc wanted nothing more than to get himself out of the slums of Compton. Nothing else mattered to him. Hustling at a young age, Roc was determined to get it by any means. He learned early on, just how cruel the world could be, never knowing the meaning of love. Only money and murder. Roc had the heart of a hustler; a natural born swagger that appeared to many, including Chasity. When the two meet, will they be able to find everything that's missing within one another? When their worlds collide, will their perceptions change? Or will the drug game make their decision for them? As they say, before the storm comes the calm. Will their love prevail and guide them through their darkest hour?
I could not put this one down when I tell you this one here is worth it!!! Chas and Roc have you on the edges of us seats, this book was everything and then some!!
I was entertained the entire time, I just felt like it was a lot of back and forth. I'm still on the fence about a few of the characters. I'm in total shock that Eliza pulled off such a scheme. Although the storyline had all the details, I still felt their was something lacking within this plot. I look forward to seeing how part 2 unfolds. Job well down for a beginner in the game!!!!
